Well, this story's been out of it for a little while...

The good news is, I think I know what I'm doing and I'll try and get back to regular updates either today or at the weekend.

Also need to edit the story properties so the website doesn't claim this is written in Norwegian. That seems Pythonesque, but was entirely unintended...

If you want something to read in the interim, I'd recommend Fear and Love by pregnantpadme. Well, I'd recommend her Fragile, first, but if you've already read that one, go and read her other one... she writes a great Jaina and a great Tahiri, and she's actually able to write a Jacen and Jag that I want to read, which is about as high praise as I can give to a STAR WARS story...

And, quickly, a couple of reader repies!

pregnantpadme - I'm glad you like Jaina's reaction - as to Anakin, my guess is that his plan will go wrong in a chaotic way and improvisation will result, but explanations about Thrawn will be upcoming!

chaosrin - you raise an interesting question, and one that deserves a serious answer: A/T simply don't think that a lot of social rules are important outside polite company, and that really shows when they're with each other, in contrast with Jaina, whose defensive use of culturally-specific behavioural norms is a form of armour to hide her vunerabilities, and as a result is just a little bit Darth Vader... the interaction between those attitudes is partially just a collision of where they are as people, and is an attempt to be accurate to their characterisation and backstory in the books (shift the context, though, and Anakin and Jaina can be a very anarchic combination in themselves), but also reflects the author's belief that rules of this sort are very culturally-specific constructs, and that people from a different cultural background can be completely comfortable without them - but that said, I actually adjusted my rough draft to try and avoid anything that might be misread as gratuitous fanservice, and I'm not sure where you see "constant" undress.

None of that should be seen as a complaint, though - just a respectful response to an interesting question!

Once again, a big, bold Thank You! to everyone who's been reading!
