A simple one shot, of how I like to portray the March of the Tarnished, and as such I'm only working off of speculation and what all I can recall from the lore, so if I happen to get a few things wrong...well, not like I can do much to fix it.

A story about Tarnished traveling the Lands Between.

In lowly undying hands of no renown, he pledged oath and blade. A promise to the moon and its vassals in the unknown dark, the knight fought blade and fang as the Lunar Princess' champion. In vile lakes of blood and hidden star-adorned skies, the Tarnished slayed and fell all in his path to manifest the age of stars his lady had desperately wished for.

Maiden this, maiden that, how about maiden deez nuts huh! Enough quest and running around, enough with the chores, enough with the Elden Ring and stupid gods- with chances renewed in Lands Between, being an Elden Lord can wait, how about causing chaos with the boys? Now, that's fun! And we'll do it TOGETHHHHHHAA! Suck it Marika!

Aerfen has lost count of how many times she has done this song and dance. Inevitably, she's sent back to the Chapel of Antincipation some time after the Elden Ring is mended, no matter if she's the Elden Lord or not. An eternal struggle that she can't seem to escape from. This is a short story based on Fromsoftware's Elden Ring. This story takes both known and accepted lore into account, as well as my own interpretations of certain lore tidbits left in game.
