A/N: Hello. I am not going to drag out the question of if either of them are or not for too long. I'm not certain which way to go because I have ideas for two different paths this could take.

So, I have decided to leave it up to you guys. Pick 'A' or 'B'. Depending on which letter wins the vote then I will let you know in the next chapter what the options were and which one won.

After a couple of weeks it became apparent rather quickly that Izumi was pregnant. She was the first to know stating that she could sense it within her, the new energy that was separate from her own with Sesshomaru confirming it by her scent.

Rin waited patiently to find out if she were herself marking the days mentally as it neared when she would start her cycle.

She had not had any of her ginger tea since the night they agreed to get pregnant but still she wondered if there would be after effects since she had been taking it for so long.

Sitting outside with Izumi the two females fanned themselves against the sudden onslaught of heat that had started a few days prior.

"How are you feeling Izu?" Rin asked companionably.

"A bit tired but I am well." Looking to Rin she cocked her head slightly to the side. "How you are faring Rin with, all of this?"

"I'm just fine." She said with a smile. "I am hoping that I am pregnant as well then we can have our children close in age. I will be pregnant for a bit longer than you though."

"That would be something." Izumi smirked at the thought. "I never thought ever in my life that I would be sharing any of this with a human. That I would be so content somewhere like this."

"Kohaku is a good man and I know he will be an excellent mate for you."

"Yes he is but I was talking about you Rin."

"Me?" Rin questioned turning her attention to Izumi who nodded her head once.

"You are very special to me. Do you remember when I explained to you about how my kind bonds to one person?" Izumi asked receiving a small nod from Rin. "It was not intentional but I have bonded with you."

"B-but what about Kohaku?" Rin couldn't help the stutter in her voice.

"Bonding with someone or being bound is different than accepting someone else as your mate." Izumi explained. "I chose to initiate a relationship with Kohaku and in the time that I have known him we have fallen in love."

"With you Rin it was not by my own choice. Not that it is anything of any bother to me however it means that essentially, you're stuck with me."

Smiling widely Rin practically tackled her around her shoulders. "Rin is just fine with that Izu!" She exclaimed cheerfully. "We'll all live together, like I said before. You and me with Lord Sesshomaru and Kohaku. We are like sisters but closer than sisters."

"Yes. Yes we are." Izumi said with a full blown smile. "How long until you find out if you are with child?"

"Another moon phase or so. I know how to check but it would too early right now to know." Backing off slightly as Izumi sniffed at her she sat on her knees as she started at her throat and worked her way down to her breasts and stomach.

Righting herself she gave a shrug. "I don't detect any change in your scent. That is not saying much since I don't know what a human female is supposed to smell like when they are pupped."

"I think I am or at least hopeful about it." Rin said standing. "Are you willing to try something different to eat?"

"Depends on what it is." Izumi replied.

"It is a rice and milk porridge that women eat in my village when they're pregnant. It's good for the baby since it has a lot of fat in it." She said.

"Sure. I'll try some if you eat it with me." She said standing. Rin gave a happy nod.

"At the same time we can start a stew for later. It's still early enough that we can prepare it."

"Alright Rin." With her own nod they went into their home and prepared the food. Rin showed Izumi how to make her special porridge by soaking cooked rice in the milk and mashing it.

Stirring it in the pot over the cooking hearth Izumi glanced into it and wrinkled her nose. "It looks as if someone has already chewed it."

"I promise," Rin laughed out, "It tastes much better than it looks." Once it thickened and began to bubble slightly Rin removed it from the heat and served it into two bowls.

Sipping at it she encouraged Izumi to do the same. Bringing the bowl to her face she sniffed it a couple of times before placing the bowl to her mouth and taking a small amount.

"You can have it." She said placing the bowl in front of Rin.

"You don't like it Izu?"

"No." Taking some water from a cup she made a gagging sound.

"There has to be some kind of human food that you will eat. Oh, what are you going to do now for hunting? I know that you do not do it often but I wouldn't feel comfortable with you in your condition." Rin said.

"In these situations where the female stays in the males estate once she's been bred it is the males job to provide for her." Izumi replied careful of how she worded things.

"Oh. Don't worry Izumi. Lord Sesshomaru is a wonderful provider." Rin said cheerfully. "He will make certain that both of you are well taken care of."

Watching Rin as she ate Izumi couldn't help but wonder if all humans were as accommodating and kind as she were. Based off of rumors and stories she had hard from others that traveled through villages or had a more intimate knowledge of their species she didn't believe it to be so.

Humans could be cruel and just as violent as demons. Rin and Kohaku were unique. Perhaps it had everything to do with being so close to a powerful demon from a formative age or maybe it was just their nature.

Whatever the case Izumi was eternally grateful that they were pack.

As Kohaku entered their chamber he smirked as Izumi sat on the futon platform poking at her stomach.

"What are you doing?" He asked curiously. Frowning slightly she glanced up at him for a moment.

"I have a bump." She said. "It's hard as a rock."

"Well you are pregnant." He stated sitting in front of her. Taking her hand away from herself he placed his over the spot and pressed lightly feeling the area she was speaking of. "That's amazing."

Gently her fingers went to his face tracing the edges of his healed wound. "It truly does not bother you that I am having another males progeny?"

"From a young age Lord Sesshomaru explained to me the importance of a pack and the hierarchy of it. As much as I love Rin she is not an alpha female yet she has an apex, alpha mate. You are the female that needs to be in this pack Izumi." Kohaku explained. "So no, it doesn't bother me. I know my place, where I stand and I am perfectly content with that."

"I understand now why you are so accommodating of this situation. From everything I have seen and learned about humans from you and Rin, a pack mentality goes against your nature." She said.

"Lord Sesshomaru protected me when no one else could. I was controlled by a vile half demon named Naraku. He held my life in his hands. I made a pact with him to forget my sins I would serve him. There were many times that Sesshomaru should have killed me but in the end he took me in. Ordered me to protect Rin and that was when it was explained to me and I liked the idea of it. It made me feel needed and accepted."

"Sins?"

"Some other night beautiful girl." He said his eyes going distant for a moment before refocusing. "I am planning on sending word to Sango about our mating and intent to wed."

"If it would be appropriate I very much would like to write to her as well. A letter between females." Izumi replied obliging him to change the subject.

"Of course. She'd like that." He said pressing his forehead to hers. "Right now all I want to do is lie here with you in my arms."

"I would like that also." Straightening out the pillows and blankets Kohaku wrapped an arm around her shoulders and the other around her waist. Izumi rested her head against his shoulder with her own arm draped across his chest.

"Lord Sesshomaru, how is it that you and Izu could tell so early on that she was with child but neither of you can tell with me." Rin said.

"Any pup that grows in your womb will do so much more slowly than the one Izumi is carrying. That is why. Our kind grows fast to be born quickly." He replied as she sat atop him comfortably.

Moving her hands down to her stomach she pressed her fingers against it. "I have to be. If I'm not and she is…it will hurt."

"I understand, I do. Regardless you are my mate, the only one for me." Wrapping her arms around her waist he pulled her down to him. "I love you Rin."

"Hmmm." She hummed cuddling her head under his chin. "I will never tire of hearing you say that."

"It's the truth. In some capacity I always have. It was never my intention to take you in this way. I had always presumed you would find a human male and live out your days in the village." He said.

"How do you ever expect me to settle with a human man when you set the standard of my expectations? No one compares to you, my lord." Rin whispered kissing his jaw and down his throat.

"Rin." His voice came out labored as her tongue dipped out to taste his skin dragging it up to his chin before moving back down again. Clutching at her back he dug his claws into her yukata gently.

"Yes my love." She whispered seductively. "Tell me what you want from me?"

"Just you. All of you." Sesshomaru panted out. Sitting up Rin untied her robe letting it fall off of her to reveal herself to him.

"Like this?" Taking his hands she placed them against her breasts encouraging him to caress them and squeeze.

"Yes." Running his thumbs over her nipples to harden them he licked his lips before leaning up taking one in his mouth sucking on it eagerly.

Holding his head in place Rin buried her face into his hair and played with the long strands. "Mhmm. Yes Sesshomaru. Oh. That feels so good."

Flicking at her abused nipple with his tongue he went to her neglected side to show it proper attention as well.

Grinding her hips against his she felt him become hard under her. Pushing his clothing aside she rubbed his head against her bud throwing her head back and moaning.

Bucking his hips into her sex as she stroked him and pleasured herself at the same time she pushed his face away from her breasts to bite at his lips rolling the bottom one between her teeth hard enough to draw blood.

Growling at her action Rin swiped her tongue against his lip tasting his blood on her tongue. "You belong to me." Rin said. "Only mine."

"Yes Rin." His voice came out ragged and husky as he took her lips with his forcing his tongue into her mouth. Breaking the kiss she adjusted herself to push her body down his shaft sheathing him within her.

"Oh yes! Ah, Sesshomaru!" She cried out as she slammed her hips against his burying him as far into her as he could go. Taking her hands with his he intertwined their fingers allowing her to ride him harder.

"Don't stop Rin. Yes. Yes." Sesshomaru stared at her as they shared their pleasure together. Her small breasts bounced slightly as she tossed her head back breathing heavily. "You're beautiful."

"My…Sesshomaru! Ah!" She screamed out. "Sess…Sesshomaru!" Her walls clenched around him tightly causing him to reach his climax.

"Rin." He snarled out as he felt himself pumping inside of her causing the muscles in his groin to tighten with each stream of seed. Lying back down on top of him Rin sighed out.

"Only you." She whispered lying in bliss as he began to rumble the purring noise he made sometimes when he was satisfied.
