8:45 a.m.
As Miss Hardberry begins discussing the rules of her class, a tiny robot bug flies towards the window facing the kindergarten playground. It videotapes the classroom, then flies towards the end of the outside of the Waiting Room to meet up with none other than Dr. Robotnik. He thanks his robot for the video, and begins walking to the soccer field.
Yes, Robotnik is back! How's he going to ruin Sonic's day this time? He doesn't know yet, but when he starts coming up with ideas with his robotic sidekick, Robot, he'll know. When Robotnik makes it to the center of the green field, the ground opens, and he falls through the hole. Finally landing on the floor, he gets up commenting, "I will never get used to falling down."
The hole in the ceiling leading to the soccer field suddenly locks up. Robotnik turns to Robot, who had just pressed a red button for the ceiling to lock itself. "Thank you, Robot," he says to the red machine.
What's going on? Since Robotnik's base is underneath the school, he didn't want a bunch of kids falling in here while he was coming up with evil schemes or whatever he does in his pastime. So he made Robot create a button to lock the hole during school hours. Today might be an exception, as Robotnik might be out to get Sonic again. Not sure why, but he'll think of something.
"You're welcome," says Robot. "What's Sonic up to this time?"
"Today's his first day of school," Robotnik answers. "He's in Kindergarten."
Robot claps his hands in joy. "How lovely!" he chirps. "How are we going to get him this time?"
"I don't know," the human responds as he sits down at the table. "What do you think we should do?"
The villains take a few minutes to think of a good plan to ruin Sonic's day. They're not gonna kill him, but they do want to cause physical damage. Finally, Robot sees an old camera on top of the refrigerator. He extends his arm as high as he can and grabs it.
"I got it!" Robot cries out.
Robotnik notices the old camera Robot is holding. "Isn't that my old camera from a decade ago?" he asks.
"Yes," the red machine answers. "From what I can remember, the flash button broke, and the flash became brighter than ever!"
Robotnik smiles. "That give me an idea!" he announces. "Why don't we use that camera to take a picture of Sonic's class, but the flash in the camera makes them blind!?"
"Funny," Robot responds. "That's exactly what I was thinking."
"And it sounds even better when I say it!" Robotnik responds back, than starts laughing maniacally.
That was Chapter 4; another short chapter! I really couldn't think of how to make it longer. Don't worry, though; next last chapters should be longer. Please remember to review, and I will see you in Chapter 5!
