A group of children is playing a game of kickball, but they are wrapped in extremely thick bubble wrap. One of them tries to roll the ball, having a lot of difficulty.

Muffy: Eww! That is the most disgusting thing I've ever seen in my life! She opens an ornate lunchbox. Luckily our chef prepared my lunch at home for me.
Francine: What a lightweight! There are a lot more disgusting things than Salisbury steak!
Sue Ellen: Yeah, smelly socks! (laughs)
Arthur: Baby diapers.
Buster: Cat whiskers!

Buster: Ugh!
The kids sit down at tables.
Francine: You wanna know what's really, really disgusting?
George comes by with a nosebleed.
George: Er, does anybody have a tissue?

She fakes a nosebleed.
Kids: (laugh)
George: What? It's just a bloody nose. I can't help it.

She squirts ketchup on the table.

Both stepped beside Arthur´s bed, Jane frowns. " Arthur, what is going on?"

After a brief wait, DR. GREENBERG enters.

Arthur could hear all sorts of sounds as he lay in his bed and just wanted to go home but tried to make the best of it by hiding under his pillow while thinking how they will let him go home tomorrow.

Michael enters the school entrance when Francine and Buster passe his way.
Francine frowns. " Where is Arthur?"
Michael sighs. " Wel, he can't come because-"
Buster interrupts him. " I bet he´s kidnapped by aliens!"
Muffy who joined them glare at him. " Buster, this is stupid! Aliens, you watch too much of that silly stuff!"

After parks in the Hospital Parking lot, they go up to the 7th floor and wait. in Arthur Hospital room

Arthur has just gotten home from the hospital. He is in his pajamas and is climbing into bed. for a little Nap

Jane Laughs A Bit "No, D.W., it's just another side effect of the Ear infected, and, Arthur, I'll get you some more meds.
Jane doses the meds just as David speaks with Arthur.
David said "Did you at least have a good 's rest?"
Arthur said "I had the craziest dream I don't think I ever had one of them where things made less sense."

David said Michael please nothing to worry about "Sometimes that can happen to you right after the meds they give you."

Another shot: D.W.'S Arm pops right up into the shot, holding a fresh cup of strawberry banana juice.

Arthur's sitting right on the sofa and watching The Bunny League.
D.W.'s sitting right on the living room floor right next to the sofa and she doesn't look interested in The Bunny League, but instead, she's playing with her toys and things.
Arthur to D.W.): "Thanks a bunch for letting me watch The Bunny League, D.W.."
D.W. looks right up to Arthur.
D.W. "Well, you did let me watch what I wanted when i had that cold so I figured I should too, even though The Mary Moo Cow Show is much better than some other television shows."
Arthur ignores D.W.'s insult to The Bunny League and continues watching the entire episode.
Michael was Play with Kate
[Doorbell Ringing]
Arthur said "I'll get it."
Arthur opens the front door to find Buster standing right in the doorway.

Buster takes out a bottle of soda and hands it to Arthur.
Arthurs said Looking At Bottle) Finally, something I actually want to drink.
Arthur speaks to Buster in a more direct manor.
Arthurs said I haven't eaten anything since before this virus came and everyone's been making me drink tons of other stuff.
Arthur opens the bottle and takes a drink.
CUT TO:
INT. THE READ'S COMPUTER AREA - DAY
Jane is working on the computer.
Suddenly, she is interrupted by the sounds of Arthur choking and coughing.
She instantly stops working and runs over to the entrance of the house.
INT. THE HOUSE ENTRANCE - DAY
Arthur is coughing and looks to be in pain, the bottle of soda in his hands.
Buster is in the doorway, concerned about Arthur.
Jane runs to Arthur's side and takes the soda from his hands.
Jane said Arthur! You shouldn't be drinking this! The orange has acid, it burns your throat. The fizz also causes burning
Arthur starts to recover. Now you tell me...
Jane said Why don't you come with me into the kitchen, we'll find something more suited to your throat.
Arthur turns to Buster.

Arthur sits at the table. Jane is standing up, holding the bottle of the soda.
Jane said Arthur, you know that you shouldn't have been drinking soda, they told you that at the hospital.
Arthur said I know, I guess I listing. I got sick of drinking nothing but water and juice all day.
Michael said will Arthur been doing fine it almost two day and Francine is better it turn out it was just George nosebleed that made her Nauseous in the First place but that was all thankfully
Jane said Well, then maybe you want to move on from juice and try eating some food for dinner today?
Arthurs said Well what can I eat? It still hurts my tummy with anything heavy.
Michael said I have an plan Arthur just wait until dinner time you will love it I just have talk to dad see you later.

INT. THE READ'S KITCHEN - Late at Dinner
Arthur is sitting at the table, eating a bowl of chocolate pudding.
Plates of another dinner item are placed on the table for the rest of the family.
DAVID call D.W., dinner is ready!
D.W. runs into the kitchen and sits at the table. She notices that Arthur is eating pudding.
D.W. said Hey, that's not fair!
Jane said What's not fair, D.W.?
D.W. said Just because Arthur's still have that Virus , that means that he can eat pudding for dinner !?
Jane said D.W., Arthur's still recovering From the virus If he ate food that was hard to swallow or needed a lot of chewing, he could end up back in the hospital so he'll be eating soft foods like pudding for a while.
D.W. said How long is 'a while?'
Michael said At least a week.
D.W. pouts
Michael said Dw don't start now eat your dinner before it get cold
the next afternoon Arthur and D.W. are playing checkers right at the coffee table. while Michel is walking Pal

Jane said "sure, D.W., I'll get you kids some of them."
(Jane gets right up and opens the freezer and takes out the box of freezy-pops and removes 1 single red freezy-pop.(
Jane said "Oh, there's only one red left, the rest of them are bright orange and bright purple."
D.W. "OK, I'll take it right pauses a bit.
D.W. said "I'll take it right over to Arthur, and I'll have one of the purple s."
Jane said "That's real kind of you, D.W.."
D.W. walking away D.W. gives the red freezy-pop to Arthur.
Arthur said "Thanks a bunch, D.W.."
D.W. said "So Arthur, how long are you gonna keep eating pudding and freezy-pops?"

David said Oh, good morning, Arthur! How did you sleep?
ARTHUR (Confused, Dad? What are you doing? I'm late for school, it's Monday!
David laughs.
David said Arthur, you can't go to school yet, the doctors said that you'll need to recover at home for a while. then a week later see Dr Bailey
David looks down at the pot. Now, how about some oatmeal?
ARTHUR said Ummm, sure.
Arthur sits at the table and begins to eat his oatmeal.
INT. THE READ'S LIVING ROOM - DAY
Arthur is sitting on the couch, he is reading a book.
D.W. enters the room.
D.W. said Why are you back so soon?
Arthur looks up from his book.
ARTHUR said I didn't go to school today, the doctors said that I need to let my ears heal.
The doorbell rings.
Arthur gets up and walks to the door.
INT. THE HOUSE ENTRANCE - DAY
Arthur opens the door. Once again, Buster is standing in the doorway.
ARTHUR said Hi Buster, you didn't bring any soda this time, did you?
Buster said No, I brought something less fun: Homework.
ARTHUR , Slightly Disappointed) Oh, I forgot that I'd still have to do homework.
Arthur takes the stack of homework from Buster.
Buster said So how's your ears ? Everyone at school wants to know.
ARTHUR said It's still hurting, but I think it's starting to feel better. I still can't eat anything except pudding, oatmeal, and other soft things.
Buster Look on the bright side: you get to eat as much pudding as you want!
ARTHUR said Yeah, I guess that's pretty good. Tell everyone I said hi, I'll probably be back at school soon.
Arthur closes the door and walks away.
ZOOM IN: CALENDAR IN THE ENTRANCE.
The calendar has all dates up to March 11th X'ed out.
After a FADE, a more Xs have been added, up until the 16th of March.
FADE TO:
INT. THE BOTTOM OF THE STAIRS - MORNING
Arthur is walking down the stairs when the phone rings. He runs down the remaining stairs and answers the phone.
ARTHUR said Hello?
BUSTER On Phone) Arthur? Are you still alive? You haven't been at school all week!
ARTHUR said Tell me about it! It's terrible! I haven't eaten any real food since this virus , and I've just been sitting at home!
BUSTER said Well, that doesn't sound so bad.
ARTHUR said It wasn't at first, but it got boring after a few days.
BUSTER said Any idea when you'll be able to eat normal food and go back to school again?
ARTHUR said Actually, we're going to the Doctor's office soon to have them check my ears. Hopefully, they'll tell me that I can eat and go to school again.
BUSTER said That great! Tell me how it goes.
FADE TO:
INT. A HOSPITAL ROOM - DAY
Arthur is sitting on the table in the middle of the room.
Jane, David, Michel and D.W. all sit in chairs in the room.
Dr. Greenberg enters.
DR. Greenberg Hello Arthur! How is your ears holding up?
Arthur It's a lot better than before, it was horrible right after the overnight stay !
DR. Greenberg said Well, let's take a look at it.
Dr. Greenberg examines Arthur's ears. He also does a few general checks, similar to a normal check up. Well Arthur, I would have to say that you are healing very well.
Arthur said So can I go back to school and eat normal food now?
DR. Greenberg said You can go back to school, yes. You can also eat most foods, but I would still say nothing like chips or soda.
Arthur smiles
as the scene fades.
TRANSITION TO:
INT. THE SCHOOL CAFETERIA - DAY
Arthur is back at school, he is sitting in the cafeteria with his normal group.
Arthur has a tray in front of him, on it is a hamburger and a drink.
The scene comes in as Arthur is finishing the telling of his virus tale.
Arthur said So my ears isn't hurting as much, and the doctor said that I can eat anything I want!
Michel said ha nice try Arthur you can eat almost anything,
Buster said So does that mean that you aren't going to give me your food anymore? Because that hamburger looks really good.
Arthur said Sorry Buster, this one's mine!
Arthur takes a bite of his Hamburger as the scene fades.
