Mr. Ratburn said Exciting news, class. Elwood City is celebrating Annie. 70th anniversary in three weeks, and in honor of the occasion we have been chosen out of fifteen schools to stage a musical!
Class said Yeah! Woo-hoo!
Buster said We won! We won! We... Hey, wait! Is there gonna be a big test at the end of all of this?
Mr. Ratburn said No, just a big performance.
Buster said All right! We're doing a musical! Yeah!
Mr. Ratburn said Putting on a show isn't easy, Buster. I remember when I did my one-man Hamlet with puppets in college.
Flashback: A younger Mr. Ratburn performs with a larger-than-life doll.
Mr. Ratburn: "To be or not to be, that is..." The doll's head falls off. ...the end of the show! Good night, everyone! Curtain. Curtain!
The curtain closes.
Audience: (giggle)

Mr. Ratburn: That performance nearly cost me my perfect GPA. A-hem. So, we're all going to have to be very focused. To save time, I've written down all the tasks involved in creating a musical and put them in this hat. You'll choose your role at random!
He holds out a hat full of paper slips.

Francine picks and reads.
Francine Grace But I'm the best singer in the whole class! Why do I get such a small part?
Mr. Ratburn said There are no small parts, Francine, only small actors! beside Grance work for Oliver Warbuck'

Brain picks and reads.

Buster picks and reads.

(Buster) too many caretaker. Title Card:D.W. swings down, tied to the end of a rope, in a fairy costume and uses her wand to make Arthur appear. He does a ta-da pose, but D.W. turns his head into that of a frog. He croaks, and D.W. does a ta-da pose. Popping sounds are heard when she uses her wand.
One evening, D.W. hears Arthur's voice coming from his room.
Arthur said Annie, I love you as if you were my own little girl. I want to adopt you. Would you consider it?
Ashley said It's just that I love my real mother and father so much. I don't know if I could love anybody else.
Arthur said I understand, but if you could find a place in your heart for me...

Arthur and Ashley looks out. D.W. starts daceing in circles in the hallway. Like this! then points at Arthur's clothes. Is that what you're wearing for your costume?

A worker attaches a display board to the Elwood City Community Center. On the Community Center stage, Mr. Ratburn gives Muffy a sign, and she pulls a lever with a ribbon around it. The display board now says " Annie ! A Musical Extravaganza Coming Soon". Around the Center, all the other lights go off. Eventually, so do the lights in the Center itself.
The school band rehearses in the auditorium. Arthur stands on stage while Brain and Mr. Ratburn watch.

In his imagination, the kids argue on stage during the performance, while George lets down the dog robot on a rope, knocking over the cabe . The guest stars in the front row look shocked. Mr. Ratburn's Hamlet doll body falls on stage, followed by its head.
Mr. Ratburn said Curtain! Curtain!
The fantasy ends.
Mr. Ratburn said It could happen all over again!
At the first rehearsal everybody argues.
Muffy said They'll pull themselves together. They just need a little pep talk. May I?
A student hands her a recorder. She blows a shrill note. Everybody is quiet. Muffy climbs on the stage and starts pacing up and down, holding the recorder like a baton. A military drum sounds.
Muffy said We were chosen out of fifteen schools to put on this show. But maybe they were wrong to pick us. Maybe they should have picked Mighty Mountain or Glenbrook. After all, would they be arguing? No, they'd be working together. Something we just can't seem to do.
The kids look embarrassed.
Brain said I did read there was Dog in the Show but...
Buster hugs him.
Buster said Thank you! (through megaphone:) All right, people! Let's take it from the top!
The kids start working together. Mr. Ratburn looks astounded.
Muffy said That should hold them till opening night. Then we're going to need luck and all the candy we can get our hands on!

MR. Ratburn said It's required by the school that students go to the hospital if they break a limb. Remember now, don't move him under any circumstances.
Buster and Francine kneel down to Arthur
Francine said Don't worry, Michael . I'm sure Arthur will be fine no time.
FADE TO:
INT. AN AMBULANCE - DAY
Arthur is laying down in the ambulance with two EMTs around him.
Michael said Is it bad?
EMT #1 said I'm almost sure it's fractured. your Brother Has but To help it stay in place before we get to the hospital, we'll need to make a splint.
Michael said Huh what is that anyways?
EMT #1 said Here, watch. Pad, plastic, and tape.
EMT #2 get some cotton padding, two plastic boards, and a roll of white medical tape. puts some of the padding on Arthur's arm.
EMT #1 said First, we pad your arm with some cotton.
EMT # 2 puts the plastic on both sides of the arm.
EMT #1 said Then, we line of these plastic boards to keep your arm stabilized. He wraps the medical tape around the splint.
EMT #1 said And we keep the whole thing in place with some medical tape. We'll keep it that way until we get to the hospital.
Michel said that wasn't so bad?
FADE TO: The outside of the hospital is shown
as Nurse Brittany Arthur in on a wheeled bed and close the privacy curtain Arthur has a hospital gown on now but his eyes are still close
Nurse Brittany said Now you just stay here, the doctor will be right in. your Friend can stay with you'
Michael said friend i am his twice brother?
Nurse Brittany said whoa you two sure do look alike i will be right outside alright
Arthur slowly wakes up to find himself in a hospital bed.
[Arthur sounds very weak.]
Arthur said Where am I? How did I get here?
[Michael walks closer.]
Michael said the ambulance brought you here don;t worry.
( Jane Read and David Read enter.)
Jane said Oh Arthur, are you Ok?
Arthur said Mom? Dad? What are you doing here?
David said Mr Ratburn called us right after calling the ambulance. Are you alright?
Arthur said I don't know. how this splint get on me? but i want it off
Michael said said Arthur no don;t mess with it please they had to put it on you in the ambulance. it wasn't scary i saw what they did. it was quick
David said Are you in pain?
Arthur said Yes just my head and Arm hurts but i can't feel my left leg.
Dr. Hirsch: enters. the room
Dr. Hirsch said Are you Arthur Read?
Arthur nods his head. a little
Dr. Hirsch said . Please tell me what happened.
Arthur said I was on a Ladder Hung Light when I fall and just awake here?
Dr. Hirsch said I see. We'll need an X-Ray to determine anymore. I'll order one right away.
FADE TO:
INT. THE X-RAY ROOM - DAY
Arthur lies on an examination table with a TECHNICIAN standing nearby.
TECHNICIAN said Alright Arthur, just lie still and this will be over in no time.
The technition puts Arthur's left arm and leg in position. He then walks back behind a wall that has a window in it.
TECHNITION said Here we go, just lie still!
The technician pushes a button and the X-Ray machine clicks and pops for a few seconds.
TECHNITION said Alright, we're all done.
Arthur said That's it?
TECHNITION said Yep, that's it. You go back to bed while I take the X-Rays to the doctor.
FADE TO:
INT. ARTHUR IN A HOSPITAL BED - DAY
Arthur is laying on the bed, Jane and David sitting in chairs around him. The doctor enters, holding the X-Ray.
Dr. Hirsch said well, the good news is no other Bones are broken. The bad news is that one leg has a sprained ankle. he have a torn knee ligament in your other leg. You're going to need an air cast for your ankle, a knee immobilizer,
Arthur has a complete displaced fracture of his forearm. He also appears to have a non-displaced fracture on his wrist. I need to set the bone before putting him in a cast.
David said so The bone really needs to be set?
Dr. Hirsch said Yes. I would recommend regional anesthesia, which numbs part of his body, instead of general anesthesia. While you discuss, I will get the anesthesiologist.
Jane said Arthur, they're going to need to set the bone. That means that they will numb your arm and manually move the bone back how it should be, so that it can heal properly. After, they'll also need another X-Ray.
Arthur said there goes my butler suit.
FADE TO:
INT. ARTHUR IN A HOSPITAL BED - DAY
Arthur is connected to the IV, and the doctor is holding his arm.
Arthur said Wow, I can't even feel my arm!
Dr. Hirsch said Good. This would probably hurt if it weren't for the IV right there. Did it hurt getting the IV?
Arthur said No, it wasn't bad.
The doctor sets the bone, Arthur barely reacting.
Dr. Hirsch said All Done.
Arthur said That's it? It's done?
Dr. Hirsch said Yes. Before we put on two cast, let's take another X-Ray to make sure the arm bone is set correctly.
FADE TO:
INT. THE X-RAY ROOM - DAY
Arthur lies on an examination table in the same position for another X-Ray.
TECHNITION said Ready Arthur?
Arthur said I am ready.
The X-Ray machine clicks and pops for a few seconds.
TECHNITION said All done.
Arthur said That was even faster this time around.
FADE TO:
INT. ARTHUR SITTING ON A HOSPITAL BED - DAY
Arthur is getting a cast put on his arm. The padding has already been applied, and the doctor has a roll of white fiberglass in his hand.
Dr. Hirsch: said Are you ready to get the hard layer on now?
Arthur said Yes.
The doctor wraps the fiberglass around Arthur's arm and wrist, completely covering the padding.
Dr. Hirsch said There you go, Arthur, you're all set. You've been a very good patient. Oh! I almost forgot! produces a sling.
Dr. Hirsch said You'll need to wear this for the first few days.
Arthur takes the sling in his left hand.
Arthur said What's this?
Dr. Hirsch said It's a sling. You wear it around your neck and your arm goes into the pouch. It helps keep your arm raised without having to hold it up all day.
Arthur puts the sling around his neck and places his arm into the pouch.
Dr. Hirsch said Very good! now air cast for your ankle, a knee immobilizer, But, for the next week, you do get this nifty set of wheels.
A nurse brings in a wheelchair.
Arthur said cool'
Michael said okay Arthur is still loopy dad really Cool for a wheelchair'?
David said Michael Please can you watch Arthur we will be right back
in the hallway Dr. Hirsch turns to Jane and David
Dr. Hirsch said The arm is still numb from the IV so he won't feel any pain for a few hours. If he has pain after that, give him of this painKiller medicine.
Jane said Thank you so much, Dr. Hirsch . We really appreciate it.
Dr. Hirsch said is Arthur room is upstairs'?
Jane said yes why'?
Dr Hirsch said look for right now Arthur room would have to be down stairs it would tough for him to climbed the Starie right now
Dr Hirsch writes on a clipboard and tears off a sheet, giving it to David.
Dr. Hirsch said Here's the bill
Jane and David look at each other, clearly shocked at the price of the visit.
Fade TO: INT. THE LIVING ROOM - AFTERNOON
Arthur is sitting on the couch , watching Bionic Bunny. as D.W. enters. room
D.W. said huh when did the living room became your bedroom Arthur! What's on your arm and leg ?
Arthur said I broke it while hang Light at Elwood city theater. I had to go to the hospital and get a cast on it.
D.W. said so Doesn't that mean that you can't do anything now? You don't even have one arms! and Legs

INT. THE READ'S KITCHEN - AFTERNOON
Arthur is sitting at the kitchen table, doing homework.
D.W. enters the kitchen and walks up to Arthur's chair. Still doing homework? I heard that Michel walking Pal did good.
Arthur said It's taking a lot longer to write it with my left hand, but I can still do it just fine! In fact, I'm just about... done!
Arthur triumphantly holds up his homework and puts it close to D.W.
D.W. said Arthur, I can't even read and I know that it's messy.
ARTHUR (Groaning) I'm sure Mr. Ratburn will understand.
(Jane enters the kitchen.)
Jane said Did you finish your homework, sweetie?
Arthur said Yeah, but I think that my writing still needs some work.
(Jane looks at the homework, clearly noticing the writing.)
Jane said Oh, well... I'm sure that your writing will get better. Right now, you should take a bath, it's getting late.

Jane said You don't have to keep your whole body dry, just your cast.

Jane said Here, Michel will help put a bag over the cast and keep it in place with the tape, but you still won't be able to put that arm in the tub.

David said i can still him Up and down the Stairs' ready Arthur Michel well be waiting outside the door for you'?

INT. THE READS' BATHROOM
Arthur is taking a bath with his arm hanging out.
As Arthur grabs a bar of soap, it flies out of his and, into the water. Arthur frowns and retrieves it. It flies out again. Finally, he retrieves it again. When he begins to soap up, it flies out of the tub and onto the floor

Arthur said This is going to take a while to get used to. um Michel can you help with the Sope please

David Read is tucking Arthur in for the night.
David said Arthur, I know living with this cast might be tough, but you've been handling it really good today. The cast will be off in a few weeks. Goodnight.
David walks out of the room, first turning off the light.

Arthur gets his glasses from the nightstand, putting them on. He also puts on his sling
Michael open his Eyes Arthur are you in pain ?

Michael said alright I will get Mom and dad stay put
Int. The second living room Jane and David are straightening the room when David notices Michael.
David said Michael! What are you doing up so late?
Michael said I know Dad but Arthur woke up with his arm hurting really bad, is there anything you can do?
Jane said. The doctor mentioned that this might happen. Michael stay with Arthur I will be in the Living room
Michael said sure Mom
Jane Walk into the kitchen. opens a cabinet and looks around before taking out a bottle of pills. She also opens another cabinet and gets a glass. She fills the glass with water from the tap and walk into the Dan bedroom
Jane hands Arthur the pill. Here, swallow this. The doctor recommended it in case of pain.
Arthur looks at the pill briefly before putting it in his mouth. His mom then hands him the water. He takes a sip and swallows. However, he then removes the pill from his mouth.
Michael said Mom another Pill please
Jane hands him another after taking the glass. Try swallowing a little faster after drinking the water.
Arthur puts the pill in his mouth and puts the glass to his lips. He immediately swallows and begins choking on the water.
Jane puts her hand to her face, concerned about the choking.
At Busters apartment,
Ashley came out of the bathroom in her Jodie-Sunshine princess payama. " Buster Me and Arthur be Working together . He make feel less shy and his voice is better as Michael´s!"
Buster smiles. " Little Smiley, please stop worrying! I am sure Arthur will be back at School in no time alright? Good night !"
Ashley went to her bedroom and put the little tv on, Bitzi bought her. She has 20 minutes to watch a bit before she finally sleeps. She crawled into her bed and switched the channels until she gets the local news channel.

Nurse Alice said Alfresco let see it suppose to be taken with a light snake just keep an Close eye on him for tonight and I will send Dr Hirsch a voicemail and he we'll call you in the Morning
David said Thanks you good night
He turns to Jane and Arthur, as Michael and D.W. entered the room too, the girl stepped back. " Yack, he spilled in that bucket! Ewww!"
David sighs. " D.W., Michael, go back to your beds, okay? It´s just a side effect of the pills! Nothing to worry about! Arthur, tomorrow we see how you feel!"
Arthur nodes, a bit dizzy. es " i mean sure , dad, i need a rest!"
as D.W. stepped over to Arthur and handed him her grey teddy bear. " Arthur, i know you always say you are too old for this, but i think Mr. Fluffington will make you feel more comfortable!" She puts the bear into Arthur´ lefts arms,
he nodes. " This is very nice of you, D.W.!
D.W. Said and i promise, he will watch over you like he watch over me!" D.W. hugs him and ran upstairs,
Michael pats his brothers not injured shoulder. " This time i think it will help! Good night, you will get back to your old self in no time!"

Arthur said Huh, where am I?
D.W. said Oh dear brother, (Is shown with a dress and a loaf of bread.) we are stranded in the middle of a deep, dark forest with only a crust of bread.
Arthur said You can have my half, I'm stuffed.
D.W. said It's not for eating silly, it's for marking a trail so we can get back home, see? (gasp) but some animal has been eating the crumbs and now we're lost!
(Ashley's walking on the trail, eating the bread crumbs.)
Ashley said Mmm, bread.
Arthur said Let's walk a little further into the forest. (they walk onto a path.) Maybe we'll find a nice stranger who will help us. Boy, I'm tired of these leather shorts. I may look cute but I'm freezing.
D.W. said Me too. All I get is this dress with lace trim. It's like wearing a tablecloth. I'm freezing!
(Some time later, Arthur and D.W. are still walking through the forest, while many eyes peep out at them.)
D.W. said Great, now we're even more lost. We'll probably be eaten by blood-sucking beavers. Any more bright ideas?

Arthur said This is no ordinary house. There are chocolate chips on the walls, and the windows are made of fruit rolls!
D.W. said Hey, look what's in the mailbox. Junk food mail. (She bites into a round taco with a stamp on it.) Mm, spicy nacho flavor. Must be a letter from Mexico.

Saleswoman said Semi-sweet chocolate cookware. It's a cinch to clean! (She eats a frying pan.)
Arthur, D.W., and the witch are walking together.
Arthur said Ugh, the sight of all this candy is making me sick. Can we go home now?
Witch said Right after I buy a new oven. (She takes a measuring tape out of her head and measures Arthur.) Let's see, you look like you're a medium.
(She walks into the store "Kitchen.)
Arthur + D.W. said Let us out! Let us out!
(Arthur and D.W. are trapped in a candy cane jail cell in the witch's house.)
Witch said Oh I will, as soon as the oven heats up. (is chopping carrots.) Now, where did I put those cloves? (walks away.)
D.W. said Arthur, the bars on the cell are candy canes. We can lick our way out.
(D.W. licks the bar. Arthur's stomach grumbles.)
Arthur said I can't, I'm too full.
(The witch walks back in.)
Witch said We're ready! (Opens oven.)
(Tommy reimagined as Tommy and Timmy push the witch in the oven, and close the oven door.)
Witch said Ah! I'm melting! I'm melting!
(One of the dwarfs runs up to the keys.)
D.W. said Tommy and Timmy, you saved us!
Tommy said I'm not Tommy, I'm Pesky. (Unlocks cell.) And these are my brothers.
(Six dwarfs are lined up.)
Tommy said Whiny, Grouchy, Angry, Noisy, Creepy and Stinky.
All of the dwarfs: And you're our princess, Doe White!
(They each point at her one by one.)
D.W. said I'm not Doe White, I'm D.W.. The D stands for Dora, and the W stands for Winifred.
(All of the dwarfs run up to D.W. and carry her away.)
All the dwarfs: You must come with us Princess, it is nap time!
D.W. yelling) No, put me down! Arthur, go to Grandma's. Get help!
(Arthur leaves.)
(Arthur, still dressed as Hansel. runs past the normal looking Sugar Bowl. Binky is there eating ice-cream.)
Binky laughs) Nice pants, Arthur! Where's the flood? (laughs)
Arthur said oh I gotta find something else to wear.
(Arthur finds a red cape on a bench by the Sugar Bowl.)
Arthur said A cape! This'll do! (puts it on.)
Binky laughs) That's even better! Who are you? Super Doofus?
(Arthur pulls the cape's hood over his head.)
(Arthur rings Thora's doorbell. He now looks like Little Red Riding Hood.)
Thora said Come in.
(Arthur opens the door. Thora lies in bed, looking like a wedding cake with glasses and grey hair.)
Thora said You'll have to excuse my appearance, I've been a little under the weather.
Arthur said Grandma, what creamy skin you have.
Thora said It's my new moisturizer.
Arthur said And what frosty hair you have, and what dark, chocolaty eyes.
Thora saying stands up) The better to be eaten by you!
(Thora jumps in Arthur's mouth, causing him to swell up in weight as his belly bulges visibly from under his shirt, his bellybutton now an outie and his face rounder, with chubby cheeks. Arthur then gulps, moans, stumbles on the ground and falls onto the floor with a thud.)
(D.W. walks in the door as Arthur begins to rub his swollen stomach.)
D.W. said Arthur Read, did you eat Grandma?
Arthur said It wasn't Grandma, it was that wedding cake.
D.W. said I've heard that one before. Sheesh! I spent my day cleaning and cooking for the Tibbles, and this is what I find. I'm telling Mom and Dad!
(Buster appears as the woodcutter.)
Buster said Don't worry little girl, it is I, Buster the woodcutter. I'll have your grandma out of him in a jiffy.
(He advances on Arthur with his axe. Arthur backs away.)
Arthur said Buster It's me, Arthur!
Buster said No, it isn't! You're a grandma-eating wolf disguised as Arthur. Or maybe you're a grandma-eating alien disguised as a wolf disguised as Arthur. (lifts axe) Either way...
(Arthur gasps and wakes up from his dream.)
Arthur: yelled No!
Jane said Are you alright, Arthur? Did you have a nightmare? it's after. 2'am
Arthur said My stomach really hurts. now
Jane said this well be one long Moring have you try to go?
"No" Arthur responded weakly.
"Can you try?" she asked.
"Why?" Arthur asked
"Cuz, maybe if you empty your load, you'll feel better" Jane suggested.
"I don't wanna right now. I want to stay here with you I don't want to awake Dad Arthur gave a weak chuckle.
You can lay down after Come Jane said we have a Bathroom down staire
She carried him to the downstairs bathroom.
"But I don't have to" Arthur told her as she set him down near the door.
"Just try" Jane replied. I will be right here in the Kitchen waiting Alright
Arthur shrugged and went in, closing the door behind him. Hopefully Dad doesn't awake

Jane could hear from the outside.
"Arthur, are you okay?" Jane asked him.
There was no answer at first; Arthur was too embarrassed and in pain.
"Um, y-yeah" he finally responded.
Jane could hear pain in his voice after the delayed response.
About ten minutes later, Arthur came out of the bathroom.
"You alright,s?" Jane asked. it is already 5'15'am
Arthur nodded and held up his arms for her to pick him up.
She carried him to bed.

INT. MR. RATBURN'S CLASS - MORNING
Everyone in the class is sitting at their desk while Mr.
Ratburn is lecturing. The bell rings.
MR. RATBURN
Alright everyone, please bring up your homework on your way out.
Everyone begins to shuffle out, handing their homework to Mr. Ratburn while walking. Arthur does the same, talking to Buster.
MR. RATBURN said Arthur, can you stay here for a moment?
Arthur looks at Buster before Buster leaves. Mr. Ratburn and Arthur are alone.
MR. RATBURN said Arthur, did you do this homework with your left hand?
Arthur said Yeah, can you tell?
MR. RATBURN said I'm not sure I can tell if it's homework.
Arthur said Sorry Mr. Ratburn, I guess I just need some more practice.
MR. RATBURN said Well, I think that instead of making you write with your left hand, I could make an exception to the usual homework policy.
Arthurs said Huh?
MR. RATBURN said If you can find a family member to recite your homework to orally and get them to sign a note saying that you did it, I will take that instead of written homework. How does that sound?

Arthur is sitting with his friends.

Arthurs said It was hurting last night, and it's kind of tough to do things with, but I'm getting used to it.
FRANCINE said So I guess you won't be able to in the Show?
Arthurs said No, I will be able to play daddy Warbuck in fact me and Ashley are working on together at last in the Music room after lunch and besides . The doctor said that it should be off in a few weeks.
Busters said Great! but uh Arthur the show is tomorrow night'

David and Jane entered the room, Davide looks around. " Boys, time to go for the school play...Arthur? Uhm... " Arthur interrupts. " Dad, i ' m better for the play, please! Ashley won´t go on stage without me and we can´t let Mr. Ratburn down!"

At the School auditorium...
Francine and Muffy stood in front of Ashley´s dressing room. The rabbit-girl doesn't want to come out and cries loud.

Suddenly Arthur appears in his wheelchair and his costume, beside Buster and Michael, the two girls widen their eyes.

The audience applause and cheered, the kids on the stage bow and waved, Mr. Ratburn stood beside the curtain and smiles. When Arthur looks over, the teacher thumbs up. Then the curtain falls, Ashley stood alone in the front and laughs and waves. Buster´s mom stood up and waved her happily.
Then Ashley came back behind the curtain, she hugs Arthur, Muffy and Michael. " This was so great!"
She looks to Arthur. " Uhm Arthur, you are like a big brother for me, beside Buster! And i thank you for that!" She looks around. " I thank you all to be my friends after what happened to mom and this time i had!" A little tear left her eye, Buster fondles her hair. " All is fine, little Smiley!" The others laughed when Mr. Ratburn came over. " Congratulations, this was amazing! I´m very proud of you!" The kids laughed and cheered. " THANK YOU MR. RATBURN!"
Then a man came behind the curtain, Mr. Ratburn gulps. " Mr. Jack, uhm, hello!" The other man smiles and shook his hand. " Mr. Ratburn, this was awesome! Mirelle is still impressed, as Yura is too! Youé students were so fantastic on the stage! Your school was the right choice to perform this!" He puts out a card of his pocket and handed i over to Mr. Ratburn. " When your school theater group needs anything, call me! And now, i guess you wanna celebrate this!" He waves to the kids and left the stage, now they all jumped up and down and cheered, hugging each other. Mr. Ratburn smiles. " Well, ahem, you, you kids are great! Im proud to be your teacher!" His eyes get a bit wet and he turned around to hide it embarrassed. Ashley walked over to Jesse and hugs him, kissing him on the cheek. The boy blushes, the rabbit-girl giggles. " Jesse, what you would say we go for a very big chocolate milkshake?" The boys scratches his head. " Well, okay, yes, sure, lets go!" Ashley looks over to Buster. " We must top at the ice cream parlor to get some ice!" Buster looks over to Arthur, Michael, Francine and Muffy. " Good idea, are you with us?"
Arthur sighs. " I must get up early for the doctor visit!"

The next morning

INT. A DOCTOR'S OFFICE - MORNING
Arthur is sitting on the table, Jane and David sitting, Michel and D.W. standing around.
D.W. said How long are we going to have to wait here?
Jane said It'll just a little longer, D.W.
Arthur said we been hour for a hour and I am tired
Michael said you read my mind Arthur.
Dr Hirsch enters the room. Arthur! I see you've come to get your cast off!
David said Thanks for being able to see us, I think Arthur's more than ready to get his cast off.
Dr Hirsch Yes, I'm sure he is. The entire process will be very quick, so he will be able to enjoy his arm once again. walks over to a cabinet and retrieves a cast removing saw.
Dr. Hirsch said We will use this saw to remove the cast.
D.W. said Neat! It's alright if you cut his arm too!
Jane said D.W.!
Dr Hirsch said Not to worry, Arthur. This saw is meant to remove casts, it cannot cut your skin. It is very dull and vibrates very fast.
Arthur said You're sure it can't cut me?
Dr Hirsch Positive. Are you ready?
Arthur said Sure!
The doctor turns on the saw and removes the cast. He peels off all of the materials.
Arthur lifts his arm and bends it a bit.
Dr Hirsch How does it feel, Arthur?
Arthur Kinda odd, it also looks different too.
Dr Hirsch said That's because it's been in the cast so long. Some of the muscles have gotten smaller. But don't worry, Arthur. The arm will be up to 100% in a couple of weeks. now let see about your Left Leg alright i will used the saw again

Arthur lifts his left leg and bends it a bit.
Dr Hirsch How does it feel, Arthur?

Monday morning in Lakewood Elementary...
Arthur enters the schoolyard, Michael and Francine beside him. Buster and Ashley saw him and ran over, laughing.
The two rabbits hug him, Buster grins. " Hey hey, see who's back in town! The hero of the school play!"
Ashley nodes. " Hey, you got the cast off your arm. Seems it is back to normal, but it looks a bit smaller than before."
Arthur shrugs. " Ah, nothing to bad, the muscles will come back in short time."
Ashley looks around, then she smiles and waves. " Hey, there´s Jesse, we have a class together now! C ya later!" She ran off to the lynx-boy, hugs him and both entered the came over to Buster, Arthur, Michael and Francine.
She looks after Ashley and Jesse with a smile. " Looks like it gets serious, Buster! I hear some wedding bells!" She and Francine giggled.
Buster sighs annoyed. " Ha, ha! Not funny! You know what, mom invited him for Saturday to dinner and his parents invited Ashley for sunday to lunch! Oh brother!" He facepalms.
Muffy shook her head with a laughter. " Well, Jesse is a good guy, so no worries Buster! Ashley has a good boyfriend!"
The schoolfellow rings, Arthur waves to the others. " Lets go inside, and no worry, i practiced to write with my left hand, guys!" When they enter, a group of third-rate passed them, running and joking.
When the group the last step to the door, one of them, a weasel-boy, slipped and felt down all over the stairs. His friends stop and ran down to him, even Arthur and his friends did so. The weasel-boy who felt down, holds his ankle in pain. " OUCH!" A teacher came over, Ms. Wellington, she kneels down and examines the leg. " Oh Terry," She said. " Seems you broke your ankle!" The boys gasps. " Oh no, what now?" Arthur looks over to his friends, then he turned to the boy. " No worries, you get a cast around the ankle and stay home a while, then it heals and all is like before!"
The boy frowns, then he grins. " Staying home for some time? Cool, i have a new videogame, won´t be so bad!" He laughs when his friends helped him to stand up, Ms. Wellington shook amused her head. The other kids started laughing too while they entered the school.
Arthur turned around. " You see, It's not that bad when you got a injured limb, the doctors can help you and you can take a rest from busy school time!"
Francine giggles and smiles evilish. " But watch out for the doctor´s saw when he cut the cast, maybe he cuts too deep!"
Muffy looks annoyed over. " FRANCINE!"
