Caulifla and Kale: What If Chapter Four- "Saiyans Tails?"
Space, Elites Spaceship (Present Day)
In this elite ship, the Saiyans are working hour after hour. They seem to be having a good time. Before I go further into the story, I have to give you information about the tails that every Saiyan has on their tail bone ends. They are the ancient DNA parts from the earlier times on Sadala, the planet of the Saiyans. After a few million years, the tails disappeared, never to come back again. Until!...the sectorians figured out how to revive the tails back to the Saiyans. Now, they have tails and are learning how to learn more about their heritage. Back to the story (Thanks for listening!), we come into the control room, where the leader of the ship is controlling it. The captain of the SDF elites, Renso, is making sure that the ship is working fine. Well, until a huge explosion occurs in the training room. "Ugh! Not again! Cabba! Limo! Come into the controls room, now!" said Renso, as he grabs the microphone, makes the call to the two soldiers and squeezes the bridge part of his nose in frustration. It takes the soldiers five minutes to get to the controls room. Cabba is the soldier with the blue outfit, while Limo is the large soldier with the yellow outfit. Renso sees them and tells them to check the training room. After the orders, the soldiers leave the controls room and walk to the training room to check the unexpected explosion.
Elites Spaceship, Hallways (Five minutes later)
Cabba: (Looks at Limo) So...how are you doing there?
Limo: (Looks at Cabba with a worried expression) Not too good. Ever since I laid eyes on her, my tail has been acting weird. (Looks at his tail shaking violently) It has a mind of its own!
Cabba: It's fine. That happens, when you start to feel strong emotions. It's best to wrap the tail around your waist.
Limo: I tried that, but my waist is too big for my tail to wrap around. (Looks away)
Cabba: Just...Hum...how do you solve this one? (Rubs his chin, before hearing another explosion) What the-
Soldier #1: (Runs out of the training room) AHHH! That woman is crazy! AHHH! (Runs past Cabba and Limo)
Cabba: (Sighs) It's her again. Renso should have given them missions, but no! They're not soldiers on this ship! (Walks into the training room) Caulifla!?
Caulifla: (Shoots another bot with her energy blast) Hah! (Looks at Cabba and Limo) What skinny ass and fat ass?!
Cabba: Caulifla…(Walks up to Caulifla) You need to be more careful about training here. Exploding the bots will make the ship more unstable. Renso is getting irritated about you doing that for the second time this week.
Caulifla: (Grunts, while crossing her arms) Why!? He forced us to come on this trip because I stole his money and the only punishment that was suitable at that time was me being on here! (Points at Kale) Kale doesn't even want to be here! Right, Kale!?
Kale: (Shyly looks at Caulifla, Cabba, and Limo) Oh! Y-Yes.
Cabba: Just go back to your rooms and do nothing! It's best and safe that you do that. Okay?
Caulifla: (Grabs Cabba by the throat with her tail) I will do whatever I wish to do! Don't order me around, or that neck of yours is next to be crushed!
Cabba: (Gulps) Uh...O-Okay! Just let go of me!
Caulifla: (Lets go of Cabba and leaves the training room) Come, Kale! We're done here!
Kale: Coming! (Walks after Caulifla, before taking a look at Limo) Uh…(Blushes, before leaving)
Limo: (tails begin to shake violently and point at Kale) Huh? Wah! (Holds onto his tail) Stop doing that! I swear this tail is crazy!
Cabba: (He'll figure that one out later)
After settling the situation at the training room, Cabba and Limo went back to their business. Limo still has a problem with his tail. He still remembers the first time it happened. It happened two weeks before they left Sadala. He saw Kale and Caulifla on the ship with their normal clothes on. He and Cabba were asked to escort them into the ship and give them a tour. Throughout the tour, Caulifla was mocking Cabba, while Kale shyly looked away from him. Except for Limo. She kept looking at him for a long time, until...she saw his tail pointing at her. She blushed, while her tail did the same thing. Both of them were embarrassed of seeing their tails act like that. After that moment. Limo hasn't been able to control his tail for the past two weeks. He's now in the science lab, aiding Janet, the sectorian scientist on the ship. She fully understands Limo's problem, but can't find the right moment to tell him the truth behind his tail. After work is done, she and Limo are eating lunch in the middle of the lab. She tells him about the tail's reactions to the user's emotions. "I've also heard that once in their great ape forms, they're able to communicate through their minds. That way, they don't attack each other and never have to do crazy things. I don't know where that occurred, but it happened!" said Janet as she smiles at Limo. He thought real hard about what Janet said to him, but that doesn't describe his problems with "his" tail. She later explains that talking to the girl that he likes would be the best solution. Limo hears this, blushes, and says that it might be a bad idea. Janet said it will work. "Just be yourself and she'll accept you for who you are," said Janet. Limo understands the message. After lunch is over, Limo walks out of the lab and to Kale's room for a short talk.
Elites Spaceship, Kale's Room (Thirteen Minutes Later)
Kale: (Reads a book called "How to Control Your Tail") `"After becoming the great ape and not losing your cool, go to some nearby river to see your reflection. That way, you can tell if the process has worked" This doesn't explain why my tail shakes, whenever Limo is around.
(Door Knocks)
Kale: Huh? Someone is here? Uh…(Gets off of the bed, walks to the door, and opens it) Oh! L-Limo!
Limo: (Looks down to see Kale, blushes) Uh...Hi K-Kale. How are you doing?
Kale: I'm doing fine. So...Why are you doing here?
Limo: Uh...I'm here to tell you something important. It's about our tails. Ever since I laid eyes on you, my tail's been acting weird. I don't know why, but...after talking to Cabba and Janet,...(Looks away)
Kale: What?
Limo: I-I might have a...relationship with you. (Blushes harder)
Kale: (Blushes) R-Relationship?
Limo: Of course. (Looks at Kale with blushed cheeks) If you don't mind. I would like to hang out with you some more. (Smiles)
Kale: (Hang out? Is this what Caulifla meant? That I have to talk to Limo for a while?) Um...I guess we could- (The ship shakes) WAH!
Limo: Whoa! What's going on!?
Renso: (On speakers) The ship is being attacked! All soldiers and non-soldiers evacuate the ship!
Kale: We're being attacked?!
Limo: Come on! I know of a nearby escape pod that will get us out of here! (Grabs Kale's arm and runs out of her room) (I can't believe that I have to save her and not get killed by whoever is attacking us! This wasn't part of the plan!)
Kale: (Sees Limo holding her arm) (He's holding my arm! This wasn't part of the plan either! How are we going to get out of this)
Limo: (Sees the escape pods) There it is! Let's go!
(Kale and Limo jump into the escape pod and leave the ship)
Caulifla: Kale! Where are you!? We need to get out of here! KALE!
Cabba: Caulifla! Why are you still doing here!? We have to get out of the ship!
Caulifla: (Looks at Cabba with an angry expression) I can't leave without Kale!
Cabba: Oh! To Hell with this! (Grabs Caulifla's hand and runs into a nearby escape pod) We're going!
Caulifla: NO! KALE!
Within about five to seven minutes, the ship explodes. Most of the soldiers escaped in time but lost a few who didn't make it to the other pods. In Kale and Limo's pod, they're red in the face, after nearly escaping a fiery death. Kale is surprised that LImo was able to save them. She would like to thank him, but she's so close to his face, that she can't find the words to say it. The same goes for Limo, who's blushing so hard that he can't think straight. He's thinking of what would have happened if that attack didn't happen. Wouldn't he say that Kale is in love with him? The pod tells the Saiyans that they'll be landing near a planet so that they'll be safe for the time being. Back to Caulifla and Cabba, they're arguing on how it was stupid for them to escape, before knowing if Kale or Limo were safe. Cabba says to Caulifla that they're safe and are on another planet. Caulifla yells at Cabba, saying that Kale is too weak to be alone without her. With no way out of the pod, she and Cabba travel through space in silence. Cabba does want to make sure that Kale or Limo is safe, but the communicators were in the ship before it got exploded, so there's no point in making that. His tail begins to shake violently towards Caulifla. He sees this and quickly grabs it before Caulifla sees it. "This shouldn't be happening! Why is it- Wait a minute...do I have a relationship with Caulifla!?" are Cabba's thoughts, before seeing a planet in front of the pod. They should be there in a matter of minutes. Hopes that they find their friends there.
Unknown Planet, Deserted Area (Twenty Minutes Later)
After landing in this deserted area, Kale and Limo leave the ship. Limo looks around the area, thinking that they might be on a deserted planet or an area on a populated planet. Kale isn't about where they are. She instead is looking for Caulifla on the planet. She didn't have time to think about her, until getting out of the pod. She says to Limo that they need to split up and look for either Caulifla or Cabba on the planet. He agreed and the two went in opposite directions. Limo goes right, while Kale does leave, in search of their friends. This makes them a few hours, making the sky turn dark. It's nighttime. Limo is starting to feel tired from walking around the right side of the area, looking for Cabba. He sits on a tree stump, looks up at the moon, and thinks of what his relationship with Kale will be like.
Limo: (Maybe...Kale will be happier when our love is more connected. I think that will scare her a bit before I say something more simple. What am I thinking about? She's not going to like this! I'm a bigger, fatter Saiyan than the rest of the soldiers and I don't have the fighting experience of one! How am I supposed to be in love with a shy girl like Kale?!)
(A roar from the distance)
Limo: (Looks around the area) What? Where did that roar come from? I hope that Kale is alright. I don't want her to get hurt there. (Looks at the moon) I wonder why we can't look at the moon. Janet said that looking at it will activate something, but I don't feel anythin- (Eyes widen, pupils dilated, and heartbeats faster) Ah! AH! AH! AH! AAAAAAHHHHHHH! (Eyes turn red, fur starts to grow, and height begins to increase) (WHAT'S HAPPENING TO ME!?)
(Five to Seven Minutes Later…)
Limo: (Wakes up) (Ugh...What happened?) (Gets up and looks around the area) (What happened to the mountains? They seem smaller than last time.) (Looks at his hands) (What the- My hands! They have fur!) (Looks at his HUGE stomach) (My stomach! It's a lot rounder than ever! Wait! Janet did say that great apes are larger versions of ourselves. That means...Looking at the moon transforms you into this! Kale...She's still out there. She went left to look for her friend. How am I supposed to tell her that looking at the moon is dangerous when I don't know how to talk in this form yet!? I'll figure that out later! I have to get to her first, and then try to communicate with her.) (Walks left) (Whoa! Walking in this form is a lot slower. I better take my time and not go overboard in this form)
Limo, in his great ape form, walks left to get to Kale. Meanwhile. Cabba and Caulifla are on the same planet that Kale and Limo are currently on. They're also trying to look for them, nearly all night. Cabba is frustrated about not having the tools to find them. Caulifla is even more frustrated than Cabba in that she punches a tree and knocks it down. "We'll never find them in here! Where the hell are they!? KALE! CAN YOU HEAR ME!?" said Caulifla. Cabba isn't focused on looking for the two but is thinking about why his tail shook, while in the pod. "Maybe I do have a relationship with Caulifla. But how!? I've been with her for the past two weeks! That can't be possible to have a quick relationship!" are Cabba's thoughts, before hearing a couple of roars from the distance. Caulifla hears them, too, thinking that monsters are nearby. Before getting prepared for the fight, Caulifla looks at the moon. She gets distracted by how the moon looks, and her body starts to go through some changes. Her heartbeat goes faster, her eyes dilute, her body starts to grow, along with some fur around her skin. Cabba sees this, thinking that looking at the moon, grants the user the ability to transform into a great ape. He has to make one choice: Cut off Caulifla's tail, or transform into a great ape, so that she doesn't go out of control. Cabba goes with the second idea since the first one will take a while to get to it. He looks at the moon and screams in pain. Back to Limo, He's near a river or pond. He first looks for Kale around this area but doesn't. He later looks at the water itself and is surprised by how he looks in this form. His hairstyle is still the same, but his face is ape-like. His clothes stay on because Janet made these elastic uniforms for him, Cabba, and the girls. He hears the same roar from before, causing him to look away from the water. "Is it near the area? Is Kale still here? I have to make sure that I can still talk in this form." are Limo's thoughts, before calling out Kale's name. "KALE!" said Limo in his great ape form. He doesn't hear anything, besides the roaring. The trees from the forest begin to shake and move from side to side. Limo shakes in fear, thinking that calling out Kale's name drove the creature to his spot. He gets into his fighting position, ready to fight the creature. When the creature does come out of the forest, its appearance shocks Limo to the point of lowering his guard. "Wait! Red T-shirt, red mini-skirt, black shorts, golden bracelets and boots, one bang over its head? Is that...Kale?" Are Limo's thoughts, before the creature roars in front of him. He slowly walks to "Kale" and holds out his arms in front of him.
Limo: (Kale! Is that you? Can you hear me? Kale?)
?: (Tilts its head) …
Limo: (Maybe...She needs a clue. Something that will get her to know that I'm Limo. But what?) (Looks at his tail, vibrates, and points at "Kale") WHA! (Holds onto his tail) (What's it doing!? I thought that it stopped!)
?: L-LIMO!?
Limo: (Looks at the creature) (Wait! She recognized me?)
?: LIMO! (Puts its hand on its chest) KALE! (Smiles, while blushing)
Limo: (It is her!) (Hugs Kale) (It's so nice to see you again! But...You're in your great ape form. Can you hear me in here? I know that I can barely speak in this form, but…)
Kale: (Looks at Limo) (I can hear you. It all happened, when I was lying on the ground, taking a break from looking for Caulifla. I looked at the moon and...all of a sudden, I...transformed into this! I feel bloated in this form. How is this a normal thing for us now!?) (Makes a scared expression)
Limo: (Smiles at Kale) (I think that this is what our ancestors were when they looked at the full moon. Now we need to find a way to get out of these forms and find Cabba and Cauli-) (Hears some roars) (What was that!?)
Kale: (Senses something coming in their direction) (Something is coming towards us! We need to get ready!) (Gets into fighting position)
Kale and Limo get into fighting positions, ready to fight the monsters in the forest area. Once the monsters come out of the forest, their appearances make Limo pause for a moment. One monster looks like them, but has a pink tube shirt on its chest and has purple pants on. The other one has some Saiyan armor on like Limo has on, but his outfit is blue under its armor. The hairstyles are similar to Caulifla and Cabba, resulting in Limo stopping Kale from attacking them. "Kale! That's Caulifla and Cabba! They're in their great ape forms!" Are Limo's thoughts, before calling out their names, just to be sure that the monsters are them. One of the monsters in the armor says Cabba's name, while the other monster raises its eyebrow. "KALE! IT'S ME, CAULIFLA!" said the monster in the pink tube shirt and purple pants. Kale's eyes widen after the monster speaks in front of her. She can't hold in her emotions anymore. She starts to cry, opens her arms out, and charges at the one with the pink shirt and purple pants. "CAULIFLA! YOU'RE ALIVE!" said Kale as she hugs Caulifla in her great ape form. Caulifla is embarrassed to be hugged in this form, but she hugs Kale. she's glad that she's fine. Cabba walks up to Limo, says in his voice that they were trying to talk to them for a while. Limo is shocked to see Cabba talking in his great ape form perfectly, instead of using his "telepathy" to communicate with him. Cabba also says that the form will only fade when the moon is completely gone. "SO WE HAVE TO BE IN THIS AREA IN THESE FORMS UNTIL THE MOON IS GONE. ALRIGHT?" said Cabba, before getting hit in the back of his head, by Caulifla.
Caulifla: (grunts) YOU IDIOT! YOU FORGOT TO TELL ME ABOUT THAT! AND WHAT' UP WITH THAT TAIL OF YOURS!? IT KEEPS POINTING AT ME!
Cabba: (rubs the back of his head, while looking at Caulifla) I'M SORRY, CAULIFLA, BUT IT'S THE ONLY WAY FOR US TO GO BACK TO NORMAL. (Grabs his tail) PLUS,...I THINK THAT I HAVE C-CRUSH ON YOU. (Blushes)
Caulifla: (Blushes, while her tail shakes violently and points at Cabba) WAH! WHAT THE HELL!? (Grabs her tail)
Kale: HAHAHAHA! (Points at Caulifla) THAT'S FUNNY!
Caulifla: (Looks at Kale with blushed cheeks) IT'S NOT FUNNY!
Limo: HAH HAHAHA! IT KIND OF IS! I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM AND CABBA WAS THE ONE WHO TOLD ME TO TALK TO KALE! HAHAHAHAHA!
Cabba: (Blushes, while looking at Limo) CAN WE NOT!? WE HAVE TO GO BACK TO NORMAL AND FIND THE REST OF THE MEMBERS FROM THE SHIP!
Caulifla: (Makes an angry expression) GOOD! BECAUSE ONCE WE'RE BACK TO NORMAL, I'M GOING TO WRING YOUR NECK WITH MY TAIL! COME OVER HERE! (Runs after Cabba)
Kale: (Looks at Limo) (I think that talking to Limo was the best decision that I ever made in my life. Thanks. Caulifla. Now you have to talk to him. (Watches Caulifla chase Cabba around)
Limo: (Looks at Kale) (Janet and Cabba are right about talking to Kale. I think that me and she are going to be fine together.) (Watches Caulifla chase Cabba) (Now...how are they going to accept their love, if Caulifla is a rough female Saiyan, while Cabba is one of the nicest Saiyans on Sadala? We'll never know.)
This goes on for the next five hours before the four Saiyans in great ape forms lay on the ground asleep. It was a wild night to bear, but it was a "romantic" one for them. Morning has arrived and the sun is up. Limo is the first to wake up. When he does wake up, he notices that his body is back to normal size. He looks around on his body to make sure that he's not furry or much fatter than ever. "I'm back to normal! Huh?" said Limo as he looks on his right, seeing Kale hugging his soft side. He blushes, after seeing that. Kale wakes up from Limo's talk and sees herself hugging him. She quickly gets off of him, blushes for a while, and notices that she, Cabba, and Caulifla are back to normal. She also sees that Caulifla's tail is touching Cabba's tail. "That's weird. Should I tell her that her tail is doing that to Cabba's tail?" said Kale, before Limo jumps in and says not to tell them. "They...need to figure things out for themselves," said Limo as he sees a ship heading towards them. It's Renso and the rest of the surviving soldiers, ready to come and save them. Kale and Limo wake up Cauilfla and Cabba and see the ship coming to the area. They're saved and they discover love. And that all happened through the use of their tails.
