Caulifla and Kale What If Chapter Six: "Body Swapping?"
Planet Sadala, Caulifla's Hideout (One Month after the tournament of power)
After the tournament of power, the three Saiyans went back to their normal routines. Caulifla and Kale are eager to be as strong as Goku is. In order to train to become Super Saiyan Three, they have to be more accurate in their training routine. They would train at least three hours on their own, before having a close fight together. Cabba would occasionally come in and fight with the girls. Over a month has passed and everything seems to be fine, except for one person. After training with Caulifla, Kale goes back to her room for some rest. She wipes the sweat off of her head, goes to her closet for some clothes to switch out of in the shower, and lays on her bed. She's tired from training so hard with Caulifla. The pass for times by herself was a good blast to enjoy, but when Caulifla, Kale's sister in arms came in, it began to tire her out a bit. She is stronger than Caulifla, but training on a daily basis is just tiring. "Ugh...I wish that I was in Caulifla's shoes for just one day. That way, I can be more relaxed and chilled out than her. It's always been a dream to think of what Caulifla does on a daily basis. Besides training." said Kale, before a shining light occurs in her room. It blinds the Saiyan girl for a few seconds until a voice comes in. "Your wish is granted!" said the mysterious voice as it waves some kind of wand into the air. Sparkles galore are sprinkled into the room, causing Kale to feel something off. She doesn't have time to react to what's going on, as her body becomes lifeless and she falls into a deep, deep sleep.
Three to Five Minutes Later…
Kale: (Ugh...What happened to me? The last time I saw a bright light, heard a woman's voice saying that my wish had been granted, and...that was it. I blacked out for a couple of minutes. I better talk to Caulifla about this.) (Opens her eyes) Huh? This is her room. Why am I-
Thug: (Knocks on Caulifla's door) Boss! Are you still awake?
Kale: Boss? Wait at min- (rubs her neck) Why does my voice sound a lot more like- (gets off of the bed and walks to a nearby wall mirror) What!? (Sees Caulifla's reflection) I'm Caulifla!
Thug: Boss?! Can I come in!?
Caulifla[Kale]: What just happened?! How am I in Caulifla's body? This must be a dream or something! (Closes her eyes) If I'm in her room, then...is she in my…(Shakes her head and looks at the mirror with a nervous expression) No! This can't be happening! I wished to be in her shoes, but not literally!
Thug: BOSS!
Caulifla[Kale]: Coming! (Runs to the door and opens it) Oh! Sorry for being in there for so long. So...What do you need? Hehehe! (Nervously smiles)
Thug: Uh…(Shakes his head) I need to know if we can steal some more meat for the kitchen. Don't want you to starve yourself to death.
Caulifla[Kale]: (Stomach growls) Oh! That's right. Uh...Right! I'll allow it. Here! (gives the thugs some money) Here's some money to buy the meat. I think that stealing is the wrong thing to do. Don't you think?
Thug: Uh…(Looks at the money, before looking back at Caulifla)
Caulifla[Kale]: (Puts her fist into her hand) If you don't say the right word, then I'll give you another treat!
Thug: O-Okay! W-We'll buy the meat, instead of stealing it. See ya later, boss! (Leaves the area)
Caulifla[Kale]: Whoa! I can't believe that it worked! (Looks at her hands with a smile) I guess that light from before isn't fake! I'm really Caulifla! Hahaha!
Kale, now in Caulifla's body, is happy that she got her to wish granted somehow. She leaves her room to get something to eat. Meanwhile, from Kale's room, her body starts to move a bit on her bed. She finally wakes up, noticing that her room looks different. "What in the- Wait! Why is my voice sound a lot more like-" said Kale as she got off of her bed and looked at a hand mirror. "AHHH! I'm Kale!? How is this possible!? Last time I was in my room, taking a nap!" said Caulifla, now in Kale's body. She hears her door knock, hearing a thug from behind it. He tells her if she's fine. "Uh...I'm fine!" said Caulifla, as she tries to figure out what's going on. She has to know what happened to her a couple of minutes ago. The thugs keep knocking on her door, asking if she's hungry or not. Caulifla gets irritated and yells at the thug behind the door to go away. "Before I shove a rock up to your ass!" said Caulifla. This causes the thug to leave with a confusing look on his face. That's the first time that Kale ever yelled at him. The only one to do that in the hideout is Caulifla. Speaking of "Caulifla", Kale is having a good time being her for a while. She's in the kitchen, getting as many meat sticks as she can. The thugs treat her with respect and allow her to as she tells them to do. "I want you to...clean my room! It's a bit dirty and I need it to be more organized!" said Kale in Caulifla's body. The thugs understood the order and immediately went upstairs to clean her room. She always wanted to say that, because Caulifla's room is a mess. After eating a few meat sticks, Kale is sitting on the couch, watching some tv. Caulifla, coming from downstairs, sees her own body watching tv. She's finally getting to the point of things. "Did me and Kale...swapped bodies!?" whispered Caulifla as she now understands the problem. She runs to the couch, jumps on it, and looks at her own body, who Kale has control of.
Kale[Caulifla]: Kale! What the hell happened?!
Caulifla[Kale]: Oh! It seems that the wish did the same thing to you. Now you have my body!
Kale[Caulifla]: I don't want to be in your body! I was sleeping in my normally dirty bed, thinking of what it would feel like to be a Super Saiyan Three!
Caulifla[Kale]: Well, I'm sorry, but I was feeling tired from training all of the time. I wanted to take a break from this and imagined myself being in your shoes. Before I knew it, this bright light came and said that my wish was granted!
Kale[Caulifla]: Wait...A bright light came into your room and granted your wish?
Caulifla[Kale]: (Nods) Yep!
Kale[Caulifla]: Okay, then! Tell the light to come here and wish us back to normal!
Caulifla[Kale]: I'm sorry to say this to you, but...NO! I'm not doing it! (Crosses her arms)
Kale[Caulifla]: What!? Why?
Caulifla[Kale]: Because this is my chance to be free from training. You need to relax. Training is good and all, but what about our time together. When will we get the time to hang out together as sisters in arms?
Kale[Caulifla]: Kale? Don't do anything stupid! I don't want to fight you for it, but if I will-
Caulifla[Kale]: If you're going to be that way, I guess that I would like to be in Cabba's shoes! At least he's kind and respected as a soldier!
?: (A bright light appears) Your wish has been granted!
The light from before is back, but it covers both the girls in its light. Sprinkles of stars are spread onto the girls and go on for a couple of seconds. Once the light and the mysterious voice disappear, Caulifla opens her eyes. She later sees her hands, clothes, and hands. "Yes! I'm back!" said Caulifla. She looks at Kale, who still has her eyes closed. She shakes her friend so that she can wake up. When she does, Kale makes a scared expression. "AHHH! What happened!? Where am I!? And why does my voice sound more like Kale's?!" said Kale. Caulifla is confused about what just happened until...she remembered that Kale said that she would be in Cabba's shoes. This causes her to realize that Kale and Cabba have switched bodies. "Cabba!? Is that you?" said Caulifla. "Caulifla? Why are you at the headquarters?" said Cabba in Kale's body. "This might sound weird, but you're in Kale's body, due to the events of a mysterious light and voice granted wishes. Does that answer your questions?" said Caulifla. Cabba looks at 'his' hands and sees that they're not his. He covers his face, knowing that he's in a girl's body. "This can't be happening! What should we do?" said Cabba. Caulifla thinks of finding Kale, brings that light from before, and wishes it to return things back to normal. She tells Cabba that they need to find Kale and get that light to reverse this. "Okay. She's at the headquarters in my body. So let's hurry!" said Cabba as he runs out of the hideout with Caulifla. They must hurry before something terrible happens.
Planet Sadala, SDF Headquarters (Twenty Minutes Later)
Kale: Ugh! Again with this. (gets up and looks around a room) Uh? This is...Cabba's room. Wait a minute! My voice now sounds more like- (gets off of the bed and looks at a dresser mirror) Whoa! It happened again! I'm in Cabba's body!
(Room starts to quake a little)
Cabba[Kale]: Whoa! That's with the shaking!?
?: Cabba! Are you okay? Is your brake over?
Cabba[Kale]: That voice. I've heard that voice before. Cabba brought a Saiyan soldier to our hideout once and he was large. It can be. (Walks to the door and opens it) Hey! I am right! Limo?
Limo: (Looks down to see Cabba) Cabba?
Cabba[Kale]: Oh! I forgot about something! I'm Kale. There's this crazy story about me wishing to be Caulifla for a day and this mysterious light came in and swapped bodies between us. Caulifla wasn't happy about it, so I wished to be in Cabba's body and…(Spreads "her" arms out and smiles) Here we are!
Limo: (Raised his eyebrow) I'm still confused. So...You're not Cabba. You're Kale. the same Saiyan girl from that hideout with the gang leader?
Cabba[Kale]: Yep! It's hard to say it again, so I'll meet you downstairs. (Looks around Cabba's room) Uh...Where is the closet?
Limo: (Points to the back of the area) It's behind you.
Cabba[Kale]: (turns around, seeing a closet) Oh! Thanks! (Runs to the closet)
Limo: (Blushes a little) (Kale is inside of Cabba's body? This is much weirder than finding out that Cabba has a friendship-like relationship with the gang leader of an infamous thug group! How am I supposed to figure this out without Cabba to help me!?)
After Kale in Cabba's body is done putting on some armor, she and Limo leave the area to the downstairs area. Meanwhile, downstairs, Caulifla, and Cabba in Kale's body are in the building. They're trying to find Kale, figure out how to fix this situation, and have Caulifla apologize to Kale about pushing her in training. When Cabba sees his own body with Limo, he immediately tells Caulifla that she's over there. She sees them, turns Super Saiyan, and charges at the two. Back to Kale and Limo, she sees Caulifla charging at her. She transforms into a Super Saiyan and charges at her. The two collide and begin to fight for some reason. Limo runs towards Cabba, who's in Kale's body, and tells him more about what's going on. "Limo! Thank goodness that you're here. I want you to do something for me." said Cabba as he tells the orders to Limo. After that, Limo runs into the science lab, while Cabba turns to Super Saiyan to stop the fight. Kale in Cabba's body says to Caulifla that she doesn't like to go back to her body. "Because I was tired! You wouldn't let me relax for a few minutes! I'm stronger than you, so why are you just picking me to fight you!?" said Kale with Cabba's voice. "I'm sorry that I pushed you that far, Kale. I always wanted to get stronger, but I forgot to care about your well-being. Please! Call the light to get you and Cabba back together!" said Caulifla. Before either Caulifla and Kale were able to say another word, Cabba, in Kale's body, knocked them both out with a single punch. "Whoa! I can't believe that Kale's body is that durable!" are Cabba's thoughts, before turning off Super Saiyan and looking at the two unconscious female Saiyans. He later sees Limo coming back with a net and a taser gun. He smiles, knowing that his plan will work for sure.
Ten to Twelve Minutes Later…
Cabba[Kale]: (Wakes up) Huh? (Looks at Caulifla) Caulifla?
Caulifla: (Wakes up and looks at Cabba[Kale]) Kale?
Kale[Cabba]: There! We got it!
Caulifla: (Sees Kale[Cabba] and Limo trapping a glowing person) What the-
?: Hey! Let go of me!
Kale[Cabba]: Not until you change everything back!
Limo: Are you sure it's going to work, Cabba?
Caulifla: Hey! (Runs up to Kale[Cabba] and punches him in the back of his head) What's your problem!? (Frees the glowing person) There. Are you okay?
?: (Looks at Caulifla) I'm fine. I'm...sorry for what I've done. (Dims her light, revealing her true form) I'm a training fairy and I needed somewhere to practice granting wishes. I saw your friend having a hard time and thought that giving her a wish would be better.
Kale[Cabba]: Oh!
Cabba[Kale]: So you were the one behind all of the body-swapping? (Walks up to the fairy in training)
Fairy in training: Yes. I'll change you back. Just say, "I wish that everything was back to normal."
Cabba[Kale]: (Looks at Caulifla) I think that...I'll do it, but…(Points to Caulifla) I want Caulifla to take a break twice a week. That way, we can have breaks, instead of having short breaks every day after training sections.
Caulifla: Kale…(Looks at Cabba[Kale] and smiles) Anything for you, sis.
Cabba[Kale]: (Smiles before facing the fairy in training) Fairy? I wish that everything was back to normal!
Fairy in training: Of course! Your wish is granted! (Waves her wand and sprinkles some stars and glitter into the air)
Planet Sadala, Caulifla's Hideout (Two Weeks Later)
After the fairy in training fixed the body-swapping issue, Caulifla and Kale went back to their routine, but with a few changes. On Fridays and Saturdays, they take breaks from training, so that they can have more time with each other. Cabba and Limo would come on those days to have some time with them. Kale is happy that everything worked out in the end. And it all took was her being in the shoes of her friends. (Literally!).
