Caulifla and Kale What IF: Chapter Fourteen- "Cabba In Suggaland?"
Space, Cabba's Spaceship (One Hour After Leaving Sadala)
Cabba is on a journey to bring a special item for Janet to experiment with: "The Sugar Crystals." These crystals are said to have a drug-like effect on a person, allowing them to only eat sweets on the planet Sugga. Cabba has heard of this drug before, hearing stories of previous Saiyans going to the planet and never coming back from it. He thinks that this will be an easy mission since he rarely doesn't eat sweets in his life. He "should" be fine on that planet. He sees a cotton candy-colored planet in front of him, meaning that Planet Sugga is only a few minutes away. Before he begins to touch down, he sees himself in the window's reflection. He makes a sad expression, remembering what the other Saiyans said to him about his appearance. "They were just making fun of how skinny I look. Those were just insults. I should ignore them. but...looking at that planet made me feel like I should follow their words. I need to buff up my muscles a bit." are Cabba's thoughts, as he forgets that he was preparing for landing. He fastens his seatbelt, holds onto the stirring wheel, and braces for impact on the sugary planet.
Planet Sugga, Ice Cream Land (Five Minutes Later)
"I have landed on the ice cream land of Planet Sugga. Janet said that those sugar crystals are around in the sugar mountains, so...I guess I should go to the...(Turns right) Right! Over there!" said Cabba through his communicator, as he records what his mission is going. He walks to the right, where he thinks is where the sugar mountains are at. He goes through the gummy forest, where gummy fruits, gummy tree leaves, and chocolate tree barks are at. He can't believe that everything on this planet is edible. He later sees some light from the end of the pathway. He continues to walk to the light, coving his eyes in the progress. When he gets out of the pathway, he sees another area: "The Gingerbread House Apartments." Cabba is more shocked to see the many gingerbread houses around the area. His stomach growls, meaning that he didn't have any snacks, before starting this mission. He would like to take a bite off of one of the houses, but that would mean that he would be spoiling his dinner later on. He ignores the thought, goes through the apartment house area, continuing his mission. Without his attention, someone seems to be following him with a sinister smile on his or her face. It chuckles, while it continues to follow the Saiyan elite through the many houses. Cabba looks at the houses, thinking of asking one of the "residents" where the sugar mountains are. He sees the first house beside him, walks towards him, knocks on the door. He waits for the person to open it, but no one opens it. "This is weird. Planet Sugga was supposed to have residents, but this one doesn't have a single person in this house. Better go and do the rest to the other houses" said Cabba, as he leaves the house and goes to the next.
One Hour Later... (Outside of the Gingerbread House Apartments)
Cabba: (Sighs) Agh! I have checked every house in that area and no one is there. What is wrong with this planet!? (Stomach growls louder) Oh...right. (Rubs his stomach) I still have to eat something, but if I eat something on this planet, then I won't be able to have any dinner. (Hears some noises) Huh? (Gets up) Where did that sound come from?
(Camera revolves around the forest area)
Cabba: Where are you!?
?: Behind you! (Taps on Cabba's shoulder)
Cabba: Huh? (Turns around, seeing a woman in a brown robe) AH! (Jumps a little) You scared me!
?: I'm sorry. I've heard that you are a visitor on this wonderful planet. My name is Savana. You?
Cabba: My name is Cabba, ma'am. (bows down) I'm here to grab an item called "Sugar Crystals." Have you heard of them? (Looks at the woman)
Savana: (Nods) Of course I do.
Cabba: (Smiles) That's great! Where are they?
Savana: It's at my house. You are welcome incoming over there. It's in the Gummy Forest on the far left. I know that you were just in the Gingerbread House Apartments, but my place is here. Come. (Follows Cabba to her place)
Cabba: (Raises her eyebrow) (That's strange. I checked every house from that area, but for some reason...this woman is the only living person that I have seen. I wonder where the rest of the residents are?)
Savana: Here we go! My house! (Shows Cabba her house)
Cabba: IT's a whole lot bigger than the previous houses that I have checked.
Savana: Yes! I made it myself. (Looks at Cabba's body) Oh, dear. You seem to be thinning away. Can you come to my house and I'll give you some snacks. (Opens the door) Come in, come in!
Cabba: O-Okay. (Walks into the house, seeing more sweet furniture) So, Planet Sugga only uses life-sized candy to build houses?
Savana: Yes and we make our materials from Ingredient Creek, where the best quality items are important for our houses. (Gives Cabba some water) Here is some water for your troubles. I'll go get the snacks for you. (Leaves the living room)
Cabba: Thanks! (Sips the water) (After I'm done with his mission, I have to go to Caulifla's hideout for some training. She said that she'll make some dinner for me, but she can't cook that much, so...I have to think about that offer.)
Before Cabba would relieve on actually finding the crystals, he feels a hit in his head. It feels like he was hit by a massive wave of hits. He later begins to feel hyped, as if he wants to stay energized. Savana, returns into the living room with some snacks for the soldier. She has cookies, brownies, lollipops, chocolate bars, candy bars, candy-covered popcorn, ice cream sundaes, and milkshakes. Cabba sees the snacks that Savana has placed on the table. Without a single thought in his head, he immediately grabs the cookies and brownies and begins to chow down on them at rapid speed. Savana is surprised by how much power and speed Cabba is putting on those snacks. She says that she has more snacks in the kitchen, so she returns to the kitchen to fetch some more. While she fetches some more snacks, she makes a sinister smile, thinking that he has gotten him in her grasp. Cabba is too distracted by how much sugar he's eating, that he doesn't hear the graduating laughter from the kitchen. This can't be good for the soldier, but we have to see more of what he will do next.
Planet Sugga, Savana's House (Two Hours and Thirty Minutes After Leaving Sadala)
Cabba, still eating as many sweets as he could carry, has eaten most of his snacks. He feels like he still needs more to eat, so he starts eating the couch, which is made out of marshmallows, chocolate, and licorice. He later eats the gingerbread walls that have the chocolate and toffee picture frames on them. He eats them at the same pace that he did for the snacks. He even eats the plates that the snacks were placed on. A few minutes later, Cabba is on the floor, rubbing his comically round stomach. It's bigger than his head but not bigger than his body. Gladly, his armor is still intact from this, meaning that he can rub it without worrying about it breaking. He regains consciousness, confused about why he ate some much sweets. He later sees the cup of water, for which has not been touched by the binge-eating that he had done. He looks closer at the water, seeing specks of blue crystals in them. "Wait! The blue crystals! They look just like the sugar crystals that Janet needs. Did that woman drugged me with that stuff and-" said Cabba, before hearing Savana coming back to the living room with more snacks in her hands. She tells Cabba that she only poured a few sugar crystals into the water so that she can welcome him into her house. Cabba looks around the area, seeing bite marks from his previous binge-eating. He says that he needs to know where the crystals are so that he can leave this planet and complete his mission. Savana makes a frown on her face, moving her head down. "So...you have the same mission that the previous Saiyans had? Did you hear of what happened to those soldiers?" said Savana, while still having her head down. Cabba said to her that they haven't returned to Sadala for some reason. Savana later faces Cabba with an even bigger sinister smile, chuckling. She said that she had lured them into her house, but the same sugar crystals in their water, had them eat her entire house and snacks until they were fattened up for her to cook them! "I had killed those soldiers and they were DELICIOUS! HAHAHAHA!" said Savana, as she tells Cabba that he will be her next meal for the month. Cabba makes a nervous expression, now knowing why those soldiers haven't returned from their missions. They were eaten by this insane woman! Cabba tries to fire a ki blast, but nothing comes out. "I forgot that the sugar crystals deactivate your powers for a long period, so..." said Savana, as she charges at Cabba, neck chopping him. He falls unconscious, while Savana drags his body into the kitchen to prepare her meals.
Twenty-Five Minutes Later...
Cabba: (Slowly wakes up) Ugh...Agh...(Looks at the ceiling) Huh? (Turns around, seeing Savana, putting coal in a burning fireplace) Savana!
Savana: (Looks at Cabba) Oh...You're awake? It doesn't matter. Once I have you in my belly, you will be no more. I have done this to the rest of the residents on the planet after I crash-landed on the place. I discovered the power of the sugar crystals, learned to use them to lure other residents into my regenerating house, and cooked them. I had to do it! (Makes an angry expression) I was running out of options! After eating the last of the residents, I was out of "materials" to eat. Just then, a Saiyan landed on here, searching for sugar crystals, the same ingredient that I have at my house. This got me the idea of eating them, so I used the same technique that I have used for the residents and eat them as well! They were so delicious and I couldn't stop! More kept coming to the planet, wanting the crystals and I showed them to it.
Cabba: This is CRAZY!
Savana: It isn't! As long as I'm alive, then I will survive on this planet! Now...I need to put you in the fireplace to cook, as I make the sauces and appetizers for you.
Cabba: (Struggles to get off of the table) Crap! I'm tied up! Dammit! I should have just noticed that she put something in the water, before tasting it! How stupid was I!? (Looks at his rounded stomach) I guess I'm big...but differently. Oh, who am I kidding!? I look like a bloated mess! I'm going to be turned into dinner, without me having dinner myself! (Closes his eyes)
?: Crush Cannon! (Fires attack)
Savana: Huh? Who the- (Gets hit by the attack) AHH! (Gets pushed into the fireplace)
Cabba: (Opens his eyes in shock) What the- (Sees Caulifla and Kale here) Caulifla!? Kale!? Why are you-
Caulifla: (Sighs, while freeing Cabba) Janet told us that you might need some backup, so she called us to come and get you. And coming into this house of sweets, you with a round stomach, and this woman about to eat you...yeah! She was right for the backup.
Kale: (Sees the woman being burned to a crisp) Uh...Caulifla? I think that your attack might have pushed the woman into the fire-
Savana: (Extends her burning arm out)AHHH! Please! Help me! AHHHH!
Caulifla: I meant to do that, Kale. She was about to eat Cabba! Let's get out of here before she does get out of there. (Looks at Cabba) Are you going to be okay?
Cabba: I'll be fine, Caulifla. (Smiles) Thanks for saving me.
Caulifla and Kale, who saved Cabba from Savana, left the house with him. As for Savana, she dies in the fireplace, consumed by the fires that she cooked her victims in. Cabba knows where his ship is at, so he shrinks it into a capsule, before going onto the ships Janet lets Caulifla and Kale use for the backup. The three Saiyans take the ship out of the planet and return to Sadala. Cabba is in another room, reflecting on what just happened today. He almost got eaten by a crazy woman, who ate other people just to survive, he got mocked for how skinny he was, and in the end, he looks like a bloated mess. He looks at his rounded stomach, thinking that he got his wish, but at what cause? "Maybe next time, I'll completely ignore the comments and just be myself," said Cabba, before hearing his stomach growling. He sees his stomach shrinking back to normal. He is confused about why that happened. I guess we will never know. Or WILL we?! The scene transcends to a white background, like what the previous two scenarios have done. Okay! I need some ANSWERS! How the hell is every scenario that I keep looking into keep flashing to a blank background scene!? Is there a connection to this (Bleep)!? Well...there is.
*Dream ends...(SDF Headquarters, Science Lab/Morning)
We are now in the science lab at the SDF Headquarters. Janet is here, injecting some vaccination into Caulifla, Kale, and Cabba. After doing that, she explains why they are here and how they ended up here. "I have been spying on you three for quite some time and, interestingly, you three didn't die from rotten meat. Caulifla...(Looks at Caulifla) You kicked a small dwarf after you called him a nickname. He was the one, who bought you the rotten meat, as a means of revenge. Kale...(Looks at Kale) You were talking to Limo for quite some time, before seeing your sister in arms attacking that dwarf. You wanted to go on a date with him, but you didn't finish your sentence in time. Cabba...(Looks at Cabba) After you have done your mission on Planet Sugga, I handed you the sugar crystals as a reward. I SPECIFICALLY told you not to take a large amount of them, because they would cause lucid dreams and some sugar craze" said Janet, as she crosses her arms. "The stomach pains were the cause of the rotten meat that you three had for dinner last night. If it weren't for the vaccinations that you just took, then you would have died from an even worse diagnosis. You're welcome" said Janet, as she leaves the lab so that the three Saiyans think of what just happened to them just now.
Kale: (Rubs her chin) It does make sense as to why I had a dream of me being large and Limo popping up at the end. (Blushes a little) Me eating those sweets was a bad decision.
Caulifla: That would explain why I was so small and that dwarf appeared to kill me for insulting him. (Rubs her chin) I should have noticed that the mean smelled bad. Nah! That was his fault that he didn't warn me about it. (Gets slapped in the back by Kale) Hey! Kale!? What the hell was that for!?
Kale: (Makes an angry expression with a pout) Caulifla! You gave us that meat as dinner! If you would have apologized to the small man, then he would have given us some fresh meat, instead! (Crosses his arms)
Caulifla: (Eyes widen while looking at Kale) Wow, Kale. I've never seen you this angry towards me of all people!
Cabba: (Looks at Caulifla and Kale) It's my fault that we had those weird dreams. I thought that taking the sugar crystals would be a good idea, but...in the end, we got sick and those dreams are just weird to look at. Even after sleep.
Kale: Well...We survived the illness, meaning that we can begin training. Right, Caulifla?
Caulifla: (Smiles at Kale) Of course, Kale! We can train off the worries away.
Cabba: (Makes a funny, nervous expression) Actually...we can't train for the next seven days. The vaccinations have to work through our systems, so it's going to take a week to fill throughout the body.
Caulifla: (makes a comically shocking expression) WHAT!?
Cabba: (Rubs the back of his head) Hehehehe! I guess we have a whole week of relaxing ahead of us. (Looks at Caulifla, who has a terrifying angry expression) EK!
Caulifla: One WEEK!? (Grabs Cabba's collar) I'll start your break...by BREAKING YOUR HEAD OPEN!
Cabba dodges the punch in time, quickly leaves the lab. Caulifla, still mad about not being able to train for the next week, chases after Cabba. Kale just stays in the lab, seeing the two-run around the area outside of the lab. Even though, she has to not train for a week, at least she has to have some time with Caulifla and Cabba for a while. Those dreams that they had were a blast to see. A break from the random bull-(Bleep) that we had previously.
