Last time: Oppie checked in with the local Police Captian. Someone was spying on Sasha.

Now: Von Signa makes his move.

Chapter 18- Found Her

The hooded man sat there in the back of the bar, watching the Jedi carefully as they enjoyed their meal. At one point, he thought he had been caught by them for spying on them, but they never made any move to leave his sights or come to deal with him personally. They just ignored him. That was strange as he expected them to do something other than just sit there and let him spy on them. Either that or they didn't see him as much of a threat. Whatever the case was, he was getting all the delicious intel he needed to deliver to his contact Von Signa. He sat there for a long time until they finally got up and left.

He gave them a few minute head start before he left the bar, stashing the recording device he had hid near their table as he made his way out. Once outside, he spotted that they were headed towards the medical center. But he didn't follow them. His job was to gather intel on the Jedi and report it back, not stalk them through the whole city. So he headed in the opposite direction until he reached his private living quarters at an apartment on the far side of town. Once he was safely inside, he pulled out a commlink and called Von.

Von had fallen asleep against his desk as he waited for his contact on Nivon Five to get back to him. The beeping of his commline startled him awake.

"Don't shoot!" He called as he straightened up and his hand immediately jumped to his blaster, ready to take on what alerted him. When he realized it was the commline, he swore under his breath before activating the call. "Signa here. What do you want?"

"I've got the intel on the Jedi," the scratchy male voice said on the other end.

Von relaxed back in his chair. "Oh, what have ya got for me?" He asked.

"The Jedi you described is here," the man explained. "But she is not alone. She was with a New Republic medic and another Jedi."

Screw the medic. He didn't care about that. But his brows quirked up at the mention of another Jedi. "What did they look like, this other Jedi?"

"Older male with brown hair and a beard," the man described. "And he had two sabers."

Two? Von pulled up the files on the girl as he recalled reading something about her being in league with two other Jedi. One was believed to be her master. Or something like that. He thought for a moment. His client wanted just the girl, but had mentioned any of her family or fellow Jedi were also fair game if she wasn't alone. But could he get more credits if he caught the male Jedi too? As Von considered that, the man on the other end of the line cleared his throat.

"Uh, are you still there?" He asked, unsure if Von had hung up on him or not.

"Yeah, I am," Von said, coming out of his thoughts. "Were you able to get anything else?"

"Yeah, I've got a whole recorded conversation of theirs from this evening," the man said. "I'm sending you the file now."

"Excellent," Von said. "I'll wire you the funds." He then muted the comm allowing the man to send him the intel before hanging up.

He quickly wired the credits over as he received the recording. Once he got the recording, he hung up the call. Von then sat there for another hour or two listening to the conversation between the Jedi and this medic. And with each passing sentence, he got an idea on how to capture the girl. If not both of the Jedi as it may be best to not leave witnesses. An idea that would fit his standards of bounty hunting, strange and out of the box. That was what made him unique was how he captured his prey by learning of their weaknesses and exploiting them in ways that others would not think of. That's why he had such a high success rate for decades in bounties. If only some of his hunters would follow in his footsteps.

As he sat there listening, he pulled up the list of the systems he had been considering for the location of the hunt. And one name stuck out this time. One he had heard rumor of that had a certain species of creature that was dangerous to the Jedi. Heck there was a rumor the planet was dangerous to the Jedi specifically. With a villainous smirk, he watched as his plan came together.
