With Jin and Nens return of good news it put the pack at ease. Jin, Nagi, and Kohaku shared their knowledge with the others so they would know how to protect themselves still just in case it was ever needed.
As the summer went into the middle of the season Sesshomaru felt the urge to travel even stronger than before. Even if it was just to the village, he didn't care. He felt caged and had to get out.
Watching Rin collect flowers he decided to bring it up to her.
"Rin. There is something I wish to ask you." He said sitting beside her.
"What is it my lord?" Turning to him she placed the blooms down in her lap that she had collected.
"Do you want to visit the village?"
"I do actually." She admitted. "With everything that has happened and now that it has calmed down here, maybe now would be the best time."
"Then we will prepare to leave."
"It will be nice to see everyone and introduce Hotaru to Lady Kaede, Sango, and Miroku." She said. "Oh, and meet their new son as well even though he is older than Hotaru is." Shrugging she stood. "I will start making the arrangements."
"Very good."
"How long do you want to go for Lord Sesshomaru?"
"However long you want to stay." He replied.
"Alright." Gathering her flowers he watched her go to the house. It didn't take long for her to get Hotaru ready while he told Jaken they were leaving.
Mitsuo readied An and Un to leave while the other females helped Rin to gather supplies to make sure she had a comfortable journey.
"Would you please give this to Sango?" Izumi requested handing Rin a letter.
"Of course Izu." She agreed placing it in her kimono. "I don't think we will be gone to long."
"Just go. Everything will be fine here, we will all see to that." Izumi said. "Have a good journey little Cho."
Rin embraced her friend before bidding her goodbye to Emi, Sanna, and Iku as well. With Hotaru secured to her front Sesshomaru placed her on An-Un climbing on behind and taking the reigns.
Jaken grasped onto the tail end of the moko-moko as the dragons took flight.
"Looks like you are in charge Izu." Emi teased.
"Oh yes. However will I manage?" She smirked at her. Looking at her better she paused. "You look…bigger."
Emi laughed and smiled. "I'll lay soon."
"More eggs?"
"Yes but not so many as last time I believe." Sighing she placed her hands to her stomach. "I warned Mitsuo that if he is not careful then we will end up with so many children we won't know what to do with them but he doesn't seem to mind."
"All of you are pregnant." Sana said biting her lip.
"Apparently." Iku stated smirking.
"I…but why? I do not understand why you would let the men do that to all of you." Sana said nervously.
"Oh, Sana, no…it isn't…" Emi began when Izumi held up her hand to stop her.
"Inside." She told them and they filed in to sit at the table. Iku prepared tea for all of them and they sat together as Sana whipped her gaze from one to the other. "Sana, what happened to you is not how it should have been…especially for your first time to mate."
"It hurt." Closing her eyes she swallowed. "They ripped at my clothes and the leader forced himself on me while others held me down…"
"What happened to you is terrible." Iku said taking her hand. "When you find a mate that cares for you and wants to take care of you then you will see that it is an intimate act."
"And pleasurable." Izumi added.
"And satisfying." Emi said.
"Pleasurable? Do you mean it makes you…happy?" Sana questioned curiously.
"Oh yes, very happy." Emi giggled out before sighing wistfully.
"Calm down Emi." Iku teased causing the bird demon to laugh outright.
"I will tell you what Rin has explained to me about human women and how they gain physical pleasure." Izumi said settling herself to explain. "With your sex, under your folds, is a small bud. Touching that brings you pleasure."
"Then, I could do that to myself? To see what it is like." Sana said slowly.
"If you want." Izumi said with a small shrug. "That actually may be the best course for you at this point."
"I agree. Sana, go to the hut and explore yourself." Iku offered. "We will all make sure that you have privacy and no one will bother you."
Emi nodded as Izumi smirked at her in support.
"Alright." She said clearing her throat a light blush staining her cheeks. "This is awkward."
Standing she straightened out her apron and kimono before making way to leave.
"Let us know how it goes." Emi said cheerfully. Glancing over her shoulder Sana stared at her for a moment with wide eyes.
"I-I…" Making a small squeak she ran out of the main house.
"Good job." Izu said throwing Emi a glance. "You frightened her."
"I am just trying to be supportive, with all due respect Izu." She added at the end for good measure.
"Lady Izumi, do you think Rin would mind terribly if we used some of her bathing oils?" Iku asked.
"No but why would you want to?" Crinkling her nose just thinking about the strong scents made her make a face.
"If Sana does pleasure herself then it will leave a scent. My mate has been excited enough…why are you laughing at me?"
"I'm…not." Izumi managed out trying to hold in her mirth. "Sorry, I understand. I will get some of the rose oil she has." Standing she went down the hall to Rin and Sesshomarus room.
Looking in for a moment it felt empty without either of them there. Feeling a sadness wash over her as she saw Hotarus basket she sighed.
Hisashi had fallen asleep in it having dragged his blanket in to find comfort with it. Undoubtedly he would be upset when he woke up to find his sister and other set of parents gone.
Walking to the shelving she grasped the small corked bottle before exiting the room leaving the door slightly ajar for him. "Here you are Iku."
"Thank you." Standing she stretched placing a hand to her back. "I really don't know what I was thinking, at my age getting pupped again."
"I am glad that you are. That all of us are." Emi said. "We are all very fortunate to have such good mates that can provide for us and our little ones."
"Yes, we are." Izumi agreed smiling at her.
Sana kept her face low to the ground as she walked staring at the grass then dirt as she made her way to the hut.
"Sana." Jiro called to her. Jumping she turned towards him and blushed hard.
"Jiro."
"Are you alright?" Jiro questioned as he came closer to her. "You look ill." The concern he wore for her so openly made her relax.
"Yes, thank you. I am. What are you up to?"
"Nothing. I finished patrol for the day and I have the night off. Now that we have Nagi and Jin it is easier to take some time off." He said. "And you?"
"Nothing. Not a thing." She said quickly. Jiro smirked at her a bit, a little confused at her defensiveness.
"Okay." He said slowly. "Would you like to go for a walk with me?"
"Yes." Sana replied settling further. "I would."
"Lead the way." He gestured for her to move forward as they began to walk with no particular direction in mind. Coming to the front of the grounds Sana spotted the sunflowers that grew on the edge of the forest.
"They are so lovely." She said taking a smaller one in hand. "I wish they lasted for forever and not just a season."
"May I?" Jin took if from her and broke it from its stem. Placing it down in one of his palms he used his energy to petrify it. Lifting it up he handed it to Sana.
"You've made it like…glass." She said looking at him. "How did you do that?"
"Magic." He smirked at her stunned expression. "Now you can keep it always."
Nodding her head she stared at him feeling her eyes begin to well with tears as she was overcome with emotions. She felt feel her heart beat harder and could hear it thrum in her ears.
"I will…keep it with me always." She whispered out. "Thank you."
"You are welcome." Offering her his arm she took a breath accepting it as she linked her own with his. Smiling and blushing she held his gift close to her as they went into the forest together.
A/N: I think someone is falling in love. So cute. I am not sure how I want to approach these next few chapters. What do you all think, should I focus solely on Rin and Sesshomaru in the village or go back and forth with it to show what is happening in the pack?
