This is a collection of what if stories, following two saiyan females from Universe Six. Most of them are AUs or just parodies of what I have thought about. Similar to "Legendary Super Giantess", it's non-canon to my first two stories: "Misadventures of Caulifla and Kale" & "Cabba's Outrageous Missions" This is just for fun and creativity!

25. Project Berserker?

Author's Notes- I don't own Dragon Ball Super. The show and manga are created by Toei Animation and Akira T. Here's another scary what if for you all. Originally, I wanted to incorporate this into the "Sadala" story next year, but I thought of how difficut and confusing to put what ifs into a canonized story. So, enjoy the what ifs that I have for you all. All that matters is that there are multiple opportunities for this story to continue. Fair warning: This might be one of my darkest stories that I have EVER written. So, read at your own pace. Otherwise, enjoy the chapter!

Caulifla and Kale: What IF: Chapter Twenty-Five- "Project Berserker?"

In this universe, the events after "Dragon Ball Super" had been...dark, to put it in words. Three months later, Janet was reported killed by an unknown person. With a few stabs in the chest, Janet, one of the more well-known scientists on Sector has been killed. Taking her place is her sister, Celeste, who has been a part of the Sectorian Army in the exact amount of years as Janet. Things were going to plan, until...Celeste thought of an idea for the king of Sadala. She introduced him to "Project Berserker", a research in improving the soldier's strength and power to hundred folds. King Sadala does want to have stronger warriors, other than Cabba to protect the universe from evil. He blindly accepts the project, asking Celeste of where she could get the necessary materials for the project to begin. "I want to bring this saiyan, named Kale here for it. She is the most important 'material' for the project to be completely operational" said Celeste, a she bows to King Sadala, while making a quiet smirk of a laugh. The king orders the guards to get Kale, the legendary super saiyan to the headquarters for testing. Or...it used to be the headquarters, now that Celeste is the lead director of the Science Lab. She wants the project to be perfectly correct, so she orders the scientists to follow her every order, or else she would kill them in cold blood. They ordered her orders, transforming the headquarters into a more larger lab for the project. Once Kale has been sent to the lab by the king's guards, Celeste finally got to work. Why does she want Kale for the project? Well...before this, Celeste has been studying the Legendary Super Saiyan for years, leading her to believe that containing the power and transferring to other warriors will give her the advantage of taking over the universe with an iron, green-lit fist. The first step is seeing how useful Kale was. How is she going to take care of this? Well, she is a sadistic scientist, so the best method in testing Kale's strength, in her opinion, was to torture her with all sorts of tools. Through electrification, starving her for days, dehydrating her, whipping her in the back violently, and warning her about killing her friend, Caulifla, were ways that Celeste was able to get into Kale. Since she was a shy girl, Kale had to buy into the torture, so that Caulifla would be safe. Not only is Celeste bad to Kale, but she's rude to the rest of the soldiers. Even Cabba gets to be the first soldier to be tested for the sample Project Berserker, in case it was a success. Over the past three years, Celeste has made this headquarters into a hell hole. The headquarters show a dark gray look, duller than rust on an old bike. The inside is just worse. Inside of the headquarters/lab, there are dead bodies of previously tested soldiers, who died from the sample serum that Celeste is working on. Once the serum is complete, she would place it in Kale for a better effect. Also on the floor, scientists, who had denied Celeste's words, dead with the soldiers. Going into the lab, where there are more flasks, beakers, and tubes with light green fluid boiling in them. On the far left of the laboratory tables are fluids of blood with the labels, "Kale's Blood Sample" from Number one to Number one hundred and thirty two. Throughout the testing, Celeste has not made a single success with the project. She is now in her office, which used to be the ships area, looking at the various DNA fragments of Kale with the DNA fragments of other races that have a unique skill in strength improvement. She is struggling in how to change the fragments and make the serum more durable in other people, who aren't the Legendary Super Saiyan.

"I need my drink, Lard Ass! Hurry it up, before I put a bullet in your skull!" said Celeste, as she bangs her fist on the desk. Limo, her new assistant, runs to where Celeste is at, with her drink in his hands. He carefully puts the drink on Celeste's desk, nervously smiles at his new boss, and tells her that it's done. "I-Is there anything that you would want for me to-GAH!" said Limo, as Celeste punches him in the stomach. She yells at him to leave and check on the subject. "I want her to be alright for the next testing. Be quick about it. You have three minutes!" said Celeste, as she goes back to her blueprints, while Limo runs away in a terrified way. He has been feeling this for the last two to three months. Celeste has already killed three assistants out of rage, meaning that he might be the fourth one on her list. He hurries to the basement area of the lab, ready to check on the subject. Doing through the darken hallways with a single ki blast in his hand, Limo walks further for Kale. He does feel bad for her and would sometimes give her encouraging words, so that she doesn't feel bad. Once he sees her jail number, "93", Limo knocks on the glass door. He is nervous of seeing Kale, now that she has been tortured and starved near to death from Celeste. He can see a skinny figure walking up to the glass door. Limo leans closer with the ki in his hand, looking for a better appearance. He jumps away from the door in a scared fashion, as he finally saw Kale. Her hair is loosen, her eyes have dark circles and baggy underneath, her muscles are barely there, and her moans are as painful to hear and feel. Kale sees Limo in a blurred vision, as she has been mostly in this room for two years. "L-Limo? I-Is that you?" said Kale in her whisper tone of voice, since she has been screaming from Celeste torturing her. "Yes, Kale. It's me. Celeste called and wanted me to check on you. I do want to release you from here and let the King know of what has been going on, but-" said Limo, as he hears a shh from Kale. It was slow, but he stopped talking. Kale told Limo that he doesn't have to do that. "I-I have to do this, so that she doesn't go after Caulifla. I-If I leave, then...C-Caulifla would be..." said Kale, as she looks away. Even though, she might be a skinny figure with no purpose, but to be a lab rat, Kale is still herself. It's a miracle that she hasn't broke from the torment that Celeste has been bringing upon her. Limo feels absolutely sad that Kale has to go through this. He tells her that he will find a way. "And once Celeste is gone, you and Caulifla are going to be together. Alright?" said Limo with his warm smile. Out of the bad and hellish times, Limo has been the only person that Kale ever cares about. His communicator rings, causing him to nervously get it. He gets the call, Celeste yells him into his ear, telling him to get Cabba from his jail room. After that, Limo says good bye to Kale, before going to the next jail room for Cabba, who has been in a worse state than Kale. He is more skinnier than his normal look, has baggy eyes, and his skin color has become dull. He slumps on his stool, as he hears the door open without looking at it. Limo also feels bad for Cabba than with Kale, as they are being tested by a mad woman. He tells Cabba politely that Celeste is ready for the next testing. "Like the hundredth and thirty-fourth time that she has done on me. When? When is she going to stop this and spread this virus onto Sadala. She is going to release a far dangerous weapon! SHE'LL KILL US ALL!" said Cabba in his dry voice. He has been tortured by the injection of the practice serum. Limo grabs Cabba easily, due to his power decreased over the past two years. The two leave the basement level, leaving Kale to think sadly about Caulifla. "I miss you, Caulifla. I-I really miss you!" said Kale, as she sobs away alone in her jail room.

Laboratory Section (Twenty-Five Minutes Later)…

(Cabba screams loudly, after getting shocked by electric-poles)

Celeste: And...stop!

Limo: (Pulls the level down, stopping the poles) I sure hope that he's alri-

Cabba: Cah! Gah! (wheezing hard)…

Celeste: Crap! The serum isn't having any effect on him. This is the hundred and thirty third or fourth time I'd done this to him! Why isn't he turning into a berserker saiyan!?

Cabba: (Falls on the ground on his knees) AH! AAAAHH! I.N-Need...AIR!

Celeste: Oh, shut the f*** up! You'll be fine! Saiyans being shocked by one million volts of lightning can withstand stronger attacks! Besides, I still need you to be my subject for the serum to work. Now, I need to update the serum, add more of that legendary shy bitch's blood, and some more materials that might do the-

Cabba: (Looks at Celeste tiredly) Y-You will n-never get away from this. T-This project is unnecessary for you t-to create. S-Saiyans are fine as who they are. Y-You already killed hundreds of soldiers, b-because you want to make a warrior, who c-could destroy planets for you. I-is that right!?

Celeste: Hahaha! Stupid monkey. (Smiles at Cabba) You're on the money on that part. But here is another reason. I'm creating this serum, so that I can make a universe, where destruction is the only solution. I haven't told this to anyone, but since you, that fat ass, and the girl are here, I might as well tell you. (Bends over, looking down at Cabba)

Cabba: A-About what?

Celeste: About what happened to my dumb-ass sister, Janet. Yes, she was killed by an unknown killer, but they didn't find out who killed her. Who would kill a polite, young woman like her, in order to take her spot in the Science Lab Program? (Points at herself) You're looking at one. I was the one who killed her and I enjoyed every single minute of it. She didn't agreed to my idea of spreading a possible weapon, where anyone could be the legend. Everyone could be a powerhouse with the most highly known power. She said that the berserker state has some flaws, but I wasn't listening to a single damn word she spilled out of her mouth. After leaving the Sectorian Army, I had to follow my goals of making a cosmos, where the power is absolutely dominant. No one will be stronger than the other. It's perfect!

Cabba: (eyes widen) That's crazy! You'll never achieve it! It's been two years and no success. (Weaking-ly smiles) Y-You'll never be able to find a good formula in controlling Kale's power. It's a rare power that only she has.

Celeste: (Makes a discovered struck expression) Wait. She does have the rare power that no other saiyan has. If I could inject the new serum into her, make her mad enough, so that the berserker form is most effective for it to spread-YES! (Stands up, crackles a little) It would work! Thanks, monkey for giving me the solution to my problems. For that, you can live. Get out of my sight!

Limo: (Carries Cabba out of the area) (Kale is in danger for real! I have to get her and Cabba out of here! But how!? Celeste has made a highly secured barrier around the headquarters. She does have a code to turn them off. Gladly for me, I know where her notes are. All I have to do is free Cabba and Kale from their jail rooms, guide them out of the headquarters, and inform the king of Celeste's true plans for the project. I have to be quick about it, otherwise...I'll die trying to save the planet. Even this universe.) (Leans close to Cabba's ear) Cabba? Can you hear me?

Cabba: (Slowly turns left) O-Of course I can, Limo. What is it?

Limo: (Makes a serious expression) I think that I could get you and Kale out of here, before Celeste could complete the serum. Fearing that Kale might release an even more dangerous weapon could mean that the entire saiyan race is done for. We need to inform the king about the truth about the project. I know that you and Kale aren't in the most fighting shape, but you will be proof to King Sadala. Proof that the project is evil. We have to stop Celeste once and for all! Are you in?

Cabba: C-Count me in. Kale and I will follow you outside. I want this b-bitch to feel the true wrath of the saiyans. S-she has to pay. (Nods simultaneously at Limo)

With that, the two saiyans leave the area to the basement. Kale, who's in her jail room, carving a picture of her and Caulifla on the wall, hears Cabba and Limo walk next to her door. She tells them to leave her and "Caulifla" alone. See this makes Limo sad to watch Kale become more desperate in seeing her friend again. He tells Kale that they have a plan of getting the hell out of here. Kale, although not looking at the two, continues to hear what Limo has to say. "Celeste has a code in her notes that open the barriers around headquarters. If we could get that code, unlock the barrier from the inside, leave the headquarters, go straight to King Sadala's kingdom, and inform him of what Celeste's true intentions are, then we could save the planet or the universe. You can finally meet Caulifla again. Are you in, Kale?" said Limo, as he opens the door for her. Kale thinks of what it would feel like to meet Caulifla again. To hold her in her arms. To say that she is so happy to see her face again. To even see her black eyes and smile towards her own. Kale stands up, having a bit of a trouble with her balance, turns her head to face the two, saying that she will join them. "Good! We have to hurry! Celeste is working on a final serum test that would destroy not only Sadala, but the cosmos as we know it!" said Limo. Kale slowly walks her way out of the room. Limo decides to carry both her and Cabba in his arms, as he speed-walks out of the basement area. He knows where Celeste's other office is at, so he hurries there, while carrying the weaken saiyan warriors in his arms.

Upper Level, Celeste's Other Office (Five Minutes Later)…

Five minutes later, the three saiyans arrived on the upper level of the headquarters, where more dead bodies of soldiers and scientists are shown. Cabba feels disgusted in seeing his fellow soldiers on the floor, lifeless. Kale doesn't show any emotions, now that she feels so weak from the hunger and beatings from Celeste. Limo also feels sad to see more dead bodies, as he walks his way to Celeste's other office. He sees a cracked open door, meaning that her office is close. He uses his foot to kick open the door fully, seeing a lot of paper piles on the floor and desk. Judging by how much research Celeste had to do, Limo has to search really quick to find those codes. He puts down Cabba and Kale, tells them to stay outside of the room, while he will search for the codes. Limo closes the door, ready to start his search for the codes. Meanwhile, Cabba and Kale weakling-ly lean against the wall for a rest. Due to them being tortured by Celeste, they don't have the energy to stand up. Cabba looks at Kale, wanting to say her some "final" words of advice. "Kale? D-Do you have a moment?" said Cabba. Kale looks at Cabba, saying that she has some energy to hear him. "I-I know that this torment has been rough on you. On both of u-us, but think of the g-good times. B-Before we got captured and beaten against our w-will. C-Caulifla still cares about us. Mainly you, but...Y-You get my point in all of t-this. T-There's always a bright light in the most darkest of t-times. J-Just remember that for m-me, Kale. C-Can you?" said Cabba with a weak smile. Kale doesn't always listen to Cabba a lot, but since this is a serious situation, she nods her head. "I will, Cabba. I will" said Kale, as she hears the door open besides her. Limo comes out of the office with a small slip of paper in his hand. That must be the code to unlock the barriers of the headquarters. The three leave the area quickly, down the stairs, and through the once science lab. Seeing the damaged bottles, tubes, dried substances, and even more dead bodies, truly makes this place like hell. Limo, Cabba, and Kale go into the bigger version of Celeste's office, not seeing her anywhere. That's good news, now that they see the exit door with the key settings. "The code should be able for us to unlock the barrier and the door for us to lea- GAH!" said Limo, as he gets shoot in the back by Celeste, who is holding a glowing green serum in her hands. She walks closer, while shooting more laser bullets at Limo's back. "Let go of the subject, before I kill yo ass! NOW!" said Celeste, as she keeps shooting at him. Limo lazily lets go of Cabba and Kale from his arms, kneeling from the pains of those shots to the back. Celeste smiles wickedly, as she sees the saiyans try to crawl to the door. She tells them that it won't work without the code. She kicks Cabba to the side, allowing him to slide further away from him. She stabs Kale in the back with the syringe of glowing serum. She injects the serum into Kale's system, removes the syringe out of her back, and throws it to the ground, breaking it. Seeing this, Limo quickly shield Kale with his body.

"You won't kill any more saiyans! This doesn't have to be this way, Celeste! Power is not a all time solution! There are other ways of fixing problems!" said Limo, as he holds Kale closer to his chest. Celeste, smirking and scoffing at Limo's reply, stating that she does want she wants in her life. "I don't give a flying f*** of what you or that king of yours want! I care about sharing my one opinion to the cosmos, even if that means I have to use force to do it! Now, move out of the way, so that I can see Kale transform!" said Celeste, as she keeps shooting Limo in the back. Limo becomes more weak from the blood loss coming from the bullet wounds. He soon lets go of Kale, falls on his side, breathing heavily. Cabba sees the events go out, only partially, because of his eyes being blurry. Celeste smiles, while seeing Kale's frighten expression towards Limo. She tells and threatens Kale to transform, or else she'll start killing the two saiyan males that she cares about. "I-I can't! You had weaken me to the point where I cannot transform. I simply can't, anymore! I-I'm sorry!" said Kale, as she cries over Limo's other side. While still hurt, Limo is still able to hold onto Kale with one arm. Kale looks at Limo's face, seeing a faint smile. "D-Don't worry, Kale. I-I'll be fine. I-I haven't told you this, but w-when I first saw your face. Y-You were the most prettiest woman I have ever seen. I-I just want to say that...t-that I...Ngh!" said Limo, feeling the wounds getting worse, whenever he talks long. Kale wants to tell him to stop talking, so that the bleeding stops, but Limo continues. "...I-I want to tell you, Kale. I-I-I love you. I love you, Kale." said Limo, as he smiles briefly and fully. Kale cries generously with care, as she finally understood what Cabba meant by finding the light in most dark events. Before she could find a way to say that she loves Limo, Celeste shoots Limo in the head. Kale gets a splatter of blood on her face, while seeing a hole in Limo's forehead from the shot. The large saiyan feels limp, as his eyes turn blank, he falls on his side hard, and falls dead. Kale is shocked, devastated, and hurt by a lost of a potential lover out of this mostly dark story. Celeste chuckles from how Limo said that he loved Kale, who's shy and powerless. "That blubber ass was too much to bare. I guess I need another assistant, once the serum is a complete success. Now about that form?" said Celeste, as she sees Kale's green aura begin to glow. The saiyanness is angry, the first that she ever felt since being trapped by this maniac of a scientist. She tells Celeste that her blood will effect others and turn them into mindless fools. "I WILL NEVER LET YOU DESTROY THIS PLANET! NOT WHILE YOU ARE ALIVE!" said Kale, as her body begins to change. She slowly turned to her normal, not so skinny form, but her body begins to grow larger. Her muscles inflate to huge proportions, her eyes slight become wider, her hair changes from a black color to a lime green color, and her skin color becomes pale. Celeste hasn't seen the legend up close, but now she gets to see it fully. Kale stops growing, standing over seven feet tall, towering Celeste. She growls deeply, yet loudly at the scientist. Celeste has done it! Kale becomes the berserker saiyan with the serum activated in her body. She was about to tell Kale about joining her in universal domination, but she has other plans. The giant saiyan girl lifts Celeste by the neck, holds her to look into her eyes, while growling ever so threateningly. "YOU! You ruined everything that I have! My friends, my soon to be lover! And my pride! Now…You'll never see your dreams comes true, because I will be taking your place in dominating the world in my own image! An image of me, in which you had tortured for two years! It's my turn to use your plan for a greater purpose! Spreading my hatred to the cosmos!" said Kale ,as she gradually squeezes Celeste's neck. The scientist tiredly tells Kale that she can't spread the serum, unless she has the formula in spreading it. Kale only chuckles from that, saying that she knows a better way of spreading her power. Without warning, Kale crushes Celeste's neck, leaving her limp in her hands. She was finally dead. Kale drops Celeste to the ground, walks over to where Cabba is at, making the area shake. She looks down at the weaken soldier, smiles maliciously, stating that she can save the planet and keep others from attacking the planet. "W-Whatever you're thinking, Kale. I-It's never going to work. Spreading this virus is just going to make Sadala a hazardous planet. You killed Celeste. You don't have to do this! Please, Kale! R-Remember what I t-told you!" said Cabba, as he tries to get up. "I remember. I'm going to spread the light that is my own powerful form to the rest of the saiyans. We'll be the strongest races, no one will overcome us, and we'll be the strongest ones in the multiverse! I must do this! Starting with you! You will be my first victim! Hah!" said Kale, as she shoots an energy blast at Cabba. This should have blown him up, but instead, Cabba gets shocked in green lightning. Kale leaves the area, beginning her plan of spreading her virus to the saiyan race.

King's Palace…

(Camera faces King Sadala)

King Sadala: My fellow saiyans. Project Berserker has been completed by the scientist, Celeste. I just got word that she will appear at the palace with the results of the project. I am so happy to see what the project will do to the rest of the soldiers. (Hears a door open) Oh! It sounds like she's here! (Feels the ground shaking) A-And the ground is shaking! What is the meaning of this!?

Soldier #1: (Sees two large figures coming towards the area) Wait! Stop right the-GAH! (Gets his head grabbed by a giant hand, then later shocked with green lightning) AAAAHHH!

(King Sadala hears some screams on the far right, while seeing a light green shine)

King Sadala: It appears, my citizens that a monster has arrived at the palace! (Sees one of the giant figures coming towards him) W-Who are you!? S-Stay away! W-What do you want from me!? (Gets his head grabbed by a giant hand, then shocked with green lightning) GAAAAHHHH! (Falls on the floor, after the giant figure lets go)

Kale: (Sits on the throne, smiles maliciously at the camera) Keep looking at me, or else you'll be turned into the rest of them! (Points at the soldiers, who are turned into berserker saiyans) Fellow saiyans! I am Kale. I am one of the subjects that Celeste, that bitch of a scientist, tested on, just so that she could create a super weapon. A weapon that could turn saiyan soldiers into unstoppable fighting machines. She did succeed in doing that, but… Hehehe! She's gone. I'd killed her with my own bare hands! No longer will you have to suffer from her!

Cameraman: Whew! That's good news.

Kale: From now on, you will be following my orders! I will turn this race into a powerful one. One, whose power rivals the gods! We will become the berserker race! You will look like me, act more wild like I do, and be only driven in killing anything that moves! Anything that breathes airs of life. Anything that looks directly at you! And most importantly, anything that isn't a saiyan! In order for you to join this moment, I have to spread a virus. Gladly, this is an easy step to take. Look at the other soldiers who have been turned to look like me. (Camera turns to see Cabba, the soldiers, and guards turned into berserker saiyans) It would be best to follow my words and allow this virus to become your new power. It will thank you for having you as it's new host. You will no longer be the weak link in a relationship. You will raise above the rest! No one will tell you what to do! Only me. I will tell you what to do. Hehehehe!

Cameraman: (Angrily looks at Kale) You can't do that! The king is-

Kale: Not in commission to rule. Because he's me now. (Sees the king stand up, becoming a berserker)

Cameraman: No! It can't be!

Kale: Berserkers! Attack him! Leave no part of him behind!

(Berserkers attack and rip apart the cameraman)

Kale: Hmhmhmh! I'm going to enjoy this!

The virus spread like a wild fire. Kale, now queen of the berserker saiyans, had done what Celeste wanted to do the entire time. She created a race that was capable to rival other races for the sake of destruction. Kale, still wrathful of Limo's death and the fact that she has this deadly virus inside of her, develops a liking to how it feels. This only lead to her being delusional, crazy, and insane. She took control of the planet's government, turning them to berserker saiyans. Whenever a saiyan doesn't allow oneself to turn into a berserker, Kale will have them kill them. Their body parts are later used as food, as the berserkers are now cannibals, due to the virus distorting their thinking processes. Now that she is queen and most powerful figure of the berserker saiyans, Kale has to think of something: "What about Caulifla?" She knows that she is taking this a bit too much about the conquering of planets and her own race, but she still cares about her own friend. She decides to go and find her, hoping that Caulifla is still herself.

Caulifla's Hideout (Two Weeks after breakout)…

Caulifla, who has been hiding in her hideout from the berserkers, has been thinking about Kale. She worries about her. She fears that Kale has lost her mind. She hears an explosion from the entrance. She is currently in her room, sheltering herself from the world. She fears that one of the berserkers broke in, finally be able to find her location. If one of them touches her, then she is done for. She'll become one of them. She feels the room, the entire area, shaking from the footsteps of the berserkers. Caulifla has to be brave, like she always has. She gets into positions, waiting for the berserkers to come at her with their best shots. The shaking stops, revealing a green light from behind Caulifla's door. She is confused of why they haven't barged in. She slowly opens the door, wanting to see if her thoughts are right. She finally sees Kale, who has grown a bit taller than the last time she saw her in her berserker state. Approximately eight feet tall now. Caulifla would like to hug Kale, but fears that she might get effected. "Kale!? W-Why are you doing here? A-Are you here to see me?" said Caulifla, becoming more worried of what will her former friend do to her. "Caulifla...I want to see you again, before...I turn you into one of me. A berserker with an absolute power level. You will never worry about getting hurt. Or damaged by a powerful explosion. You can be stronger than super saiyan three! What do you say, Caulifla? Agree with me?" said Kale, in her more deeper tone of voice, as he extends her arm towards Caulifla. The saiyan thug tries to think of a better way for Kale to understand. She steps back, saying to Kale that she does not want to go into that path. This makes Kale upset that her own friend is rejecting a deal of a lifetime. Caulifla says that this life has been destroying the planet for a couple of weeks now and she just wants Kale to return back to who she was. "Well, Caulifla...If you want me to be normal, then...You got your wish!" said Kale, as she tackles Caulifla by grabbing her in a bear hug. She shocks Caulifla, hearing her screams of pain, while covering her in green lightning. Kale laughs wickedly and loudly, as she finally gets her friend to join the berserkers, even though she had to force it out of her. With that, Caulifla has become a berserker, with green hair, blank eyes, and a tall frame of muscles and pale skin. Kale tells her that she is mine and they are going to have a good time together. Spreading more destruction across the cosmos. Kale and Caulifla destroy their base, leaving it into a debris pile.
