Caulifla and Kale What IF: Chapter Twenty-Six- "Bloated Birthday?"

Caulifla's Hideout (Night)...

Kale walks up to the front entrance of the hideout, after doing a whole day of errands for Caulifla. She is confused as to why Caulifla would be hurried for her to leave the hideout. Is she hiding something for her? The shy Saiyan girl knocks on the door while carrying some bags in her hands. One of the errands on the long list Caulifla gave to her was buying more meat at the butcher store. The door opens to reveal Caulifla and a big ass cake in front of her. She carries the cake in front of her so that she can say... "Happy Birthday, Kale! You're turning fifteen!" said Caulifla, as she grins wide. Kale blushes and looks at the tall cake in front of her. So, that was why she had to do all of those errands outside of the hideout! "Oh, Caulifla. You shouldn't have. For a second there, I thought you forgot about my birthday" said Kale, as she enters the hideout with the bags. Caulifla carefully places the cake on a table, so that she can get ready for the birthday wish. Kale puts the meat in the fridge, before going into the kitchen area for her cake. She didn't expect Caulifla to bake a cake for her. Or did she? Caulifla states that she did make this cake for her. "I'd followed the rules of the recipe and got the ingredients for it. I just hope that those were the right ones" said Caulifla. Even though she could have gotten Kale a cake from the bakery, she wanted this day to be special for her. She had to bake a cake and bake it she did! Kale sits on a chair, staring at the cake. It's almost two feet tall with white buttercream and over three layers of cake and frosting. "Well, Kale. What's your wish?" said Caulifla, as she sits next to her sister in arms. Kale thinks real hard on this wish. She follows the normal tradition of keeping the wish to herself for it to happen. She closes her eyes, takes a deep breath, and... "I want to be...big." are Kale's thoughts, before she blows off the burning candles off of her cake. Caulifla cheers on for her sister's wish, clapping in the progress. Afterward, the two eat the damn cake whole. Caulifla got half and Kale got half. They were full from it, rubbing their stomachs in glee. Kale never felt this happy on her special day. Turning fifteen years old is a start to her new life. A new life with Caulifla.

The two go to bed for the night, happy that the dinner/dessert has been wonderful. Kale gets into her pink nightgown for the night. She thinks of what will tomorrow bring for her. She has training with Caulifla, more errands around the hideout, and lots more. Before she could go to bed, she hears his stomach gurgling. She stops on the right side of her bed to check the noise. She looks down, seeing her stomach gurgling. "Uh...I think my tummy is digesting the cake as we speak. Nothing too serious." said Kale, as she brushes this off. She gets under her sheets, lays her body on the bed, and finally falls asleep. During the full eight hours of sleep, nothing looks to be weird, until the five-hour mark hits. Kale's stomach continues to gurgle louder. She doesn't hear this, due to her sleeping. Her stomach later begins to bloat. It sounds like air is filling up her stomach without her noticing. This continues until it eventually stops.

Morning...

Kale wakes up from her long sleep. She looks at her alarm clock, seeing the time. "6 am. Good. That will be enough time for breakfast to be-" said Kale, as she hears the gurgling again. She pauses to hear it again. It's louder than the last time she heard it. She looks down, fearing that her stomach is still making it. She is right, but it's worse. Her stomach has grown bigger overnight. It's now the size of her head. Kale sees the bump under her nightgown, terrified of what had happened. She carefully moves off of her bed, while hearing the gurgles from her bloated belly. She walks up to the dresser mirror, while her belly moves up and down from her movement. This feels weird for her. Kale reaches to the dresser, seeing into the body mirror. Her stomach is big! It looks like Kale might be three months pregnant. "Ah! W-What should I do!? If Caulifla sees me like this, she'll think that I've gotten fat! Well...not really. I just have a bigger stomach. Uh...What had happened last night? Was it my wish? I did ask to be big, but not in a physical means. I thought I would be big as an adult since I'm fifteen years old now. Uh, it doesn't matter. I have to hide this from-" said Kale, as she hears her door knocking. The startles her a bit that her stomach jumps from this. Belly gurgling louder from that jump-scare. "Kale! Are you awake!? We need to talk!" said Caulifla. Kale sweats nervously from the thought of Caulifla seeing her bloated stomach. She has to make a decision. Show her the belly and explain how she got this way, or...don't answer the door.

"I would just ignore her, but...Caulifla would get angry at me for it. I have to answer. B-But..." [Looks at her stomach-*gurgle!] "W-what if she sees me like this?"

"Kale!?"

"C-Coming!" [Walks to the door; stomach wiggles up and down as she walks- *gurgle-gurgle-gurgle-gurgle] "H-here goes." [Opens the door] "Caulifla? I-I can explain. Huh?" [Looks at Caulifla's bloated stomach] "What the-"

"Yeah. I wanted to tell you about what we ate last night. And before you come to conclusions, I have to make this clear to you. I did put the right ingredients in that cake batter, but we ran out of milk. I had to find a new substance for the cake, so I used fizzy water. I thought that it could be a good substitute for milk. Also, it might be the fizzy water that cures bloating or stomach pains. Since we don't have any of those, we just got bloated bellies. Are you getting me, Kale?"

"Uh..." [Makes a confused expression]

"I'm guessing that's a yes. Anyways, we have to wait for the bellies to shrink back to normal. For now, we have to go through our days as is."

"W-Why? I don't want to go there and let people see my belly! Not when it's like this!" [Pats her stomach-*gurgle!]

"It will be fine, Kale. If anyone makes fun of how big your stomach is, I'll beat their asses up! You got to trust me." [Pats Kale on the back] "Now get dressed. We have a big day ahead of us!"

"Are you saying that as a joke, Caulifla?"

"Maybe, but I might be not."

"Oh..."

"Try to make a smile, Kale! Everything will be fine!" [Leaves the room to her room]

"Hm..." [Looks at her stomach shyly] (I don't think that this stomach will give me good luck today. I look ridiculous with this belly in the way. There has to be a while for me to reduce it.)

"Kale!?"

"Uh, y-yes?"

"We're training after breakfast at the deserted area! Got it!?"

"Right!" [blushes, while looking at her stomach] "I have to deal with it for now. Time to get dressed." [Shuts the door]

Twenty Minutes Later (Living Room Area)...

Kale enters the living room in her usual outfit. She feels embarrassed at what she looks like now. With the bloated belly in the way, she looks like a three to a four-month pregnant woman. She can still feel her stomach gurgle from every move that she makes. Even if she's not walking. Kale sees Caulifla sitting on the couch, watching TV. She does want to make this day good for both her and Caulifla, but she can't break the thought of her bloated stomach being in the way of this. She walks over to the couch and sits next to Caulifla, who's rubbing her stomach. Her stomach is as big as Kale's, yet this doesn't bother her at all. She's liking this bloated belly of hers. She smiles a little, while she rubs the bottom part of her bloated gut. Kale becomes a bit envious of what her sister in arms could do, but she couldn't. She just had to make a wish of her wanting to be big. "Kale? I have been thinking. Cabba gave me some money to buy us some food. I was thinking of us going to this restaurant in North City and eating breakfast there. I would like to try out their country ham and buttermilk pancakes! How about it, Kale?" said Caulifla. Kale doesn't know how to respond to it. She does want breakfast, but does it have to be outside of the hideout. Her stomach gurgles from this, wanting the shy Saiyan to agree to the term. "Well, I am pretty hungry from that cake last night. Uh...B-But what about the people in the city? W-will they-" said Kale, before Caulifla interrupts her by slamming her hand onto her stomach. Gurgling sounds and her belly bouncing from that impact made Kale pause. "Kale! Stop being so nervous about what people will say about her tummy. You have to start ignoring the thoughts that are in your head and go with them. This is supposed to be our day" said Caulifla, as she grins towards her shy friend while caressing on her belly. Kale blushes more from how Caulifla's soft hand is rubbing against her huge stomach. Her stomach gurgles again from this, 'liking' the rubbing. Kale finally gives in and agrees to the terms. After that, the two girls leave the hideout to the city for their breakfast.

North City, Diner (Thirteen Minutes Later)...

Caulifla and Kale managed to get to the diner for their breakfast. Going inside has their stomach growling and wobbling around in hunger. Kale doesn't like it and tries to hide it from others. Caulifla seems to not care about her stomach's actions. She just smells the good food here. The two go to the far left of the diner, next to a nearby window. Kale sits on the right, while Caulifla sits on the left. Both grab a menu off of the table, reading what the diner has for breakfast. Caulifla sees a picture of buttermilk pancakes topped with maple syrup and whipped cream. She drools a little, as her stomach gurgles from the hunger. She wants those pancakes. As for Kale, she's still looking around the menu. Since she wants to lose all of this bloating, she doesn't want to get any baked breakfast goods, such as bagels or muffins. She does see the pictures for them, yet her stomach gurgles and moves a little from the hunger. Kale sees this, nervous about what the other people around her are going to say. She later thinks of what Caulifla said about just going with it. Kale thinks this real hard, while her stomach keeps gurgling. "Kale? Are you still with me? Kale!" said Caulifla, as she tries to snap Kale off of her stomach distraction. Kale looks at her friend with worried eyes, saying that she is sorry for dozing off like that.

"It doesn't matter, Kale. Have you picked a meal for breakfast yet?" said Caulifla, as she places the menu off to the side. She knows what she's getting, but for Kale...The shy Saiyan is having some second thoughts. When the waiter comes to their table, wanting their orders, Caulifla has to make a quick decision for her friend. "Yes, man. Me and my friend would like to have some of the buttermilk pancakes. Can you make mine what the pictures look like? And for Kale, she will have the ones with the chocolate chips inside" said Caulifla to the waiter. Kale becomes shocked and paused at what her friend just said. She was still in a decision on whether or not to go for the bacon and eggs or the breakfast sandwich. The waiter leaves at a fast pace, leaving the girls to sit there in silence. A few minutes later, the waiter comes back with high stacks of pancakes. One with the whipped cream and maple syrup for Caulifla and one chocolate chip for Kale. He places the two stacks of buttermilk pancakes on the table for the girls to eat. Caulifla smiles at how big the pancakes are. She is going to be full for almost five hours, after eating these pancakes. Kale, on the other hand, nervously looks at her stack with worry. She didn't want the pancakes, because of what had happened with the cake. Sure, Caulifla was trying her best to bake her a cake on her special day, but it was with fizzy water. And fizzy water makes her stomach go bloaty! Caulifla already digs into her stack, while Kale stays still, looking at her stack of pancakes. Caulifla stops eating halfway to see if her friend is eating her stack. Looks like Kale isn't going to eat her pancakes. She needs some kind of motivation for the shy saiyan to eat her breakfast. She doesn't want her to starve herself thin, because of a little bloating issue from last night.

"Kale? Why aren't you eating your stack of pancakes? Are you thinking of that bloated but of yours?" [Raised her eyebrows at Kale]

"Uh...It's just that I...Needed to lay off the bread-like food and watch my figure. Looking at this stomach is strange. It's bigger than my head, it gurgles when I walk, and it feels weird to sit with it around."

"Kale. You don't see me complaining about this bloated but on me. Do you?"

"I don't. How is it that you're not worried about your stomach?"

"Because I'm used to it. Eating a lot of meat on a daily does give me a bit of comfort. The best part is rubbing it, after eating food. It feels so great to touch the squishy stomach often. It's not like you've gained a few pounds. Bloating is just air in your stomach from all of the fizzy water in that cake. Just eat okay? We have to train and other things ahead of us."

"O-Okay." [Looks at the pile of pancakes] "I do like chocolate chip pancakes." [Eats her stack of pancakes with Caulifla]

A Few Minutes Later...

{Kale and Caulifla rub their slightly bigger stomachs after eating their breakfast}

"Aw, yeah! Those pancakes were amazing!" [pats her stomach-*Gurgle!]

"You were right, Caulifla. Mmmm." [blushes, while rubbing her stomach] "Rubbing my bloated tummy like this is comforting."

"What did I tell you, Kale? It's not a big deal with a bloated stomach. We just have to wait for the bloating to stop. At some point. I don't know how much fizzy water I put into that cake."

"Really?" [Raised her eyebrow at Caulifla]

"Yeah. I didn't tell you that part. Anywho, we should be going right now. Ugh! Oof! I'm guessing that stack of pancakes was a bit dense. Hm!" [Stands up, holding her bloated gut-*Boing!-Gurgle] "Maybe we should have a bit of meat along with those pancakes."

"Oof! Ngh!" [Stands up, holding her bloated tummy-*Boing-Gurgle!] "You're right. I feel heavy, now that I've eaten something. Are you sure that we should be training, Caulifla?"

"I'm sure. Besides, this should be some kind of workout for us. Now, come on! We have to leave before the food bursts out of our bodies." [Slowly walks out of the diner with Kale behind her]

Deserted Area (Twenty Minutes Later)...

Caulifla and Kale are now in the deserted area, ready for their training to begin. Kale is still thinking of whether or not the bloated stomachs would be in the way of their training. She doesn't want anything to come up and her vomiting on the ground. The same would go for Caulifla. Her stack of pancakes was a bit higher than Kale's. She tells Caulifla about the bloated stomachs and how they are going to train. "Oh! Right. We just ate and don't want to get a lot sick afterward. How about this, Kale? We go into our super Saiyan forms and train there. Does that solve things?" said Caulifla. Kale thinks of her super Saiyan form being able to have rock-hard abs. Maybe that would reduce the bloating? She agrees to the idea, transforming it into her super Saiyan form. Caulifla does this as well. Kale, now in her super Saiyan form, looks down, seeing that her stomach is a bit smaller than before. She looks at Caulifla, confused as to why her stomach isn't shrinking in her super Saiyan form. She thinks that Caulifla doesn't form abs on her waist to be able to reduce it a little. The two get into positions, ready for their training to start. The two fight for the next thirty minutes, until something unexpected happens. Kale stops fighting to feel her stomach growling and gurgling louder than the previous times. She holds onto her bloated abs, feeling queasy about what is about to occur. "Kale? What seems to be the-" said Caulifla, as she sees Kale burping out of her mouth. Kale burps so loudly, that a powerful wave pushes Caulifla a few inches away from her. Kale covers her mouth, blushing a little from that experience. She didn't expect her burp to be this powerful. She later feels her stomach shrinking a little from that. "Hey! C-Caulifla! My stomach! It got smaller! I guess that burping the gas out makes it smaller" said Kale, smiling at Caulifla. The saiyan thug has an idea for this. She doesn't tell this to Kale, as she charges towards her. Kale becomes confused at this, wanting to know what her friend is about to do. Caulifla bumps her stomach against Kale's pushing her a few inches away. Her stomach later begins to gurgle and growl from this. "BBBBRRRRRRRRRUUUUUUUPPPPP!" said Caulifla, as she burps out of her mouth. A green light wave travels out of Caulifla's mouth and to Kale's direction. She covers her face from this. Caulifla's bloated stomach shrinks a little from this, meaning that her idea is working.

"Hey, Kale! I think I know how we're going to get our normal stomachs again! Press your stomach against mine and maybe we can burp the gas out!" said Caulifla, walking closer to Kale. The shy saiyan thinks this idea could work. She still feels some gurgling from Caulifla's stomach bump. She agrees, walking closer to Caulifla. The two meet together in the middle, touching their stomachs together. "N-Now what, Caulifla?" said Kale, feeling a bit awkward in pressing her stomach against her friend's stomach like this. Caulifla tells her to keep pressing until they continue to burp out the gas out of their bloated bodies. The two continue to press their stomachs, burp out gas, and watch their stomachs shrink back to normal. A few minutes later, the two girl's stomachs are flat and normal! Kale feels relieved in having her thin stomach again. It was both a good and awkward moment for a bloated stomach, but Kale likes it. Caulifla feels relieved as well in having her stomach back. "I hope that you can fully take my apology for putting fizzy water into your birthday cake, Kale," said Caulifla. "I can take that apology, Caulifla. Thanks for the cake! I didn't know that fizzy water would make it so fluffy and chewy. Maybe you should do it again" said Kale, smiling bigger. Caulifla becomes backed by this. She didn't expect her friend to say that so proudly before. She smiles wide as well, happy to do the cake thing again for her. After that, the two return to their hideout, knowing that their bloated morning was a good one to start the day.
