Caulifla and Kale What IF: Chapter Twenty-Eight- "Adopting a Pet?"
Caulifla's Hideout, Backyard (Morning)...
After breakfast, Kale and Caulifla walk to the backyard of their hideout for some morning training. Once they go outside, they see a big crater in the middle of the yard. Caulifla rudely questions why there is a big crater in their backyard. Kale guesses that it could be the case of a meteorite landing here, while they were asleep. "Oh, that could explain why I've heard an explosion during my sleep. I thought of it as a part of my dream. Well, what the hell are we supposed to do with this?" said Caulifla, as she looks at the crater impatiently. While she is doing that, Kale looks deeper into the crater, seeing a small green item sliding out of the rock. She tells Caulifla that she saw something, but the tough saiyanness isn't listening to her. Kale ignores this, sliding into the crater. She slides near the meteorite, seeing a lot of holes. The moving item could have escaped from one of these holes to come out. Kale looks around the huge rock until she sees the item next to her feet. She looks down, seeing a small green go with black beady eyes. It looks up, seeing the shy Saiyan. Its eyes shine in innocence and purr from this. "Aw! You look so adorable! Are you lost, little guy?" said Kale, as she picks up the green goo by her arms. The goo nods its head, agreeing to the answer. Kale gasps from this, worried about the goo's safety here. It's lost and its parents are probably looking for him. She has to take care of this until its parents do come here to pick it up. Kale flies out of the crater, landing next to Caulifla, who finally figures out how to deal with this. "How about we toss the meteorite to space and fix up this crater with dirt and rock? That will fix the yard and we can-Uh...Kale? Why do you have a goo thing in your arms?" said Caulifla, as she sees her friend holding the goo so softly.
"Caulifla? I've found this goo inside of the rock. It's lost and it needs our care. I believe that its parents will come to find him. Can we keep it Caulifla? I'll take care of it, feed it, and wash it with love" said Kale, as she smiles at the goo, who blushes by the look of the girl's smile. Caulifla makes a comical shocked expression from this reply. She yells at Kale for making this decision. She disagrees with the whole thing, saying that this good could attack them at any point. "If we keep that thing, it will destroy us and even the Saiyans on Sadala. I'm sorry, Kale, but we can't keep that thing here. It's going to space, where it belongs!" said Caulifla, as she yanks the goo off of Kale's arms. The shy Saiyan's eyes widen in shock from her friend yelling at her and taking away the only creature. She was starting to like her and Caulifla decided to ruin it. As Caulifla morphs the goo into a ball, Kale begins to become angry. Angry about losing one creature with a genuine connection to her. The Saiyan tells Caulifla to stop while showing a light green light around her body. Caulifla sees this, telling Kale to not feel bad about her tossing the goo into space. "It can breathe in space. There's nothing to be worried abou-OUCH!" said Caulifla, as Kale punches her in the face. She lets go of the goo, after being punched, allowing it to fall into Kale's arms. It and Kale glow a now brightening green light, as Caulifla gets off from that punch. "There is no way I'm allowing you to toss this innocent creature into space! It looks like it could be a baby and that would be cruel to leave it without any parents to support it. I'm keeping it and you will have to show some respect! Try anything bad towards this adorable thing, or I will show no mercy, Caulifla! I MEAN IT!" said Kale, as she releases a powerful energy wave at Caulifla, who gets blown more from it. The tough Saiyan girl is resilient towards authority, but when it comes to Kale and her angry outbursts, then she has to agree to what she says. Knowing that your friend is powerful enough to leave injuries far beyond repair could mean terrible karma for Caulifla. She gets up, sees Kale's angry expression becoming worse, and agrees to the turns, reluctantly. Kale calms down a little, saying to Caulifla that the goo is not harmful and is just a baby. She also apologizes for her angry outburst towards her, before going back to the hideout for some planning. Caulifla feels something that angering Kale would mean a disaster will fall upon her. She has to be careful not to let it happen again. She nervously follows Kale and the goo into the hideout for some awkward moments over the past two days or so.
Two Days or So Later...
Two days later, the two Saiyan females and their gooey pet have been doing well. Kale and the goo creature have been more close together. It follows her to the kitchen, her bedroom, and sleeps with her at night. Kale is starting to warm up to it as the days go by. As for Caulifla, she is having some thoughts about how this thing is getting along with Kale, but not her. Everything she tries to grab by hand, growls or scoots away from her. She even tried yelling for it to leave her alone, but that attached Kale's attention. And she already knows how angry Kale gets when her 'possessions' get touched or damaged. Caulifla has never seen her friend this protective over this thing. Yet, no matter what or how her friend sees in this thing, it's here for a reason. There is no way for a goo life creature to land here and become someone's pet. It's here for conquering this planet and Caulifla is going to stop it. Kale tells Caulifla to watch over her goo pet, while she goes shopping for more pet food. She shuts the door, flies away from the hideout, leaving Caulifla and the goo thing alone. This is the perfect time to get rid of it once and for all. All before Kale figures out she did it.
"Okay, freak." [Looks at the goo] "I'm going to send you far away. Away from here, so that you can't kill anyone. And I don't fear Kale! Even though...she has two forms that can truly hurt me if she does find out about what happened to you."
"..."
"If I do get rid of you, I'll tell Kale that you ran off to your home planet. Or your parents came and picked you up without telling her. Yeah! I think she'll buy into those lies. Now, for the plan to work!" [Smiles, while picking up the goo thing]
{Caulifla walks outside, gets in positions, and chugs the goo into space}
"Ha-Hah! There you go! Now, I just have to wait for Kale to come back to the hideout and tell her the 'news' Hehehe! I chugged that thing far away from here. There's no way it can-"
"Purr!" [Sticks onto Caulifla's back]
"What the-" [Sees the goo on her back] "What the hell did you-"
"Purr!" [Puppy eyes Caulifla]
"Don't give me that crap! You're faking it!" [Forcefully pulls off the goo, tossing it harder into space] "There! You can't possibly-"
"Purr!" [Sits on Caulifla's head]
"Crap! How did you get on me!?" [Grabs the goo, tossing it even harder into space] "THERE!"
"Purr!"
"Aw, crap! Where are you now!?"
"Purr!" [hides in Caulifla's bosom]
"Huh?" [Looks at her chest, jiggling from the goo] "Hey! Get out of there! NOW!" [Pulls the goo out of her bosom] "No one goes in there, but me!"
"Purr!"
"Fine! If tossing you in space isn't going to get rid of you, then I guess I have to destroy you for good!"
{Caulifla runs into the fridge, places the goo in the freezer, waits for a few minutes, and pulls out a frozen goo}
"Let's see if you can survive being crushed, while frozen! Hah!" [Slams the goo on the floor, breaking it into pieces] "I win!" [Leaves the kitchen triumphantly]
{Goo thaws itself in seconds, before merging back into whole}
"I wait for Kale to come back and probably change the lie so that it can be truthful to her. But what lie could I-"
"Purr!" [Looks up at Caulifla]
"No! Purring is not going to-" [Eyes comically widened, while slowly turning to the goo] "What. The. Hell!?" [Makes an angry expression, standing up]
"Purr!" [tilts its head]
"Don't give me that crap either! Guess I have to stomp your ass to break you! Ugh!" [Stomps on goo, only for her to slip] "Whoa! Oof!" [falls on her back]
"Purr! Purr!" [Laughs a little]
"Don't laugh! How about I burn you alive!?" [Grabs the goo, runs into the kitchen, turns on the oven, and throws the goo in it]
Several Minutes Later...
{Goo comes out of the over completely fine}
"Great!" [Fans her face in heat] "It didn't work and I got all sweaty, because of you! That's it! I'm going to do something that I should have done before! Blowing you UP!" [Grabs the goo and runs out of the hideout]
Caulifla turns super Saiyan while running to the back entrance of the hideout. She just had enough of this goo surviving any possible injury she could think about. Throwing it in space, burning it, and freezing it didn't work. She could only think of blowing it up that will get rid of this goo creature. She tosses it into the air, but not too far. She charges up her Crush Cannon attack, before realizing it. The goo explodes, once the attack hits its point-blank. Pieces of goo fall on the ground, meaning that the creature is no more. Caulifla jumps all around, happy that her plan has finally worked and she can go on with the rest of it. Before returning to the hideout, the goo begins to growl all of a sudden. She slowly turns around, nervously, not wanting to know what will happen next. The goo doesn't merge into one being again, but it forms multiple versions of itself. The army of goo creatures stares at Caulifla, angry at her trying to kill it with an energy blast. Caulifla swears to herself for what she has done. The goo army charges at the tough saiyan girl with fury. Caulifla quickly runs into the hideout, shutting the door. This doesn't stop the army, as they were able to slide under the door, chasing the girl inside of the hideout. The army and Caulifla hilariously run around the hideout. This goes on for two hours until Kale comes home.
Outside of the hideout, Kale returns with two bags of pet food and other essentials. She says to herself how the goo and Caulifla are doing. "I hope that they're doing what I'm thinking. Cuddling, watching TV, and all being cute at the same time. Hehehe! I'm going to be proud of Caulifla for being acceptable in this decision" said Kale, as she opens the door, seeing the couches moved aggressively, the windows broken, and the walls having marks. Caulifla, who dropped out of her super Saiyan form, is still being chased by the army of goo behind her. Kale becomes surprised, shocked, and flabbergasted of what she is seeing. She drops the bags to the floor, because of this moment. Her chest beats hard, her face turns hot, and her expression turns from being shocked to getting angry. "STOP RIGHT NOW!" said Kale, as she shakes the room from her voice alone. Caulifla and the army of goo stop what they were doing, looking at Kale, who has a sassy, angry position. You know the one with her arms crossed and her angry pout. The army merges to make the whole goo pet, before crawling to where Kale is at. It rubs its head around her legs, trying to calm her down. Caulifla, now terrified of how to explain this to her friend, slowly, but nervously walks up to her. "K-Kale? L-Let me explain here. You see,...u-uh...Me and the goo thing were playing around here. Yeah! We were playing ball, before going into Tag. We were so into the game, that we caused this mess you're seeing right now. Hehehehe! T-There's nothing to get mad about, Kale. We were just playing with each other" said Caulifla, now sweating nervously from the angered tension of Kale. The shy saiyan isn't used to being angry at her friend, but when it comes to this pet, she has to do what she needs to do. She walks a bit closer to Caulifla, while still having her arms crossed in rage. She slowly replies to her friend of exactly what happened while she was gone. "Tell me the truth, Caulifla. I've been in your gang long enough to know that you lie perfectly well. And I should know that you still have a tension of how this goo pet is going to destroy us one day! I don't believe in your beliefs. I used to, but looking at this thing made me change my mind. It isn't here to destroy Sadala. It was lost and you better apologize to it and me! Do you understand, CAULIFLA!?" said Kale, as saying her friend's name shook the room again. Caulifla knew that Kale's experience in the gang would pay off. So, she explains her true plans of getting rid of the creature, while Kale was out shopping. She burned it, she tossed it into space as hard as she could, and she even froze it and crushed it to the ground. The damn thing is indestructible.
"I'm sorry for what I had to do, Kale. From how you were treating it, I thought that thing was about to eat you. Or even worse, trying to take over your mind. I was just doing this to protect you. Please. Please with cherries on top, don't hurt me. I'm your-AGH!" said Caulifla until Kale punches her so hard that she is sent flying back into the wall. A dent is formed, along with a black eye on the tough Saiyan's face. Kale yells at her for keeping this to herself. She thought she was her friend till the very end. She leaves the area with the goo pet, leaving Caulifla to think on this hard. She wants this relationship to be whole again. And a single goo pet is being in the way of it. Night falls upon them, as they are getting ready for their sleep. Caulifla knocks on Kale's door, hoping to get another apology in, before going into her snooze time. Kale does open the door, making her irritated, yet tired expression to her friend. The goo is on her bed, getting comfortable. Caulifla apologizes to her friend again, saying dearly that she wants her friends to last. "I am willing to be friends with your pet goo if you can stop being so upset with me. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings, Kale. I was-" said Caulifla until Kale interrupted. "I know, Caulifla. I've changed, after the tournament. This pet is special to me because he understands me. He knows that I am special to him and how gentle I am towards him. If you want to be friends with me and Slimy. Slimy is the name I've given him as of today. If you want to be friends with me again, you and Slimy will have to have a connection with each other. Make some time together" said Kale. Caulifla looks at the goo, while Slimy looks at her. He purrs at her, after hearing Kale's request. Caulifla growls softly so that Kale doesn't hear her. She smiles at Kale with the best attempt she could get and says she accepts the offer. After that, the two go to bed.
The Next Day (Morning)...
{Kale wakes up, stretching her arms}
"Ahhh! Nothing like waking up in the morning with Slimy. How are you feeling today, Slimy?" [Sees nothing on her right] "Huh? W-Where are you?" [Looks around frantically] "Slimy! Slimy! Where are you!?" [Jumps off of the bed, searching more]
"Kale? What's going on?" [Opens Kale's door, seeing her running around for Slimy]
"I'm looking for Slimy! Where is he!?" [Looks at Caulifla and her sudden swollen stomach] "C-Caulifla? Why is your stomach big?"
"Huh?" [Looks at her stomach] "What the hell!? Is this be the bloating from the meat last night?"
"I don't care! Where is Slimy!?" [Runs up to Caulifla] "He was sleeping with me last night and he couldn't have left during the night! I have to have him here!" [Shakes Caulifla out of fear] "I NEED HIM HERE! HE HAS TO BE HERE!" [Cries comically]
"Kale! S-Stop shaking me! I-I can look for him for you! STOP!"
{Caulifla's stomach gurgles, glows green}
"What the-" [Looks at Caulifla's glowing stomach] "S-Slimy?"
"H-He's inside of me!?" [Looks at her stomach in shock]
"Purr!"
"He is inside of you! WHY!?"
"I think...he wanted to get close to me. He felt sorry for what he did to me and made you mad towards me. This is his way of connecting with me. As a promise." [Smiles] "Slimy? You can come out. I think that this is the best apology you could give to me."
"PURR!" [Slides up through Caulifla's throat, out of her mouth, and lands on the floor, looking at Kale]
"Slimy!" [Grabs Slimy, hugging him] "I'm so glad that you haven't left me!"
"Cagh! Gah! Dammit! I didn't think that he would do that!"
"Caulifla? Are you sure that Slimy is a good pet to you?"
"Sure, Kale. I'll do anything for you. Even if that means letting Slimy in our hideout." [Smiles at Kale and Slimy]
"Good! Now, let's get some breakfast!"
"Hell yeah!"
"PURR!"
{Caulifla, Kale, and Slimy walk out of the room to the kitchen}
