Three years later...
A nineteen-year-old boy dressed in a black coat walked through the forest, suddenly a bird flew to him with a note tied to his leg, the blond man took the note and read it.
"I think it's time to go home," he said, and a smile flashed across his face
Sometime later at the Hokage's office...
"So I'm supposed to investigate the village where someone is kidnapping the inhabitants?" Sarada asked
"Yes"
"If that's all the mission is about, it shouldn't be difficult"
"Fortunately, I decided to send you two on this mission"
"Two?"
At this point, Boruto entered the office.
"Yo Konohamaru-nii, Sarada"
"Boruto, are you my mission partner?"
"It looks"
"Boruto already knows what the task is, Sarada too, go get ready"
"Hai"
Boruto and Sarada left the office and went to get ready.
"I'll meet you in half an hour outside the village gate," Sarada announced
"Good good"
The two split up, Boruto went to his apartment.
"I haven't been here for three years, I'm curious about my new apartment"
When the blonde walked inside, he was greeted by his sister.
"Onii-chan you're back"
"Just for a moment, I'm going on a mission in a moment"
"Yo Boruto"
At this point, Naruto came out of the salon, which surprised his son with his presence.

Meanwhile, in the Uchiha residence, Sarada started to pack various items for the mission, a moment later Sakura came to her room, carrying a two-year-old boy (he had short black hair and green eyes)
"Are you going on a mission with Boruto?"
"Yes"
"Good luck, I hope the two of you will find it within themselves."
"What do you mean?" the daughter asked, raising an eyebrow
"You will understand soon"
"I see, then you managed to defeat Momoshiki's soul and thereby take over his soul?"
"That's right, now I can use it as my own"
"Amazing, I would like to see how strong you have become"
"When I get back we can arrange it, if of course you can keep up with me, old man," said Boruto jokingly.
"I'm not that old yet, I'm only thirty-eight"
"Boruto! Let's go"
"Good time for me to see you"
Boruto and Sarada left the village for the village of Taronokuni. After some time it got late, they both agreed to set up the camp, Sarada took care of setting up the tents while Boruto went to arrange the firewood, a few moments later everything was ready.
"Ne Boruto what were you doing after you left the village?"
"I mainly traveled the world, sometimes people hired me for various tasks, sometimes simple and sometimes deadly."
"Why, why do you always have to take on some dangerous mission, what will you do when you fail and you die?" she said with a slightly nervous voice surprising the blonde
"You are a Shinobi, death awaits each of us, I would be glad to die on a mission"
"And you didn't think about the feelings of others, did you?"

Sarada stared at Boruto for a moment, eyes wide, a blush appearing on her cheeks.
"You are still an idiot"
"Thanks, you know, go get some sleep when I get my first worth"
"Well"
