4 years after the Fourth Great Ninja War, and the wars' outcome has immensely impacted Naruto's outlook on what it takes to be a shinobi. No longer a stranger to death, he throws himself into the Anbu Black Ops, essentially cutting off his emotions to do what it takes to protect the village. Is that going to prove beneficial? Or will he lose everything he loves? (Naruto x Ino)

Just a little heads up before you read.

I've already predetermined where this story is going to go...somewhat. I'm open to actual ideas past chapter 10... cuz that's all I've planned out so far lmao.

This is also my very first story I've gone public with so go easy on me. At the same time, give me constructive criticism! I'd love to get better, since there's always room for improvement.

If the next page seems vague, it is for a reason. Natural buildup you feel? Plus I'm essentially using the feedback for each page I put up as an incentive to post. I'm not trying to put out garbage and everyone isn't fucking with my work. As such I'm not going to mass produce anything just yet. I ain't reach that level.

Also, this is strictly a Naruto x Ino pairing. I will not turn this into a harem fic.
