I groaned as I hit snooze on my alarm clock, and mentally sighed as I checked the date. No why did it have to be today, why so soon. I know your probably wondering what I was complaining about, so let let me explain...

(Flashback)

I was recording a new song called It's Time

"Percy" called my dad's deep voice, (I should probably mention that my dad is Poseidon owner and CFO of Atlantic enterprises, Atlantic enterprises is a company that focuses on marine entertainment he owns cruise boats, aquariums and on the water hotels, they also try and help preserve the marine life but sadly that's not their main focus) "Percy where are you, theres something important I need to discuss with you" "I'm in the studio dad". Soon I heard my dad's footsteps as he walked up the stairs and into my recording studio, "Percy we need to talk", I sighed knowing that that tone of voice probably meant that I did something stupid and it was all over the tabloids by now. "Did I do something wrong" "No you didn't do anything wrong" he replied, "I actually need to talk to you about your education" "Dad I already said I don't want another tutor" I said in an aggravated voice "I know that's why I decided to send you to an actual school" I started to speak "Hold on before you interrupt me, you won't be alone at the school Nico, Jason, Leo, Grover ,Travis, Conner and frank will be going with you. You also already have your friend Luke attending there and Thalia." I started smiling, "But the bad news is you are starting in three days" he said in a cautious voice.

Today was the day that I would start attending school for like the first time in 5 years, and I wasn't going to any normal high school, I was going to Goode High

As I pulled up to the school parking lot I immediately spotted some familiar faces I parked my car ( a sea green audi r8 convertible), grabbed my bag from the passenger side and headed out towards my friends, "Luke, Thalia stop making out and give your cousin a hug" I yelled at them, they both started blushing "Well if it isn't kelp head, what an unpleasant surprise" replied Thalia, "Sup man, how'd your dad convince you to come" asked Luke. "Well it was either hear or have another year with Ms. Dodds as my teacher" I said, "Oh sorry man, but hey this place isn't to bad and luckily since I already go hear you don't have to worry about any girls chasing you" he said smirking. "Oh you wish Castellan" I replied. "Hey Perce hey Thals" I heard a voice call from behind me, I turned around and saw a head of blond hair and electric blue eyes "Hey Sparky" I called in return "When is everyone else arriving?" "The Stoll's will be here in like three minutes and Leo and Frank are coming right now and Grover should have been here a while ago" he replied. "I haven't seen goat boy yet" "knowing him he's probably in the bathroom Thals" I said in return "maybe" was the reply I got. "Oh hey Annie" Thalia called out to someone behind me "Thalia how many times do I have to tell you it's not Annie" a voice responded, my mind froze, I remembered that voice from when I was a kid. I turned around to see grey eyes and I recalled a memory.

(Flashback)

"Come on Seaweed Brain, bet I can beat you to the swings" called the girl with blonde hair, "In your dreams Wise Girl" I called in response, "Fine a race then" "On the count of three" I agreed "One, Two Th-" before I could finish she bolted off towards the swings, "No fair, I didn't finish" I yelled as I chased after her "It's not my fault your slow" she said in return. In the end I won but she argued that it was a tie, "Percy" "Yea" "Were gonna be friends forever right" "Of course, why wouldn't we be" "I just don't want to lose you" she said in a soft voice "I won't leave you Beth" I said as i stood up, she looked at me with hope in her eyes. I slowly leaned towards her face and kissed her, "I promise".

I would recognize those eyes anywhere, "Beth" I said in a soft voice, "Percy" replied the girl with grey eyes, "Hi, it's been a while"
