Percy POV:
I held my breath as I waited for a response, would she like it, would she hate it, my gods why is she taking so long to respond (all of this went through my head in like four seconds). "It's nice" she said her smile never leaving her face, "Just nice" I said with a cocky grin "I'll have you know most girls would be head over heels for that song" I said inching closer to her, "Yeah well i'm not most girls" "You got that right" I whispered to myself. "What?" "Oh nothing just talking to myself" we were only inches away now, "Ahem" interrupted a voice.
Anabeth POV:
"Ahem" interrupted a voice, I turned and saw Luke standing in the doorway to the recording studio. "Sorry to interrupt you love birds but everyone was wondering were you guys were and Leo said you both disappeared after Chemistry" I turned beet red and was about to say something when Percy intervened. "We weren't doing anything, I was singing a new song and I asked Annabeth if she liked it"
"You don't have to explain yourself, don't worry your secret is safe with me" he said with a wink "You and your dirty mind" "Annie you wound me I don't have a dirty mind just a creative one" I was about to tell him not to call me Annie (It infuriates me I know Annabeth isn't a common name but come on Annie) when he cut me off "Anyways were all in the rec room and if you guys want to do anything else hurry up cause we only go fifteen minutes left" and with that he left.
"Well I'll show you to the game room if you wan't" "Yes please" Percy replied in a childish tone, I rolled my eyes and started for the door. We walked in silence for a while which wasn't like us we used to be able to talk about anything and everything. Our conversation's right now were basically "So you listen to any of my other songs" "Um yeah a few" "Oh cool" "Yeah" it really bothered me for some reason, ever since this morning I've had this weird feeling in my chest. I feel like he's making me second guess everything, which was really annoying since I was usually so sure of myself.
I remembered that in history I noticed a tattoo on his right forearm "Why do you have that tattoo" he gave me a quizzical look "Which one", I stared at him in shock "You have more than one?" he gave me a sheepish look "I have 4" "Oh" oh seriously come on you can do better than that brain. "I meant the one on your forearm" "Oh I got it when me, Jason, Frank and Nico went to Rome we all basically got the same except Frank only has three bars and the symbol is different for each of us" "Jason, Frank ,Nico and I" I corrected smugly.
He rolled his eyes at me "Whatever" he said as he ruffled up my hair which made me me feel like a child. So of course I did the mature thing... I punched him (softly). "Ow" "Oh suck it up and be a man" "Oh your going to regret that Chase" he said as he started chasing me.
When we entered the rec room we were greeted by the stairs of everyone in there. Before I continue let me explain something that might help you understand why our friends were staring, 1 Percy's hair was really messed up from the head phones, my hair was also messed up because of Percy and we were both out of breath from me running away from Percy and Percy from chasing me. Now imagine you were a dirty minded seventeen year old yeah exactly.
"You guys okay" asked my friend Hazel, Percy being the idiot that he is said "Yeah why" "No reason".
If I wanted to get through the school year I was gonna need a lot of luck.
