Percy POV:

Well that went exactly as I thought it would, man my dad is gonna be pissed at me. Before school started I promised my dad that I would do my best to stay low key, I though I could last at least a couple weeks without anyone figuring out (well anyone I didn't willingly tell) now you know why I chose to make music instead of being a spy... I suck at being stealthy.

I quickly ran to my next class without trying to draw to much attention to myself, now I had Marine Biology (I know I'm supposed to be the cool rockstar but come on can you blame me) yeah I know I know your probably like hey that explains the nicknames (Kelp head seriously Thals), but I basically love anything that has to do with water. But before you ask no I do not surf (I've tried but I really suck at it) so don't bring it up I don't like to talk about it.

When I entered the classroom I was confused, was I in the right place. There were only seven other kids in the class, I mean come on it's not that lame of a class I checked the name on the desk and it said Mr Finester so this had to be the right place. I took my seat next to a kid who's face was plastered with light freckles. "Hi I'm Percy" "Um I'm Joshua, but you can call me Josh" he replied blowing some strands of blonde hair out of his eyes, "Why are there barely any kids in here" "Oh this is the least popular elective".

My jaw dropped (not really but you get the picture) "What!" I said a little too load and drew the attention of the rest of my classmates. "Uh sorry, carry on" I motioned for them to go back to whatever they were doing before, "Why is it the least popular" "No one really cares about all the different types of seaweed or coral" he said with a shrug. Me and Josh kept on talking about hobbies and what not, honestly I was surprised he didn't ask if I was well, me when I mentioned that I liked music, but hey alls well that ends well. When the teacher entered we all quieted down and turned towards the teacher, waiting. Mr Finester had shaggy brown hair that touched his eyebrows and soft brown eyes he was also surprisingly tan.

"Hello and welcome to my class, I am looking forward to spending the rest of the trimester with you and, not to sound cliche or anything but lets go around and say our names and our goal for this year" "I'll start, I'm Richard but you guys can call me Mr Rich or Mr Finester whatever you prefer and my goal is to get the guts and propose to my girlfriend" he said, I was starting to like this guy. As he went around pointing at people I (not purposefully) zoned most of it out thinking about what I was gonna say.

"You" he said pointing to me "Your turn", "Um, I'm Percy and my goal is to pass with grades above a C" the class started to chuckle, and I started to grin. After that I decided that Mr Rich was a cool guy and I was pretty sure I'd chose him again next trimester. After class I said goodbye to Mr Rich and told Josh that I'd see him at lunch then I headed to my next class.

Anabeth POV:

I started heading to my next class when a random person walked right into me, "Hey watch where your going next time" I said standing up and dusting off my jeans. "Sorry Wise Girl, I kinda just zoned out for a minute" I looked up to see Percy and my stomach started doing flip flops, wait what that's not right why would my stomach be doing that Percy's my friend

inconsiderate brain. "Earth to Wise Girl" Percy said while simultaneously waving a hand in front of my face. "What, sorry you were saying" "I was saying that we should get to class you have Greek now right" his face was covered with a mask of confusion, "Oh yeah your probably right"

"Glad to see your on time to my class Percy" "I wouldn't miss it for the world Mr Brunner" he let out a light chuckle "You humble, now go on and take a seat so that we can get started" he said pointing towards two desks. Me and Percy sat down next to each other and he gave me a lopsided grin, my stomach started turning again, "Stop it" I ordered myself. "What" Percy asked looking at me with concern and I realized that I must have said that out loud. "Oh nothing just talking to myself, sorry".

If this kept on happening every time he smiled at me this was going to have a lot of complications
