I knew it was coming, but it hurts nontheless. Everytime he does it, my heart aches for him to just be a normal brother and hug me. Instead, he's jumping around from every corner screaming at me like a banshee, laughing and kicking me everytime I scream and fall over. I knew that today, on my birthday, it wouldn't be different. Even with Eli dragging me everywhere, I knew Terrance would find a way to scare me more than once, and Daddy wouldn't do anything, since he was currently trying to organize the other children from causing a massacre in his own establishment. Honestly, I found it quite funny sometimes. He would run around ushering children, his accent bleeding through stronger sometiems than most, making even Terrance snort and giggle at the feeble and useless attempts our daddy makes. We do have our own moments of strong accents, but it's never usually as funny as when it happens to daddy.
"Oh oh! This is where Fredbear is! Isn't he coooool!?!?!?!?" Eli said, jumping and pointing at the big tellow bear, singing for everyone. I smiled and hugged my fredbear plush close.
"Yeah!" I said, admiring the detail and effort daddy had put into building the bear.
"Oh and Spring Bonnie! He looks cool too!" Eli said, her smile growing wider as she watched the rabbit. She had always liked Spring Bonnie more than Fredbear, but I have to admit, Spring Bonnie does look cool.
"Yeah! And his ears are really floppy," I said tilting my head when Spring Bonnie did. Before I could say anything else, a bunch of my friends from school came running over to me, saying "Happy Birthday!" and "Can you open my present first?" It was quite overwhelming, but I enjoyed it. I love my friends, because they love me. They would never do anything bad to me like Terrance and his friends do. They actually protect me whenever they see it happen. One of them grabbed my hand and starting pulling me over to the birthday table, Eli not far behind.
"Kids! It's time for the cake!" Mommy called, making everyone, me especially, get really excited as everyone had started swarming the table to get into their spots.
"That was amazing! Did you make this yourself Mrs. Afton?" Millie, my BFF asked, soundly utterly satisfied.
"Indeed I did! I'm so happy you enjoyed it!" Mommy replied, giving her a very wide and happy smile. Millie gave her one back, before running over to me.
"Let's go check out the giftshop! Sure you're gonna be getting a lot of stuff but it's always fun to window shop, right?" She said, her long orange pigtails swinging to the side as she fluffed out her frilly red skirt.
"Sure!" I replied, and we headed off. It didn't take long to browse, there wasn't that much stuff, but all of it was really well made. We were just walking out when all of a sudden, a foxy mask came out from a corner and blocked my path.
"Why hello there brother," Terrance said, his voice dripping with vemon and even colder than ice. I slowly looked up to meet his eyes, pitch black with only a little white glowing dot to indicate which direction he was looking. His other friends had their masks of too, the same effect. "I haven't given you my birthday present yet, have I?" He said, and with a flick of his wrist, his friends surrounded me, picking me up, causing me to start squirming and begging them to put me down. Before I knew it, we had gotten onto the stage with Fredbear and Spring Bonnie, and they were pushing me right towards Fredbears jaw, making my eyes widen as I start yelling at them to stop, tearing swelling by my eyes.
"Ya heard the man, he wants to get up real close and give Fredbear a kiss!" Terrance said, laughing in the menacing way he normally does, and his friends starting shoving me closer, making me start screaming at them, drawing the attention of quite a few of the other people.
"TERRANCE! LET HIM GO!" Eli yelled, running over to him and giving him a death glare.
"Nah, I'm giving him my birthday present!" He replied, signaling to his friends to keep going. They shoved my head into Fredbears jaw, laughing as I cried to get out, my heart racing.
"TERRANCE ISAAC AFTON, YOU GET YOUR BROTHER DOWN THIS INSTANT!" My father boomed, sounding furious and making everyobe flinch. They boys starting pulling me down, before I felt Fredbears jaw tighten around my head, me letting one last ear splitting scream rip through the air before everyone went black and red, with the distant sound of screams, and me hearing something I had never actually heard before. Terrance, in his most terrified and confused voice I have ever heard, screaming my name.
"MICHAEL!"
