Hello dear readers. Out of all the characters in this story and their relationships I like Iku and Rikus best I think.
Maybe because in my mind I put them at the same point of their lives and relationship that my husband and I are at. Being the old married couple but still young.
Thank you again to Emari for the name. Hope you like the one I chose from your list.
Enjoy!
Iku returned home opening the heavier door as Riku had yet to put up the bamboo curtain. Closing the door behind her she turned to see her youngest tripping over his own paws to greet her.
Smiling she knelt down picking her son up nuzzling his nose with hers. His fur had become a sandy color in between hers and Rikus. He had her darker eyes but his fathers pointed ears that sat atop his head.
Content he settled into her arms as she made her way towards the hearth glancing around.
"Where is your father?" Not a moment sooner the door opened with Rikus arms loaded with firewood for the hearth.
"Hello mate. I trust all went well." He said dropping it all next to the door and kneeling down to organize it.
"Yes. Their daughters were born, you know the two that you were supposed to give me." She replied smirking. Glancing at her with a raised brow he sighed.
Standing he brushed his hands off on a rag he had hanging on the wall.
"We have a fine son and here you are complaining again." He teased. "There is no satisfying you."
Looking down at their son as he looked up at her she scratched the top of his head with one of her claws in the way he liked.
"I have accepted the fact that Sana will be our only daughter."
"You know…" Riku began sitting beside her. "We could always try again for another." Turning her gaze to him her eyes appeared blank and lacking humorous. "Or not."
"Good answer." She smirked at him wider.
"I believe I may have found a name for him finally."
"Oh?"
"Mizuchi." He said.
"After the water serpent that frequents the sea?" Iku asked to verify.
"Well, they would share the same name but I thought of it some time ago talking with Jiro. I began to think of the past and Mizuki. So, I thought of the closest name to hers for a male." Riku replied.
"Thank you my love. That is a beautiful sentiment." Iku sighed out feeling overwhelmed. Leaning closer to him she placed her lips against his kissing him.
She had been practicing for some time now to do it properly and had been waiting for the right moment to express to him the gesture.
She felt his lips tremble against hers before catching on. Breaking their kiss she looked at him with a slight blush to her cheeks.
"You are just learning all kinds of things from our humans, aren't you?" Riku pushed some of her loose hair aside leaning back down to initiate this time.
It was such an intimate gesture that could be so innocent yet now as she breathed in her mates scent, tasted him on her lips but not quite on her tongue it drove her to want more of him.
Parting she placed their son down on his soft blankets as he had fallen asleep. Putting her hands on Rikus shoulders she knelt in front of him taking more of his taste running her tongue against his mouth before molding hers against his.
Riku wrapped his arms around her waist tightly pulling her closer to him so she was flush against his body. Their contact became more frenzied as soon Iku was on her back with her kosode hitched around her waist as her mate thrust into her deeply.
Panting she pulled him closer to her as he held her to him. Catching her lips again Riku let out a soft growl as Iku whined against him.
She dug her claws into his back and shoulders forcing him to quicken his pace as the sharp scratches intensified his pleasure.
Moving his head he grunted as his thrusts stopped as he found his climax within his mates body. Placing his forehead to hers she licked his cheek and smiled.
"You were right mate about the west. It is much better here." She said. "I have never been so content."
"Good." Riku breathed out nuzzling her nose with his.
