If you haven't read the modification of the last chapter you may not understand this one.
Only after 30 minutes Dr Hamilton walked out of the doubles door carrying a medical chart, 30 minutes of Monel and J'onn wondering if kara was ok or in a really bad shape or even worst... dead. "So how is she?" Monel said before she could saw anything. "Kara's gonna be fine." Monel and J'onn realest a breath that they didn't know they were holding at that news. "It was a close call though, if you had brought her a few minutes later she probably wouldn't have make it. A few hours under the sun lamps and she'll be good as new." "That's good but, what happen with her." J'onn ask." It seem that she got kryptonite poisoning again." "How is this possible, we check the entire apartment and there was not trace of kryptonite anywhere." Monel stated. "Maybe it's not in her apartment, Monel where were you and kara when she started to not feel good." "We were at a restaurant." Monel said. "I'll go check that restaurant tomorrow, meanwhile lets go check on our girl." J'onn said and the headed to the solar room.
When they got to the room they saw kara laying on the bed, if it wasn't for the lamp being at fool force, she would just look asleep.
Monel and J'onn stayed at Kara's side until she woke up the next morning. The girl groaned the opened her eye and looked around. Monel let out a sigh of relief and went to stand beside her. " Thank god. Are you ok are you in any pain?" She felt kinda weak and tired but other then that she was fine.
"I'm good." she said, she tried to get up but Monel push her down. " Nope your still recovering." "Monel I said I was fine." " You staying here, no arguments." j'onn said behind Monel. "But guys it's not that big of a deal." "Kara you where out for the entire night." Monel instead. "But-." "No but Kara your staying here for at least an other 3 hours." j'onn said with a really serious face. Kara pouted and laid back down.
"Fine but only for 2h then I can go back out there." She said crossing her arm. Monel glace at j'onn then back at Kara and sigh. "Actually you can't." "What do you mean I can't!" Kara scream whist getting up.
"You get out of the D.E.O because it's to dangerous for you to go out there in your state and we don't even know what is causing the kryptonite poisoning. So you have to stay in the D.E.O until we can figure it out." Kara tried to protest but j'onn cut her of. "Don't even try to protest it Kara, it's for you're own good. You are not Leave the D.E.O until we can figure out what's wrong."
"But I have to work, Andrea is going to fire me if I don't show up." "Nia is gonna take care of it." Monel said. Kara finally have up trying to convince them and flop down grunting.
Later that day Alex came in the D.E.O and she was really happy, her date with kelly last night went really well. She March to the D.E.O control center where j'onn was standing. "Hi." Alex said big smile plastered on her face. "Someone look's happy." J'onn said smiling back.
"had a good date?" J'onn ask. "Indeed I did, I had a really nice night." "I'm glad to hear it." J'onn said. "Have you seen kara I tried to call her but she didn't answer." Alex ask, j'onn hesitated for a second he really didn't want to ruin Alex's happiness but telling her what going on with kara, but he had to tell her. As he was about to answer her when saw kara getting out of her sun room.
"Hey Alex." Kara said coming to stand beside her sister. "Oh hey!" Alex said happy to see her sister. kara smiled at seeing her sister so happy. " Kara what are you doing here you suppose to be resting under the sun lamps." J'onn said hand on his hips. Kara sigh annoyed. "I told you I'm fine." "Why should you be under the solar lamps?" Alex ask. "Just a fight this morning don't worry about it. But I would really liked to hear what happen last night." Kara said changing the subject, and leading alex else where.
