It wasn't lost on Izumi how Kino seemed to upturn her nose at her, pout, or was being brasher against her than usual.

Stopping so they could attend to the pups needs she approached her sister.

"What?" Kino asked sounding annoyed.

"You tell me." Izumi countered. Kino crossed her arms giving her a side glare.

"You lied to me."

"No, I have not."

"About flower." Kino said. Izumi smirked knowing she was referring to Rin.

"No, I did not. Actually, I should be thanking you for nudging Rin to my chambers." Izu stated.

"Well that is just not fair. I did all the flirting and you get all the benefit?" Kino questioned finding amusement in their conversation.

"Yes." Izumi smiled widely at her. "Here, make yourself useful and hold Kozumi." Handing her son off to Kino who took him she watched Izumi as she went to assist Rin with Yue and Yuki.

Hotaru had begun to toddle and was walking with Kohaku by holding onto both of his hands. Hisashi bounced around them excitedly yipping at his sister and trying to tackle her.

Sesshomaru sat ever vigilant to keep them all safe. Iku and Riku had gone ahead with Hikari while Sana and Jiro had hung back a bit wanting to enjoy the journey more on the return home.

Izumi picked Yuki up from the ground where Rin had laid her and was immediately greeted by her attempt at a small smile.

"Hello little love." Izumi nuzzled her cheek against hers as she brought her close to her.

Yuki was the darker haired twin with both having a red strip running from the front of their hair to the back. She seemed more good natured than Yue, the silver haired girl was always fussy and stared at whomever was holding her with unblinking crimson eyes.

Taking Yuki to her breast to nurse Izumi straightened out her fine hair and watched as her violet eyes began to hide behind long lashes as she fell asleep.

"I can't wait to see what the others have been up to." Rin said. "I wonder if Emi and Mitsuo have named their youngest yet."

"Or maybe Jin got mad again and killed them all." Izumi teased.

"That is not funny Izu." Rin replied quickly. "Besides, I think he learned his lesson the first time around."

"That and Nen is giving him what he wants so I suppose as long as Jin is kept happy we will all be safe." She replied.

"Anyways," Rin shook her head of the thoughts, "The flowers should be in bloom when we get back. We can make our flower chains for the front." Turning to Kino who stood some ways off she beckoned her over. "Kino, do you want to help us?"

"I don't know how to do…female things like that." Kino said. "Actually I was hoping to request being one of your guards."

"That would be fine if that is what you want to do. When we return you can speak with Lord Sesshomaru or Riku. They are in charge of the other demon guards. Kohaku takes charge of the humans, well one now since Nagi is staying at the trading post." Rin thought out.

"Thank you." Kino nodded. "'Maybe I will get lucky and become your personal guard little flower."

"Maybe." Rin smiled and blushed nervously as Izumi pursed her lips and glared her sister down.

"Do not make me regret inviting you." She said to Kino. Handing her back Kozumi as Yuki finished nursing she smiled widely at her.

"I can assure you Lady Izumi, you will not." Kino stated.

Rin watched the exchange and giggled nervously. Things would certainly be more lively with Kino around of that she was sure.
