Chapter 1
Not everything changes
RJ drove in his rented car through the streets of Upperton, he didn't know how to tell these two people what was coming, although he knew who they were, he still wasn't sure if they were the ones to beat Dai Shi.
When he finally arrived at the university he saw something at the entrance that might help him go unnoticed on this mission.
"Hmm, it might work." RJ thought.

Back in Ocean Bluff, Jungle Karma Pizza was about to open its doors. Due to the absence of the owner of the pizza store, the three remaining employees had to organize themselves very well if they wanted to run the restaurant, not that it was the first time they were in a situation like this, but besides RJ, there were two other employees who were also absent.
There were three guys in the place, a brown-haired, light-eyed boy, a black-haired, dark-eyed Asian boy, and a blonde-haired, blue-eyed girl. All three were wearing green T-shirts with the Jungle Karma Pizza logo, gray pants and orange caps.
"So, how do we get organized?" the brown-haired boy asked.
"Simple, you take care of the pizzas while I take care of the cash register and Lily takes care of ordering." The Asian boy said.
"So far so good, but what about the delivery orders, Theo?" the blonde girl asked the asian boy.
"I can do it, Lily." Theo replied. "But we still have a problem."
"What is it?" The brown-haired boy asked this time.
"How are we going to take care of the pizza place if Dai Shi sends one of his monsters?" Lily asked.
"That's right, now that Dai Shi is back we have to be alert if he decides to attack the city." Theo said. "But we can't leave Jungle Karma Pizza aside either, Dom and Fran haven't returned from their European trip, and we don't have any more people to man the place."
"I suggest one of us stay here while the others go off to take on Dai Shi." The brown-haired boy suggested.
"Casey's right, until we find another alternative it's best that two go take on Dai Shi's monsters and one stays behind guarding the pizza store." Lily said.
"Maybe, but it's better to be alert." Theo said.
"Until then, there's a pizza store to tend to." Casey said pointing to his watch, marking the time to open.

Upperton College was very busy these days, a new week of classes was starting and all the students were getting ready for their classes.
Two students in particular were getting organized to attend their classes, the first was a red-haired girl with green eyes and the other was a blond boy with brown eyes.
"So Ron." began the girl, "Are you ready for a new week at college?"
"Huh? Yeah, sure Kim. Whatever" Replied the boy.
"What's up Ron?" Kim asked, "You seem distant."
"Nothing's wrong KP." Ron assured.
"Ron...you know you can't hide anything from your girlfriend. Tell me what you have."
Ron sighed. "I've been having nightmares the last few days."
"From the Lowardian Invasion? Ron, that was almost three years ago."
"No, the invasion thing I'm over, it's about something else."
"What was it then?"
"It would be crazy to say I saw the end of the world, I saw all that destruction, everything was being overpowered by some animal looking beasts."
"Ron, I'm sure it's just a bad dream."
"Maybe, but it felt so real."
"Maybe, but you shouldn't think too much about that, better think about what a good start to the week we're going to have this day."
"Mmmm, you're right, I won't let an apocalyptic dream ruin our day."
*Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep*.
A familiar tune but on Kim's watch, the Kimmunicator went off again with its classic alarm, Kim activated the Kimmunicator, on the Kimmunicator screen appeared a young African American man wearing a light blue t-shirt and jeans.
"Go, Wade." Kim said.
"Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that your Advanced Martial Arts class is suspended until further notice." Wade commented.
"And why is that?" Ron asked.
"Their teacher, Mr. Garfield was injured in training and will be out of commission for seven months."
"Roger that Wade, any other news?" Kim asked. "Any missions?"
"Nothing so far." Wade replied. "I'll let you know if I get anything."
"Ok Wade, we'll be in touch." Kim waved goodbye to her friend before cutting the call short.
"I still can't believe you talked me into taking that Martial Arts class." Ron said.
"Well, I thought it would be a good way for us to practice something together." Kim commented. "Unless you don't want to spend time with your girlfriend."
"KP, you know I always like to spend time with my badical girlfriend, plus, I've been getting a lot better at hand to hand combat."
"I'm just kidding, Ronnie." Kim gave him a kiss on the cheek. "And I know you've gotten a lot better at missions." she added.
"Anything to protect my KP." Ron said before taking his girlfriend's hand and going to his classes.

In the city of Los Angeles, UCLA was also preparing for a new week of classes.
A couple consisting of a red-haired, brown-eyed boy and a blond-haired, blue-eyed girl were approaching their lockers to pick up a few things.
"So, what's our schedule tonight?" the girl asked.
"I don't know Rhonda, unless you consider a sleepless night doing our homework as part of our plans I suggest you wait until Jade has something for us." the boy replied.
Then they heard an alarm sound, the boy pulled out of his pocket some sort of PDA, he activated it and the screen of the device showed a brunette girl with an Asian complexion.
"Talk about the queen of Rome." the boy said.
"Hey guys." Jade said through the communicator.
"Jade, do we have any news?" the boy asked.
"Unfortunately no, Grimm." Jade replied. "We don't have any work for tonight. It seems our clients are somewhat inactive."
"It's been that way since Rhonda and I have been in college."
"Or rather since we decided to get back into the mercenary business." Rhonda corrected her boyfriend.
"That makes me wonder: why did you decide to quit the Global Justice internship, Rhonda?" Jade asked her blonde friend.
"I don't know, I guess I didn't want to part with my Grimm." Rhonda said as she leaned closer to her boyfriend.
"That doesn't sound like a credible reason to me." Grimm said. "When I quit I explained to everyone that I wasn't comfortable with anything more regimented."
"That or the fact that you were working for free for the Global Justice people."
"Well, a little bit of that and a little bit of the other." Grimm admitted. "But I was still straight with you, come on Rhonda, now tell us why you quit."
"I thought you might need some support in getting back to mercenary work."
"You know I wouldn't mind if you stayed on at Global Justice, a few years ago I realized I can't hold you to some things."
"I know, but I've seen you work on your own, and more often than not you lose control when you're under pressure."
"Maybe." Grimm said.
"Anyway, Leigh just let me know that she won't be back in Riddlenton for another three weeks." Jade reported. "It seems the case she's handling in california is spreading too thin."
"Why could it be that it's costing her too much?" Rhonda asked about the lawyer on her team. "It didn't used to happen."
"Like you said, used to." Grimm commented. "That's it, Jade?"
"That was the only thing G-Man." Jade said.
"Well, if anything else happens you know how to find us."
"I'll be in touch if anything else happens." with that Jade closed the communication.
"Wow, looks like nothing's ever been the same since we graduated high school." Rhoda said.
"In a way." Grimm said. "But changing the subject, what about that field trip you're going on tomorrow?"
"You mean the great field trip we're going on to the Ocean Bluff Museum of Natural History?" Rhoda said sarcastically. "I honestly don't know what's so interesting about the trip."
"You can't judge a book by its cover, maybe you'll find something interesting over there."
"I hope so."

"Mmm, you have a very impressive profile, Mr. James." a bespectacled woman said as she finished reading a job profile. "But still, why would you want to take the job of substitute martial arts teacher for this institution?"
"Well, I like working with young people and I think I could teach them a little more than they already know. Besides, we are short of funds at home, I need the job to bring something back home." RJ said in order to convince the Upperton College principal.
"Mmm, I think after seeing and reading all of this, there is nothing left to do but deliberate." the woman said before getting up from her chair and reaching out to RJ. "Welcome to Upperton College, we will be glad to have you as one of our professors."
"Thank you Mrs. Applebee, I won't let you down." RJ said before shaking the woman's hand and leaving her office.
The part about getting into Upperton College without attracting attention was done, now all that was left was to contact these people to find out more about this mysterious power that Dai Shi was looking for.

The day at Jungle Karma Pizza had come to an end. It had been a busy day, the diners had been satisfied with the service they had received. Now the three employees were cleaning up the place before closing.
"Whew, pretty busy day." Lily said to the other guys.
"Needless to say, at least it was in terms of work." Theo commented. "There was no activity today from Dai Shi and his monsters."
"Maybe not today, but let's not let our guard down." Casey said. "Do you think RJ might have found those people?"
"I talked to him recently, he said that tomorrow hopefully he'll be able to talk to them." Lily commented.
"What kind of power do you think Dai Shi is looking for?" Theo asked.
"I'm not sure." Casey replied. "That they think he's equal to or even stronger than the Zocato and Rinzin combined?"
"I don't know, but whatever that power is we have to stop Dai Shi from finding it." Lily said. "You guys think Jarrod already knows about this?"
"Besides us, Jarrod would be the first person to be tipped off that Dai Shi has returned, besides Camille." Casey said
"Exactly, after being possessed by an evil spirit, Jarrod and Camille would be the first on Dai Shi's list after us." Theo commented. "I hope they took the news more calmly than we did."

Dai Shi continued his path to his temple, but on the way he encountered two objects that he recognized instantly, it was a big blue crystal cat's eye and a metal bracelet, he could feel the aura of the two objects. In the bracelet he could feel the energy a power he had been able to master, which meant that the monster in the bracelet was one of the least trustworthy monsters in existence, however, he could keep the monster at bay as the monster residing in the crystal eye was one of his most loyal servants.
But Dai Shi knew that if he wanted to revive these monsters he had to return to his temple as soon as possible.

It was a quiet night in Middleton, or at least it was for most. In the Stoppable house, one of its inhabitants was not having sweet dreams, that person was Ron.
He was having another one of those nightmares about animal-like beasts. In his dream, he was in the middle of a massacre, all his friends had been destroyed, several people were running away from the monsters. Some people were being held by the monsters' soldiers, while all that was going on, he saw a huge beast leading all that destruction, it was a huge eight-headed Chinese dragon, it was golden in color, its eyes were red, its horns were shaped like little dragon heads. The next thing Ron knew, a blast of fire was coming from one of the dragon's mouths heading in his direction.
Ron straightened with a jolt, breathing heavily. Sweat covered his body. That dream felt so real, but what did it mean?.
"Too terrifying to be just a dream, right?" Ron asked himself as he tried to calm himself down.

N/A: Here is the first official chapter of this story. For those of you who noticed, there are some small changes with respect to the ending of All Things Probable IV, I won't go into too much detail so those who are just reading Slyrr's 'All Things Probable' saga can continue reading it without any spoiler alert, for those of you who have finished reading the 'All Things Probable' saga please put in the comments what you think of what I did.
