The Pai Zhuq school continued with its daily activities, several students were practicing all the disciplines that the school had. A woman with straight black hair walked through the halls, it looked like she was trying to find someone. She was wearing a gray gi and black pants, like all the other students at Pai Zhuq. As she walked she noticed that the doors to a room were open, she knew it was that place, The Forbidden Room, she walked through the doors and down the stairs that led to the Forbidden Room. Once she reached the room, she saw the person she was looking for sitting at a table in the room, it was a brown haired boy wearing the school uniform, he was looking at the mural in the room where the first Beast War was depicted. On the mural was depicted how the animal warriors stood up to Dai Shi and his army, among the warriors were a shark, a bat, an elephant, a gorilla, an antelope, a penguin and a caracal; the mural had the addition of a tiger, a cheetah and a jaguar, referring to the second Beast War.
"What are you doing here?" the woman was the first to break the silence.
"You know very well why I'm here." the man replied.
"So you already know."
"That's right, Camille."
"You're taking it better than I thought, Jarrod." Camille said.
"That's only what it looks like on the outside, but inside there's a sea of emotions inside me." Jarrod said. "Something tells me that Dai Shi will come for us before we finish off the rangers."
"What makes you think that?"
"Isn't it obvious? It's no secret to anyone that Dai Shi will finish us off before the others, after all, it was me who caused Dai Shi to escape the first time."
Flashback
Jarrod walked down the corridors of the Pai Zhuq school leading to his room, to say that he looked upset was an understatement, Jarrod felt outraged, Master Mao had not only taken away his place as one of the chosen ones, but he had also expelled him from the school according to him because his arrogance and bully attitude was not what he was looking for in one of the chosen guardians. During his walk he saw something that caught his attention, it was Master Mao and behind him were Theo and Lily, but he noticed someone else accompanying them, Jarrod gasped when he recognized the boy, it was Casey, the rookie who had humiliated him in front of Master Mao.
"This can't be." Jarrod thought to himself, "Is Master Mao planning on replacing me with that cub?"
Jarrod followed the group into the forbidden room, as he descended the steps he could hear Master Mao telling the others the story of the Pai Zhuq, how the first Masters had stood up to Dai Shi, and that they had been chosen to protect the world in case Dai Shi escaped his prison. Suddenly Jarrod heard Casey begin to speak.
"Yeah well, evil hasn't escaped and all is good, and look, I've been here for a few days and I bet there are better students..." Casey couldn't continue when Jarrod appeared.
"I spent ten years training here!" he reprimanded Master Mao. "You have no right to kick me out just because."
"I agree, but I have a reason." Master Mao said before turning his back on Jarrod.
Taking advantage of being distracted, Jarrod attacked Master Mao, but even with his back turned the old master was able to block Jarrod's attacks with one hand while holding the box containing Dai Shi with the other.
Casey, Theo and Lily were planning to intervene, but they saw that Master Mao had everything under control.
Master Mao continued to block and dodge Jarrod's punches, seeing his chance, Master Mao connected a punch with his index and middle fingers to Jarrod's chest, knocking him back.
"Now go." Master Mao ordered.
"Yes." Jarrod said resignedly, but before he left, he channeled his lion spirit and with it attacked Master Mao, making him drop the box.
Casey, Theo and Lily gasped as they watched the chest open as it hit the ground, for a moment they thought everything was fine seeing that nothing happened, until...
"FREE..." A sinister voice rang out as a golden aura came out of the chest and began to take the shape of a dragon. "...AT LAST."
Everyone, including Jarrod was horrified at what had just happened, Dai Shi had been released.
"Mao." The demon said. "My old friend. For centuries I thought only of you, but before I destroy you I will witness the destruction of those closest to you."
Jarrod realized what he did, he immediately left the Forbidden Room, grabbed his things and fled into the forest.
"I must get out of here." Was all Jarrod thought as he ran through the forest.
"Jarrod." A sinister voice rang out. Jarrod turned to see who was speaking to him.
"Jarrod."
The next thing Jarrod knew, a golden aura was approaching him.
"AAAHHHHHHHHH!"
Flashback End
Jarrod hung his head in shame for what he had done that day, and the terrible acts he did while being possessed by Dai Shi, if it wasn't for Casey getting him out of Dai Shi's control, he would never have had a chance to rectify his mistakes.
"I know you're afraid of what Dai Shi might do to us, but you have to believe that we will defeat him again." Camille tried to reassure Jarrod.
"How are you so sure of that?" Jarrod asked.
"Because I think so." Camille said as she took Jarrod's hand in hers.

Meanwhile in the UCLA parking lot, all the students and teachers were preparing two buses for the trip to the Ocean Bluff Museum of Natural History in California. People around the buses were chatting during the wait.
"I wonder what's taking her so long?" Rhonda asked.
"Relax, she'll be here soon." Grimm reassured his girlfriend. "So you're going to be okay without me?"
"I think so, it's not like I haven't before, so yeah, I can handle a few hours without you."
A weasel crawled up Rhonda's shoulder and started making some sounds towards her, like he was talking to her.
"I know buddy, but you know I can't take you with me on this trip, especially since I know how you get in situations like this, but I bet you and Grimm will have fun in my absence, Rueful."
The weasel nodded resignedly.
"Hey guys." A voice called out to Grimm, Rhonda and Rueful.
A brown-haired girl was approaching them, the girl was carrying some sort of robotic arm where her right arm should be.
"Felicia." Rhonda said as she hugged her high school friend.
"How are you?" Grimm asked.
"I've been good, I've never been better since I transferred to UCLA" Felicia replied, then turned to Rhonda. "So Rhonda, ready for the field trip to Ocean Bluff?" Felicia asked.
"Mmm something like that." Rhonda replied in a not so convincing tone.
"You relax, I have everything planned for when we finish the trip." Felicia said.
At that moment two people approached the students, one was an African American man and a brown haired woman.
"Attention students, in a few moments we will be boarding buses to head to the museum." The man began.
"Remember that yesterday you were assigned your groups to go on the buses, you already know who will go with Mr. Landors and who will go with me on the bus. When we arrive at the museum we will stop at the entrance to wait for instructions from the tour guide. We both expect adult behavior from both of you both on the trip there and back as well as at the museum. Is that clear?" The woman said.
"Yes Miss Martinez." The student body said.
"Okay, now let's get on the buses." Miss Martinez said.
"Ok see you later." Rhonda said goodbye to Grimm with a quick kiss.
"See you Grimm." Felicia also said goodbye to her friend.
"Take care you two." Grimm said to them as he watched them get on one of the buses. Then Grimm turned to look at Rueful. "Do you have anything planned besides walking me to class?" He asked.
The weasel shrugged.

Kim and Ron were on their way to their Martial Arts class, they had been told that they would have their class, apparently the school had already found a replacement for their teacher.
They entered the classroom where they met other students from the course, just like them, Kim and Ron were dressed in a white gi and a matching belt.
All the students moved their gazes to the classroom door as the headmistress entered through it.
"Greetings class, listen, as many of you know, your regular teacher, Mr. Garfield, was injured during a training session, and from what many of you have already deciphered, we have already secured a substitute teacher." Mrs. Applebee said.
"Please don't let it be Barkin, everyone but Barkin." Ron begged.
"Ron, pay attention." Kim said to her boyfriend.
"Sorry, it's habit."
"So without further ado, with you, your new Advanced Martial Arts teacher." Ms. Applebee announced, at this provoked an interesting reaction as the students began to whisper amongst themselves.
A man walked across the classroom floor as most of the students, especially on the female side (except for a few who already had couples), were in shock at the new teacher.
The instructor wore a black gi with purple accents with a black belt and held a clipboard with some papers in his right hand. The instructor had brown hair, a shaded beard and blue eyes.
The man bowed to the class and said, "Thank you very much Mrs. Applebee and good morning class. My name is Robert James, or you can call me Master RJ, and I will be the sensei for this Advanced Martial Arts class. Before we begin, I would like to go through. the attendance list." He then looked at his clipboard and began to attend. When he came up with the names with P's, he said, "Kimberly Possible?"
"Present," Kim said, raising her hand.
RJ then came to the S, "Ronald Stoppable?"
"Here," Ron said, raising his hand.
RJ finished reviewing the list, "Excellent," he said before putting down his clipboard and turning his attention to the rest of the class, "Okay, class, let's get started."

The trip to Ocean Bluff was nothing out of the ordinary, Rhonda and Felicia were talking about what they have been doing after the Riddlenton High School Reunion, Rhonda didn't have much to say, she just gave Felicia an account of everything she and Grimm have been doing both at school and in their free time, Felicia on the other hand, was telling her how UCLA was already trying since she transferred, and she was having a pretty good time, especially since she was close to her best friend.
After a 90-minute ride, the bus finally arrived at its destination.
The students got off the bus to stretch their legs a bit before the teachers in charge approached.
"Alright students, in a few more moments we will be entering the museum, you better have your tickets in hand right now." Mr. Landors warning.
"We will receive instructions as soon as our show guide shows up. Remember that if you need to separate from the group to make a phone call or anything like that, you approach any of us quietly so as not to interrupt the exhibit, understood?" asked Ms. Martinez.
"Yes Miss Martinez." The student body responded.
Second later a woman with blonde hair and blue eyes appeared.
"Very good morning everyone, I am Dr. Silva Jennings and I will be your guide on this field trip." The woman introduced herself to everyone. "Just a couple of things, when we are inside the museum, if you are going to take any pictures I will ask you not to use the flash, any questions regarding the exhibits you are welcome to raise your hand and I will answer there any more questions?" Receiving no response, she continued. "If there are no further questions, let's get started with the field trip. Please I want adult behavior, is that clear?"
The students nodded.
"Very well, let's go inside." continued Dr. Jennings, leading the group toward the Follow Me Museum.
The main lobby of the Ocean Bluff Museum of Natural History was a huge marble circle. Tall, fluted columns rose toward the splendid white ceiling, and corridors stretched out from that circle like the spokes of a train wheel.

The Ocean Bluff Museum of Natural History is usually a fairly quiet place. Since most scientists in town tended to look more to the future, they hardly acknowledged things from the past. In fact, the museum was considered more of a novelty than anything else. Nevertheless, it attracted enough attention from non-scientifically inclined citizens and school children on field trips to justify staying open. It created a pleasant, quiet atmosphere that museums should have.
It also meant that the more unsavory characters who had a penchant for visiting here generally overlooked it, as they felt they had little value inside.
The group came to a section called "Tunnel of the Unknown," most of the items behind the glass of the display cases were of Native American origin and mostly attached to the mystical side of things. Shaman headdresses, dream catchers and lots of things dedicated to the "Spirit of the Great Bear," whatever that was.
Rhonda could sense that many of her classmates considered this exhibit to be a bunch of mombo jumbo that really was a waste of time, much more than the other exhibits had been, but to her this section meant a lot, especially why she was involved in that to say the least. Seeing this Rhonda was relieved that Maze was no longer after her looking to seize the power of the Great Bear, which he claimed was his right.
Rhonda was about to move a little closer to the exhibit until she saw something else that caught her eye. Some five blue colored crystalline spheres sitting on a pedestal, she couldn't help but ask what they were.
"Excuse me Dr. Jennings, what are those things?"
"They are strange crystal eyes." Silvia replied.
"Crystal eyes?" Rhonda said incredulously. "But where did they come from?"
"These crystal eyes I found in a dig not far from here." Silvia explained.
Rhonda stared at the crystal eyes, what could be so special about them.
"But just here among us, these eyes have caught the attention of several individuals." Silvia whispered to Rhonda.
"Oh yeah?" Rhonda asked. "Who?"
"That's not what's important." Silvia said before turning to the group. "Alright students, let's get on with the tour." She said as she directed the group to the other section.
Rhonda stood a little longer looking at the five crystal eyes, she got close enough until the only thing separating her from the eyes was a red velvet ribbon, she raised her hand and suddenly felt an energy emanating from the crystal eyes. She had never felt such a powerful energy since she had faced Golem Monkey Fist when he unleashed the full power of the Yono.
This power seemed to be stronger than the Yono and equal to the power of the Great Bear.
Rhonda turned away from the eyes taking a few steps back, a horrible, searing tingling she felt. The lights of the place became a blur. Looking around, she realized that her classmates had moved on. She was alone, confused and frightened.
Suddenly Rhonda came back to her senses as someone called her name and put a hand on her shoulder.
"Are you okay, Rhonda?" Felicia asked as she noticed her dazed look.
"Huh?" Rhonda mumbled "Yeah, I'm fine."
"What's wrong?" asked Felicia, standing next to her. "You look like you've seen a ghost."
"I'm fine, don't worry..." lied Rhonda. "Let's get on with the tour."
The two then joined their classmates to continue the tour.

Back in Upperton, the Advanced Martial Arts group followed RJ as everyone performed some basic kata.
After half an hour, the group went into a moment of meditation, and an hour after that, the class ended.
"Alright class, that's it for today." RJ prompted. "You all did very well, tomorrow we will start something more intense. Now go to your classes."
All the students took a bow and went to the locker room to change out of their gis into their regular clothes.
Before Kim and Ron could get to the locker room, RJ spoke to them, "Kim, Ron?"
Kim and Ron turned to look at their teacher.
"Yes, Master RJ?" asked Kim.
"I just wanted to say how wonderful it is to have Middleton's teen heroes in my class," RJ replied.
"Thank you, but as we told the other teachers, we want you to treat us like normal people, Master RJ," replied Ron.
"I was wondering, what made you two decide to take Advanced Martial Arts?" asked RJ. "I thought you two were already martial arts experts."
"That's right, I know 17 styles of Kung-fu, including Tai Shing Pek Kwar," replied Kim. "Ron is an expert in that. We wanted to learn more martial arts techniques so we could fight the supervillains and their henchmen in hand-to-hand combat."
"Mmmm, Monkey Kung-Fu, I have knowledge of that form of combat, although I specialize more in Muay Thai." said RJ. "But seriously, if you ever need to spar, the dojo is yours after class, or if you both want to talk or for me to teach you some tricks..." RJ pulled out two business cards and handed them to Kim and Ron, "...you can call me."
"These are cards from a pizza place." Kim showed RJ the card showing the Jungle Karma Pizza logo.
"I know, I have a pizza place in California." said RJ.
"Oh, no, I didn't realize." Kim said sincerely.
"Don't worry."
"Well, we'll call you if anything comes up." Ron said, after he and RJ shook hands, RJ did the same for Kim.
When RJ raised his right hand, both Kim and Ron saw something that caught their attention, on RJ's hand, at the wrist to be more specific, he saw the tattoo of a claw, which oddly enough was in the shape of the same claw that was on the back of the gi that RJ was wearing.
Once RJ left, Ron finally broke the silence.
"Did you see the tattoo on his hand too?" he asked his girlfriend.
"UH Huh." Kim replied.
"What do you think it means?"
"Maybe he has a dojo where he lives."
"What about the tattoo?" Ron asked again.
"I don't know, maybe it's something from his past." Kim answered her boyfriend.
"Maybe."

Rhonda and Felicia walked out of the museum along with their classmates and teachers.
"Whew, good thing the field trip is over already." Felicia said. "I was looking forward to this so I could see the city without having something to do with school." She turned to look at Rhonda. "What do you say?"
Rhonda didn't answer, she was still in shock from what she felt when she met the crystal eyes, the connection she felt when she came in contact with them, suddenly she was snapped out of her thoughts when she felt a robotic hand on her shoulder.
"Rhonda, did you hear me?" Felicia asked.
"Oh, sorry Felicia, my mind was elsewhere, what were you saying?"
"I asked if you wanted to get something to eat, we have 90 minutes before we go back to UCLA."
"Sure, sounds good to me, like what do you want to eat?"
"I was thinking pizza." The girl with the robotic arm replied.
"Sounds great, but where do we eat pizza?" Rhonda asked.
"That's easy, I know there's a pizza place near here. I've read the reviews and according to that they claim it's the best pizza in town."
"Mmmm, well if you insist, let's go." Rhonda said, after all, she needs something to take her mind off the crystal eyes.

The day at Jungle Karma Pizza was going great, it was busy but it was nothing Casey, Theo and Lily couldn't handle. Casey had just assigned the last order to the others when she saw the door open revealing two girls, one of them had a robotic arm.
"Oh, new customers." He said.
Back with the girls, they were examining the place, they saw that the place had a jungle theme, the seats had a kind of print that simulated the skin of different animals, tiger, zebra, giraffe, among others.
"This place has personality." said Rhonda.
As the two girls took a seat at a table, they were approached by a brown-haired, dark-eyed Caucasian boy wearing a green T-shirt with the pizzeria's logo on it, gray pants and an apron around his waist.
"Welcome to Jungle Karma Pizza, my name is Casey." Casey introduced himself as he handed the menu to Rhonda and Felicia.
"Nice to meet you, Casey." Rhonda returned the greeting. "We've heard the pizzas here are the best."
"Not to brag, but our pizzas are very good." said Casey.
"So which one do you recommend?" asked Felicia.
"Favorites include the Spicy Thrilla Gorillas with bananas and the Tropical Tofu Sensation."
"Bananas?" Felicia asked incredulously.
"That's right, we've gotten good reviews for that pizza." said Casey.
"Do you want to try the pizza with bananas?" Felicia asked Rhonda.
"Let's try the pizza with bananas." replied Ronda.
"Okay, I'll get you the pizza right away." Casey said as she picked up the menu cards and returned to the kitchen, but not before saying something to Felicia, "I like the arm, and I mean that in a a good way."
"Oh thank you." Felicia said raising her robotic arm.
Both Felicia and Rhonda knew Casey meant it in a good way. As Casey took the menus, Rhonda saw something that caught her eye, on Casey's right hand, on the wrist to be more specific, she saw the tattoo of a claw.
"Nice tattoo." Rhonda told him.
"Oh, thanks." Casey said as he covered the mark with his sleeve.
"Looks like he belonged to a gang" Ronda thought. " Or just a common tattoo, anyway, that's none of my business."
Casey on the other hand, could sense an aura coming from Rhonda, he sensed that she had a spirit animal, but it was different from his and the other rangers, but he couldn't figure out why.

In the ancient Dai Shi temple, the golden aura evil spirit found his temple just as he had left it the last time, in ruins. He knew he had enough power to gather a large group of soldiers and these two warriors, but he knew if he wanted to gather more warriors and soldiers and regain his solid body, he had to accumulate human fear.
"Arise again my Rinshi, Arise again my army of fear!" shouted Dai Shi.
Out of the ashes came soldiers wearing brown sleeveless gi, black pants, black caps on their heads covering their noses and eyes; they had totally white skin. All stretched their two arms forward.
"You two." he said to two Rinshi soldiers, "Bring me the crystal eye and the bracelet."
Two Rinshis approached Dai Shi, each carried the two objects in his hand, one carried the crystal eye, and the other carried a metal bracelet the size of the crystal eye.
"Your strength will help me revive these warriors." Dai Shi took the two Rinshis and pulverized them, literally, and transferred their energy to the crystal eye and the bracelet. "ZOCATO POWER." Dai Shi transferred a kind of purple energy to the bracelet, the bracelet began to glow until it transformed into a monster. The monster was brown in color, had white eyes, white hair almost to the study of Roman helmets, and on its shoulders and chest was the face of a bear, a grizly bear.
"And now, RINZIN POWER." Dai Shi transferred a kind of golden energy to the crystal eye, the eye began to glow until out of the crystal eye came a monster in golden armor, it had a cloak, on its shoulders were dragon figures, on its chest it had several dragon faces.
"Am I alive?" Bear Monster asked. "But how?"
"I wonder the same thing myself." The dragon warrior asked.
The Bear Monster turned his head to see who else was with him. "You are a Phantom Beast." He said.
"General Scorch, spirit of the Avalon Dragon." The Dragon Monster introduced himself. "And I take it you are one of the Three Overlords."
"Yes, I am Grizzaka."
"I see you already know each other." Dai Shi said.
Grizzaka and Scorch turned to see where the voice was coming from.
"Dai Shi" They both said, though Grizzaka said it in a hostile tone.
"Why did you bring me back?" Grizzaka demanded.
"Because you are the right ones to lead my army."
"You expect me to follow orders from you?"
"Do you have a problem?" Scorch stands in front of Grizzaka.
"How can you be on his side?" Grizzaka asked. "I thought the Phantom Beasts were at war with Dai Shi."
"That was in the past, now Dai Shi is the King of the Phantom Beasts, so if you have a problem with him you'll have to go over me." Scorch said.
Grizzaka wanted to destroy Scorch at that moment, but he knew that the Rinzin residing in Scorch was stronger than his Zocato.
"So Dai Shi, what do you want us to do?" Grizzaka asked.
"You two will lead my army to the destruction of the city, let no human stand in your way, especially the power ranges, understood?"
"Yes, Dai Shi." Both monsters said at the same time.

Back to the Jungle Part 2
N/A: Here is the new chapter, I will keep working a little more on this story and try to correct some things for when the next chapter comes out.
So far we have seen returns of characters that will play roles in the general plot as well as in the support of the characters, and there are still some others that will eventually make an appearance in the story, and we have also the first encounters of the characters of the three casts involved that are leading the way to the main plot.
