A/N: Hello dear readers. Well we've made it to one hundred and fifty chapters. I can't believe that I have written a story this long that people are actually enjoying.

"Who am I Hotaru?" Rin asked holding her daughter as she sat at the table in the sitting room with Sesshomaru, Kohaku, and Izumi.
"Mama." Hotaru replied.
"Yay!" Rin said enthusiastically jostling her a bit. Hotaru giggled and clapped. "Now, who is that?" Pointing at Izumi Hotaru looked across the table.
"Ummm…mama." She said. Izumi smiled widely reaching for her from across the table. Rin put Hotaru on it so she could crawl to her.
Taking her in her lap she ran her claws through her hair.
"Who is this Hotaru?" Rin continued the game pointing to Sesshomaru.
"Mama." Hotarus tone one of confidence. Raising a brow Sesshomaru glanced at Rin.
"That doesn't count if it is the only word she knows." Kohaku laughed out.
"It does count and you are not taking it away from us. Our daughter knows who we all are." Izumi said. Hearing a whine and a howl from one of the bedrooms indicated Hisashi had woken from his nap.
Hotaru had toddled out first leaving him behind more than likely causing his distress.
"Uh-oh." Hotaru said climbing off of Izumis lap and making her way down the hall. "Shhhh. Shhhh."
"She is getting to be something." Kohaku commented.
"Hotaru loves her brothers and sisters, she is a natural mother and protector." Rin said.
"We need to discuss what occurred in the east and the threat of possible attack." Sesshomaru said.
"Jin and I have been instructing the other men and women how to mask their scents among other means to better protect themselves." Kohaku replied.
"I have been thinking," Izumi said in thought, "Would it be possible to have a hidden door built into the floor. In case of an emergency it may prove useful if Rin and I are here."
"Good thinking Izu. I hadn't even thought of that." Rin nodded her head in agreement. "Iku and I have instructed the others it would be best to put all the children to sleep, if we are able to. Just long enough so we may be able to escape with them."
"Captain Riku knows the houses well that have threatened ours, both in battle and alongside. Kohaku, we all need to spar more. This peace we have been in may have dulled all of our senses." Turning to Rin she looked to him.
"Yes my lord?"
"Pen a letter to Kagome. Inform her I wish to fight Inuyasha."
"Alright." Rin smiled at him and gave a curt nod.
"Similarly we can write to Sango and Miroku to see what suggestions they may have in the event we are attacked." Kohaku suggested.
"Very good." Sesshomaru agreed. "Who is next to go down to the trading post?"
"I am. I will relieve Kino in three days time." Kohaku replied.
"So soon?" Rin asked.
"I for one am not looking forward to it." Izumi said.
"It is only a few days, it will go by fast." Taking her hand in his he squeezed for assurance.
"Lord Sesshomaru and I are here to keep you company. You can stay in our room if you want."
"Just for sleeping?" Izumi questioned slyly. Rin gave a shrug.
"Now that is not fair." Kohaku stated with a crooked grin. "I leave and you all have fun?"
"Whatever Rin and Izumi do together is their own business. I assure you Kohaku, I will not take advantage of the situation while you are away." Sesshomaru said.
"Thank you Lord Sesshomaru." Kohaku nodded appreciatively.
"Since we are on the topic, there is something I have been wanting to bring up but haven't." Izumi took a breath before continuing. "We only shared the one night together, as a pack. Sesshomaru, I would like for us to engage one another in our natural forms and give into our more demonic energies."
"That is not a bad idea." Rin said.
"Hm." Sesshomaru cocked his head slightly to the side taking Izumi in. "Let me better understand this; you wish to rut like animals? Funny, how at one point you were so very accusatory of Rin and I acting on our desires."
Sighing Izumi shook her head slightly.
"I apologized for that a very long time ago now." She replied.
"When?" He asked a small smirk gracing his lips.
"Any time." Izumi shrugged. Standing Sesshomaru walked around the table towards the door.
"Are you coming?" He asked her.
"Right now?" Izumi fired at him her eyes going wide.
"You did say, anytime." He retorted.
"Yes I did, you are correct." Looking to Rin she was holding back her mirth and nodded her head in encouragement.
"Go ahead love. We will be here when you both return." Kohaku said letting go of her hand. Standing she smoothed down her kimono and robe before walking over to him.
"Lead the way my lord." She said as he opened the sliding door and the exited.
"He is teasing her." Rin said.
"And he is greatly enjoying it." Kohaku agreed. "Well, what should we do since our mates have gone off with one another."
"Do you want to play a game? Izumi has told me that you both like to play sex games." Rin suggested. Kohaku blushed and gave a small nervous laugh.
"Uh, okay. Do you have any ideas?" Knowing Rin had had a good imagination as a child he was intrigued by what she would come up with.
"Well you are a demon slayer who has come to this household and shooed away the demons. Now, I, as the lady of the household will give you your payment." She said.
"Sounds fun."
"Great. I will bring the pups to Hikari, she is with the twins and Kozumi right now." Standing she went to the bedrooms to get Hisashi and Hotaru.
Kohaku took a breath to steady himself.
