It had been a few years sense the general had sacrificed himself to fix his mistake however Ratchet was still grieving him. when sigmund reports activity present on Torren IV involving some zoni. Ratchet goes to check it out however he had assumed they were just a few strays that lost there way. Little did he know that it would put him on a different adventure.

Ratchet's orphanage calls him to let him know that they found something of his when they went to clean out his old file. Something that was found along with him when he was just a baby in a basket sitting on their doorstep that night. Something that was written in a strange, mechanical-looking script that they couldn't translate at all. Something that looked a lot like a letter.

Rivet never could've imagined herself turning out like this. Never in a million years. So pathetic. A shell of her former self. Like that massive robot had taken more than just her arm. Like it had ripped her soul out of her body that day. "Guess Mort was right," Rivet cracked a smile, forced and unfulfilled. "You really don't know what you have 'til it's gone…"

Roslyn is a lombax with a huge agenda to see her race's original home and find her place in life, but when her ship is attacked and her two best friends are kidnapped by an unknown evil. So, I'm all about these character watch fics. I've been a fan of Ratchet and Clank since I was little and recently I thought it would be cool to read a story where they react to their lives but I wasn't able to find any. So I feel I must take the responsibility of making one. This will be for the future series: Tools of Destruction - Into the Nexus (not including filler games).
