Meetings and Beginnings:

Location: Ticonderoga, NY.

Time: 5:00 P.M.

The Outsiders arrived at Ticonderoga right as the clock struck five; seeing as it was getting late, the team decided not to waste time. Blue Beetle began scanning the area for any gamma rays, while the rest of the team waited to hear his report.

The scarab scanned everything carefully and after a few minutes of silence; it found what it was looking for. Blue Beetle opened his eyes and pointed left. "Scarab has detected high traces of gamma energy coming from over there," he said.

Beast Boy nodded, "Then what are we waiting for?" he said, shifting into a hawk and flying into the air.

Meanwhile:

a few minutes before the team's arrival.

Crow sent a raven ahead of them to scope out the area; reading its memories, he could see how far they were from a town. From what his scout had seen, they were only about five miles away from a small town where they could get food and maybe some rest.

Why he was doing this, Robin took advantage and changed into his civies; as dressing up as the boy wonder would bring too much attention to the group. Fortunately, he had been smart enough to bring an extra set of clothes with him in case things went wrong; if only his mother and sister could see him, they would have been proud of his thinking.

Next to him, Lucy had also shifted into her civilian form, so she didn't catch the attention of any unwanted visitors. From the camper's memories, she'd read, she knew there was already a Mrs. Martian and Martian Manhunter on earth and that many people didn't trust them.

Many of whom were followers of G-Gordon; a fact that annoyed her to no end. Even in this dimension, they couldn't escape Gordon and Nightstar and senior Robin weren't here to put the bastard in his place.

Robin now John Grayson, narrowed his eyes. "How much walking are we talking about here?" he asked.

The older hero looked at him sheepishly, "Five miles," he said.

John relaxed a little, "Well, I guess that's not too bad," he said.

Crow sighed, relieved the boy would not be difficult, "Alright, let's go," he said, and the trio began their journey.

The trio hadn't gotten far when Lucy sensed the team's arrival, "Crow," she said, alarmed.

Crow, who had also sensed their arrival, nodded, "I know," he said.

John looked at his comrades questionably. "What's going on?" he asked.

Lucy sent him a mental message explaining the situation, which caused the boy to tense up. Crow meanwhile decided that the best course of action would be to send some scouts to investigate their uninvited guest. Summoning a horde of black matter, he sent out a cat, raven, and a few flies.

Now the trio waited anxiously for news.

Beast Boy flew in the direction Blue Beetle had pointed to, said hero was flying right beside him while Kid Flash, Static, and Cassie were on the ground. As the team got closer to the area, the scarab was alerted to the presence of black magic being used.

Scarab immediately alerted Jaime to the situation, "Jaime Reyes, I detect high traces of magic," he said.

Jaime felt confused by the scarab's warning, "Guys! The scarab is detecting high traces of black magic," he said.

Everyone tensed up, thinking Klarion could be behind this. Beast Boy growled, "Alright everyone, be on the lookout, Klarion could be hiding out waiting to ambush us," he said. Just as he was saying this a strange-looking raven with red eyes caught his attention, seeing it gave him the urge to follow it.

As he approached the bird it dissolved away; landing on a branch the shifter thought to himself how strange that bird was. "Hey team keep an eye open for any strange-looking animals," he said. The team nodded.

Lucy and John watched as their guardian's face changed to one of absolute shock. Lucy who had been reading Crow's memories was surprised to see a group of young-looking heroes searching the forest; however, when Crow saw the green teen, his whole body had tensed up like he'd been slapped.

Lucy looked at him concerned, "Are you okay, Crow?" she asked.

Crow hesitated a moment before he spoke, a tremble in his voice, "No, that green teenager, he, he looks just like my father when he was young," he said.

The two younger heroes shared a look of surprise. Lucy looked at him in concern. "It's possible he could be another version of your father," she said.

John looked thoughtful, "If your father is alive here then it's possible my father is also alive," he said.

Crow nodded, "Yes, it's very possible," he said.

Lucy looked hopeful, "If he is indeed another version of your father then we should go meet him and his team, perhaps they could help us," she said.

John looked at her skeptically, "I don't think that's a good idea," he said.

The martian looked at him questionably, "Why not?" she said.

The boy sighed, "because they'd most likely see us as potential threats and do who knows what to us. We've got a mission to do and I won't allow anyone to stop me from completing it," he said.

Crow sighed, "I'm sorry John, but I'm going to have to agree with Lucy on this one. The heroes of this world can help us." he said.

John sighed again, "Fine but they better not try to stop us from finishing our mission," he said.

Crow shook his head as the three got ready to meet the Outsiders.

Kid Flash was the first one to spot the trio, and he came to a screeching halt as he took them in. Two of the three appeared to be children, while the other was an older teen in white robes and leotard. "Guys you need to get over here right now," he shouted into his mic.

A minute later the rest of the Outsiders came into the clearing. Beast Boy being the leader, approached the group, "Hey are you guys okay? Were you abducted by meta traffickers?" he asked.

Crow shook his head, "No, we weren't taken by meta traffickers, whatever the hell that means. You can help us though, see my companions and I have accidentally landed in your dimension, while we were trying to time-travel so if anyone of you guys is good at quantum physics we would be grateful to you if you helped us get on our way," he said.

The Outsiders stared at the team for a minute before bursting out laughing. Kid Flash was the first to come to his senses, "You're joking, right?" he said.

The trio stared at him.

Blue Beetle was about to say something when the scarab said something stopped him cold, "I detect high traces of gamma rays from them, Jaime Reyes," he said.

Jaime stuttered, "What?!" he said in complete shock. The scarab remained silent.

Jaime looked at the trio and stuttered out, "Um guys, I think they're telling the truth," he said.

Lucy laughed, "Of course we're telling the truth and I can prove it," she said mentally to the group.

Beast Boy pointed to her, "Wait! are you talking to us telepathically?" he asked.

Lucy giggled, "Yep! I'm little Miss Martian and my companions are Robin and Crow Logan," she said.

Beast Boy looked shook, "You're a Martian!" he said.

The rest of the Outsiders stared at the girl in surprise and watched as she shifted to a green martian. Beast Boy was speechless, so Kid Flash said, "Um you guys need to come with us," he said.

John crossed his arms, "Told you they'd take us in," he said.

Lucy just rolled her eyes.
