A/N: Reader Rouen on AO3 suggested a character development list of the original characters to include characters who have been introduced since the last list was made.
I am tallying them up in my head and there's a lot. We've had babies since the last list and more people have joined, Jin has been around for forever and isn't in the first list.
I will include a short character summary as well as a physical description of the characters as I see them but don't let it ruin the way you perceive them, we all envision something differently.

Jin- Jin is the dog demon Nens mate and husband. He is a gay man who was exiled by the village he grew up in when it was found out he was gay after being betrayed by his lover.
He was found by Kohaku and was encouraged to become a demon slayer and join their village but still found himself being ostracized and in bad relationships with other men who took advantage of him.
Jin is in his early twenties. He is severely insecure and tends to jump to action not realizing the impact he has on others.
He has shoulder length light brown hair that he keeps tied back or in a braid that Sana taught him how to do. Jin has dark brown eyes.
He wears demon slayer armor similar to Kohakus just without a cloak, when he is patrolling or on guard duty. More casually he wears a white kimono top with cream colored hakamas and sandals.
His weapons are circular blades made from demon bones with a wooden handle to grip.
Nagi- Nagi is a childhood friend of Rin and Kohakus having grown up in Kaedes village. In adolescence he attempted to court Rin to be turned down.
Nagi is a free spirited person and took his first opportunity to leave Kaedes village to join Kohaku to build a new village for displaced demon slayers.
Nagi is in his early twenties. He is easily bored and feels the need to keep busy. He enjoys helping people and feeling useful.
His hair is tied up in a top knot on top of his head and is a dark brown appearing black. Nagi has brown eyes.
He wears demon slayer armor similar to Kohakus while he was at the compound but now wears an off colored white kimono top with black hakamas and sandals.
His weapon is a sword.
Rina- Rina lives in the trading post that is a few miles from the compound. She was born and raised at the post with her parents being two of the founding members.
Rina is in her late teens to early twenties. She is business savvy like her parents and assists with her fathers restaurant and inn.
She has black hair that she leaves loose but does tie back with a cloth. Her eyes are a dark brown.
She wears a forest green kimono with brown and blue markings to symbolize the woods and streams around the post. She wears sandals on her feet.
Kiyoshi- Kiyoshi is the adult son of Riku and Iku. He is a soldier from the eastern house of the sun and was once Izumis personal guard.
He cares about his family and is loyal to his duties taking them very seriously as a guard and soldier. His personality is not as rambunctious as his fathers is but not as subtle as his mothers, he is in between both.
Kiyoshi appears to be in his early twenties human age wise and is a few centuries older than Sesshomaru and Izumi. He has tanned skin and light brown hair that he keeps just past his shoulders and loose. His eyes are a darker brown in color.
He wears a white kimono with blue hakamas with the symbol of the eastern house of sun on both his clothing and armor.
His weapon is a spear with a hook on the end similar to a scythe. He carry's a sword as a back up weapon as well.
Hikari- Hikari is Kiyoshis mate but has known Riku and Iku for many centuries. Hikari is a dog demon of Celtic descent having been captured and sold after her pack lost in battle. She was sold to the eastern house where Riku befriended her giving her her name and taught her their language.
Hikari feels the need to keep the people most important to her close and has led a rather lonely life wishing to rekindle her former friendships with Riku and Iku as she became very attached to them both.
She appears to be in her late twenties to early thirties. Hikari has long red hair that she keeps loose and green eyes. She wears a yellow kosode with a brown robe over it and sandals.
Chiase- Chiase was once Izumis primary lady in waiting in the eastern house. She is the mother to Izumi and Kinos half brother due to being assaulted and raped by their father.
She is the daughter of Captain Tadao in the east and his unnamed mate. Chiase was once dutiful to her position and standing within the household. She was renowned for her weaving skills and hairstyles making her sought after by other demon households.
She is a shell of her former self and grieves the loss of that part of herself as well as her former life feeling as if she has lost her worth.
Chiase appears to be sixteen to eighteen years old. She has blonde hair that is cropped in a pixie style cut. Her skin is tanned but she appears pale due to the circumstances she endured. Chiase has light blue eyes.
She wears a simple black kimono and sandals.
Kino- Kino is the half sister to Izumi and Chiases son. She was born to a concubine in the eastern house and suffered the first part of her life being assaulted and raped by their father.
The result of this was a forced sterilization that she was unaware of until she became older. Kino fled the eastern house and learned how to live on her own choosing to prefer living outside.
Kino puts up a brave front and enjoys making others laugh. She is a protector and a provider for other women who cannot do so on their own. Kino has come to terms with her past but still has trouble finding her self worth.
She appears to be in her early to mid twenties. Kino has blonde hair that she keeps in braids that are tied to the top of her head.
She has grey eyes and tanned skin. Kino changes her clothing frequently from full length kimonos to hakamas. She wears a chest plate for armor and carry's a sword.
Mizuchi- Mizuchi is the youngest son of Riku and Iku. He is a few months old and appears in his demon form resembling a puppy. He has sandy colored hair, dark brown eyes, and pointed ears.
Kozumi- Kozumi is the son of Kohaku and Izumi. He has all of Kohakus features aside from his ears that resemble his mothers, they are long dog ears that extend from his head down to where a humans ear lobe would be.
Yue- Yue is the eldest twin of Sesshomaru and Rin. She has silver hair and crimson eyes. She is fussy and unsettled most of the time.
Yuki- Yuki is the youngest of the twin girls. She has brown hair and golden eyes. Yuki is much more complacent and happy than her sister.
Yoshi- Yoshi is the youngest son of Mitsuo and Emi. He appears to be human with no bird like features his elder siblings share to date other than feathery hair.
Yoshi has dark gray hair and gray eyes the same as his mother.
Goro- Goro is Rinas father. He lives in the trading post and runs the restaurant and inn. He is in his mid fifties with greying hair that he keeps short. He has brown eyes and wears a cream colored kimono with matching hakamas and animal skin boots.
Mui- Mui is Rinas mother and runs the pleasure house at the trading post. She is in her late forties. Mui has jet black hair and dark brown eyes. She dresses in elegant kimonos to attract business and gettas.
