Hagakuro Heavy Machinery & Industry - Southwestern Neo domino city.
The industrial plant that the two girls arrived at was a place of heritage for the city. Started by the great Arika Hagakuro, It once produced the majority of japan's bullet trains and cars but was now abandoned. Rusted machines laid around everywhere, crains without hooks, unmoving conveyor belts and lathes covered in dust and brine. This place was a symbol of japan's once powerful heavy manufacturing industry, but was now reduced to smithereens thanks to automation and outsourcing. It was almost sad in a way, like a once hot mother turning into a hag.
Mina: Uhm…. Reishi…. Are you sure this is a good idea?
Reishi: Come on mina! We need to go here if we want to get some clues! Don't give in now.
Reishi comforted mina.
The girls reached the entrance of the factory where a rusted door covered in chains lay before them.
Reishi: Huh…
Reishi: How did you guys usually get in?
Mina: Usually me and akeno would for the postmaster who owns this place. He would usually unlock the door. This place is abandoned so he didn't care that we wanted to hang out here.
Reishi: Oh? he sounds pretty cool.
Mina: Yeah, but he'd only do it for a fee. Plus he doesn't work on Tuesdays.
She explained.
Reishi: Hmm.
Reishi: Guess we gotta find a different way in...
Reishi thought about different ways she could get in. She observed a crane and a vent right above it.
Reishi: maybe we could find some boxes and stack them on top of each other and reach that vent over there?
Reishi: Or we could use majuever that crane over there to potentially boost us up and-
?: Ain't nobody got time for that.
From behind they heard a sexy voice. They turned around to shima walking up from behind. She carried her classic steel case which usually carried all of her gadgets. She had a passionate smirk on her face as if she were ready to show off.
Reishi: Shima!
Shima: That's my name!
She quipped.
Reishi: I didn't think you'd come. This kind of doesn't seem like 'your deal'.
Shima: Eh, its 5 pm on a wednesday. I don't have anything to do.
Shima exclaimed
Reishi: Well, I'm just glad you're here.
Mina: Me too….
Shima: So you're mina hotaro?
Mina: You've heard of me?
Shima: Uh, yeah. You're on the school's tournament team! Of course I've heard of you!
Shima stressed.
Mina: Oh yeah...
Shima: The question is have you heard of me?
Mina: Well kind of. I know you as the girl with grandma hair.
Shima: M-My hair is silver not gray!
Shima exclaimed. Reishi giggled and said:
Reishi: I can tell that this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
Shima: Ugh…
Mina: Um so, reishi told me that you can do some 'cool science stuff' to help me find my friend?
Shima: 'Cool science stuff' is a bit of a non-sequitur but yes.
Shima rolled her eyes.
Shima: -But first we need to get through this door.
Shima explained.
Reishi: ...
Shima: -And i've got the perfect thing for it.
Shima opened up her silver case and pulled out a small gray oval device. It had three circular rings that surrounded its exterior with one ring in its interior. It looked almost like a spiral in the way it was constructed.
Shima: I came with this little puppy, a while ago….
Shima: it can open any door or break open any surface.
Reishi: How?
Shima: I was getting to that, little miss impatience.
Shima: Using a centrifugal force modular it can expand any force into breaking by the 5th law of newton.
Mina: S-Such big words…
Reishi: Oh so it's like ring of destruction then?
Shima: Is everything like a card to you, reishi?
Reishi: (Harsh…)
Mina: Umm, question.
Shima: Yeah?
Mina: Isn't this breaking and entering?
Shima: Eh, We're girls. We can get away with anything.
Shima snarked.
Shima: Anyway! Let's get this thing started!
Shima walked up to the locked door and placed her device in the middle of it. She stepped several feet back before taking up a denotation switch. She flashed a grin before saying:
Shima: Brace!
A huge amount of force came from the device as it activated. It could best be described as a wind that spread across the surface of the door. -But it also seems to be more powerful than anticipated as Reishi, Shima and Mina all felt it as it activated.
Everyone: Ah! Gah!
They were all blown back by the sudden force that came to surround them. They were thrust in the air several feet before landing on their tushies quite a distance away.
Reishi: Nailed it.
Shima: Shut up.
All three of them got up. They saw that the door was blown wide open! Chains and locks were scattered across the floors with shima's device had blown them all clear.
Shima: At least it worked.
Reishi: Seriously shima! That thing could've seriously injured us!
Shima: Gee, it was experimental reishi. Calm down.
Reishi: An experimental failure.
Shima: You-
Mina: So can we go inside now?
Shima: Oh yeah sure. Sorry for practicing our comedy routine on ya.
Reishi: *Rolls eyes*
The three girls went inside of the industrial plant and prepared themselves to find akeno.
