An explosion occurred as the axe hit reishi dead on, Causing her an insummerable amount of pain. She fell down to the ground and nearly went unconscious. Shima and hattori could only look on in horror as their friend suffered in this struggle.

Hattori: Senpai No!

Shima: Ahhh!

They cried.

*Ding*

Suddenly though, they could hear the elevator behind them rise up. A single chime rang out as the shaft reached the floor they were on. The elevator doors opened and out came Arthur.

Arthur had a scowl on his face as he came out the elevator, He meant business and wasn't going to stop until his cousin was safe.

Arthur: Where is he, Where's Simon-

He looked ahead and saw Simon unconscious in the cage.

MQ: Oh, Another guest? How quaint.

Reishi: Arthur!

Reishi back stood up and looked at him

Arthur: Milady, Are you alright?

Reishi: I'm fine….

Arthur: You don't look so! Let me help-

Arthur tried to approach Reishi but was stopped by the dark mist that had stopped Shima before.

MQ: *Tsk Tsk* No interfering!

Arthur: You…! You must be a shadowmancer.

MQ: I am not merely a 'shadowmancer' I am the 'Shadowmancer'! The masked queen!

Arthur: Ah!

Arthur took a step back in fear.

MQ: Now let us continue our duel in peace or I'll split your cousin's throat? Ok, Honey?

Arthur: You wench!

Arthur spat.

Shima;: You must be Arthur. Reishi told me so much about you!

Arthur: As did she, Miss shima.

Arthur bowed.

Arthur: Back to the pressing issue, what the devil is going on here.

Hattori: Ehehe, The leader of the shadowmancers kidnapped your cousin and our friend because she's a massive simp and now is dueling reishi to get them back.

Arthur: Hmm makes sense. Not.

Arthur rolls his eyes.

Shima: Yeah, this whole situation is very strange to me. The masked queen could easily just take what she wants but yet she chooses to duel reishi? Odd.

Arthur: Kidnapping my cousin simon was also…. Unnecessary.

Shima: Surely you knew that a shadowmancer kidnapped your brother, in that case i'm wondering what you were even planning to do once you got up here?

Arthur: Umm….

Arthur reached into his jacket and grabbed a taser.

Arthur: Something with this, I suppose.

Hattori: Ahh… The perfect weapon.

Shima: These are people who steal souls and the best you could bring was a taser?

Arthur: Sorry milady, Guns are banned in this foreign land. Unfortunately.

Shima: Ugh.

Shima rolled her eyes and looked back at the duel. Both she,Arthur and hattori knew that there was nothing left for them to do except to watch and pray as Reishi fought this evil witch.

MQ: -With that annoying interlude over, I'll set one card face down and end my turn.

The masked queen relented.
Reishi started her next turn with a burst as she drew her next card with some renewed hope!

She shuffled through her hand before looking at the queen's field. The monstrous hunter stared back at her with its beady like eyes. His bloodlust was something that even Reishi could feel. She shaked the feeling as she analyzed the queen's field.

Reishi: (God….)

Reishi: (It's a good thing that I had 'B for blockade' activated I would've lost!)

Reishi exclaimed.

Reishi: (I think I only have one more here...)

MQ: Hehe... Yes...

The masked queen mumbled to herself, almost as if she knew what Reishi was going to do next.

Reishi: (Guess I shouldn't keep her waiting!)

Reishi: Let's do this! Go musical summon!

Reishi thrust her fist forward! Three stanza rings appeared before her in the fold. In the middle of the rings was a golden vortex that swirled with the power of musicality. Both musicgals turned into pink balls of light and flew into the vortex! A huge explosion happened that nearly knocked everyone off their feets!

Reishi: Come! Musical Dragon!

The legendary dragon that had become Reishi's ace monster materialized onto the field. It had monochromatic wings that spanned 25 feet. They were colored yellow with musical staffs in the middle and eyes with the symbol of music in them. The dragon was truly majestic and nothing compared to it.

MQ: Why can't I? Me and this card have a special bond.

MQ: Yes. You may have deduced this but your card 'musical dragon' used to belong to me!

Reishi: What?

Reishi was somewhat surprised at this revelation. After contemplating it, she realized that it did make sense though, considering that the masked queen had been obsessed with this card.

MQ: Yup. I created the card, It was made using the energy of both darkness and light. In a way it was a representation of my soul.

MQ: Not only that, But it can also harness the raw energy of those two elements within itself.

Reishi: Harness? Light and darkness?

MQ: Yes. It was unlike any of the other cards we created such as the shadowprancer series.

MQ: I usually don't care much for individual cards but this one in particular began to speak out to me. -Both physically and metaphorically. I had never been in love with such a card.

MQ: Ah~ -But perhaps I've said too much!

She sighed.

Reishi: …. Then How did I end up with it?

MQ: I gave it to you, of course.

MQ: The mere thought of you having something that is important to me…. Ah, It filled me with bliss!

The queen grabbed herself in ecstasy.

MQ: So I magically placed it in your deck and the rest is history!

Reishi: Hmph. You gave this super-important card only because you like me? How strange.

MQ: Think of it like a gift from a mother to her daughter or friend to friend.

The queen began to giggle graciously.

Reishi: Your goals are beyond me but regardless I'll use this dragon and its power to defeat you!

Reishi proclaimed!

Reishi: - And now I'll show you my power right now! Musical dragon's ability activates!

Reishi: By banishing a music type monster, I can reduce a monster's attack points on the field by the banished monster's attack!

Reishi banished 'musicgal hearth harp!' Which had an Atk of 1900. Musical dragon roared a mighty roar as it prepared for the incoming burst. It opened it's huge mouth and a yellow and black energy orb formed inside it's mouth. From the orb, a slew of voices and songs could be heard. It was beautiful and could be heard through the room.

The orb fired itself from the dragon's mouth! Launching itself across the field and the monstrous hunter.

Musical dragon spread its wings, Revealing the musical notes inscribed on its wingspan. The dragon's mouth opened revealing a massive amount of energy that manifested itself into a yellow orb which sparkled with the power of music. It fired from the dragon's mouth at the speed of sound not sparing even a second before hitting the emperor and causing a massive explosion that sent the masked queen flying backwards!

MQ: Ahahaha…

She giggled.

Reishi: You're not going to win this! I will defeat you and free my friends.

MQ: Ah reishi, Your cliche Heroic speeches do amuse me so.

MQ: But…. There is one thing you fail to realize.

Reishi: What's that?

MQ: That my darkness is endless.

She said in a serious tone.

Reishi: …. *Tch*

Reishi: I'll end my turn.

Reishi said as the two glared at each other.

MQ: My turn! I draw.

The woman put her hand on her deck and drew a card from her deck. The power of darkness was clear in her draw as a purple haze surrounded her draw. She looked at the card and played her next move.

MQ: I'll use pot of greed!

A green pot with a mischievous face appeared on the field.

Reishi: Aren't you going to explain what it does?

MQ: No.

Reishi: Ok then.

The masked queen drew two cards and advanced with her turn.

MQ: I'm sorry, My dear. I'll have to go all out now!

Reishi: Ah….!

MQ: I activate a spell card! - Queen's gambit!

MQ: By banishing my entire hand, I can summon 'Black Chess Knight' and 'White Chess Knight' from my deck!

Reishi: Nani?

Behind the queen an assortment of black white tiles appeared. They all turned and twisted in a dark orchestra, almost seeming to taunt reishi. The tiles eventually began to crack, breaking apart into several pieces. The shattered pieces of glass formed into two entities - One was a knight in pure black armor that carried a 10 foot long spear that he could pierce any foe he faced. The other was A pure White knight that carried a long lance in his hands. Free of doubt, he looked menacingly at reishi!

She chortled.

MQ:Brace yourself! I'm going to use these two monsters to Musical Summon!

Reishi: A-A musical summon!? (Even she has this power...?)

MQ: Using both of my chess knights, I'll contact the musical dimension!

A Five ringed stanza appeared in the ground as the queen began to cackle endlessly. A Dark blue and pink light vortex swirled within said ring, perhaps representing the contrast within her own heart. Her two monsters turned into dark balls of light and flew into the vortex! Their collision caused a great light to appear from the center!
