MQ: Come, Chess Dragon!
A large dragon burst onto the field. A shockwave came as it forced itself on to the field, nearly blowing back Reishi and the masked queen with its force. This dragon that the queen has summoned was truly terrifying. It was 50 feet tall and 30 feet wide, Almost as large as the dueling arena itself. It had very large wings and reptilian-like arms as a terrifying combination. As the name suggests, it had a chess motif. The dragon was monochrome with one side of its body being white and the other side being black, it both symbolized order and chaos. This monster, wherever it came from, was truly the ethos of the masked queen.

Reishi felt a dark aura surrounding that monster. She began to feel a sort of an anxiety she had never felt before and nearly cowered in fear as its looming presence dominated her.
MQ: Ah. Do you feel that, my love?That fear,anxiety and despair? That's because of my card.
MQ: It was created with the power of pure darkness. An element that can infuse anything with negative emotions. Such a powerful combination.
MQ: Isn't it funny how I used this power on a trading card of all things? Hahaha.
MQ: -But these two cards are like children to me! Sick, Flat, Paper children!
She giggled.
Reishi: ….
MQ: At a loss for words? I would be too! This monster is so magnifique!
She said.
Reishi: Aye. You talk too much! I don't care what monster you summon, it'll never be a match for me!
MQ: Hehe…. Bravery in the darkness is truly a magnificent bluff reishi!
MQ: But you won't be so confident after this!
MQ: I activate a spell card! Galaxy Cyclone!
A spell card appeared on the field! It was a succulent one that's artwork depicted a swirling vortex in space!
MQ: With this card, I get to destroy a spell or trap card on the field!
Reishi: Argh!
MQ: I'll destroy your 'B for blockade!
A tornado infused with the power of space came out of the card and blustered it's way towards reishi's blockade. It swirled around and surrounded the ginormous 'B' before ripping it a part with its massive wind forces.
Reishi: Gah….
MQ: Ufufu! Now you shall feel my full wrath!
MQ: Go chess dragon! Checkmate blast!
The dragon roared as a dark soliloquy played in the background. Black and white flames appeared in its mouth, representing both chaos and the twisted game whom he represented. These flames soon shot out of his mouth like a rocket and headed towards reishi's musical dragon!
Reishi: Musical dragon!
The flames quickly surrounded the musical dragon and began searing it like a barbecue! The monster soon combusted into million pieces and Reishi took a minor amount of damage.
Reishi LP: 3600
MQ: Ah, it hurts me to destroy the monster I created~ . It'd be like killing one's own baby.
Reishi: In a way you are killing your own baby. These two cards do have souls you know!
MQ: Ah yes but they're much more meager and of lesser quality than human ones! They're equivalent to dogs to me!
Reishi: Dogs are still living things you know! -And fact that using these cards for your amusement and sadism is disgusting!
MQ: Aren't you just as bad then? For using your own card in this duels! I wonder how it felt when that poor baby was burned to a crisp !
She said in a mocking tone.
Reishi: D-Don't try to flip this on me!
MQ: Ehehe. Not taking responsibility is a family tradition I see~ Another thing we have in common!
Reishi: We don't have anything in common! I'm not like you!
MQ: Ufufu! Keep telling yourself that!
MQ: Anyway, I end my turn.
She bowed to reishi.
Reishi's turn began and she now knew she had her work cut out for her. She had to destroy the chess dragon at any cost if she stood a chance at winning this duel.
Reishi: (...)
She looked at the card she drew, it was the card - hand restart. It allowed her and the opponent to draw five cards at the cost of her being able to do damage that turn.
Reishi: (I need to advance my strategy and the cards in my hand won't allow me to do so! I have to activate this card!)
Reishi: I'll use a spell card - hand restart!
Reishi: This card allows us both to discard our hands and draw 5 new cards!
MQ: Oh dear… That might not be the greatest choice for reishi. Giving me 5 new cards.
Reishi: (-But its the only choice I have….)
MQ: Still though, it is nice~
Reishi: Quiet.
Reishi discarded her entire hand and drew five new cards to her hand! The masked queen did the same.
Reishi looked at the five cards she drew. They were:

Reishi: (Dammit! None of these cards give me any good plays.)
She cursed. The girl sighed as she tried to collect her thoughts
Reishi: Ok reishi... I need to think outside the box.
Reishi: I Don't know chess dragon's abilities yet, so I should try to corner the masked queen in a way that'll null any ability this dragon has!
Reishi: Let's go!
Reishi: I summon Musicgal Violetta Violin!
An oshiete girl with bright purple hair and brunette eyes came out. She was carrying a small violin that she held over her arms like a sword. Finally she wore a long flowing dress that fluttered in the night!

The masked queen braced herself while reishi's Monster strummed its violin with its violin bow. A sharp sound came out of it, it was almost ear piercing in a way and it caused both reishi and the queen great harm.

Reishi: Then I can summon a monster with lower atk points than the damage I inflicted! Come! Banjo bunny!
A light appeared from the violin the monster was carrying and a new creature came swarming, er hopping out of it! It was a white bunny with a large banjo-like structure in the middle of its body. Whether this banjo was part of its biological makeup or it was transfixed on to it is a secret only known to the beady eyed creature.

MQ: Oh reishi-kins! Summoning such cute monsters! It'll be all the fun destroying and watching your cute face despair!
Reishi: Txh! You won't get the chance! I'm going to musical summon!
MQ: Hmm!
Reishi's two monsters turned into two pink glowing balls of light which floated middair in their casuality. Three magical stanzas appeared once more in the ground, forming a circular vortex which opened up a portal to the musical dimension.
The two monsters joined in the vortex and an explosion happened!
Reishi: Musical summon!
Thunder began to ring out and strike the field! A dark vortex soon swirled in front of Reishi and a dark being soon came into existence as the storm parted upon the field. His entire body was covered in flesh and bones and gave him an unwordly appearance. He had two dark wings on his back, which added to the allure of a creature of the night. Finally his entire head was one skull with a frighteningly menacing exterior.
Reishi: Come! Musically summoned skull!
A dark fiend stood right in front of reishi. The huge lumbering monster stared down the masked queen and the chess dragon. He sparked with the power of electricity as his cold bones simmered in the summer night. This 'summoned skull' was reminiscent of the monster used by the king of games himself

The queen made puppy dog eyes with Akeno's body.
Reishi: You kidnapped my pets, cut off their appendages, kidnapped my friend and beat her so badly she needed a cast. You kidnapped two more of my friends and are still holding them. That's evil by my standard,
MQ: Hmph. That's only tough love. I just want your attention.
MQ: Remember when you were 9 years old and had a crush on a boy named haruto. You stepped on his toe accidentally in order to get him to notice you!
Hattori: I wish she would step on my toes….
Reishi: T-That was different! -And how do you know about that!?
MQ: Oh reishi, I've been watching you far longer than you realize.
Reishi: You stalker!
MQ: It's not stalking as your friend hattori would say 'its following someone at a meta level'
Hattori: hehe! At least when I do, it's consensual between me and senpai!
Reishi: N-No its not!
MQ: Haha. Anyway, I wasn't physically 'stalking you' anyway, just watching you through my magic. Think of it as an all seeing eye. I could watch you and see all you actions while sitting at my home~
Reishi: Watching from afar is still stalking!
MQ: Ufufu! Whatever you say~
Reishi; (Ugh. This is going nowhere!)
Reishi: (Though, If she has been watching me this long… I wonder how much she knows! Creepy!)
Reishi: I'll activate musically summoned skull's ability!
Thunder began to crackle from the sky above while reishi commanded her monster!
Reishi: By paying 1000 life points, I can destroy one card on the field!
MQ: Eh…?
Reishi LP: 2600
The masked queen looked shocked when the monster's ability was revealed. She looked even more surprised when a bolt of lightning suddenly came from the sky and began to descend on her monster. -But it seemed she was feigning it as she immediately began cackling!
MQ: *Tsk Tsk tsk* Oh reishi! Did you really think it would be that easy!
Reishi: … what-?
MQ: Chess dragon's effect activates!
The dragon let out a giant roar while an eerie aura appeared around it.
MQ: When you activate a monster's effect during either player's turn, I can negate that monsters effect-
MQ: -And destroy that monster!
Reishi: Gah!
Above her musically summoned skull, giant chess piece appeared. It was a rook that was black and translucent in appearance, with a giant unknown symbol in its middle. Reishi could see where this was going and closed her eyes in distress. The chess piece slammed down on her monster, destroying it in seconds and leaving nothing left.
MQ: Womp womp. Back to the drawing board my dear.
The masked queen teased.
Reishi: (... That was the only strategy I had!)
Reishi: ... I-I...
MQ: Say it~
Reishi: I... End my turn.
MQ: Good girl.
The masked queen winked at her. She then out her hand on her own deck and slyly pulled a card.
MQ: Ah, you are dueling so poorly, kjerring. Maybe I should help you…
MQ: -Just like I helped you with that lo fang girl…
Those words rang hollow to reishi. She didn't understand what she was talking about for a couple of seconds before it hit her like a brick.
Reishi: Wait. We're you the AI on the RX-5?
MQ: Hehe, Wasn't it obvious? I couldn't let my reishi-kins lose to that jobber!
Reishi: You…! You made me think I was insane!
MQ: Ehehehe. Sorry about that~
Reishi's anger swelled as the queen revealed her secret but she had no time to worry about that as her duel continued onwards.
MQ: Honestly, Reishi, what's even the point of going on anymore?
MQ: Honestly this whole thing has been a waste of my time! We could've have been bonding some other way!
Reishi: Y-You were the one who wanted to duel me in the first place.
MQ: Touchè. -But even I can recognize when something is fruitless!
Reishi: If I give up, Simon and Mina will be lost forever!
MQ: Ah, Reishi has so much altruism for these people! Why? You've known both of them for less than a month!
Reishi: Because they're my friends-
MQ: "-And I have to help them because of our bond and blah blah blah!" Sheesh, I love you Reishi but you are such a predictable person.
Reishi: Hmph! Well I'm not giving up and that's that!
Shima: That's right, Stand your ground reishi!
Shima cheered.
MQ: Hmph. I suppose I'll have to force your hand then. Literally.
MQ: I summon a monster! Travesty of Nightmare
A deathly monster appeared on the field. It was a seemingly floating skull made of some dark mist that was lucid in nature. The skull had an eerie nature that reminded Reishi of many horror shows she had watched as a kid.

MQ: Hehe! I activate a trap card or should I say- Trap monster! Come, dragon of Ma'at!
Her trap card flipped over and revealed itself. Its artwork revealed a horrifying image of a scaly dragon eating an ancient human being of the civilization of egypt.
From the card, the beast began to appear! Scales cold as ice that blazes bright as an ever-flickering flame. His chest holds a hearth of burning fire, although in his remorseless heart lay rime. Eyes that turn skin into a sickly pallor, claws able to lacerate even the sturdiest to mere ribbons of flesh and bone, blood so black that night held an intense radiance that could blind your eyes. With his tongue he could smell your dread and taste your fear. In its claws with a gold orb for which it predicted it's victims death - By it's own hand!
This monster immediately gave reishi war flashbacks as she remembered it from her duel with the previous shadowmancer.

MQ: Let's get straight to the bloodbath! Chess dragon! Attack her directly!
a flare of black and white energy appeared once more while the chess dragon prepared to attack. Black and white flames appeared in its mouth, representing a scorched earth that was in the future if the shadowmancers won .These flames soon shot out of his mouth like a rocket and headed towards reishi.
Reishi: Ah….!
MQ: …
Reishi: (It's either now or never!)
Reishi: From my hand I activate a monster card ability! Musikuriboh!
A shining light came from reishi's hand. She revealed a new monster in her hand and showed it to the masked queen who reacted with a bit of surprise.
Reishi: By banishing this card from my hand and several musical cards from my graveyard, I can negate attacks equal to the amount of cards banished!
MQ: Hmm. How prudent.
Reishi removed from musikuriboh and several other 'musical' type cards from her graveyard in order to stop this attack. Three octagonal shields of light appeared right in front of her, they stood in the path of the flames, ready to defend her against the onslaught.
MQ: Ahh how tragic.
The flames were snuffed out as they hit the shield. Rendering the attack pointless.
Reishi: That was a close one….
MQ: I suppose there is no point in going on then. I end my turn.
The masked queen glared at reishi and said:
MQ: Just like a professor you have an answer for everything, don't you?
Reishi: As long as I have my wits….! I'll be able to counter anything
MQ: Ehehe. We'll see you'll be able to keep those wits as I destroy them!
The masked queen threatened as their epic battle continued.
Reishi's hope was to liberate her friends from the evil clutches of the masked queen. Would she be able to accomplish this? Her fate remained unsettled.
