Akeno's body lay in a bloody pool of despair. Her arms and legs were twisted in a way that seemed unnatural. Her eyes were closed, almost as if she was sleeping. Her clothes were entirely tattered and covered in dirt, it was almost as someone had gone out of their way to disrespect her. Reishi, Arthur, Shima and Hattori all looked at her body. They had all rushed to the ground level, hoping to save Akeno but to no avail. She was clearly dead.
Arthur: … I'll notify the police.
Arthur meekly said as he stepped away from the group.
Reishi: (No...)
A deep dark regret washed over Reishi's body as she stared at akeno. This girl was dead and she felt responsible.
Reishi: This is all my fault…
She said.
Reishi: If I had just done what those two shadowmancers said and given myself up, none of this would've happened.
Hattori: …
Reishi: -But no. I just had to play the hero. I had to put everyone else in danger just for some moral stand!
Reishi: -And now, Akeno is dead. Mina's lost her best friend and you all have targets on your backs.
Reishi: God, I'm the worst friend ever…..
Reishi looked down at the ground. Tears began to stream from her face
Hattori: Shut up.
Reishi: Huh?
Hattori: Reishi, I've known for such a long time now! I've loved you since I first laid eyes on you! You're beautiful, brave, smart and sexy! All the things I love.
Hattori stated!
Hattori Seeing you like this honestly makes me not love you! The senpai I fell in love with would never succumb to darkness! Never!
Reishi: Hattori….
Reishi looked at hattori with glistening eyes. She was moved by hattori's motivational words. It rekindled a certain fire in her, one that had been extinguished by the masked queen's darkness.
Shima: For once I agree with hattori. Reishi, You can't blame yourself.
Shima: The person who killed Akeno is the masked queen, not you. Your only crime is finding the lust of a crazed bitch.
Shima swore angrily.
Shima: You were one who told me that I should stick up for myself! Well, how about you take your own advice!
Shima: look, I'm just a girl in a lab coat and hattori is a pervert, there needs to be some heroine who can stand up to these shadowmancers! They need to be stopped!
Reishi: Shima.
Shima's words, too, had inspired her. It created a wave of hope in heart that crushed any feelings of doubt she had.
Arthur: I concur milady.
Arthur came back to the area the girls were in, he had a serious look on face as he walked towards reishi, seeking to encourage her.
Arthur: I've only known you for a short time but in said time, I've known you to be the strongest person I met! Kind, compassionate and brave, You're the most moral person i've ever met. The perfect one to combat this darkness.
Reishi: ….
Arthur: You helped me when I needed inspiration for my own book, so let me give you some inspiration of my own - Keep pressing forward! You can't give up!
Reishi: …Arthur!
Reishi felt a new wave of hope and inspiration after hearing the words of her friends! She metaphorically picked herself up and began looking towards the moon - Something for which she admired. She then looked at her friends, the guiding beacon of her life. She thanked them.
Reishi: Thank you all….
Shima: No problem, it's our job to lighten you up.
Hattori: Yeah! I don't like edgy, emo senpai. I like the Happy, optimist, sexy senpai!
Arthur: What she said, minus the last part.
Reishi: Heh.
Reishi chuckled while looking at them.
Hattori: So what now?
Arthur: well, the police are on their way and we've got friends back. So I suppose there isn't much for us to do.
Arthur said while looking to the right. Simon and mina had been placed on a nearby bench where they still slept, unperturbed.
Reishi: I still dread the fact that we're going to have to tell mina her best friend is dead. How tragic.
Shima: Gosh, Poor girl. Maybe I could clone her another friend?
Everyone Else: …..
Shima: I-It was a joke!
Arthur: Well, If such a thing were possible, I don't think she'd take it.
Reishi: Mmhmm. Akeno was her true friend.
Hattori: Poor mina.
Reishi looked akeno's body poor girl has been taken in by the shadowmancers allure and then had been thrown out like a piece of garbage. How could anyone be so cruel? How could they have no regard for her life after all? A tranquil fury began to swell in reishi before she said the next line.
Reishi: We need to put on a front against these shadowmancers
Arthur: A front you say?
Reishi: Yes, A sort of alliance between all of us. We've all been hurt by the shadowmancers and I think its our duty to stop them.
Arthur: Oh dear, You sound like a hero from one of my books! -And I like it!
Arthur teased.
Reishi: Look, fighting the shadowmancers is going to be dangerous and I wouldn't blame you if you don't wanna join my fight.
Reishi: -But I will ask: are you with me?
Reishi looked at her friends, She knew they were loyal
Their eyes sparkled with the ever wavering symphony of music while they gave their answers to reishi's query.
Arthur: Of course.
Hattori: I'll follow you anywhere, senpai!
Shima: Do you even need to ask? Of course i'll stick with you.
Reishi: You guys...
Reishi had her answer! Her friends would stand with her against the shadowmancers. They all would put on a united front together.
Arthur: I suppose we should come up with a name for our little alliance. Any proposals?
Hattori: Oh oh, I know! How about reishi's light?
Hattori raised her hand like a child and smiled. Reishi blushed
Reishi: Yeah, That's a bit too embarrassing for me, Let's Choose something elese.
Shima: How about team satisfaction?
Hattori: Hehe. That's so cheesy shima~
Shima: A-And team Reishi's light isn't?
Reishi: Heh.
Reishi merely chuckled
Arthur: I think I have an idea.
Arthur: We should call ourselves The anti shadowmancer syndicate!
Shima: So…. A.S.S for short?
Shima said and hattori chuckled.
Reishi: How about the anti-shadowmancer alliance instead?
Arthur: Yeah. That's MUCH better.
Arthur exclaimed while taking a deep breath.
Reishi: Okay… everyone from now on, we'll all be known as the anti-shadowmancer alliance. -Or the A.S.A for short.
Reishi: We'll oppose the shadowmancers and the masked queen wherever they decide to strike! -and fight them till the end! This will be our oath! Are you willing?
Hattori,Shima and Arthur: Yeah!
Reishi: -And with that our new alliance is born! This will be our Symphony of Hope!
The moonlight shines over the six of them as they made this alliance. Darkness had once shrouded all of their vision but now for once, they could see the light. Their friendship had once again captured a new hope in themselves and the future as they prepared to face it arm in arm and hand in hand.
An alliance of hope,friendship and love has been made and no matter what force of darkness tries to destroy it, it will always prevail.
