Hello! This is my first ever story and I'm really excited, hope all of you love it. Please review I love all feed back nice or not :)
To explain somethings, this town has no humans everyone is some type of supernatural creature whether a witch, vampire, werewolf etc etc. Elena and her family are witches and the vampires go to school regardless of their age mostly out of boredom.
Disclaimer : TVD or The Vampire Diaries is not mine, the show rightfully belongs to Julie Plec and Kevin Williamson
"Well everything has been unpacked and put into the right places, now what?" Asked Elena as she sat next to her mother on the couch.
"We need to discuss school and the rules of this town so go get your brother," replied her mother. Elena got up and headed to the stairs.
"Jeremy get your butt down here!" Elena yelled up the stairs.
"I'm coming I'm coming no need to yell," Jeremy shouted back.
Elena went back to the living room and sat back down on the couch she occupied earlier. A few moments later Jeremy came down the stairs with his ipod on his hand.
"What?" He asked annoyed.
"We need to talk about school is what," his mother replied. Jeremy rolled his eyes and sat down on the opposite couch. "So you know both know the high school you'll be attending to, Elena you will be taking your car and driving yourself and Jeremy to school every day." Her mother looked at her for confirmation and Elena nodded her head.
"Is that it?" Jeremy asked annoyed.
"No it's not, your father told me to warn you guys to watch out for the vampires in this town as more and more are coming in, seeing how Mystic Falls is a place for all supernatural. Finally, this town has a rule when it comes to dating, you cannot under any circumstances date anyone that is not one of you, in your case a witch. The consequences will not only affect you, but will affect the whole family. Look at this picture." She showed them a picture of a middle aged man with brown hair and brown eyes. "Name is Charles Lockwood, head of the council. Memorize name, memorize face, he's the Mayor of this town. If he finds out you did anything that could be remotely considered romantic we are all in deep trouble do you understand?" To which they both nodded.
"But why?" Asked Elena.
"They are worried incase two people, let's say a witch and a vampire reproduce, hybrids aren't tolerated, the council is very strict about 'order' so no dating anyone who isn't a witch, understand?" She looked at both if them and they nodded. "Great, now come dinner is almost ready."
After a dinner with Jeremy and Elena bickering about one thing or another everyone went into their rooms waiting for the next day to come.
"Okay school starts tomorrow so we need to get you and Jeremy some supplies." Her mother said as they walked around the first day back aisle. "Here take this card and get everything you need, don't forget stuff for Jeremy too." Elena nodded as her mother left to buy groceries.
Elena was picking two of everything and putting it in the cart. Some pens, pencils a calculators and what not. There were some binders on a high shelf that she couldn't reach as much as she tried she couldn't. Then a hand went to get get them for her.
"Here you go," Elena looked over to see a boy, no, a beautifully carved man looking at her. He had black hair that contrasts with his pale skin, and beautiful blue eyes that were staring deeply at her. His lips turned into an amazing smile as he glanced over her.
"I don't think I've seen you around. Are you knew here?" He asked to which Elena nodded. "Cool, I'm Damon." He said and held out his hand out towards
"I'm Elena." She said and put her hand out to shake his. Only for him to grab her hand and kiss the back of it.
"Elena," he said trying it out. "I like it." He smirked. "So Elena, are you attending the high school?" He asked to which Elena nodded knowing the school he was on about since there was only one in this small town. "Great I'll keep an eye out for you." He smirked and walked off.
Shaking her head she walked over to go pay for her stuff and wait for her mum by the car.
Elena woke up with a smile on her face excited to go to school and see Damon again, hopefully he's a witch because she really liked him, and wanted to see if it could go further. After she got dressed, she walked down the stairs and smelled waffles with Nutella on, her favourite.
"Good morning mum," Elena cheered.
"Someone's in a good mood, anything to do with going to a new school?" She winked at her.
"Could be, or could be the smell of my favourite breakfast," her smile widened as she spotted it.
"I'm running late for work so I have to go now, I'm trusting you and your brother to get to school on time?" She asked.
"We will, have a nice day!" She shouted.
"You too!" She yelled back. Then the door closed so Elena decided to go to the living room to watch some TV while eating her breakfast. Although when she went in she couldn't find Jeremy. That's wierd. She thought they were going to school together? Checking her phone she saw a message from Jeremy.
Jeremy: Went to school by myself. See you later
You could've said something last night, idiot she thought. Checking the time she realised she had 5 minutes to eat and 20 minutes to get to school. Crap she thought I'm going to be late. She quickly ate her food and jumped into her car and sped off.
10 minutes later she arrived at the school parking lot more scared than earlier. New girl, new school, what could go wrong? Walking into the building she decided to go to the head teachers office to help her find her locker. She found him instantly and he helped her find her locker, as well as giving her the textbooks she needed and pointing her to her first class.
"Maths. Room 10C Mrs Crotair," he said to her. He then went to the teacher explaining who the new student was.
"Miss Gilbert, please take a seat over there," she pointed to a seat in between a blonde with curly hair and a light skinned girl with green eyes, the blonde focusing on her while the latter was reading a book.
Elena made her way over and sat down and as soon as she did the blonde started disturbing her with a lot of questions. "Hi, who are you? Are you new? What's your name? Where did you come from? Are you staying for the rest of this year? Or just the semester? Are you interested in cheerleading? What's your-"
"Caroline!" The green-eyed girl called.
"What?"
"She can't answer your questions if you don't give her time to answer, stop overwhelming her." She answered.
"I'm sorry," she said to Elena. "I'm Caroline."
"I'm Elena." Elena answered. "To answer your questions, I am new, I'm from Georgia, staying for the rest of senior year and yes I do like cheerlead-" she didn't get to finish because Caroline started squealing.
"Can you stop squealing I'm trying to read," the girl on the opposite side called again. She then turned to Elena and introduced herself. "I'm Bonnie."
"Nice to meet you," she smiled. Before Bonnie could reply the teacher called out.
"Okay class open your textbooks to page 127 as we are going over equations again," that was followed by a groan but everyone did as she said. Twenty minutes into the lesson there was a knock on the door. "Ah, Mr Salvatore, Mikaelson and St John, nice for you to grace us with your presences," she rolled her eyes.
"How could we pass up making you feel special," said a deep voice making Elena look up to see her binder helper Damon, being sarcastic with the teacher.
