After witnessing the death of one of the few people that cared about him Ena come's to a decision. If the nations refuse to make peace then he will force them to, united under one rule his. But this would take time, allies and above all strength enough strength to stand above the likes of Madara and Hashirama even the sage. Ena would realise his goal. even at the cost of his life.

8. The Dawn

Time until doomsday: 31 years, 4 months, 24 weeks, 179 days. Current year: 1983

Ena and Sasuke were waiting on a rooftop nearby Gato's gals the large sign was glowing neon pink they had been here for around an hour waiting for Albedo and Tsunami to arrive. Sasuke was currently leaning on one knee looking over the brothel watching as Gato's men walked in by the dozen's his teammate was currently lying on his back looking at the stars thinking. Sasuke had changed out of his casual outfit into a set of dark blue clothing consisting of a trench coat over a shirt and baggy pants he had also removed his headband. His teammate had also changed his outfit, on his upper body he had three layers of clothing consisting of his blue tank top, an orange hoodie and a black leather jacket with an orange interior wile on his lower half he wore a pair of plain jeans and black shoes. Ena noticed that Sasuke had been glancing back at him repeatedly for the past twenty minutes sighing heavily the jinchuriki sat up "Alright, tell me what's wrong Sasuke." The Uchiha's back stiffened "Nothing is wrong, just drop it."

"Bullshit nothings wrong! You've been off for months now tell me what's wrong damnit!" Sasuke whirled around glaring at his teammate.

Sasuke stomped towards him looking into the jinchuriki's eyes "I'm different! Ena, you vanished off the face of the earth for eight years and then come back two months ago completely different!" Ena scoffed throwing his hands in the air. "I told you I was leaving a week before I did and you were fine with it what changed!"

"It's not because you left- "

"Then what's the fucking issue!"

"IT'S BECAUSE YOU LEFT WHEN I NEEDED YOU THE MOST!" he shouted furious the boys stared at each other for a moment then simultaneously sat down beside each other. They sat there quietly for a few moments watching the brothel. "I'm sorry," Ena started "About leaving if I had known about the massacre earlier, I would have come straight back but by the time I was told what happened I was in the land of iron."

"Why were you there?" Ena looked away for a moment shaking his head not answering they sat in silence once again the only noise in the night being the chatter of the patrons of Gato's gals "I don't think I asked but… what happened that day, I never got told the specific's and I want to hear it from you." Sasuke sat their quiet for a few moments gathering his thoughts sorting through the memories of that horrific day.

"I wasn't there for the actual massacre obviously, I was coming home from the academy they had kept me behind for a few hours to talk about something, I don't remember what. When I got back it was terrifying Ena, there were bodies everywhere people I knew people I was friends with, members of my clan massacred. That's when I heard mom scream." A haunted look appeared in the young boys' eyes "When I got home dad was lying there… dead and mom was being attacked by someone so I panicked and I threw my bag at them… it turns out the person that had killed everyone… it was Itachi!" Sasuke looked at Ena tears in the corners of his eyes and his voice cracked slightly as he talked "My own brother had massacred everyone I ever loved except my mother and when I asked why he would do such a monstrous thing you know what he said? 'I needed to test my strength' that was his excuse for trying to commit genocide on my clan on his clan." Sasuke was shaking with rage at this point and Ena could almost smell the fury from his friend after a few moments Sasuke spoke once again "And you want to know what the worst part is? He showed me how he did it, he put me in a fucking genjutsu just to show me exactly how he slaughtered my clan over and over and over again for what felt like hours! That's what happened that day Ena that is why when I find him, I am going to have my vengeance." Sasuke was breathing heavily after his rant, Ena's eyes had widened he knew Itachi had killed 97% of the Uchiha clan but to trap his owned brother in a genjutsu and force him to see how his clan was murdered that was… extreme and didn't make sense. Before Ena had time to think on Sasuke's words he noticed something. Standing back up Ena made his way to the edge, looking towards the brothel he saw a large amount of people in a line mostly men but there were some women, most of the men were Gato's goons. Glancing to the left he saw Tsunami and Albedo making their way towards the alley beside there building.

looking back at his teammate Ena nodded and the "last" Uchiha pulled up a black face mask and placing white mask that had a single lightning bolt just above the right eye over his face. Lifting his own facemask Ena reached into his inventory and took out the mask he would be wearing for the mission. It was made of metal and looked like the front of a human skull. It was pitch black with numerous pieces of bonze metal surrounding it. It looked like it had been split down the middle and the "mouth" was wide open rea red velvet beneath numerous metallic stiches held the mask together and instead of there being empty sockets a large piece of glass sat in the left socket while three smaller ones sat in the right. Unlike Sasuke Ena didn't get this mask from Tazuna, it was a… "Gift" from a being that he hoped to never meet again. Ena hadn't looked at this mask in four years, out of curiosity the unnaturally tall boy casted Observe

Ena continued to stare at the mask for a moment and then put it on, his vision flashed red for a moment but then returned to normal. Walking forward he stood beside Sasuke they both glanced at each other for a moment then jumped off the roof landing Infront of Tsunami and Albedo with nary a sound Tsunami flinched while Albedo merely smiled at their arrival the quartet looked at each other for a moment taking in each other's appearance's. Albedo was dressed in her usual outfit but had hidden her horns and wings beneath a simple genjutsu casted by Kakashi, Tsunami's appearance had changed massively, instead of her usual clothing she now wore a very expensive red dress and high heels that Ena had… borrowed from one of Gato's mistresses which wasn't particularly hard to do. After a moment Ena spoke "We all remember the plan or do I have to go over it again?" Sasuke and Albedo nodded but Tsunami hesitated and then shook her head. Ena inhaled deeply and the exhaled. "Alright Tsunami you're probably nervous so I'll go over this one more time. In a few minutes we're going to infiltrate that building over there in two separate teams you and Albedo will be acting as brothel owners wanting to make a deal, if anyone gives you trouble Albedo will take of them in a non-lethal manner." He looked at Albedo for that last part who nodded happily, turning back to Tsunami Ena continued. "while that's happening Sasuke and I will be going into the more restricted areas this is Gato's building there's a chance he's got something here and it might tell us where the drugs are made and by who, got it?" Tsunami nodded after a few moments and Ena smiled beneath his mask. "Well let's get started shall we." The boy tuned towards the brothel and began to walk forward confident in their success.

Ena suddenly stopped when he felt a massive amount of chakra be built up his eyes widened in shock but unfortunately for the boy, he had no time to worn his teammates and that's when everything went to shit.

The entrance to the brothel suddenly and violently exploded a shockwave knocked the group off their feet. Ena felt something impact his stomach sending a sharp lance of pain and he landed heavily on the ground with a grunt his vision was blurry, his ears were ringing, his body was covered with cuts and smoke filled his vision. As he tried to sit up, he felt a sharp pain in his stomach he winced and held back a grunt looking down Ena saw what the problem was a long-jagged piece of stone that was currently in his stomach, every time Ena tried to move, he felt his insides getting cut and the stone moving deeper making him grit his teeth. Ena growled in annoyance raising his hands he firmly gripped the piece of stone and began the painful process of removing it.

The youth was barely able to hold back a scream of pain as he pulled slowly trying not to injure himself further. For what felt like hours he pulled and pulled and with one final yank the stone was removed and blood began to flow freely from the wound Ena shakily stood up as the hole began to steam shut his ears were still ringing and smoke surrounded the alley but he knew his team was here he just had to find them. His hearing began to slowly return but the smoke remained when his hearing retuned Ena could finally hear the screams of horror and pain from the bystander's numerous people were shouting and the crackle of fire surrounded him. He could barely pick out the what had to be dozens of voices. Looking around he saw the silhouettes of his group nearby, stumbling towards them he walked through the smoke and saw his team in varying states of injury. Tsunami was unconscious had a myriad of cuts all over her body and her dress was slightly torn in places. Sasuke was currently picking small bits of debris out his body, Albedo was the most injured she was bleeding slightly from her forehead and had a large hole in one of her wings.

Ena growled in anger his friends were hurt and he couldn't stop it Sasuke and Albedo noticed him they both dashed forward as Ena fell to one knee. "My lord! Are you injured!?" Albedo asked worry voice, Ena glanced down at his stomach seeing that the large hole that had been there moments before had fully healed "I'm fine now Albedo but I need you to do something for me, you have to get Tsunami out of here and back to Tazuna's house can you do that for me?" Albedo hesitated for a moment then nodded Ena smiled for a moment then looked at Sasuke a silent message passing between them moments later they were albedo was leaving with Tsunami while Ena and Sasuke ran towards the brothel and as the smoke cleared, they realised just how many people had died.

Blood soaked the streets and bodies littered the floor some had missing limbs others had large pieces of debris lodged in their bodies one of two were even missing their entire upper half. Sasuke grimaced trying to hold back the need to vomit while Ena ignored it all. The genin arrived the entrance of the building ignoring the screams of fear and pain from the civilians, they stared at what should have been the front of the building was instead nothing but rubble and ash. Continuing inside they quickly realised the problem there was absolutely nothing no bodies, no panicking people, not even a speck of blood only rubble. Reaching towards his face Ena removed the terror Dunwall and pulled down his face mask.

Letting out a sigh the jinchuriki let out a sigh glancing at Sasuke who had also taken off his mask and looked slightly nervous but hid it well.

Ena glanced around trying to find a hint of what happened when he heard the sound of blood dripping focusing his hearing Ena realised it was coming from, beneath him? Looking down Ena noticed a small gap in the carpet reaching down he pulled the section back revealing a trap door calling for Sasuke Ena lifted the trap door up the bottom having been caked in blood and showing a ladder that led into a pit of darkness Ena exchanged a quick glance with Sasuke coming to a silent agreement. Going down the ladder the genin found them selves in a hallway that was just bright enough to see a door quietly Ena walked towards the door and with a gentle pushed opened. What lay beyond horrified him.

Bodies of all shapes and sizes laid strewn about the ground all of them with horrifying injuries, organs and limbs were strewn across the ground some looked like they bad been blasted off Ena and Sasuke felt like they were going to vomit but they both held back. As they stepped inside the smell of blood was overpowering and they realised just how many bodies there was blood caked the hallway it was on the floor, walls and even the ceiling. It was a fucking massacre Ena noticed one important thing, there was no signs of any sort of explosion being used the genin narrowed his eyes something was off. As they walked Ena felt something squish beneath his feet ad realised it was an eye, Ena clenched his fist in fury what kind of madman did it take to do this. His head snapped to the right when he heard a scream of utter agony followed by laughter filled with madness.

Ena reacted instantly, his foot slamming into the ground cracking it and he was off like a bullet becoming nothing mor than a blur as he ran as fast as he could down the hallway. Sasuke was trying to keep up as his teammate neared a metal door at the end of the bloody hallway. As Ena neared, he reared his fist back Boosted gear manifesting around it, the Omnitrix moving up near his elbow. The Jinchuriki let his fist fly and when it was inches away.

[Boost!]

In the split second between Ena's throwing his fist and it hitting the door he boosted his strength and switched from the boosted gear to the Nemean Cestus. His gauntleted fist hit with the force of a freight train, the metal door crumpled around the gauntlet and was blasted off its hinges and embedded itself into a far-off wall. Ena winced in pain he had felt a few of the bones in his arm break and most of his forearm was covered in bruises that strength requirement was no joke. Ena dashed into the room and took in the situation, he was inside an ornate office of some kind it was quite large but not big enough to safely use Masamune, there were numerous expensive looking paintings along the walls with a medium sized desk near the back of the room. The genin didn't pay much attention to any of this what caught his attention was the quartet in the room.

He recognised Kazura and Makimachi instantly, both were seriously injured, Kazura had numerous deep uneven cuts in her skin and one of her eyes seemed to have been cut out, her makeup was a mess and tear streamed down her face he could practically taste her fear, her body guard wasn't doing much better she was pinned to the ground by a large metal spear in her stomach, the woman was trying to get said spear out but wasn't having much success considering she only had one hand. Looking away from the two injured women Ena and Sasuke focused on the two other people in the room. The first man was tall and fair skinned with slicked back grey hair and piercing purple eyes filled with madness he was wearing a black cloak with large red clouds that was slightly open showing off a Yugakure headband with a slash in the middle along with a Jashin amulet. His bottoms consisted of grey pants with matching shinobi sandals, he also had green nail polish and an orange ring with the kanji for three on it. The man was currently Holding Kazura up by the throat while holding a very odd weapon in his right hand, it was a red and white triple bladed scythe with large serrated blades that was absolutely drenched in blood similar to the madman, the odd thing about the weapon was the fact it had numerous intricately carved words and symbols that Ena couldn't recognising. Ena continued to take in his appearance when his eyes widened in realization and a quick use of [Observation] confirmed his suspicions

Ena felt himself begin to sweat. This was bad this was really fucking bad Hidan the immortal Madman. This wasn't someone he and Sasuke could fight, this monster had killed hundreds of thousands of people in the past two years alone all in the name of his god Jashin. There was also the issue of the zealot's partner. He also recognised him. A slashed through Takigaure forehead protector, the red and green pupilless eyes. He had seen the mans face in a bingo book before.

Fuck, fuck, fuck! Hidan was bad enough but fucking Kakuzu one of the oldest living shinobi and one of the very few people that fought Hashirama Senju the god of shinobi and lived! Ena and Sasuke didn't stand a chance in hell of beating one of them let alone both. The two S-Rank shinobi finally noticed the two genin's presence looking there way an annoyed frown appeared on Hidan's face while Kakuzu's current thoughts were unclear due to the mask covering his face but he did raise a single eyebrow.

That was not a good start, Hidan suddenly and violently pulled his scythe out of Kazura's stomach making her scream in pain as blood splattered across the ground retrieving a retractable spear from his sleeve Hidan extended it and jammed it into the woman's stomach pinning her in the wall. Turning to face them fully a look of annoyance on his face he spoke "Who the fuck are you two?!" the genin looked at each other for a moment and Sasuke answered first "Were looking for information on Gato." The two missing-nin said nothing for a few moments. Kakuzu calmly walked towards the desk and picked up a set of folders throwing them towards Ena who caught them with ease. "that is all the information I found about her little operation, it has no information we need but it might have something for you now leave." Kakuzu told the youth's the ancient shinobi turning back around looking for something, Sasuke turned around to leave but Ena stood still for a moment then walked towards Makimachi and with a quick pull yanked the retractable sear out her stomach making her grit her teeth in pain this did not go unnoticed, Hidan turned to the genin a look of absolute fury on his face "Oy what the fuck do you think your doing you cocksucker!?" the immortal asked furious. Ena didn't spare the zealot a glance "I'm not going to let you torture these two just to appease your non-existent god." Ena knew what he was doing was stupid and suicidal but he wouldn't let these two suffer through whatever dark ritual Hidan had planned, he had seen enough suffering to last a lifetime despite his young age. Hidan began to growl like a wild animal while Kakuzu quietly chuckled this kid had some worth shame he was going to die in a few seconds.

Hidan suddenly lashed with his scythe throwing the triple bladed weapon through the air and Ena was able to narrowly dodge it the blades inches from his face. The scythe hit the wall digging in deeply but Hidan was able to reel it back in by the cable attached the handle with ease. "HOW DARE YOU INSULT LORD JASHIN YOU CUNT!" the zealot roared in fury when his partner spoke up "Try not to take too long Hidan we still have a job to do." Hidan didn't have time to reply when his head suddenly snapped forward a kunai sticking out from the back of his head Ena saw his HP go to 0 and almost instantly go right back up to full, looked like he really was immortal. Sasuke suddenly dashed forward leaping upwards and slamming his foot onto the hilt of the kunai sending the rest of it straight through the rest of Hidan's face and slamming the zealots head into the ground! Sasuke landed next to Ena who now held the evoker in his left hand and Tsukuyomi in the right, he couldn't use Amaterasu effectively with his arm still healing. Hidan's body began to rise up the hole in his face rapidly healing until there wasn't a mark left and the immortal smiled.

For a few moments the trio stared at each other for a few moments when Hidan did something unexpected, using Kazura's blood he made Jashin's symbol in the centre that mad grin still on his face. Suddenly he burst into movement vanishing from the two genin's view reappearing Infront of the duo Hidan had his scythe raised prepared to cut them down! Sasuke suddenly jumped forward with surprising speed and was able to catch the lower blade of Hidan's scythe with his kunai but the black blade visibly cracked, Ena knew he had seconds before the kunai snapped completely and Sasuke would get heavily injured. Ena placed the Evoker to the side of his head and with a pull of the trigger and the sound of shattering glass Orpheus manifested behind him the persona flew forward Infront of Hidan who looked up surprised at the creature the hovered before him, Orpheus pulled out his lyre and with surprising speed bashed it into Hidan's chest! Ena and Sasuke watched as the zealot stumbled back but quickly recovered, dashing forward he sent a slash towards Ena's chest but the jinchuriki was able to narrowly dodge!

The madman continued his relentless assault with Ena narrowly dodging or parrying most of them dodging another slash Ena's eyes widened when he felt the smallest blade cut his cheek lightly not deep enough for it to draw blood.

Holy shit! The hell kind of weapons Hidan was using that a shallow cut does that much damage it didn't look or feel natural, as Hidan swung the weapon past his eye he quickly casted [observe] on it.

Name: Claw of Jashin

Type: Bladed

Description: a unique triple bladed scythe made by Jashin himself to cause the most amount of pain and draw as much blood as possible, this weapon was gifted to his one and only champion in history the immortal Hidan. The weapon does 500,000 bladed damage and 50,000 cursed damage.

Ena grit his teeth "What's with this guy?! I can't get a single hit in! Then again even if I did it wouldn't matter Sasuke's been hitting this guy with so many kunai but I don't think he even noticed! We can't do this forever at some point my SP's going to run out even if it'll take a long ass time but Sasuke's doesn't have that amount of time and neither does wave! Think Ena how can you get him off your back to figure out a plan?" Sasuke was able to get a lucky shot and hit Hidan in the eye giving Ena enough time to make some room in the small area he had to work with but it the office was still large enough for what he needed.

Ena placed the Evoker back in his inventory and placed his hands in cross shaped seal and called out "[Multi shadow clone jutsu!]" Ena felt the chakra rapidly build up the leave his body and behind him three identical clones of the genin appeared each wielding their own Amaterasu. The clones dashed forward and began to attack Hidan in sync the man wasn't taking much damage but it left him distracted long enough for Ena to grab Sasuke and duck behind the desk. "We need a plan this guy's almost as strong as Kakashi and my clones ain't gonna last long." Ena started worry on his face the sound of one of his clones popping echoed around the room it had barley been a minute they needed a plan now. Sasuke sat there for a moment when the sound of Ena's two other clones popping and the sound of ponding footsteps the Uchiha's eyes widened in realisation and he tackled Ena to the ground just barley avoiding Hidan's scythe as it cleaved straight through the hard wooden desk like it was butter.

Ena looked confused at the notification then looked down and saw a single small bleeding cut on his arm, the genin's eyes widened in shock and his head snapped up to look at Hidan ho had a sadistic grin on his face. He dashed back towards the centre of the room standing in the circle he had made at the beginning of the fight, Hidan raised his scythe to his mouth and he gleefully licked a single small drop of blood and swallowed.

The change was instantaneous his skin turned pitch black and had white marking's making him look a bit like the grim reaper. There was a noticeable shift with Hidan an insane amount of pressure hit Ena and Sasuke almost bringing them to their knee's this shift meant one thing Ena decided to look at Hidan's stats to be certain.

Ena cursed beneath his breath how the hell was he gonna get himself and Sasuke out of this situation?

A/N: So after a very, very, very long time I finally updated this bloody story holy shit I honestly did not mean for this to take so long but it's on me the chapter this was an utter pain in the ass to write originally this was going to just be a simple infiltration but I decided against that considering I did about two chapters ago and that eventually transformed into the Akatsuki attacking hell fucking Itachi was going to appear at one point so I took a bit of a break to figure out what the fuck I was doing with this chapter and eventually decided on Hidan and Kakuzu appearing on a mission. From who and why will eb revealed next chapter by the way Hidan is a pian in the ass to write because not only is he immortal but he could theoretically win any fight in one blow.

In other news I got resident evil VII. as well as the persona dancing series and mass effect legendary edition all of which were very fun and good gameplay and plot. In other news E3 has recently come and gone with in my opinion a surprisingly low amount of announcement but there were a few interesting things that were either announced or got a new trailer such as Shin Megami Tensei V which had two separate trailers one for japan and one for everywhere else although the Japan one was far better and revealed bits and pieces of the plot in comparison to the other. Starfield also got a trailer and it has been confirmed as an XBOX exclusive which is really stupid honestly quite a few people were excited about the game and some of them were most PlayStation player's such as myself. I also watched the mortal Kombat movie which wasn't bad but wasn't fantastic I'm not going to spoil anything but Kano and Sub-zero were definitely the best part along with scorpion.

Now onto the important stuff a you know if you read the author notes of the last few chapters I was going to explain stuff about the game in a separate story but I have decided to explain all the important stuff here instead such as the difficulty of the game how the tiers works and what the reputation and affection meters work.

Difficulty

I have realised I didn't really explain how the difficulty actually affected Ena and the story as a whole but to put it simply. I call the difficulty supreme and everything is affected by it, it's why the stats are so massive characters are massively stronger than canon it's also why the wave arc as a whole is longer if Ena was playing on normal things would be the same as canon with just Gato, the demon brothers along with Zabuza and Haku there would be no lieutenants no persona nothing like that basically if this game was on normal it would be the exact same as canon Naruto with minor alterations.

Tier

Tiers are a bit different from most other gamer fics as one review pointed out that it was odd that the stats were so high when tiers were a thing so I'm going to explain what they do. If I were to give an example of how tiers work in my fanfiction think of it like awakenings in the ultimate ninja storm series, in order for a character to I suppose you could say go full power certain conditions have to be met such as with Hidan activating his cursed technique: Death controlling posse's blood or Kakashi utilising his Sharingan things to that effect so instead of it passively increasing stats it has to be activated instead simple right.

This is slightly more difficult to explain, reputation is the starting point of a character if Ena has just met someone or did them a favour, they get perhaps +1 reputation which if he continues will evolve into affection starting with a simple friendship at 1 affection and depending on how Ena interacts with them that friendship can either turn into a familial affection such as with Kakashi and Hiruzen or a more romantic affections such as Albedo.
