Volume 1: A New Story Begins! The Flame Swordsman, Saber!
(Wonder World)
The Wonder World, a fantasy world brimming with fairy tales and mythical creatures. Floating islands as far as the eye can see along with magical bubbles everywhere. In the middle of this magical world, we find a Pink house on the top of a mountain with trees around it.
Then it transitions to the inside of the house with a miniature version in a snow globe as it zooms the room out. Sitting in the middle of the room, it was a long green haired man in pink attire with a patterned jacket with a black mustache and a pink top hat. Oddly enough, he had a branch over his shoulder with a sunflower as a corsage.
This is Tassel, the resident of the Wonder World.
"Bonne lecture, my friends! My name is Tassel. This is a bit sudden, but books are quite the novel thing, aren't they?!" Tassel greeted the readers. He stood up from his chair as he showed his bookshelf. "Absolutely everything can be found in books, like unknown knowledge or experiences."
He sat down in his chair and opened a pop-up book on the table as he told his story. The book reveals a pop-up of the Wonder World.
"Once upon a time…This world we live in was created from an extraordinary book. That book is the source of myths, stories, living creatures, scientific techniques and more. As well as containing all of human history. It is known as the Almighty Book."
It transitions to the real Wonder World as it shows the Almighty Book. He turns the next page as it shows 9 shadow figures wielding swords as they were on an edge of a cliff. They stared at a building with a huge monument of a sword in a dark cloudy night as thunderstruck.
"Swordsmen, chosen by the Seiken, have been protecting the peace by protecting the Almighty Book. But one day, some bad people, who wanted to snatch it away appeared and the Omniscience Book split and scattered!"
He turns to the next page, showing the 4 swordsmen as they are coming for the Almighty Book with their leader's eyes glowing manically. The next page shows the Almighty Book shined, then exploded as the pages were everywhere. The pages transform into something else entirely, they become miniature books with a variety of colored covers and categorize them in stories.
They are now called the Wonder Ride Books.
Tassel turns the next page, showing a battleground of swordsmen battling out with flames and explosions as they're in war between the protectors and the destroyers.
"The battle between two sides has continued for countless years…and they fight even to this day."
Tassel closes the book then smiles at the readers before picking up another book from the table and showing it to them.
"Now, let's take a closer look at the story of the swordsmen and Valkyries featuring a certain young man."
Tassel opens the book as pages start to rapidly flip, transitioning to a new location.
(Tokyo, 2043)
Rain…
It pours down tears as it reflects one's emotions upon the world. Raining down hard could dampen the mood for everyone. Here we see the city was badly damaged, the streets were empty and cars crashed or broken. The buildings were either wrecked or destroyed. It's almost like a dead city in the making.
At a bus stop, six girls stand there waiting for the next bus. One of them didn't seem to care about being soaking wet while the five had bothered to carry an umbrella.
One of them is a 15 year old girl with shoulder length black hair with a white bow tied behind her head and real eyes. Next to her is a girl the same age as her, with short cream hair fastened with two red clips on either side of her head and dark orange eyes. The third is a 17 year old tall girl with blue hair and dark blue eyes. She has a side ponytail on the left side of her head that is longer than the rest of her hair, which falls just above her waist and cuts straight. The fourth is a 16 year old girl with brunette hair with the fringe combed to the left, her hair was held in a ponytail with a pink scrunchie and red brown eyes.
They wore a female school uniform, starting with a dark blue shirt with red lines down the sides with a white shirt inside and a red tie. A pair of cyan blue and dark gray short skirts matching the uniform. Black knee-high socks and brown shoes. But the cream hair girl wore a pair of crew-length black socks and white yellow shoes.
They are Miku Kohinata, Hibiki Tachibana, Tsubasa Kazanari and Aika Amou.
Next was a short girl with long lavender hair that fell to her knees, parted into two tails that further split into three curly locks each and an ahoge and purple eyes. Instead of some school uniforms that the rest of the girls wore, she wore a brown skin-tight one-piece with a black crew neck, short puffed sleeves and shorts, a translucent red-purple cutout that exposes part of the chest and upper back, long detached sleeves with black accents that go beyond her wrist, black lace trim the ends of the shorts, black stockings with burgundy suspenders attached to the dress and burgundy pumps, finally a red gem pendant around the neck.
This was Chris Yukine.
They're in grief, each of them had a very sad look on their faces. But one in front of them had it worse, devastated even though the rain poured on her. Her eyes were lifeless, nothing but dim as if her soul was ripped out from her body.
She's a 19 year old tall girl with long, soft red hair in the form of a feather that fell to her waist and red eyes, holding a bouquet of flowers. She wore a short-sleeved white shirt with exposed shoulders and a black tank top on the outside. Blue jeans that rolled up to the knee and with a red brown belt and red white sneakers.
She is Kanade Amou, Aika's older sister.
The bus arrives and it stops in front of them and without a word everyone gets inside as the bus leaves.
'With eight thousand cries, the lil' cuckoo's blood-red tongue, like a flame singing. The saying goes that the little bird keeps singing even as it coughs up blood. This saying would have applied to me and my friends were it not for him. He clearly saw that if we continued to sing, we would pay it with blood. He told us there are times when we also have to stop and take a break. Times that someone will make great strides to help a friend in need.'
The bus stops and everyone gets off as the bus leaves as the girls get on the steps leading up to where there is an entrance. Entering inside the place we see is a cemetery full of tons of tombstones, proving that many people have died for something, because the number of stones was surprising many, but the girls were not surprised. They walked on until they met what they were here for. On the gravestone the name was engraved on it, Yuuma Kamiya.
Laying on the tombstone was a picture of the said person. It showed a 21 year old man with black messy hair and dark brown eyes. He wore a black flat top hat with a red stripe and had a cheerful smile on his face. After seeing the photo, Kanade fell to her knees and threw the flowers on the floor as she shed tears.
"Kanade!" Tsubasa cried in concern.
"Onee-chan!" Aika cried, worried about her sister.
"W-Why…" Kanade said, sobbing in tears. "Why are you always so reckless?!"
The rest felt the same as Kanade, Hibiki cried while Miku hugged her in comfort as she was in tears too. Tsubasa looked away, trying to hold back her tears but couldn't with some leaking from her eyes. Chris cried in anger while wiping the tears off her face. Aika cried like the rest, he saved her and Kanade back then and she thanked him for that.
He helped them in their time of need, it's what friends do. But for Kanade, he's more than a friend to her.
"I wanted to see you...I want to reach you...but I can't...I hate this...I miss you...Yuuma…" Kanade cried before she shouts to the sky. "YUUMA!"
You can tell that these girls lost someone important to them, especially Kanade. The question is how did it happen? What led to this? Well, let's go back to where before any of this happened. To hear the Valkyries song, singing the story of the swordsman who determines the story's ending. This is the story of the Flame swordsman, Saber, and how the Valkyries sang his song of how he saved the world and wrote it's ending.
(15 years ago: 2028 – The War of the Wonder World)
At the Tokyo town square, it has been connected to the Wonder World as the people are running away from something while the futuristic building was peeling off like pages and being burnt too. Monsters were chasing after them, they consisted of black bodysuits with white lines and wore a ragged cloak. They wore metallic helmets with slits and short swords.
These are Shimi, the grunts of the Monsters known as the Megiddo, monsters of the manuscripts.
In the midst of the battle, a black haired 6-year-old boy was witnessing the atrocity occurring before him.
In the middle of the battlefield, he saw a person wearing a purple suit with black parts going on his arms and legs with gold trimmings along with a waist cape covering his right leg. He has a silver chest guard with a gold jagged edge along with a silver guard for his left shoulder. His right shoulder, however, has a molded guard in the shape of a dragon's head done in black with a mask done in silver with three red slits. He wore a helmet that is black with the top part being purple whilst the front part is silver with three red slits and black trimming on the right side of the silver mask piece. Sticking out of the purple-clad person's helmet is a spiky gold horn blade. The purple clad person is wearing a black belt that is holding something in the buckle, but the small boy is too far away to see properly. The man has a sword with a spiky gold blade along with a purple hilt.
This is Kamen Rider Calibur, the Dark Swordsman.
Then he saw three monsters that are different from the Shimi. The first one was a beast-like with two horns on its head and red eyes, its body is white with blue flame-like markings and had a blue sash with gold trimming on its waist. It had golden claws along its left hip, collar and its right shoulder. On its forearms, it had gold pads.
The second monster is demon-like in dark red druid armor with gold accents with spikes along with a red cloak on its waist, holding a. From its body, it has green and red vine-like veins and its face is white with green eyes that have blue markings on its right and red on its left. It had thorn-like horns sprouting out of its head with three rings, one on the right while the two on the left. On the top of its head is some type of crown with a mark that represents the Megiddo.
The third one was Draconic with brown and white armor with gold tribal markings along with red accents and had a red book in the center of the armor. Dragon-like scales on its biceps while the shoulder armor had fanned blades with one bigger than the other and had large teeth around the collar. Its head is white with bladed horns coming out of its sides with two large gold horns on the top of its head and red and gold spikes. Its eyes are red, looked really angry and had a Megiddo mark on its forehead. Finally, he had a red sword that had a grey jagged edge with gold markings and a red gem embedded in it.
These are the 3 leaders of the Megiddo, Zooous, Storious and Legeiel.
Then A little girl in a white dress was about to be sucked into a blank book. The boy grabbed her hand and tried to pull her away but struggled to do so. The force was too great for the boy as their hold was diminishing up to their pinkies remaining to hold them in.
"Ahhh!" The girl screamed for dear life, but their pinkie hold couldn't take it before it broke and the girl was sucked into the book. "YUUMA!"
The book closes and disappears much to now named Yuuma's shock, he was devastated that he couldn't save her. He noticed a black-haired man wearing a purple coat, grey robe-like shirt, leather belt and brown pants. He was hurt in the battle as he kneeled with his sword in the ground.
"Hope lies beyond any resolve!" He shouted; he lifted his sword up as it glowed brightly red before stabbing it back into the ground. "Gyaaaahhhhhh!"
KA-BOOM!
It causes a fiery explosion which engulfed the entire area resulting in the Shimi being destroyed in the process. But not only that, the explosion restored the building back to the way it was, Yuuma was caught in the explosion before he passed out.
When he came to, he noticed he was all alone and saw the people walking happily like nothing happened. He sat up before notices something in his hand, it was a Wonder Ride Book that had a red cover and black pages with the cover showing a red dragon in a fiery background with the title: Brave Dragon.
"What's this?" Young Yuuma wondered.
Before he got deep into it, he saw someone walking up to him. A young woman in her 20s with long black hair wearing a white blouse and black pencil skirt. She looks at him curiously before speaking to him.
"Hey there, young boy. What are you doing sitting there?" She asked him.
"I..." Yuuma doesn't know what to say, what happened earlier still confuses him. "…I don't know."
"You don't know?" She repeated.
"I-I can't remember." He said, much to her surprise.
'He can't remember; did he have amnesia?' She thought before kneeling down to his level. "What about your name?"
"…"
Yuuma couldn't remember anything other than what occurred earlier, but he couldn't tell if it was real or not. All he can remember was his name.
"Yuuma. Yuuma Kamiya."
(10 Years later: Flower - 2nd floor, 2038)
Yuuma opened his eyes, waking up in his bedroom at Flower, an Okonomiyaki restaurant. The first floor is for the restaurant while the second floor is for housing. His bedroom was normal, but what's out of the ordinary is stacks of books and papers on his desk with the board filled with post-its and sketches.
He gets up from his bed as he rubs off the sleepiness in his eyes.
"That dream again." Yuuma muttered, he rested his chin on his hands and got in deep thought about it. "Why do I keep dreaming that day to begin with?"
He turned to his nightstand that lies the Brave Dragon Wonder Ride Book. He had the book ever since he could remember and don't know how he got it. All he knows is that it somehow connects to his missing past and that incident. He picks up the book and opens it revealing a picture of a dragon spewing fire with a language that he has never seen before. He looks into every language in books and the internet but no luck.
He closes the book and gets out of bed.
"But I feel like I'm forgetting something important." He said before looking back at the book and putting it in his pocket. "Something I need to do."

(Showing Yuuma opening his sign book from close to open for his bookstore. Then changes to the bookshelf as it pans in and out. A book was open as the pages were flipping and someone pulled a book from the bookshelf, revealing the book titled Wonder Story. In a dark room, someone was adjusting on a circuit-like keyboard as a screen showed the volume going up and down. Yuuma was in front of his bookstore with a smile on his face while bubbles were blown in the air. The Wonder Story book opens revealing a pop-up of Yuma and his bookstore.)

(Transition into the book where Yuuma stretches his arms as the camera zooms out, revealing that he's in the Wonder World.)

(Yuuma is in his bookstore, reveals the store with books, a hammock, posters of Zwei Wing and Kanade along a scale model of Tokyo with a drawbridge, mountains and a volcano as they surround a lake. He was writing a story on his desk before noticing Hibiki and Miku coming through as he greets them with a smile and tipping his hat.)

'It's a love that asks nothing in return'
(Tetsuya was in a room full of books with an open book in his hands as he smiled at the camera. Then Kanade was having lunch with Tsubasa and Aika as they talked before Kanade said something that embarrassed Tsubasa. The latter blushed and looked away from Kanade while she laughed as Aika sighs at her antics.)

'Hidden in the depths, that kindness will fade'
(Yuuma opens the Brave Dragon Wonder Ride Book, showing the story page. The Wonder Story was opened as it shows a pop-up of Yuuma with Kanade, Tsubasa, Aika, Hibiki and Miku walking through the city as Tetsuya follows behind them.)

(The pages turned as another pop-up revealed the Wonder World. Then transition to the young Yuuma reading the Wonder Story book alongside the young Akira and a girl as they sat by the tree before showing Yuuma pinky promise with the girl.)

Faces covered beneath the mask'
(At the Sword of Logos Northern Base, Sophia was on the second floor looking at the bookshelf before turning to the camera and smiling. Changes to the Section Two base with Sakuya and Aoi by the Monitors while Genjuro, Ryoko and Shiji stood by each other. Fine was in front of her mansion with an army of Noises while Chris looked away with a frown. Then changes to where Storious, Legeiel and Zooous are with books in their hands as they grin menacingly.)

'Streaming with invisible tears'
(Calibur appears as he had an army of Shimi behind him and swung his sword, sending a dark energy slash to the camera. Changes to Yuuma where he stood with buildings were burnt and peeling with pages as flames surrounded him. He had the Seiken Swordriver on his waist with the Brave Dragon book inserted in as a giant version of the book dropped behind him.)
ALMIGHTY!
(Yuuma grabs Rekka and draws it as the book opens to the Rider page. He swung Rekka in an X as the Brave Dragon came out of the book before the flaming X and the dragon merged with him, transforming to Saber.)

'Authored in this fairy tale'
(Saber was transported to the Wonder World as he fights the Shimi and the Noise, he slashes them with Rekka in flames. Kanade appears in Gungnir armor as she fights them before changing to Hibiki fighting in her place.)
{Chie to yuuki wo tsukande}
'A place to learn to be wise and brave awaits'
(Next page, Blades fights them as well using Nagare and slash then stabs them with water attacks. Tsubasa fought as well in Ame no Habakiri armor as she sliced and diced them. The page after that, Espada fought with Ikazuchi, conducting lightning and striking them with it. Chris comes in her Ichival armor as she shoots them with a pair of guns in hand. The pages flipped to where we see Tassel in his house as he dances around with his hands up and a smile on his face.)

(Saber swings Rekka before getting into combat in a fiery aura as giant Wonder Ride Books emerge from the ground.)

Book 1: A New Story Begins! The Flame Swordsman, Saber!
(Flower – 1st floor)
Yuuma came downstairs after he washes up and in a change of clothes. His hair was now spiky and wears a red dress shirt and black pants along with a black flat top hat. He went to the kitchen when he saw the woman he met back then. She wore an orange dress shirt, grey jeans and a yellow apron with green edges. She tied her hair in a low ponytail that hangs over her shoulder. She may look young but she's older than she looks and her body has become gorgeous over the years. Her hips and chest have grown so much that anyone could consider her age to be in her mid-20s.
Her name is Kokomi Sasaki, Yuuma's adoptive mother.
"Morning, Yuuma." Kokomi greeted him as she cooked their breakfast.
"Morning, Kaa-chan." He greeted back; he went to the fridge to grab a carton of apple juice then sat down at the dining table before taking a glance at Kokomi cooking.
Kokomi took him in 10 years ago. She tried to find his parents but with his amnesia, it was difficult to do just that. She couldn't leave the boy alone with nowhere else to go, that's when she decided to take him in and raise him like her son.
He glances at the TV as the news is reporting the boring stuff going on. The only good thing coming out of watching the news is that News Lady, her bombshell looks made watching this worth it.
"And on the weather, it looks like it's going to remain sunny for a week. Now for the main story…" The News Lady reports.
She showed an image of strange glowing alien-like creatures in all shapes and sizes. The next image shows the creatures destroying buildings and walls before showing them touching people as they become carbon before dissolving.
"Noise, these alien creatures have been a threat to Humanity for 11 years."
"Man, the Noise isn't slowing down." Yuuma said, he poured a cup of apple juice and took a sip. "Wonder what the government is gonna do about it?"
"I'm sure they will come up with something, dear." Kokomi said she bought breakfast consisting of eggs and bacon. "Eat up, we're gonna have a busy day ahead of us."
"Hai." He said as they ate their breakfast and started their day.
(Time Skip)
As they finish breakfast, they clean up before the shop opens at 10am. Yuuma cleaned the seats, floors, tables and counter while Kokomi started prepping for the day. Yuuma hangs the sign as they are open for business. It started off with 5-10 customers, Yuma took orders while his mother cooks the orders. Easy work if he says so himself but when lunch rush came in, it was flooding.
Customers are coming in, filling up the seats as Yuuma takes their orders left and right. Busy times like this is when Yuma steps in and helps his mom with the orders. He and Kokomi are having a good time despite how busy it is but they don't mind. When Yuuma started helping a while back, he was her and the customers were smiling through the Okonomiyaki she put in hard to make. Seeing them happy made him happy as well, the enjoyable environment like this makes him want to do the same thing like his mom someday.
"Whew, another day and another lunch rush." Yuuma sighs in relief.
He got started on the cleaning before the dinner hour came while Kokomi started prepping again. When he finishes cleaning, he grabs his bag and wallet and heads out.
"Kaa-chan, I'm going out for lunch!" Yuuma said as he made it to the door.
"Kay, be sure you'll be back for the dinner rush." Kokomi said, seeing her son off.
"Hai. I promise."
He sprinted out from the door and headed off to a nearby bakery for some croquette sandwiches. Then go to a bookstore to buy some books and manga.
It's odd, ever since he was a kid, he has been fascinated by books whether be a children's book, novels, light novels or manga. He loves them so much that he started making up stories and writing them out for his mom to see. When she read his stories, she was surprised by how good it was that it made him smile. It inspires him to become a novelist so he can write stories that can make everyone smile just like she did.
As he was on his way to his destination, something bad occurred…
BOOM!
"What the?!" Yuuma shouted, jumped by the sudden explosion.
"AAAHHHHHH!"
He turned to see people running away as they were chased by the Noise he heard from the news. They were in panic and fear from the destruction the Noise caused, some were not so lucky as the Noise got to them before turning to carbon dust. This reminded him of what happened 10 years ago, where the monsters rampaged and the little girl he couldn't save.
Remembering that day made him scared, because he couldn't do anything to save them like before.
"KYAAAAAHHHH!"
Yuuma turned to see a little girl crying alone among the piles of the carbon dust and saw a Noise coming at her. When he saw her, his body acted quickly and managed to grab the girl before the Noise touched her. Yuma lifts the girl into his arms and starts running away from them as fast as he could, but a group of Noise appears in front of them before it completely surrounds him and the girl. Yuma felt the girl tremble in terror and in tears of no hope for survival.
"Okaa-san…Otou-san…" The girl cried for her life.
Yuuma held her close as his life flashes before his eyes, he remembers Kokomi took him in and raised him like it was yesterday. He remembers her helping him when he needed most, feeding him and caring for him; he'll never forget what she did for him. He promised her that he'll make it back home, he couldn't bear to break that promise and her heart if he died here. He'll keep his promise and make it out alive and that's what he's gonna do.
"Don't give up!" Yuuma exclaimed. The girl stopped her crying as she looked at him. "We'll make it out of here alive and reunite with your parents! I'll protect you when we do, I promise!"
SHINE!
Just as the Noise got closer to Yuuma and the girl, the Brave Dragon Wonder Ride Book shined red as it glowed brighter and brighter that caused a shockwave. It sends the Noise away from them as it dissipates some of them. Yuuma saw that his pocket was shining bright red and took out the Wonder Ride Book he's been carrying.
"This book…protected us…" He muttered, he put the girl down and opened the book as a voice was heard for everyone to hear.
[There was once a God Beast possessing a great power that would destroy everything…]
BOOM!
The book shined again as it gathered fire before shooting it up in the sky and into the clouds. The clouds became a fiery vortex that began to form the dragon from the front cover. The dragon roared that could shake the entire world itself as it flew down in front of Yuuma. This caused Yuuma and the girl to take cover while the Noise was thrown back due to the shockwave the dragon caused as more Noise dissipated by the flames.
"Guh!"
Yuuma finds that he and the girl are fine and not burned at all, which confuses him before looking back. As he saw fire burning around him, he saw a sword in the middle of it made of red fiery flames.
(Cue Kamen Rider Saber BGM I will decide the ending of the story)
"A sword?" Yuuma muttered, seeing that sword reminded him of the swordsman who saved him 10 years ago and still remembers those words he spoke that day.
"Hope lies beyond any resolve!"
It gave him hope, it gave him the resolve to be like that swordsman to protect others and give them hope like he did. Yuuma sets his sights on the red flaming sword, he steps forward and reaches out for the sword with his right hand. But the flames were too hot and Yuuma's hand was getting burned by them.
"Ow! Hot!"
"Onii-chan don't! You'll get burned!" The girl cried, freaking out for his safety.
Yuuma felt like his hand was reaching out to the sun, but despite that he powers through the fiery terrain as he was getting closer to the sword. Once he makes it, he grabs the sword's grip and screams in pain as it burns in his hand.
"Guh…guh...graaaAAAAAHHHHHH!"
Yuuma roared as he tried to pull the sword with all of his might, eventually he managed to pull the sword out as he raised it high in the air. Red energy was bursting out of the ground as pages were seen flipping rapidly in front of Yuuma, revealing an image of a knight copying his actions before fading away. The flames began to gather around the sword as it began changing and materialized in Yuuma's hands, showing the swords new form.
In his hands was a black scabbard buckle that had three slots and gold stripes with the unknown language on each of them. The sword now has a black and silver grip with the remaining flames gathered as it became a flame shaped hilt that had a gold X crest in a flame design.
[SEIKEN SWORDRIVER!]
Yuuma was stunned by this development as he stared at his new driver in awe. He doesn't know why but for some reason, he knows how to use it.
"This is the power I've been granted with…The power I can use to protect everyone…My sword!" Yuuma said he then places the driver around his waist as flames wrap around him in the form of a red belt with a holster on each side, the Hissatsu holder.
"Noise, I'll destroy you all because I'll be the one to determine how this story ends!"
He raises his Wonder Ride Book and opens it again.
[BRAVE DRAGON!]
He closes the book and inserts it into the right slot of the Swordriver, the Wonder Ride Book made red pages flipping rapidly in front of Yuuma.
Yuuma was in a pocket dimension filled with many bookshelves everywhere, standing on a podium with flames around him as fiery music played out from his belt. Then a giant version of the Brave Dragon book drops down behind him as he grips into the sword and draws it out, doing that opens the book and reveals an armored warrior with its arm raising up.
[REKKA BATTOU!]
His sword was out as its blade bathed in flames, the giant Wonder Ride Book opened up as well with the red dragon coming out from it. It roared and flew around Yuma as he held his sword with both hands in a hanging right sword style.
"Henshin!" Yuuma shouted, he swung the sword as it made a flaming X and flew forward.
[BRAVE DRAGON!]
The dragon was now in flames and flew into Yuuma as it merged with him. He was in flames before it dissipated and what was in Yuuma's place was the armored warrior like in the book.
Yuuma was now in a black armor suit with white in the middle all the way to his feet with red linings. His right arm was red with armor in a flame design, the dragon's head on its shoulder showing its yellow eyes. He wore a black and red waist cape covering his right leg. His helmet is blank as the flaming X flies to his face, turning it into a mask with a yellow visor silver lining in the form of an X. The visor's edges are red with the right side having a sharp red spike while the left side has a flame design. The mouthpiece was smooth and split with red on the right, black on the left and white on the forehead. He had a blade-like horn sticking out of his mask that resembles his sword.
Yuuma has now become the Flame Swordsman, Kamen Rider Saber.
[REKKA ISSATSU: When the Brave Dragon and Kaenken Rekka unite, the crimson blade shall pierce through all that is evil!]
Saber raises his flaming sword up and swings it before placing it on his left forearm and slowly rubs it. Then he swung it across both sides before holding it up to his left as a red book flipping its pages behind him. His sword was burning bright red as the flat edge shines red as well.
[KAENKEN REKKA!]
"Kaenken Rekka?" Saber said before he lay it with his other hand. "Nice to meet ya!"
"Onii-chan, you look so cool!" The girl exclaimed in amazement, seeing a real-life superhero is once in a lifetime for her.
"Get to safety, 'kay?" Saber said, the girl nodded and took cover behind the building.
Saber sets his sight on the Noise as he holds Rekka in front of his mask then swings it to his side. Rekka shines red as it ignites fire as he charges at a Noise and cuts it in half before disintegrating into carbon dust, killing the Noise easily. He starts rapidly slashing the Noise around him before he notices that some maggot shaped Noise was charging at him with the speed of a bullet. Saber grips Rekka as it ignites more fire as he sends a fiery slash at them. He then saw two Noises coming at them from the front and back as he spun around with Rekka and cut down both of the Noises.
"I can cut them down easily." Saber said he sidesteps the Noise's charge and cuts it in half then stabs a cube shaped Noise as it bursts in flames. "If the government were able to create something like this, they would be able to fight off the Noise no problem at all."
Saber turns and jumps, kicks the Noise before sending a fire slash at it, then he notices that the remaining Noise are gathering around him and are about to crush him. He jumps up high in the air as he taps the Brave Dragon page.
[BRAVE DRAGON!]
"Dragon Wonder Blast!"
Saber swaps Rekka to his left hand as fire swirls around his right and makes a fist, making a ball of fire. He throws a punch as it sends the fireball at the Noise resulting in an explosion that destroys most of them. He landed on the ground safely but felt a ground pounding as he turned around and saw a Noise that's bigger than the ones he saw with claw-like appendages.
"Oh come on! That isn't right!" He exclaimed.
The giant Noise roared as it and the surviving Noise charged at him, he dodged the Maggot Noise before cutting it down and began to cut down the Noise in front of him. He rushes in as he gathers fire around Rekka and slashes at big Noise with enough momentum to send it back to the remaining Noise as it explodes with them in it.
The giant Noise reeled its claw and threw a punch at Saber, he jumped up to avoid it and landed on its claw before running towards it. The Noise tried to squash him with its other claw but he stepped back before it hit him resulting in the Noise winced in pain. Saber then jumped, using its arm as a springboard and reached close to its head and then slashed it. As the Noise staggered in pain, Saber landed at a distance from the giant Noise and looked at the Noise.
"It's time to determine how this story ends!" Saber shouted as he put Rekka back into the driver before pressing the trigger, initiating the finisher.
[HISSATSU DOKUHA!]
He draws Rekka again as he twirls Rekka around as it gathers flames then holds it up with two hands and steadies it for the finisher.
[REKKA BATTOU! DRAGON! HISSATSU GIRI! FIRE!]
"Dragon Blazing Slash!"
Saber runs in and makes a big leap towards the Noise as the dragon appears flying next to him. He jumps on the dragon and rides it as he slashes the giant Noise. He turns around and slashes it once again gaining more speed. He was getting faster and faster that the girl watching him only saw a fiery blur attacking the Noise. Saber jumps off the dragon and lands safely with the giant Noise behind him sustaining multiple cuts from him before falling backwards as it begins to explode.
BOOM!
(End Kamen Rider Saber OST)
"Yosh!" Saber said, satisfied that the Noise threat is taken care of for now. He then walks over to the girl, who was gaping at him, as he squats down to her eye level. "You alright?"
"A-Ano…" The girl sputtered, she can't put into words how awesome he defeated the Noise before hugging him. "Thank you for saving me, Onii-chan!"
"Hehehe." Saber laughed, seeing that she was in good spirits despite what happened. She looks up at him with curiosity in her eyes.
"Are you a superhero?! Like the ones on TV?!" She exclaimed, excitedly.
"I'm just a swordsman who wants to protect the people, that's all." He said he stood up and looked around for any survivors. "Where's your parents?"
"We got separated when the monster came. We came to visit some relatives of ours." The girl tells him.
"Then let's go to the police station. I'm sure your parents will find you there." He suggested, she nodded as he was about to take her there.
Until…
BOOM!
He heard an explosion not far from here, curious of what happened he decided to check it out.
"Now what?!" Saber shouted before turning to the girl. "Stay here while you check that out, okay."
The girl nodded as he ran off towards the source of the explosion, he had a bad feeling about it as he tapped his Wonder Ride Book and summoned the dragon and rode on top of it. He hopes that he'll make it in time.
(Mt. Minakami – Excavation Site)
At the excavation site near the ancient ruins, Noises were there killing fleeing operators and miners while the rest were gathering at the entrance.
Inside, those in the ruins were trying to defend themselves from the Noise, who were trying to break through the barricade while some tried to attack them. But all for naught as they end up dissolving into carbon while the rest are trying to stay away from them until the government soldiers arrive. Among the researchers and miners, 14 year old Kanade and 11 year old Aika were there with their parents to comfort them from the Noise.
Their father's a tall man with short red hair similar to Kanade with red eyes. It had a certification tag hung on its neck. He wore a white jacket with blue decoration and a black T-shirt. A pair of brown pants and white gymnastics shoes.
Their mother had long hazel brown hair and dark yellow eyes. She too has a certification plate hanging on her neck and was wearing an identical jacket of the man only with red decorations and a green shirt. A pair of brown trousers and brown boots.
Their parents are researchers of the ancient ruins, they're here to investigate the ruins but that changed when the explosion occurred and the Noise started to appear afterwards. Now, they're stuck at the end of the ruins while the rest are trying to hold back the Noise. But the Noise managed to break through the barricade as they started their killing spree as the rest followed.
"Kanade! Aika! Get behind us!" The father shouted, he gets in front of his daughters and tries to shield them from the Noise.
"Get away from here and hide somewhere safe!" Kanade's mother tells them as she stands next to her husband.
"No way! We're not leaving without you!" Kanade exclaimed, she did not want her parents to sacrifice themselves just to save her and Aika.
As the Noise were coming closer to where Kanade and her parents were, one of them accidentally swallowed a bomb that was embedded in the wall that was to make a tunnel. This caused the bomb to activate and thus explode itself in the process. As that wasn't enough, the explosion causes the cave to collapse in on itself.
BOOM!
"Kyaaaa!" Kanade and Aika screams, terrified as the debris from the roof was about to bury her alive.
"Kanade! Aika!" Their parents shouted, they ran towards their daughters and shielded them from the cave collapse.
Dust kicks in the air as it dissipates, revealing the ruins were more badly damaged than before with the entrance still intact. Fortunately, Kanade and Aika managed to survive the cave collapse as she sat up.
"Cough! Cough!" Kanade coughs from the dust in the air before she turns to Aika. "Are you okay, Aika?"
"I'm fine, Onee-chan." Aika nodded.
"Okay good." Kanade smiled as she turned to her parents. "Kaa-san! Tou-sa-!"
She froze when she saw them as she remembers that the Noise are still alive after the explosion. To her and Aika's horror, the people were still trying to fight back the Noise with the remaining barricades but ended up died in vain. But the worst of all is that they saw their parents stabbed by the Noise right in front of them. Their parents glance at their daughters for the last time until they're completely disintegrated.
Kanade and Aika were traumatized in fear as the Noise approached her. Their eyes dwell in tears and couldn't even move, thinking that it's hopeless to escape as their end is coming. They closed their eyes for their incoming death.
[BRAVE DRAGON!]
"Dragon Wonder Blast!"
BOOM!
Then suddenly, the Noise were caught in fire before they exploded into ash, saving them from intimate death.
"Wha?" Kanade was surprised along with Aika as they began to see their savior in person.
What they saw was Saber, who was glad that he managed to save them in the nick of time. They heard footsteps as Saber turned to see more Noise entering the cave.
"Tch! There's no end to them." Saber said as he rushed at the incoming Noise, leaving Kanade and Aika alone while he took care of the Noise.
Kanade was thankful, she and Aika were still alive thanks to him. She has never seen a man in strange armor before but she knows that regular weapons don't work on the Noise. But that all changes when Saber inserts Rekka into the Hissatsu holder and presses the trigger.
[REKKA IAI!]
He immediately draws Rekka as it ignites in fire and points it at the Noise in front of him.
[DOKUGO ISSEN!]
"Blazing Bomber!"
He stabs it as it was going up in flames, then he pushes it with a slash as it crashes into the rest. The Noise under the effect of Saber's attack made contact with the other and went up in flames as it spread to another and another. They started to explode to ash simultaneously up to the last remaining Noise destroyed.
"Phew." Saber sighs in relief. He turns around and approaches Kanade, who was amazed at how he beat the Noise easily. "You two okay?"
Kanade and Aika nod before the former looks down at their parent's pile of remains as she grits her teeth in anger, Aika notices her sister's frustration and holds her sister in comfort. Saber saw this before noticing the piles next to them and looks down in shame. Realizing the cause of their distraught, he blamed himself that he couldn't get here in time. If only he finishes off the Noise outside sooner, then their parents and the people could've been saved.
"I'm sorry." He apologizes.
"Huh?" Kanade said. Her anger changed to confusion by his sudden apology while Aika looked at him in confusion.
"Sorry that I didn't arrive in time to save them all." Saber said, looking at Kanade and Aika, feeling guilty about it.
Kanade looks at Saber with mixed emotions, she doesn't know whether to be angry or sad that her parents are gone from her life. He knows how Kanade felt, he felt the same way for the past 10 years. When he couldn't save that girl, he had to live with that burden along with those that didn't make it today. He kneels down and wraps his arms around Kanade and Aika, embracing them in a hug. It's the only thing he could think of to show her how sorry and regretful he is about it.
Kanade was surprised by this development, his warm embrace was beginning to comfort her as tears appeared in the corner of her eyes. This familiar sensation reminds her of her parent's hug whenever she needed comfort. She couldn't hold back her emotion any longer as she hugged Saber back and started to cry.
"WAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!"
She cried hard for the loss of her parents while Saber was silent and took it in until she got it out of her system. Aika was a little worried about about Saber blaming himself for not saving the rest and hugs him back, much to his surprise.
"Thank you for saving us." Aika said to him.
When he heard that, tears were coming beneath his mask but doesn't show it. Aika's kind words made him feel a bit better as Kanade's crying was about to stop. Once she did, Saber led them out of the cave only to see the destruction that the Noise caused and all the piles of carbon on the ground. He clenches his fist upon the many deaths that occurred today.
'If only I made it in time, I could've saved them all.' He glances at Rekka before gripping it tight. 'What's the point of this power if I can't save everyone!'
WEE-WOO! WEE-WOO! WEE-WOO!
They heard sirens nearby and saw from the distance a police car approaching the excavation site. Saber wanted to come with her but he had a promise to keep with the little girl from earlier. And besides, if the government knows about the powers he's given, they would've taken it away from him. Even though they only want to get rid of the Noise, there are others who want the power for their own purposes. He wouldn't let them, he's been given this power for a reason and he'll use it to fight off the Noise and protect everyone.
He found his resolve and began to walk away before the authorities got here. Kanade and Aika notices his sudden leave as Kanade calls out to him.
"Where are you going?" Kanade asked.
"Away from here, I can't trust the authorities just yet." He answers as he glances at the girls before turning back. "I have a promise to keep."
"Then what are you going to do now?" She asked again.
"I'll fight the Noise if they show up again and help the people as much as I can, so something like this won't happen again." Saber said he noticed that the police car was getting closer and not only that, there were other cars following up behind him which he guessed was the military. "I have to get going, we'll meet again someday, somewhere."
"Wait!"
[BRAVE DRAGON!]
"Dragon Wonder." He said as he summons the dragon from his book and gets on it.
Saber then flies away in the sky as Kanade watches from afar along with government officials, who try to stop him from leaving, while the police take Kanade and Aika into custody where the other survivors were. Kanade looked at the sky where Saber flew off to as she was escorted into the police car.
'Thank you…'
(Later that day)
Yuuma went back to get the little girl and walked with her while holding her hand so she wouldn't get lost. As they did that, a police officer notices them and escorts them to a safe area where the survivors are. When they did, the girl found her parents among the survivors as she let go of Yuma's hand and rans towards them.
"Okaa-san! Otou-san!" She cried out to her parents as they noticed their baby girl.
"Mira!" They cried as the girl now named Mira tackles them into a hug.
"We're glad that you're safe! Are you hurt anywhere at all?!" Her mom asked.
"Nu-huh." Mira shook her head before turning to Yuuma. "Onii-chan saved me!"
Her parents look to see Yuuma approaching them.
"Thank you for saving our daughter, we couldn't bear losing our daughter." Mira's mother thanked him.
"Yes, we can't thank you enough." Mira's father said.
"Don't worry about it, I'm glad that this adorable girl is safe and sound." Yuuma said as he squats down and patted Mira on the head, making her giggle. "Take care of yourself and look out for your parents, okay?"
"Hmm!" Mira nods cheerfully.
Yuuma stood up and waved goodbye to Mira and her parents as he was on his way back home to Flower. He notices Kanade and Aika among the crowd being escorted with government officials instead of having led to the safety shelter with the other civilians.
'Why do the government officials want them for? Could it be that her relatives were among the excavation team?' Yuuma thought deep into what he saw, but it doesn't matter for now.
What matters is that he couldn't save everyone else besides Mira and Kanade, he was glad that they're safe but the rest died due to his lack of combat. He needs to improve in order to fend off the Noise, to utilize the power of the Wonder Ride Book and Kaenken Rekka to their fullest. He brought out the Brave Dragon book and Kaenken Rekka as he stared at them with determination.
"I have to get stronger for their sake." Yuuma said before resuming his way home. Unknown to him, the book and Kaenken Rekka glowed a little bit.
(Wonder World)
Back at the Wonder World, Tassel was outside of his house enjoying the view with an umbrella over his head as he narrates the story to the readers.
"Oh my, the world is being threatened by the Noise and causing quite a devastation. How terrifying they are!" Tassel exclaimed, freaking out of the Noise capable of then smiling. "Fortunately, Yuuma, who was caught up in the attack, transforms into Kamen Rider Saber and destroys the Noise from doing any more harm and saves three girls."
Tassel comes closer to the readers.
"That is what they call fate. And unknown to Yuuma, one of the girls he saved, their fate will intertwine and see each other very soon."
The screen closes as it reveals the Brave Dragon Wonder Ride Book.
(Cue Kamen Rider Saber by Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra ft. Kin'ichi Motegi)
(Instrument)
(Saber, Blades and Espada were together as they clashed their swords on top of each other. Yuuma, Kanade and Tetsuya were in a room with each holding Wonder Ride Books in hand as they pointed at the camera and started dancing.)

'When everything that you know has been swallowed by the unknown'
(Saber was in Wonder World, practicing his swordsmanship by swinging Rekka around. Back in the room, Kanade took the lead as they raised their arms before rolling their arms, then Kanade let Tetsuya take the lead.)

'A blazing soul will be the light, cleanly cutting through the cold night'
(In the Wonder World, Blades was standing on the water as he practiced with Nagare, splashing water and sending them away. Then the three were exploring in a museum, checking out the giant book display before meeting together by a giant topiary stacked by three giant books and crossing their arms and posing for the camera. They're back in the room, dancing with their arms striking to the right like they're using swords before shooting their hands in the air.)
{Sekai wo kaeru kikotsu arunara}
'If you believe you have the spirit to change the whole world'
(Espada as in Wonder World practicing with Ikazuchi as it conducts lightning. Then They're back to striking their arms to the left before raising their arms up.)
{Mazu jibun jishin wo kaero!}
'Then let's begin by changing who you are'
(They swung their right arm and back before spinning around and posing as pages fell down to the floor.)

(Kanade was by a giant cup with her arms up and smiled while Yuuma was by a giant daruma looking wary about his surroundings. Then the three were messing around as they ran around the museum. They hid in a giant chess set as they got out of their hiding spots with goofy smiles on their faces.)
Kamen Rider Saber!
(Saber swung down Rekka before swinging it up as we see the giant sword monument behind him. Back in the room, they swung their arms down then held it before slowly raising them up. They smiled as they threw their heads out and rolled their hands before they started doing kicks, then punches and posed. In the Wonder World, Saber was with Blades and Espada as they views the sights in front of them)
Jikai, Kamen Rider Saber: The Almighty Symphogear
Yuuma was going to the Zwei Wing concert with Hibiki as they walked among the crowd. When they came to the stadium, Yumma was amazed by the view of it.
Yuuma: This is amazing!
At backstage, Kanade comforts Tsubasa as they wore ponchos. They stood up as they walk out stage as they held hands.
Kanade: You take this too seriously, Tsubasa.
Tsubasa: We can overcome anything!
The Noise appeared in the stadium as they start their attack. Kanade sung her relic as she dons her Gungnir armor as Tsubasa did the same in her Ame no Habakiri armor and they cut down the Noise. Hibiki witness them fighting as she was in awe.
Hibiki: What the...
Hibiki was surrounded by the Noise before they been blown away by a fire slash as Saber appeared before her. Saber joins Kanade and Tsubasa in battle as Kanade block the incoming Noise with her spear until her armor broke as hit into Hibiki.
Saber: Hibiki!
Kanade: My greatest aria...My swan song...
Kanade stood in front of the Noise with her Spear held up as she about to sing her song but Saber stops her and grabs her the shoulder before she could finish it. He lectured her until he notices Rekka and her Gungnir glowed as they resonate. They readied their weapons as they're do a powerful attack.
Saber: Hope lies beyond any resolve!

I'm here to introduce you the first ever Kamen Rider Saber X Symphogear fanfic! I want to write this for a while because there a few Saber fanfics. So I decided to do one but took a while to planned it out. First off, Yuuma gain his power 5 years before the main Symphogear starts and the Megiddo won't procced until after the concert. As you can see, Kanade's sister is alive just because and her name will be Aika which mean "Love song" as it goes well for the theme.
As you know, Kanade will be alive after the concert as every fanfic you've seen. But I got plans for Kanade in the future and you'll get a hint in the next chapter.
