Five year old Constance grabbed the video camera and decided to go into her parent's bedroom and take a video. Opening the door she saw the two holding onto one another while watching television.
"Hey mommy, daddy." said Constance.
"Okay bringing the camera in here aren't ya? You little booger." said Otto.
"Good morning." said Luanne.
"Say Whiskey." said Constance.
"Good morning. Last day of 1994." said Luanne.
"Is this the last day of Christmas?" Constance asked.
"The last day of the year. It's New Years day tomorrow. Oh and tonight we are going to a party to bring in the New Year. Though you will be hanging with Jax, Opie, Donna, Tara, Dawn, and Fawn. At least until midnight, and then daddy and I will take you home a little after and stay in." said Luanne.
"Jax is a jerk, Donna hates me, Fawn and Dawn are meanie poo poo heads, and Tara is like the evil stepmother in Cinderella. Why do we have to go? I wanna stay home." said Constance.
"We'll stay home and grill out okay honey. How do steaks sound?" Otto asked.
"Sounds good. I'll have to get some today." said Luanne.
"Can I come?" asked Constance.
"Of course Connie." said Luanne.
Constance jerked awake. New Years Eve 1994 was when she was taken from her family, and finally in 2008 she was able to escape.
"You okay little girl?" Happy asked putting a hand on her knee as he drove.
"I just had a flashback dream. I was taken on New Years Eve 1994. I should have just gone to the party, and dealt with the asshole kids that I didn't like. I never would have been taken then. And my poor parents decided to let me stay home, and say hey lets just grill out." said Connie.
"That shit ain't your fault. You were just a little kid, and had no idea that any of that shit would happen. Fuck what did that bitch who took you do to you?" Happy asked.
"Oh besides mentally, verbally, and physically abuse me? Well her plan was for me to marry her son when I turned eighteen. I see him as nothing as a friend or even a brother. Plus I want my parents." said Constance.
"I'll get you home. Don't worry about that. I think you need some fun. Lets stop at Santa Monica. Please you need some fun." said Happy.
"Okay we'll stop. Can I call my mom first and let her know?" Constance asked.
"Here you go little girl." said Happy handing his phone to her and then proceeded to caress her knee gently.
"Happy what's going on?" Luanne asked on the other end.
"Hey mom it's Connie. Listen Happy wants to make a stop at the Santa Monica Pier Amusement park. I've never done anything like that before, but I just wanted to let you know." she said.
"Yes you need that. I trust Happy with everything, and you are in good hands. Also tell the cheap bastard that I'll foot the bill." said Luanne.
"Hey Happy mom called you a cheap bastard, and said that she would foot the bill." said Constance.
"Give me the phone please." said Happy as Connie handed him the phone.
"I got the bill you don't have to worry about it. Also I know I just met your daughter, but I like her alot, and I don't give a shit about the age difference. We are both legal so age is just a number." said Happy.
"Convince Otto." said Luanne before she hung up.
"Okay lets go have some fun." said Happy pulling into the parking lot. "Okay how about you get a swimsuit, and something to wear over it. Also why not just jump into the Pacific Ocean. Also it's all in what you want. Forget that bitch's ways to dress you and do what you want." said Happy.
Constance picked out a swimsuit and got into the ocean and even borrowed a couple twelve year old kids's boogie boards and tried some body surfing. Then they went to the pair and rode every ride. She also bought an outfit to wear to the amusement park. She felt free to pick what she liked, though she wanted to start out small with the bikini and not get something revealing so she settled on a shimmering blue tankini.
Then they went to the amusement park and hit every ride. Including the ferris wheel. Connie trusted Happy enough to make a stop on their way back to Charming.
When they were at the top of the ferris wheel Connie and Happy kissed. The two hit a lot of rides and just had a good time. It was a great first date. Hell Happy didn't even mind footing the bill.
Later on they decided to head back to Charming. Constance was content and happy as she laid her head on Happy's shoulder as he drove them. "Hey we may have to get a hotel for the night. I'm gettin tired." he said.
"I can drive some. She never let me get my license, but her son taught me how to drive. He's a good man, but I never wanted to be his wife. I consider him a friend or a brother. That's it. You on the other hand pull me in. I see something in you." said Constance.
"I feel the same way. I asked your mom if we could be together, but she said that she trusted me, and is okay with it, but to convince your dad." said Happy.
"My dad has always been good at reading people, and if he okays it then we are with one another. I have a couple of things. Don't ever lay hands on me, cheat, lie, or keep me from my family. Also I want full disclosure with club business. What's said between us stays between us. Though if I remember Gemma right she knows everything so the two of us can bounce off one another." said Constance. It was like the further away from the Galindo compound and Dita Galindo the more confident she was getting.
"Yea Gemma is a spit fire. Her problem is that she doesn't know when to back the fuck off sometimes. Though what's said in between us stays between us. Club business goes no further than me, and you, but personal business it's up to you what you want to disclose about you, but our relationship is our relationship. I get talking to your mom, or your best friend when you get one, but those conversations stay between you all and myself if I need to know. Also can you really drive?" Happy asked.
"Yes I know how. I just don't have a license, and I agree with everything you are saying about disclosure. Though I have no idea what friend that will I be able to bounce ideas off of. It would be my mom, but that's it." said Connie.
"Well there is Jax's Ol Lady Tara, Donna who is Opie's wife, and Ol' Lady, and Lyla who is one of your mom's actresses, and is with Juan Carlos aka Juice. They will accept you." said Happy.
"Thanks Happy." said Connie.
"Okay I want to ride my bike. I suddenly had a second wind. Lets got home tonight. Do you remember how to get to your mom's?" Happy asked.
"Yes. Once I hit the Welcome to Charming sign I know where I'll be going." said Connie feeling giddy that she remembered. Happy pulled over at the next gas station so they could top off his truck and bike. Connie grabbed a Mountain Dew, and some snacks, and Happy smoked a cigarette while Connie decided to light one of his also.
"Okay lets go. I won't go to fast, but if I do just go at whatever speed you feel comfortable with baby." said Happy as Connie got into the driver's seat of his cage.
"I'll be fine. Lets get to Charming. I wanna go home." said Connie as she wiped a few tears from her eyes. Happy knew and could see right then that she tried to be strong for years, but shit everything got to her, and the past thirteen years affected her alot. She needed to go home, reconnect with her parents, and talk to someone about what she had been through. A friend, her mom, hell even Gemma or Tara, and even Piney. Someone.
"Lets go." said Happy kissing her, amd was pleased when she kissed him back before the two separated before heading back to Charming.
