It's been a week ever since that incident. A few things happens. Ruby has became more negative ever since Hoshiguma's accident with Yang. Yang was in a coma. Nobody will know when she will wake up. Weiss was a complete mess around Hoshiguma and started to stay away from her as far as she can. Blake might not show it, but she felt a sad about the condition her team was in.
And this was her second day at Beacon, and with her new team that she just met.
Team JNPR was still normal around the edge. Although, Jaune has a few changes after that day. One was that every time he's team were chosen in a match, he would bravely fought with them with determination. He's fighting style has also transformed, he's no longer a weak boy, he's smarter, more agile, more... experience.
It may have something to do with Sam last week.
Because of this change, his team has been put as one of the strongest first year team in Beacon. Team CACH was okay for a few things, except their team was feared and discriminated against the other students, especially Hoshiguma. Since that day, Hoshiguma has been avoided out of fear that her nature as an oni will lash out again. Because of this, Hoshiguma's mood had became much worse. Amiya had always supported her ever since she met Doctor, no matter what other people told her.
Flashback
"You guys want to know what I am?" Hoshiguma asked them as they were in a hospital with Yang on the bed in a coma, Ruby was seen next to her looking over her. Next to Yang's bed is Sam's bed. He's unconscious in bed with heavy injuries all over his body. W is looking over him. All four team are now listening to what Hoshiguma is about to say.
"Hoshi, are you sure you want to tell them?" Amiya worried about her friends secret.
"Yes, I'm sure." Hoshiguma said. "Now listen closely, and I don't want words got out. A long time ago, there was two race. The humans and Faunus, correct?" They all nodded. "In actuality, there was 5." They all recoiled in surprised.
"5? What's the other 3?" Jaune asked with a serious tone.
"There's her," She pointed at Tricia. "Then her," She pointed at W. "And me. An oni, also known as-"
"-Demons." Weiss, Ren, and Hoshiguma finished at the exact same time. "I-I heard s-stories about them f-from the b-b-books." Weiss said as she stuttered in fear.
"My parents told me stories about how our ancestors used to fight them and Grimms at the same time." Ren said in a calm tone, but there was a hidden fear behind his face. "They said Onis eats the flesh of humans and faunuses."
"That is correct, but not anymore." Hoshiguma said.
"That's great! Right?" Nora asked, trying to be positive. Hoshiguma nodded as she continues the story.
"After a few years later, the Onis noticed there was a difference. We no longer hunger for human and faunus flesh." Hoshiguma said. "With that, lots of us started to come to their senses and stop aiming for humans and faunuses." She then frowned. "but they still fear us."
"Why?" Pyrrha asked in confusion with the others.
"Because... we are capable of hitting through aura." Hoshiguma dropped the bomb as the others went silent. "And not only that, we still have our nature of losing control to our feral side." The group was silent after hearing this. A race that can hurt people without breaking their aura? That is just horrifying. "Because of this many people drove us away to the mountains and trapped us there. Forever." The group were horrified at what her race have went through. "FYI, Since we don't feel hunger anymore, we never really had a problem with not eating anything. Heck we can even survive years with out food." The group were shocked that her kind can survive years of famine. "Anyways, we were locked inside the mountains, a seal was placed so that we can never be free from the mountains."
"Then what happened? How can you be here?" Charlie asked, Cassie nodded agreeing with her.
"Well, my parents called it the light that freed us from our prison." Hoshiguma said. "They said, that a long time ago, some light covers the entrance and poof! The seal has been broken . They don't know what it was, but we were grateful that the seal has been released. We eventually came out and started to live normally, but out of fear that we would be hunted down and killed by the demon slayers, we all live in hiding among the villagers. Although, some did managed to hide themselves in cities. But that changed 21 years ago."
"What happened?" Blake asked.
"A man found one of our kind, my mother." Hoshiguma said as the others were shocked at the revelations. "That exact day, my mother panic and went to attack him. The man tried to stop her though, he assures her that he won't hurt her. After they both calm down, they both talked with each other for a while. They... eventually became friends. Everyday the man would visit her again and again." The group knows where this is going. Hoshiguma continues with a smile. "They... fell in love, and had me."
"Wow..." Nora, Cassie, Weiss as she feels calmed now, and W said. "That's some romance between two worlds there." W commented.
"Yep." Hoshiguma's face turn sad again. "When I was born, I have one singular horn. Probably because I'm half human." She said as she pointed at her horn. "I grew up with my mom and dad, in a village, which they know the existence of Onis by the way, and we lived happily there for five years. Until that day."
"What happened?" Weiss asked.
"I... went feral for the first time." The others gave a look of sympathy. "Me and my parents were visiting another village. There was this kid who was bullying this girl for being different. I intervened and went to defend her. The other kids just laugh at me and calls me freak. Then I snapped." Hoshiguma said. "I hit him so hard that I did not just broke his nose, I crack his skull." The group gasp.
"Oh my Oum..." Blake said as she puts her hand on her mouth.
"His parents found out, and were furious. They demand to capture me and thrown me to prison. My parents are not happy with this. Then at the worst time ever, grimms attack." Hoshiguma said. "That night, there was a horde of grimm. My parents tried to save the bully's parents, but it was too late. With so much chaos around, I was scared and ran. Unbeknownst to me, an old deathstalker went to kill me. At the last second, my dad saved me. He told me to run away from the village. As I ran I saw the village behind me burning down, then an explosion happened."
The group are now felt sorry to her. She has went through a lot, losing her parents at the age of 5. All except one person.
"Maybe you deserve it..."
"RUBY!" Weiss and Blake said at the same time. "Why would you say that?!" Weiss asked as she was shocked to see her partner became so cold.
"Yeah, I mean you said it yourself. Your kind was a kind that eats humans, right?" Ruby said as she stood up. "Maybe, when you went to BEAT the SHIT out of Yang! You WERE TRYING TO EAT HER AREN'T YOU?!"
"Ruby! What is wrong with you?!" Jaune asked as he holds her shoulder. She slapped his hands away.
"DON'T YOU GET IT! She's trying to trick us! Maybe all this talk about her stopped being hungry to humans and stuff was all LIE! Maybe she's trying to let our guard DOWN so she can eat us!" Ruby said as she points accusingly at Hoshiguma. "You did, didn't you?! YOU WANT TO EAT HER?! HUH?!" Ruby said angrily as she then went to Hoshiguma and trying to kill her. The group saw this and immediately stood up to hold Ruby, except W stayed being calm and stared at Ruby.
"Ruby?! What's going on with you?!" Jaune asked with a worried tone while holding her.
"Please! Stop this!" Tricia said as she was holding her.
"LET ME GO! I'M GOING TO KILL YOU FOR HURTING MY SISTER!" Her eyes flashed as she started to struggle to be free from her friends clutches.
"Ruby! This isn't you! I know you that you can understan-" Weiss said as she worries for her friend, Blake agrees with her.
"YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT ME!" Ruby said as she freed herself with from Jaune and Tricia.
"Ruby! You're starting to scare me!" Nora said as she holds her.
"Ruby! You need to calm! Down!" Ren said as he struggled to keep her.
"GET OFF OF ME!" Ruby said as she throw everyone away from her with great strength. Charlie and Cassie manage to let go at the last second and dodge her attacks. Hoshiguma has a scared face as she was breathing faster.
"HEY! RED! PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER!" Cassie said as she went to her fighting stance.
"I don't know you that much, but you need to calm down!" Charlie said as she went to her fighting stance as well.
"SHUT UP! This is between me an-"
*BONK!**THUD!*
Ruby got knocked out by a pan from behind. As she fell down it reveal Sam was holding a pan, standing with the help of W. There were no more signs of injuries on his was panting really hard as he let go of his pan letting out a big clank in the room.
"Where... the fuck... is the nurse... when you need her?" Sam said as he was panting.
"Hey, come on go back to bed. You need some rest." W ordered her partner.
"No. I'm okay, I'm okay..." Sam then feels heavy. "Okay, maybe not." He said as he fainted back to his bed. W take a look at Sam then turned to the others.
"I'll be with him. You guys take care of Ruby." W said as she tucked Sam in.
"Okay, thanks W." Blake said. She then notice something's wrong. "Wait... Where's Hoshiguma?" The group look around to find that Hoshiguma's missing. They also spotted an open window. The group went silent as the wind blow through the curtains.
"Hoshi..?"

That is if Hoshiguma's still around to hear the talks and discrimination she got back at Beacon. Sam, surprisingly, heals a lot faster than other people. He was out of the hospital after 2 days and a lot of convincing. It's been a week now ever since Hoshiguma's disappearance. Now, team SWMP and CAC(H) are planning to find Hoshiguma while team JNPR and WB cover for them.
"Okay, Amiya, What can you tell us about her?" Sam asked as he was with his team and CAC(H) in SWMP's room, planning.
"Well, she was from a small village in Mistral, then she met Doctor as she was walking through the woods alone. After that, Doctor bring her home to his base." Amiya explained. "A few years later, Doctor met me and my family as we were also attacked by grimms in our village. He saw some potential in me, and asked me to come with him to train. My family was hesitant at first, of course Doctor being human and all, but they trusted him to take care of me. We kept in touch if you are wondering." She stopped as she looked at the others to check if they want her to continue.
"Okay... Go on." Sam nodded in confirmation.
"We met each other in base. Since then, we are best friends. She was the shield and I am the sword. Whenever she has trouble, she would talk to Doctor and me. Although, she hasn't come back to talk to me... I've never seen her like this. So, I have a feeling that she ran to meet Doctor." Amiya finished her explanation.
"Right, what's Doctor's name?" Sam asked as the other also wonders why Amiya calls Doctor 'Doctor'.
"He... never told me. Only Dr. Kalt'sit knows." Amiya answered shyly.
"Okay... So, we're going to find this Doctor guy?" Cassie asked for confirmation.
"Yes, although... the problem is, is she really there?" Sam said as he put a hand on his chin. "Also some of us might have to stay behind to keep tabs on class. Just in case we missing something. I don't like having bad grades." He said as he muttered that last sentence.
"I'll do it." W puts her hands up. "But, you owe me a date." She said as she points at Sam.
"Deal."
"Yes way. Yo-" W stop mid sentence with a surprise face. "Wait what?"
"Sure." Sam said bluntly.
"W-w-w-what?" W said as her face has a small blush on her face. "Sam, d-don't you think this i-is to fas-"
"Heh, got you." Sam said with a grinned. "What? You think I can't tease people?" He let out a small laugh. Then a small punch land on his stomach.
"I-idiot. Toying with someone's feeling not a good thing, you know?" W said as she looked away.
"Duly noted..." Sam said as he groaned at the pain. The punch really hurts him.
"I'll stay here as well, to make sure she doesn't do anything stupid." Mark said as he looked at W with narrowed eyes.
"That means it's us then." Tricia said as she pat Sam on the back.
"I want to g-"
"We're staying here." Charlie said as she holds Cassie.
"Wait what?! Why can't I go on an adventure?!" Cassie asked.
"Because your grades are failing, and you are too destructive." Charlie said as she dragged Cassie out of the room.
"Wait! Wait! I want to go! Please let me go! The lessons are too boring! NOOOoooooooo!" Cassie's voice faded out as she was taken away.
"I'm gonna go do some learning." Mark said as he brought a book.
"I'm going to sleep." W said as she went to her bed and sleep.
"Okay, that makes me, Tricia, and Amiya to find and bring back Hoshiguma." Sam concluded. "I'll go tell the headmaster, about this."
"I don't think you need to." They all turned to the door to find Ozpin at the door.
"Prof... did you heard what we were planning?" Sam asked nervously.
"No. I'm actually here to talk to you about Miss Doujin. Although, it seems like you three are planning on searching for her. " He said calmly as the team Sam, Tricia, and Amiya nodded nervously while Mark's learning and W's sleeping.
"Can we sir? We are worried about her." Sam asked.
"Sure. Permission granted." Ozpin said. The three cheered. "But, a huntsman will come to look after you."
"Sure, we can work with that. Right guys?" Tricia said as she then looked to the other. Although they have the same thought of saying 'Please not Port.'
"Very well then. Also, you don't have to worry, it won't be professor Port." The three let out a relieve sigh. "In fact, he is a new professor in Beacon. I have a feeling that you might like him." Ozpin said as he gave a calm smile. "I'll tell the staff about your absence, and ready a bullhead for you tomorrow." He turned around. "Good luck students." He leaves the dorm and went to get his coffee, I think.
"Okay, let's pack what we need and meet tomorrow noon at the Bullhead." Sam said as the three split and pack their stuff. Sam went to Mark for a while.
"Hey, Mark."
"Hmm?"
"Don't f*ck my partner."
"Um... and why would I do that?"
"Wait- I thoug- nevermind. Just don't do it with her, okay? She's mine."
"OK."
"OK, good."
Meanwhile on Tricia's side.
"Don't ride my man." W said suddenly.
"What?" Tricia confused about as to why she would want to ride Sam. W didn't response back. "What does she mean with riding?"
TOMORROW
"Everyone's ready?" Sam asked as the two nodded. "Let's go." They walk to the bullhead they were assigned to. As they walk, they saw a man with a giant sword on his back. He has green hair, wears a grey and black outfit, boots and fingerless gloves. (AN: Imagine Cloud's outfit in Final Fantasy VII.) The man turns around and saw them coming.
"Oh hey! You kids must be the one Ozpin told me." The man said then froze.
"Yeah we are." Sam said as he then noticed that he was staring at Tricia, making her uncomfortable.
"S-sir? Why are you starin-" The man rushed to her and holds her shoulder.
"A Sankta?! You are a Sankta, right?!" The man asked in disbelieve with a smile on his face, that looks like a smile from a fanboy.
"Y-yeah...?" Tricia answered nervously.
"OH MY GOODNESS!" The man throw his hands up in the air. "OZPIN YOU DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING ABOUT A SANKTA BEING HERE!" He let out an excited laugh.
"Um... what?" Amiya said in confusion.
"Wait a minute." The man then look at Amiya, which startled her. "You... Your from Rhodes Island, right?" He asked Amiya slowly.
"Ye-"
"OH MY GOODDDSS! THIS JUST GETS BETTER!" He then let out an excited 'Whoo!' "Yes!"
"I'm... really confuse." Sam said in confusion.
"Oh right, sorry about that. I was just very excited to see a Sankta. Ever since I was a kid I always wanted to see a Sankta in real life. But everyone told me they were extinct. Of course as a kid I don't believe them, because I know that you really exist and are just hiding from the world. The halo and the wings are amazing! They're shining really bright! Man, is it true that those halo's can become stained if you were to fall? Oh wait! That's a sensitive topic, shouldn't have asked that. Sorry about that. Maybe I'll ask later. On the other hand, one of Rhodes Island's operative is here! I heard what they do! They are one of the biggest dust companies that rivals SDC. They are nice to their workers, everyone's pay is equal, and No racism! This place doesn't just do mining, they also do missions like..." "Um... Professor?" Sam called him.
"Huh?" He looked towards Sam and realizes. "Oh gods! I'm so sorry! I always does that." He said as he scratch the back of his head.
"So... what's your name?" Amiya asked.
"Huh? Oh! I haven't introduce my self, have I?" He cleared his throat. "Hi everyone! I'm Izuku Midoriya. Your new strategy and analysis professor." He said as he bowed. The other three awkwardly bowed as well.
"Hi, professor. I'm Samuel Jaycee, this is Amiya Scarlatina, and this is Patricia Zeppelin." Sam introduces himself and his two friends.
"Well, I hope I can do well on helping your friend!" Izuku said as he gave a smile.
MEANWHILE
"So, they are going to find her, eh?" A female Oni with purple hair said as she looked through a crystal mirror.
"Should I follow them?" Another female oni with orange hair said as she approached her from behind.
"No, I have someone who could." The oni with purple hair said as she took a sip on her drink.
"What are we going to do then, Shuten?" The oni with orange hair asked Shuten.
"We... are going to wait for her arrival, Ibaraki." Shuten said as she then snapped her fingers. Another oni appears beside her. She has black clothing and a mask that covers half her face, she also has horns on her head. She wields a katana sword on her left hand.
"Yes milady?" She asked as she bowed.
"Go find Hoshi, Yato, and bring her to me." Shuten said as she then looked at Hoshi's walking figure. "I'll be waiting for you, Hoshi." She said as she touched Hoshiguma's face on the mirror's screen.
