Rusherz: THEY WON!

The crowd cheered, AL-G Rythm was gone as the smoke cleared...but-

Vesper and Hornz: TARN!

Bugs Bunny: He's down doc!

Tarn was back to normal, though a few spots still has the aura showing. Tarn groaned in pain as Bugs Bunny raced over and turned him over on his back.

Tarn: *Weakly chuckles* Well, that hurt...did, did we win?

The rest of the toons and two Rusherz ran over, Bugs letting a tear fall and sighing in relief seeing the Rusher was not severely hurt.

Bugs Bunny: Yeah, we won doc.

Tarn sighed as the aura spots faded leaving burns on him, causing everyone to wince.

Tarn: *Feeling the burns* Hey...now might be a good idea to call 911. Think i got burnt up here.

Hornz: ON IT!

Hornz ran off with Vesper.

Vesper: Just try not to move okay? Marvin-

Marvin: On it..

Marvin placed a blanket on Tarn, who was shivering despite the burns.

Tarn: Thank you.

Micheal Jordan: HEY GUYS!

They turned to see Micheal Jordan, the freed Players, the Guardians and the Rusherz running over.

Codex: *sees the burns* Oh shallele, Tarn you going to be alright?

Hawkeye: Yeah, you were giving out alot of energy to the toons and out.

Tarn: Heh, gonna take alot more than that to stop me.

Troy: Well, you scared us there.

Pepe Le Pew: Yes, you did indeed scare us there.

Tarn chuckled.

Tarn: Sorry about that...but it was definitely worth it. Besides, had a bit of extra help.

Tarn smiles, knowing he had help from the skies above.

One week later...

Tarn was reading a book, resting on the hospital bed as an iv dripped. As soon as the ambulance was called, Tarn was whisked away and was admitted for 2nd degree burns as well as lose of energy. Other than that, he was okay and was to stay for the next week (which was this week) before heading home at the end of the week. In his room was cards and balloons wishing for him to get well. One particular card said 'thank you for saving us! Get well soon! Anthony Davis, Damian Lillard, Klay Thompson, Nneka Ogwumike, and Diana Taurasi'. Tarn got word from Hornz and Vesper that Brightline was excited to receive the papers of autographs from the DC heroes, placing them in his binder. He was happy that Brightline got the papers. The door opened revealing a certain toon grey Rabbit.

Bugs Bunny: Eh, what's up doc?

Tarn: Just relaxing...How did you-went through a portal from the HOK right.

Bugs Bunny nodded.

Bugs Bunny: PRETTY MUCH, that and toon logic...seriously though, you looking pretty good for nearly being fried.

Tarn chuckled at that.

Tarn: Yeah, I'm fine. I'll be honest, it initial shoke was the one that caused my temporary numbness back there...really sorry for scaring you all. Even you of all things.

Bugs Bunny: Your one on the list of folks who do that...and we're just glad you were not seriously injured. How are the others?

Tarn: They are fine...the studio actually played for my medical bills, apologizing for getting us involved and creating such a crazy situation.

Bugs Bunny: OH YEAH, now their getting an ear full from us toons...not the first time this happened though, certain cousins oh mine gave their company an earful when a certain Eagle was nearly crushed.

Tarn eyes widen at that, then a huge grin formed.

Tarn: Oh i got to hear THAT story from Swoop.

Bugs Bunny: Another time, for now you just rest up...it's been pretty eventful for you so i think a break is needed.

Tarn smirked.

Tarn: That was me on break Bugsy boy, adventure always seem to find us Rusherz...you get used to it.

Bugs Bunny snorted.

Bugs Bunny: That's an interesting nickname for me there.

Tarn: Would you rather Buggy Bun-Bun.

Bugs Bunny: No.

That got the two laughing as they caught up. Not the distraction Tarn wanted from all the advents...but it got the job done, not to mention new friends/allies as well, so he would do it again...minus nearly blowing up cause Rusherz are not toons now are they.

Thank the stars! Note to self, plan around holidays and work when doing chapters. Sorry these chapters took so long, but now at this moment i got a grove going again.

Thank you so much for reading this story. I hope i did the Toons justice from the -sequel...stand-alone...movie thing?- from last year. I had a blast with the NBA Rusherz involved being in the madness and rest assured, more adventures are to come...and soon, the NBA and NFL Rusherz will not be the only ones ;).
