ATTENTION! NEW CHARACTER!
D: Draco Malfoy
A few days passed, the Hogwarts Express was due to start off Platform 9 and 3/4 in two days. Hermione hadn't spoken to anyone since she left the Burrow, and he wrote back only to Ginny's owls, but very generally, without revealing any details of what was happening to her. Her parents were shocked to see her. They were not expecting their only daughter at home, but they were very happy. They spent every free moment together. It helped the dark-haired girl to forget about troubles and about a certain red-haired wizard with a captivating smile. She made the decision that when she returned to Hogwarts, she would be drawn into the whirlwind of study and the duties of the prefect, she would not pay attention to the twins, she was going to avoid them like the plague.
It was a sunny day, the witch's parents were admitting patients in their office until late hours, so she went to Diagon Alley, in early July she bought all the necessary books for school, but she wanted to buy some additional items. She left Flourish and Blotts bookstore and walked on, admiring the surrounding buildings. She had been visiting this place for six years, but it still surprised her. She thought about her life all the time. Since she found out that she was a witch, her life changed dramatically, however she was happy in the end. She was glad to finally be herself, but what exactly did that mean? She didn't know the world she belonged to, she wanted to understand it through science and at the same time to know her inner self. She always felt different from her Muggle friends. She was more mysterious and unusual. From childhood, she was accompanied by strange events that no one could explain logically. By the age of four, she could summon toys that flew around the house. Most of the family considered or still consider her a weirdo. The girl's parents themselves wondered what was happening to her. Few understood when, on her eleventh birthday, Professor McGonagall appeared in the doorway of the small but cozy Granger house. She was extraordinary and belonged to an extraordinary world that she needed to know. Now that she is older, she could not imagine life without magic, Hogwarts, the Weasley, friends and ... him. The thought quickly pushed aside. It's Fred, the greatest idiot in the world!
Suddenly, she was disturbed by the voice of a friend who had left the store with Harry, selling brand name Quidditch gear. She was glad to see them, but did not want to meet her friends. She hoped they wouldn't see each other until King's Cross, for she didn't know what to say to them. A few days passed, and she still felt very lost. She noticed that her friends were running towards her, holding hands.
G: Hermione! Wait!
He: Ginny! Harry! What are you doing here?
H: We're on our first date (Stated pleased and Ginny blushed)
He: Great, but I'm glad (Hugs friends). You have to tell me everything, Ginny!
G: Of course it is. What are you doing here?
He: I wanted to buy some extra books for school.
G: Sure, we miss you at the Burrow. You didn't have to leave. Fred hardly leaves the room, he seems to have realized his mistake. I'm worried about you.
He: Sorry, Ginny, but I didn't want to listen to his explanation and won't. I'll go, have fun now. We see you on the train, and you don't have to worry about us because we're gone and never will be.
Hermione was gone, and Ginny looked as if she had the best plan in her head. It was a broad smile on his face with a slight scowl on his nose. Harry knew the smile very well, and he didn't like it at all, on the contrary he was afraid of it. He had known his girlfriend for several years, and that expression meant trouble.
H: Ginny, I know that face, please don't get involved. It is a delicate matter, moreover, it concerns your brother and friend.
G: Potter, understand that you need to help them, because if it goes on like this, they will never be together!
H: I don't want you to make things worse, it's a ticking time bomb. It is not known when it will explode!
G: Relax, I won't do it alone. I will make a deal with the devil for their sake.
H: With whom?
G: With George! And with whom? Only he can help me bring these two guys together.
H: First, you would have to change Fred and his attitude towards women, which is impossible.
G: Oh, Sun! Do not worry. He will change his mind himself! You will see!
Hermione kept walking, she didn't understand why Ginny had mentioned him. She didn't want to know what he was doing. She didn't care. He had hurt her, even if what he said was true, he had no right to throw himself at her! The fact that the kiss was wonderful and real and deep did not matter. It shouldn't look like this. Not when he was completely drunk and didn't know what was going on around him, or when he could barely stand. He shouldn't have pressed her against the wall, and he certainly had no right to force her to hold her in his arms, and he almost killed her when he threw her in the water. She wanted about it and forget about him. So what if she liked Fred very much, since he was a total asshole. She had each, so she won't let her be one of many! He wouldn't let him hurt her again! Suddenly she felt like she collided with someone. All the books fell out of her hands, and she fell to the ground, when she looked up she saw Malfoy angry.
D: Be careful when you walk, Mudblood! They didn't teach you good manners at home! You can see how hopeless these Muggles are.
He: Sorry, I didn't notice you! In any case, you were standing in the middle of the sidewalk as if you were the king of this world! And you are nobody!
D: You better start noticing! Because you're gonna regret it, you stupid bitch! Don't get in my way! And for your information, my blood is more precious than yours!
Draco kicked one of the books into the mud and walked away. The young witch burst into tears and began collecting books. She tried to hide her tears, she was a Gryffindor girl after all, and tried to deny all sorts of weaknesses, but at that moment it didn't count. She was unable to get up from the sidewalk. She didn't want to run into Malfoy, it was an accident, and he reacted as if she'd killed his mother and father. Besides, what could she expect from a selfish aristocrat! Unexpectedly, she felt that someone was grabbing her hand and helping her to get up from the ground. She couldn't see the face of her savior, because for the first time in a long time, she was crying so hard she couldn't see anything. The boy gave her all the books that were left on the ground, and with one spell he cleared the damaged reading. Hermione began to calm down. She wanted to thank you for your help, but saw him.
He: Than ... Fred?
F: Are you okay, Hermione? (He looked at her sadly)
He: You didn't have to help me. I could do it on my own!
F: I couldn't leave you crying in the middle of the sidewalk. It's not in my nature.
He: What's in it?
F: Helping a helpless princess.
He: Thanks. (She glared at him)
Hermione wanted to leave, it was with great difficulty saying a word of thanks and displeasure to Fred with some rude text. Nice of him to help her, but she didn't want to see him. She was sure he would try to make her talk, and she was right. The boy grabbed her hand and pulled her towards him. The girl immediately moved away, but he was still holding her hand when the young Gryffindor boy was near the witch, he felt like in seventh heaven. Nothing else mattered but her proximity, but he quickly dismissed the thought.
F: I won't let you go until we talk!
He: ...
F: I acted terrible. I cannot forgive myself for treating you so badly. Sorry, I just don't control myself under the influence of alcohol.
He: If you can't drink, then don't drink and give me a break!
F: Hermione, please forgive me! We used to be friends and we still can. Let's forget about it and start over.
He: We've never been friends, and we're not going to be friends. We can go back to square one! We know each other, we spend time together for the sake of mutual friends, but we do not talk, we are strangers to each other.
F: If that's what you want, I hope you'll change your mind someday.
He: I doubt it, see you later, Fred. I'll see you at Hogwarts.
Fred released Hermione's hand. The girl walked away towards the Leaky Cauldron, and the wizard followed her with his eyes, smiling involuntarily. He liked it, I think. He wasn't sure about his feelings for her. He couldn't name them or say them out loud, so he kept telling himself that he didn't deserve her and that he'd better be a seducer and a clown. He hoped it would take his mind and reduce his feelings for the dark-haired girl, but is it even possible? He returned to his clone, who waited in the next street. Today they were examining the room they wanted to open the shop in after graduating from Hogwarts with their jokes.
The young witch was shocked. She didn't think she would ever hear regret and repentance in Fred's voice. It's nice that I apologized and begged forgiveness, but she doesn't forget so easily. She stated that she would not avoid him, after all, it was almost impossible at Hogwarts. What had she been thinking before? She will treat him like air, she just won't pay attention to him. It was the best solution and the only alliance she could afford at that moment. Let him not count on more. It doesn't matter that she likes him. They cannot be together or be friends. She couldn't just be friends with him and watch him kiss other girls or make a life with some beautiful witch. She thought this would be best for both of them, but as he grabbed her, she felt millions of butterflies flying through her body. It was amazing and so distant for her!
Two days later, the Hogwarts Express was driving through meadows and forests towards the school of magic. There was a commotion on the train. The happy students returned to their second home. Harry and Ron played Exploding Snap while Hermione and Ginny talked about their plans for this year. They were all in cloud nine when they thought about another year at Hogwarts. Suddenly the twins fell into the compartment. Fred inadvertently looked at the brunette, who pretended not to see him, but furtively glanced at him and smiled to himself. The redhead also smiled at the sight of her. She was so beautiful, too bad she ignored him. Ginny caught glances and smirks and decided it was time to go ahead with her plan.
Ge: We have bad news! Umbridge is back as Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher!
