New characters: P: Parvati Patil La: Lavender Brown
The next day, Hermione was sitting in the common room reading her favorite Muggle book, entitled Twilight by Stephanie Meyer. The young witch had never delved into vampire tales or werewolf tales before, especially the romances related to them, but since she found out she was a witch, their stories became closer to her. She was amazing herself. She had powers that ordinary Muggles could only dream of. She began to deepen her knowledge of the magical world from ordinary scientific books. However, at the moment when feelings for a certain redhead appeared in her heart, who, unfortunately, could only hurt her. She started escaping into romance. Everything was simple in them, and not in life, which is why she liked Twilight so much, because the forbidden love of a vampire and an ordinary girl resembled her own complicated feeling. She smiled involuntarily as she read the description of the kiss of the above-described couple. She put down the novel and thought about today. The first time she scored twenty points in a Potions class. It was a shock to all the students because Snape never gave anyone more than five points. In addition, the joint departure with Ernie for Hogsmeade on Wednesday was inexorably approaching. She agreed to accompany Macmillan because she wanted to forget about Fred ... About the way he hurt her ... About the fact that she started to care more about him when he was a moron. She hoped the Hufflepuff boy would make him forget about the bright redhead.
Now, Monday was slowly drawing to a close, and the young witch had a plethora of homework that took up most of her thoughts. Of course, as always, she also checked her friends' reports. Suddenly, overjoyed, Ginny ran into the common room, snapping her out of her reverie.
G: Hermione! You will not believe what happened! (She said excitedly).
He: Tell me! (She announced with a smile on her face).
G: Our wonderful chaser Alicia Spinnet sprained her ankle during training today! (She screamed in excitement).
He: And that made you so happy? (She asked surprised).
G: Yes, Angelina has decided that I will enter the main squad in her place! I became the chaser!
He: OMG! Congratulations! (She hugged her friend).
G: I'm so happy! This is the only plus of having older brothers! They taught me to play Quidditch!
He: You'll be fantastic on the pitch! Best of Weasley!
G: You have to drink it! We're doing a girl's night out tonight! George promised to get me a butterbeer.
He: Ginny! It's Monday! I have a lot of homework. I can't today, sorry.
G: I'm not asking if you can! He was just telling you that we are celebrating today! Come to the dormitory! Lavender and Parvati are waiting for us!
Ginny dragged angry Hermione to their dormitory, where they started having fun. At first, dark-head girl resisted and tried to escape from the women's night, but eventually she let herself be drawn into the whirlwind of the party. The girls listened to Muggle and magic music, sang the lyrics and danced. They had a great time, as evidenced by the fact that voices were laughing at the sky. They didn't realize that two red-hairs boys had been watching them for a good ten minutes. One of the twins watched with fascination in Granger's eyes. He didn't know that she dances so beautifully and moves gracefully. He tried not to show his admiration for Hermione, unfortunately in vain. His eyes danced with joy at the sight of her. Lavender noticed them, who was immediately indignant at their presence in the room.
La: What are you looking for here ?! By what right do you enter a female dorm without permission ?! You morons! You fool!
Ge: Don't scream! We with the package so that your evening is not so boring, although without us, you will definitely not have fun! (He laughed).
La: You know what Weasley ... I'd rather be bored than hang out with you guys!
Ge: Oh... You don't know what you're missing!
G: Give me that beer and leave! (Fred handed his sister six creamy beers and smiled at Hermione. She ignored him).
Ge: You owe us 10 Sickle, sister.
G: I'll give you tomorrow, now get out! We don't want to see you today!
Ginny pushed the brothers out the door. They left displeased. Not that they want to attend a girl's party. Without exaggeration! They had their dignity. They just thought every moment was good for making a joke or annoying someone. In this case, Lavender, who was one of the few girls in school not to be crazy about the twins, hated them, on the contrary. She considered the brothers to be the biggest failure of the Weasley family, but for the sake of Ginny and Ron, she did not show it, because she cared about them. She tried to tolerate their siblings. Before Fred left, he glanced one last time at Hermione, who turned as soon as their eyes met.
P: Have you noticed how Fred was watching Hermione ?!
La: Sure I do! He was devouring her with his eyes! Moron!
He: You thought. (She opened the beer, then drank some.)
P: We didn't think so at all! We aren't blind! Fred was looking up and down at you, and that is no good.
La: Parvati is right. Forgive Ginny for saying this, but Hermione watch out for Fred. He's a horrible seducer and asshole! You can afford someone better. And the fact that he is looking at you like Ron at the last piece of pumpkin pie doesn't bode well!
G: I'm not angry, Lavender. I agree with you that this sight means trouble.
He: Come on! I don't know what Fred would have to do to start talking to him normally! He is finished for me!
P: He has his ways ... Before you turn around, you will eat from his hand!
He: I ... (She wanted to say something, but Ginny cut her off).
G: We were supposed to have fun, not talk about my stupid brothers!
La: Ginny is right! Let's get back to the fun!
Hermione forced a smile on her face, then went back to playing, but she wasn't having as much fun as before. She knew Fred's faults that dominated his personality, and she could see his virtues at the same time. He was caring, honest, devoted, courageous, creative, handsome, damn handsome. She liked it so much, however she was furious with him all the time! She hated him for what he did! He had no right to interfere with her personal life, which she valued so much, and he knew it well.
The rest of the evening passed quietly. They drank beers and gossiped. They found out that Ron had asked Lavender on a date, but still hadn't offered a date. The teenagers decided to take matters into their own hands and force the youngest brother to make a specific declaration, because at such a pace, he would finish Hogwarts sooner than make an appointment with Brawn. Ginny promised that she would help her friend prepare for her meeting with Ernie. On Tuesday, invitations came from Bill and Fleur to the wedding, which was to take place in a month's time. Harry and Hermione were also invited. The upcoming celebration in the redhead family caused indescribable delight in Ginny, who was to become the bridesmaid of phlegm. Yes, she didn't like Delacour, but she tried not to show it. For her beloved older brother, she would do anything. She decided to devote all her free time to organizing the wedding, although she could only do by correspondence, but what is it for her? The bigger problem was the dress she should have bought, as it turned out, not only was she having this problem, but her roommate as well. Which meant one thing... Shopping!
On Wednesday all lessons ended before lunch. Hermione, after finishing her meal, went to her dormitory. The girl took a bath, put a lotion on her body and waited for a friend to help choose her outfit and apply makeup. At 3 p.m. she had an appointment with Ernie in front of the school. It was already 2:00 p.m. and the Weasley's only daughter still hadn't appeared. They made an appointment at 1.30pm. A furious Granger ran into the common room in a pink bathrobe, down slippers and a towel over her head. It included twins, Ron, and several first-graders testing Weasley & Weasley inventions. The young witch ignored this and the fact that her friends see her in this outfit, as she was very upset about her first date. She wanted to do her best. She liked Macmillan and hoped that maybe something more would come of it. She hoped he would eventually forget about Fred, who hadn't taken his eyes off her as she approached them.
Ge: Sun! What happened? Why do you look like this?
He: Where is your sister ?! She made an appointment with me half an hour ago! She was supposed to help me get ready! (She spoke, ignoring George's questions.)
R: She went with Harry to Angelina to pick up the outfit for the game. Can you tell us where are you going in this outfit?
He: (She just realized she was in a bathrobe now) Does it matter where I'm going?! (She asked, embarrassed)
Ge: Of course you do! As your friends, we have a right to know where you want to go in this tasteful pink bathrobe. (He laughed at his friend).
He: I wasn't gonna go on a date in this! (The brothers widened their eyes in astonishment. The young witch was angry with herself. She didn't want them to know about it).
Ge: Who is this lucky guy?
He: Don't be nosy, Weasley! It's not your business! Where is your sister?! She was supposed to help me get ready!
R: Probably coming soon. Calm down! (Hermione glared at him).
At this point, Ginny walked into the Common Room, who immediately remembered she had an appointment with a friend. The girls ran to their dormitory. After an hour, the teenager was ready for her first date in life. Dressed in a black short-sleeved jumpsuit, leather jacket, and wedges, she headed for the zipper where Ernie was waiting for her. It was mid-September and the temperatures were pleasant outside. The couple walked around Hogsmeade, hand in hand. They visited the Honeydukes, Zonko's Joke Shop, and drank butterbeer at Three Broomsticks Inn. They talked a lot and had a great time in each other's company. You could say that they fit together perfectly. They had similar personalities, attitudes and passions, but one thing was missing, and that was chemistry. There was no spark between them, at least from Hermione. Before 5 p.m. they decided to return to the castle. They went straight to the Quidditch pitch, where most of the school was gathered. Today is the first game of the season, Gryffindor vs Hufflepuff!
Meanwhile, in the locker room, the teams were getting ready to fight. There was a tense atmosphere among the Gryffindor, everyone wanted to win the first game. Angelina gave the last tips to her team, most of the players listened to her with excitement. The exception was Fred, who was sitting in the corner of the locker room trying to tie his shoe. Emotions were buzzing in him. He was angry, sad and jealous at the same time. He couldn't help but think about the beautiful little girl who was now on a date. It pained him that he was not in her chosen place, and even more so that he did not see a chance for himself to be in his place. Besides, he didn't really care about her ... No? I guess? He himself did not know what was happening to him now. This whole crush on Hermione was starting to fade away. George came up to him.
Ge: You need to calm down, Fred! Match right away! You'll still be dating Hermione. Not today, not tomorrow, but you will!
F: I don't understand what you mean? I'm nervous about the game!
Ge: Yeah, sure, for sure. How many times do I have to tell you that you can't fool me!
F: You must be so pushy! So what if I think about her! I know I screwed up, and I am already starting to not feel, what I felt.
Ge: Yeah right, and I'm Snape!
F: In that case, welcome to the Gryffindor's locker room, professor! Have you finally washed your hair? (He started to laugh).
Ge: Stop joking! Get over and out on the pitch!
Exactly at 5:00 p.m. the match started, which was commented on by Lee Jordan as always.
