The next morning in the Gryffindor Tower, there was a great deal of excitement. Bill's wedding day had come. Immediately after breakfast, the invited students, using the Floo powder and the fireplace in Dumbledore's office, were to go to the Burrow, where the entire ceremony was planned. Hermione was awakened very early in the morning by a nervous Ginny. Dark-head girl decided to leave the Dormitory as soon as possible and go to the Great Hall for breakfast, so as not to fall victim to the unjustified screams of her friend. The girl was followed by the twins, who were also fed up with the madness associated with their older brother's wedding, despite the fact that, at their own request, they played a significant role in him.
Hermione entered the great hall with a smile on her face. Contrary to appearances, she was looking forward to going to the Burrow. She wanted to meet the Weasley family again and attend such an important event, and it gave her a sense of belonging to something bigger. It gave her great satisfaction because she got to know herself and the wizarding world in which she lived better and better. Six years passed, but she still felt like a stranger to him. Books provided her with great knowledge, but she could not gain experience and self-confidence with them. At the moment when she was about to sit at the Gryffindor table, Ernie stopped her, and the whole situation was watched by the twins with a rather sluggish expression on their faces
E: Can we talk?
He: We don't have what, yesterday you said enough!
E: Please understand that I want the best for you. I'm worried about you. I don't want you to come back from the Burrow crying!
He: You have nothing to worry about. I can handle it.
E: I can't convince you to stay at school?
He: No!
Furious, Ernie left the dining room. He didn't understand why his friend was so stubborn. She would be safer with him, no one would hurt her. Macmillan tried to care for her, but the witch wouldn't. He believed that the Weasley weren't special, they were just an ordinary family, so they shouldn't mean that much to her. Especially that its members hurt her so badly, even they made that the dark-head girl cried. What did they have about themselves? Macmillan had so much more to offer her. Unexpectedly, he lost his temper and hit the wall with his fist, which drew the attention of the figures in the paintings, which spared no words of criticism in his direction. Fred caught up with the blond boy. Redhead didn't like Hermione's acquaintance with Ernie. He thought the boy was too confusing her, and he was jealous, but of course he didn't admit it.
F: Macmillan! Wait!
E: What do you want, Weasley ?!
F: Get off Hermione at last! How many times do I have to tell you this?!
E: Are you threatening me again?
F: This time, I warn you. I see you hurt her. Yesterday she came back furious with your lessons, and today you were arguing again. I won't let her hurt you!
E: Because it's your role to hurt her? Don't make me laugh! I care about Hermione and I will do anything to make her stop talking to you, because you are the ones who keep breaking her heart! You and your ginger family!
F: (He grabbed his robes and pulled him to the wall). Listen to me, Macmillan! Get closer to her, and I'll hit you with that pretty face of yours! I will use all my inventions, magic and even Muggle ways to hurt you if, Hermione, you get a hair off her head. Remember, the Weasley aren't messing with!
After breakfast, the siblings and their friends moved to the Burrow, where there was a lot of noise. The householders ran around the house, trying to get everything ready on time. There was a huge tent in front of the building. A wedding and a wedding ceremony were to take place there. Over a hundred guests were expected at the party. Fleur's family, Bill's relatives, all members of the Order of the Phoenix and friends of the family were invited. Surprisingly, the area around the property was guarded by Aurors. Mrs. Weasley was waiting for her children and their friends in the living room.
M.W: You are finally here! I thought you were going to be late!
Ge: Take it easy, mom! We have a lot of time.
G: You have a lot of time yourself! I have to prepare myself and make sure everything is perfect!
M.W: Well, take it easy, kids! Girls, go to Ginny's room, Fleur is waiting for you there. You will help her get ready, and you boys go to Percy's room, and Bill and you will prepare yourselves there. Moves!
H: Excuse me, Mrs. Weasley, why are the Aurors here?
M.W: It's Albus's idea. He convinced Mad-Eye that the wedding should have security, and you know Moody, he sees a threat everywhere, so he organized the Aurors. I do not know why, since You-Know-Who is no longer with us. Come on move! Because we are here talk and time flies!
The ceremony began at three o'clock. A nervous Bill was waiting at the altar with the bridesmaids, who were Ginny and the bride's sister. Fleur slowly led her down the aisle. Quite quickly, an official from the Ministry of Magic celebrated the wedding of the young couple. Less than an hour later, in a huge tent, the invited guests sat at round tables and enjoyed a delicious dinner. The Weasley siblings and their friends had the pleasure of spending the entire party together at the same table. Hermione found it unlucky that she had to sit next to Fred, only they came to the ceremony without an accompanying person, as Ginny was with Harry, George with Angelina, Ron with Lavender, even Percy had brought a friend with whom he worked at the ministry. Unfortunately, Charlie was not at the wedding because he was burned by a dragon. Fortunately these were not serious injuries, but he had to stay in Romania in a wizarding hospital specializing in such accidents.
Throughout the celebration, Fred was watching the girl next to him, who looks amazing in a navy-blue lace short-sleeved lace dress and golden stilettos. Ginny and Angelina chose her delicate gold bracelets and earrings for this. They made each other strong makeup, but it was not provocative. The groom's sister also delighted with her beauty in a long plum dress with long sleeves and black high heels. Angelina, on the other hand, put on a flared dress in front of the knee in a golden shade and without straps, she wore a black jacket and wedges. All three looked devastatingly beautiful, and their partners couldn't take their eyes off them. Unexpectedly, halfway through the meal, the twins got up from the table and left the tent.
The twins didn't come back to the party for a long time, which caught Ginny's attention. The girl was afraid that the brothers would do some stupid joke with which they would destroy the ceremony, and that she wouldn't survive this, just like the twins whom she would destroy their lives. She started to look for them, so she left the tent. Meanwhile, Hermione and Ron noticed that Harry was sitting very pensive, which worried them. He hadn't acted that way since the end of the war.
R: Harry, what's going on?
H: Nothing, we'll talk after the wedding. I don't want to spoil the celebration.
He: You have to tell us! NOW!
H: Fine! Dumbledore stopped me today before I went into the fireplace. He said when I got back we would have to talk seriously, I know what.
R: You don't think she wants to talk about him?
H: I don't know, but I have a bad feeling. I don't like the fact that the Aurors suddenly showed up, this conversation ...
He: Take it easy! There is a rational explanation for everything. Moody has strange ideas, hence the Aurors are here, and this conversation doesn't have to be about him but something else. Let's not worry in advance!
Halfway through the conversation between the friends, Ginny returned, pissed off. She looked for twins everywhere, but couldn't find them anywhere. She will lose her temper soon. She has spent a lot of time organizing the party. She wanted everything to be perfect.
G: Where did these two fools go? They are gone, half an hour already!
A: George said they had a surprise for everyone
G: If they do, some joke will kill them! I swear the Bat-Bogey Hex will be the least of their problems! I have worked a long time to make everything look perfect!
R: Relax, girls, maybe it won't be that bad.
La: Look! Have they just entered the stage?
G: Oh mother, not this! The first dance was about to be! I have to stop them!
H: (He grabbed her hand). Let's give them a chance. Maybe they'll be serious for once.
Fred, guitar in hand, sat down on the stool next to the microphone, while George took his seat behind the magic keyboard. They smiled happily at everyone. You could tell they were very nervous, but also happy, as if they were about to do the greatest thing in the world.
F: Welcome! Everyone knows who we are, so I won't introduce us. At the request of the groom and our brother, we will perform a song, during which the bride and groom will perform their first dance. Bravo! (He started clapping).
Bill and Fleur stepped out into the center of the tent. Fred started playing the guitar very lightly, adding some vocals a few seconds later. He sang Ed Sheeran's song Perfect, then George joined him with a game on the Keyboard. They performed together. They both played fantastically, and also had very nice voices. Their performance was overwhelming. All guests were enchanted by the performance of the twins. The redheaded brothers were serious for the first time in what they did, and at the same time carried out their task with great dedication. The tent smelled of magic and love. It was amazing. It is worth adding that the older twin looked at Hermione, who was blushing almost all the time. Those watching from the side might have assumed that Fred was singing for a lovely girl. Bill and Fleur, on the other hand, danced gracefully without taking their eyes off each other.
La: Hermione! Fred is looking at you all the time.
He: You think.
A: She doesn't think anything! He is eating you with his eyes! It's almost like singing this song for you!
He: Stop it!
G: I wonder what Bill promised them for this performance. They haven't played together in years!
A: This is not their first show ?!
G: No, until their sophomore year at Hogwarts, they regularly took part in music classes, but when jokes took over their lives, they quit. They have always had tremendous talent.
A: Wow, I'm shocked!
After a while the song ended. The participants of the event began to applaud the young couple and the brothers, who did a fantastic job. The twins bowed to the audience in a characteristic way. The guests thought it was over, but Fred picked up the microphone. There were lights in his eyes that usually heralded a new plan or plot.
F: Thank you! And now, as a bonus from us, one more song! We invite everyone to dance.
The redheads laughed sincerely and then started playing You're my Heart by Modern Tolking. They tried to imitate the artists, but it didn't work out, quite the opposite. They were terrible but had a great time doing it. After all, they were themselves! They combine music and jokes, which is what they love the most. The guests went out onto the dance floor. Even Mad-Eye Moody started dancing with distant Aunt Fleur. Hermione was immediately kidnapped to dance by Viktor Krum, who had been watching the girl for a long time. He didn't care about her anymore, but he still treated her like a friend. Fred noticed this, unfortunately, he immediately became sad and jealous. He only agreed to this performance because he wanted to impress Hermione. He liked her so much. During the performance, he couldn't take his eyes off her. She was beautiful and perfect for him, but he realized that he had hurt her a lot, so he needed time for her to trust him.
After the performance was over, the twins left the stage. George walked over to Angelina, who immediately threw herself on his neck and dragged him onto the dance floor. The other twin, on the other hand, sat down at the table, then began sipping Fire Whiskey. He watched as the brown-haired girl played with the Bulgarian. He waited for them to stop dancing so that he could take action himself. At least, he wanted to talk to her. In the end, trust is regained in small steps, but in their case it is built from scratch. After two hours, the tired Hermione sat down at the table. She opened a bottle of creamy beer, then drank it greedily. Fred smiled at her. He wasn't drunk, he was careful not to make another blunder. The girl returned the smile.
F: And how are you having fun?
He: Good, and you? Why aren't you dancing?
F: Yes, it worked out somehow. The girl I want to dance with is busy. (He was talking about Hermione, but she didn't figure it out.)
He: I'm sorry. I thought you were coming with Katie? Everyone says you are towards each other. (The words hurt her, but she tried to hide it. She wanted to keep appearances.)
F: Yeah ... Rather, it won't work. Where's Ernie? After all, you are ... a couple?
He: We aren't together. We are friends, nothing more. We learn well together.
F: Got it. It's nice that you have someone to hang out with in the library.
He: I didn't know you play guitar and sing.
F: You don't know a lot about me yet, baby.
There was an awkward silence, although overall the conversation was quite stiff. They were both very tense. Fred tried not to make any blunders, and Hermione refused to show that she cared. They couldn't relax in each other's company. The young witch started looking frantically around the room. She noticed Victor flirting with Cousin Fleur. She smiled to herself. Fred watched her all the time. Suddenly, the band started to play the girl's favorite song, who was gently bouncing her foot to the rhythm of the music.
F: Maybe we'll dance?
He: I don't know if that's a good idea ...
F: Good. After all, we are at a wedding, and you have to have fun at it! It's just one dance for a quick song. Please. I promise not to do anything stupid.
He: Good, but only one dance.
The boy grabbed the girl's hand and led her to the dance floor, at that moment a nice current passed over her body. She was in cloud nine when he touched her. They started dancing and fooling around together. The song was fast and lively. Fred turned out to be a great dancer, just like he said. He was definitely better than George and Ron. He would be a professional dancer. They started laughing at themselves. The redhead was happy that he could fool around with her, be next to her. He wanted to hug her and never let her go, but he didn't. He didn't want to lose her again. After a while the song ended. Hermione tried to walk away, but the twin gripped her hand tighter. A slow ballad about love began. The boy was looking at her with the doggy's eyes, begging her to agree to one more dance. The teenager moved closer to him after a while, then they returned to the slow jerks. They swayed slowly and subtly to the beat of the music. It was great together. Centimeters separated them. They looked deeply into each other's eyes. They wanted to kiss each other but didn't. They did not want to go beyond certain limits. Their friends were watching with a smile on their faces.
Ge: You still want to implement our plan?
G: We don't have to. They can handle themselves. Our task is to make sure that they do not deviate from this path.
Ge: It's for a fight, sister! (He gave his sister a high five).
The wedding lasted until late at night. Hermione and Fred danced, a few more times, but nothing else happened between them. Later they joined the fun with their friends. They laughed and fooled around until morning in their company. They were all happy because they could be themselves. The next evening, they were back at Hogwarts using Floo powder. Tired students immediately went to their dormitories.
