G: Morons! You have to help me!

F: What do you want? If you haven't noticed, we're in the middle of a sharp exchange of views.

G: I don't care about your quarrel... Or rather, your indignation at the fact that George is right. We have a bigger problem! (George smirked at Fred as the other twin pretended to be a scowl).

Ge: What? Tell me little sister what we can do for you?

G: I will go crazy with you! Hermione has been helping Ernie with potions for almost a month, because he is supposed to be so weak at this item.

Ge: So what?

G: It's a moron to lie to her. I spoke to Hanna Abbott after the last meeting of Dumbledore's Army, she said that Macmillan was tutoring her in Potions because she doesn't understand it and if I want. She can arrange it for me, too, because she has heard about my issues with this subject.

Fred was furious when he heard his sister's words. Him again! He really thought he had made it clear last time when he belonged. He was supposed to keep his downy paws away from Hermione. Is it so hard? He tried to hide his emotion, but was not good at it. His lips formed a narrow ruler and his muscles tense, making the shape of his muscles visible through the white shirt he was wearing. Practicing Quidditch for almost six years has produced impressive results. His body was perfectly sculpted, as was his twin. The fourth year Gryffindor girls sighed at the sight and made George roll his eyes.

F: He doesn't understand English when I tell him to get away from her?! I guess it's time to meet my fist!

Ge: Look, your summer threats don't impress him anymore! So stop your aggression. They are unnecessary.

F: Unfortunately, he forgot about those from the holidays, which forced me to talk to him before Bill's wedding. (Ginny looked at him with murder in her eyes). Don't look at me like this! I was extremely calm. It was an ordinary conversation

G: Better talk! What did you tell him?!

Under pressure, Fred briefed his siblings in detail from his recent conversation with Macmillan. Fury flashed across George's face. His idiot brother lost his temper again. He understood that he was in love, but by acting like a ragged brat, he would get nothing. He really hoped it would mature eventually. They have joint plans for the future regarding their work. The redhead, despite the fact that the twin is everything to him, he had concerns about whether he would be responsible in the future. Recently, he had shown him every day that, not necessarily! He had hoped his relationship with Hermione would temper him, but he must have been wrong. Of course, he wasn't a saint himself, and jokes are his middle name, but he knew when to be serious, and a copy of it was quite the opposite.

G: Are you crazy ?! How could you?!

Ge: You twisted old man! I did not expect this from you!

F: What do you mean again ?! I just gently let him know that when he was hitting on Hermione, he would use all my power to make him pay for it.

G: You're a retard that you gave him a challenge. You both like it, so whoever manages to hit her will win. It's cruel and true. By threatening him, you have violated his pride and honor. He's a Hufflepuff, and they're righteous, so if you've hurt her, you don't deserve her, just him. At the moment he's doing everything he can to get closer to Hermione, and apart from a few incidents, you're not trying at all. He must have thought of the lessons after your threats. This is a great excuse to get closer to her.

Ge: And he's doing great. They see each other almost every day and talk normally. You either avoid it or you are mean. Feelings are not everything, you have to be able to show them. And you're not even trying to get to know Hermione better. Just because she's been in our family for six years, doesn't mean that you learn everything about her.

F: Fuck! This was not what it was supposed to look like! I just hate it when he hangs around her. I don't think rationally then.

Ge: It's called jealousy, little brother! What are we gonna do now?

G: How's what? Hermione needs to know the truth, but she just won't believe me. We need all three of us to talk honestly with her, but Ernie can't be there. I'd like her to come to Quidditch practice the day after tomorrow, and we'll talk to her after that! (She pointed a finger at Fred). And you think hard before you say or do anything!

Ginny hurried away, and George followed. They both went to their dormitories. Fred left alone by the fireplace in the Common Room. He sat down in the armchair and remembered how he had recently sat in it with Hermione hugging him. He looked at the fire and smiled to himself. It was the best feeling in the world to have her in your arms. He wanted to feel it every day. Unfortunately, he broke everything again, but this time unknowingly. He really just wanted to separate Hermione from Ernie, and the opposite happened... He brought them together. What hurt him badly! George was right. He didn't strive for her at all, and their relationship improved thanks to a few instances that were due to joint attraction rather than specific actions. Furious, he went for a walk on the grounds. While smoking a cigarette, he had an idea of how to get to Hermione. It's that simple... Why hadn't he figured it out before? He hoped the girl would agree. Thanks to this, they will be able to spend the whole evening together. The boy had been watching the dark-hair girl for years, thanks to which he knew her very well, but he wanted to understand her thoughts and desires.

Two days later, for the first time in a long time, the sun shone over the Hogwarts grounds. Hermione, as always, got up very early to get ready for a day full of activities. She was currently eating breakfast alone at the Gryffindor table. She liked to look at the almost empty Great Hall. Then she felt special and happy, as if she had found her place in the world. Although, in fact, it was so. After a long moment, Ginny joined her.

G: Hello Hermione! I've been looking for you everywhere!

He: Hey! What happened?

G: Partly yes ... Today is Quidditch training and I would love you to come.

He: Why? You train three times a week.

G: Today is unique. Angelina is going to choose the squad for the post-Christmas match against the Slytherin.

He: I understand, but why is he already selecting the squad, this match will be held in over a month

G: I want selected people to have more training. Please come, I need your support. You are my best friend! I am begging you!

He: Okay, I'll try, but I don't promise anything.

G: Sure, and after training, could we talk honestly?

He: Of course, but about what?

G: I'll tell you later. I am in a hurry to Care of Magical Creatures.

The day passed very quickly without much drama. The Gryffindor team began to gather in the dressing room, as in fifteen minutes the important training was to begin. Smiling, Hermione left Professor McGonagall's class because she scored extra points for Gryffindor. She began to head to the exit of the castle. She didn't want to disappoint her friend and come to training. It didn't matter that Fred was also there. Okay it mattered! The girl could not forget about him, about that wonderful evening, when she lay cuddled up to him. She felt so good then. She knew she was safe and happy. She wanted to feel it every day, unfortunately the spell was broken. The redhead started to move away from her, and what was worse, she saw him in the company of other girls who flirted with him. That hurts! She really cared about him. Just as she was about to leave the castle, Ernie stopped her.

E: Here you are, and I've been looking for you everywhere!

He: What happened, Ernie? We had an appointment for tomorrow.

E: Yes, I know, but I have a huge pressing matter for you. Can we go somewhere and talk quietly?

He: I don't really have time. I promised Ginny I'd come to training.

E: Please, it will only take a moment. I need to talk to you. Please don't refuse me.

He: Eh... I don't know.

E: Don't be asked! This will take a maximum of fifteen minutes!

He: All right.

Ernie grabbed the girl's hand and started leading her towards the Astronomy Tower. They were now at the far end of the castle, and it would only take them twenty minutes to get there. He wasn't going to take her that far, but he didn't want her to go to Gryffindor training because it meant meeting Fred. The boy would do anything to talk the redhead out of her head. If Hermione didn't make it to training, he guessed, not only would Ginny be angry, but the rest of the Weasley too. He hoped to cause an argument between them. He really couldn't understand what the girl had seen in this bunch of freaks. She'd be better off with him. Surprised, brown haired woman followed the boy, not understanding where he was leading her. After a long while, they reach the top of the tower.

He: Why did you bring me here? We are at the other end of the castle!

E: I know, but I like to come here. From here there is an amazing view of the forbidden forest.

He: You're right. What you wanted to talk about?

E: I wanted to talk to you about the upcoming Christmas ball.

He: I don't understand?

E: I thought ... I know, that we are friends, but since I have no one to go with and you too, maybe we will go together? Together, we will be better. It guarantees you great fun.

He: The ball is almost a month away, why are you inviting me already?

E: I don't want to wait too long with that. Of course, this isn't a date. I suggest you go there as friends. How do you agree?

He: For sure, only friends?

E: Yes, of course! However, if you change your mind and want it to be a date, a word is enough. Remember!

He: Then I agree. Let us go as friends. (She smiled sincerely).
