Luna Loud was nervous as she was sitting in the office of Principal Ramirez along with her unhappy parents as the Principal was talking about how she had been falling behind in her classes; it was just that lately she had been late at night at concerts as well as listening to music instead of studying and it caused her to start falling asleep in classes. Along with the usual chaos of the Loud House, she had let her schoolwork slipped so she may have to start going to remedial classes or even Summer School.

Principal Ramirez brought up to her parents at her alternative extra credit assignments which included a big sibling program for children. "There is one child in particular I have been told needing the program: a child who could use the support and distraction from the messy ongoing divorce of his parents." Principal Ramirez told her and Luna instantly said that she would take him.

Making sure that she can make up on her schoolwork as well as helping a kid who needed help, it sounded great.

Lincoln Lyman sighed as he was on his bed reading the latest Ace Savvy comic having mastered the art of drowning out the loud sounds of his parents arguing with eachother. Usually he was mostly left to himself and having to keep at bay, not that he was hated by his parents but they didn't want him anywhere near their arguments which were quite often and often quality time with them turned into a competition into who could be a better parent. It was why he preferred to keep to himself while in the house or hanging out with his friends or even finding some activity to do by himself which included volunteering at the animal shelter.

They were finally getting a divorce which seemed long overdue (even their marriage counsellor long ago considered them a lost cause) and Lincoln often wondered if they ever even liked eachother, (even their smiles in the wedding photo seemed strained). The decision was made months ago and there was as much progress now in getting it settled as there had been at the start which was quite clear if you listened to their bickering:

"Lincoln came out of me so I have more right to him!"

"All his school events and conventions were provided by my paycheck!"

"How do i know you won't lose him for a 4th time!"

"How do I know that you won't have his leg broken by another accident?"

The doorbell rang and their arguing continued up until they had both answered the door, they both had mastered the act of hiding their hostility around strangers. Lincoln was then called downstairs by his parents and was surprised to find the cheerful looking rocker girl.

"Hi there dude, you must be Lincoln! I'm Luna and I'm going to be the most rockin' big sister ever!" Luna greeted Lincoln excitedly overwhelming him as he definitely didn't expect the big sister in this program to be like her.

Lincoln started showing Luna to his room and she grew concerned as his parents gotten back to arguing, "You get used to it." Lincoln told her simply surprising her and then put on his best smile. "I hope that this won't be any trouble for you, coming here to be a big sister to a boy you don't know..." Lincoln told her but was surprised as she laughed and pulled him closer.

"Helping a boy in need is no trouble at all, I have all the experience being a big sister to my 7 younger sisters and I always did wonder what it would be like to have a brother. In a way we are both helping eachother." Luna told him letting go as he was amazed.

They reached the door of Lincoln's room as he asked "wait, you have 7 sisters?"

"Oh no 9, I have 2 older ones. The Loud House is quite a big family." Luna clarified for him as Lincoln wondered how her parents could afford a family so big. Lincoln showed her to the room and she looked at the posters and said "cool you like those superhero comics and... SMOOCH?"

"My favourite band and I take it that you are a fan?" Lincoln asked and she nodded.

"I love rock and roll and the very best of them all is Mick Swagger. Have you heard him before?" Luna asked she looked like someone had told her that they don't know how to breathe as Lincoln shook his head. "That is clearly something that needs to be fixed." Luna told him and Lincoln had a funny feeling about that.

Soon during their sessions Lincoln was enjoying his time with Luna and it was helping him through the drawn out divorce of his parents. Lincoln was now being driven by his parents to Luna's home and was looking out the window and his eyes widened when he recognised the street, "Dad, are you sure you know where we are going? Isn't this where Clyde lives?" Lincoln asked thinking about his best friend and his mother went to face him.

"It seems that Luna lives next door to the McBrides." She replied to him much to his surprise. They went out and Clyde having noticed the car went to greet him and said that he was there for the sibling program session at Luna's house.

"Wait your Luna is Luna Loud as in Lori's sister?" Clyde asked him much to Lincoln's surprise as he knew all too well how crushing hard he had on his neighbour despite the fact that she was much older than him and had a boyfriend from what Clyde had told him.

"Lincoln, what are you doing at my home?" asked Lana as she was rolling in the mud and Lincoln jumped at seeing the energetic girl who was a fellow volunteer at the animal shelter. "Wait, are you Luna's new brother? This is great, I am going to get her and Sam!" she said at once realising it as she ran inside and Lincoln was overwhelmed as he was walking to the door with his parents.

So it seemed that Lana as well as Lori were among Luna's sisters, then the door opened as Lana had dragged a protesting Luna and Sam out as well. "Sam? Are you Luna's sister as well? I thought your last name was Sharp?" Lincoln asked but stopped when he remembered something, at times Sam would mention stuff about her girlfriend like her being into rock and roll just like her.

"No way, you're Lincoln is my Lincoln? I wish I had known beforehand otherwise I would have insisted on helping you from the beginning." Sam told Luna wide eyed as Luna laughed.

"Lincoln, Sam is my girlfriend and she said she would be helping out, come on I will help you get to my room safely." Luna told him much to his shock as she showed him up the stairs and to her room, she then opened the door and a pail of water and out came who Lincoln recognised as Luan the girl who performed as an entertainer for his last birthday party. "Luan, I told you that the little brah doesn't need your pranking since he has a less than stellar situation at his own home!" Luna told Luan sternly and her eyes widened as she recognised Lincoln.

"Sorry about that..." Luan sheepishly told him as she then left as Lincoln remembered that she had noticed his parents almost ready to kill eachother and had quietly gave Lincoln the money that she had been paid with as well as the piece of cake offered to him.

"This is a bit much, I wonder how you would even survive living here." Lincoln muttered as Luna laughed as she said that she would tell him all about it. Luna looking at the boy knew that she would definitely have to keep going in the program as technically this was the last session she actually needed to do for the extra credit points that she needs.
