Lincoln Sharp was feeling better than he had been for a while, he had been bullied by this girl called Ronnie Anne and he had classmates mock him for and he got beaten up by her after she caught him finally let it all out about how he doesn't like her. Their parents got involved after that and Lincoln was told to come and see them or the Principal if she causes further trouble, the girl had been grounded and warned to stay away from him by her mother. He got a lecture from Sam his older sister telling him to not be afraid to come to her or their parents about being picked on like this.

She brought him and their younger brother Simon to the arcade with Lincoln given 5 bucks Sam's treat to go wild. Lincoln now had Simon with him as they were waiting to try the new remastered version of one of Lincoln's favourite games at the arcade: Demon Buster II. "Are you worried Lincoln about the Ronnie Anne girl?" Simon asked Lincoln and he scoffed.

"She messes with me again and she gets it from the school and her Mum. Trust me Simon, my troubles relating to her are over..." Lincoln told him as there were gamers making away in fright as there was an angry blonde teenager pushing past them and picked up Lincoln throwing him at some machines. Simon screamed as he went and screamed to get Sam to tell them about the psycho girl after Lincoln. Lincoln looked up and recognised the girl from photos that his best friend Clyde had shown him, Lori his neighbour who she had a crush on. "Aren't you Lori?" Lincoln asked as Clyde always talk about her being an angel but right now she looked more a devil.

"Yes and aren't you the 'Lame-O' who broke Ronnie Anne's heart!" Lori replied and Lincoln was shocked to find that this girl used the nickname that Ronnie Anne used on him and apparently knew her. "She is my boyfriend's sister and I have been encouraging her to act on her feelings for a while only to find out that you were being a jerk about her to her friends and I knew I had to track you down from the places where she said that you would be found. I wonder what she could have seen in an idiot like you!" Lori told him and Lincoln stared at her in disbelief.

"Broke her heart? She had been picking on me for weeks; I have had sloppy joes in my pants!" Lincoln retorted and Lori shook her head.

"You idiot, a girl picks on a boy means that they like you!" Lori screamed at him using the same logic that Sam told Lincoln was completely bull**** (with Lincoln swearing that he wouldn't tell their parents that she said it) and just juvenile thinking when his friends suggested that. "Now we are going to discuss how you are going to make it up to her or else I turn you into a human pretzel!" Lori told him picking him up by his shirt only for Sam to come up from behind angrily taking her wrist causing her to drop Lincoln.

"I have a counter offer: we both talk about how you make it up to my brother for that!" Sam told her and Lori glared at her but there was Simon coming up to him to check on him and then there was to Lincoln's surprise Luna who was Sam's best friend and crush.

"Wait Lincoln? Are you alright?" Luna asked and then she turned to see Lori who was having a glaring contest with Sam. "Lori, what did you do to him?" Luna asked her and Lori shook her head.

"He had it coming being mean to Ronnie Anne like that! I was at Bobby's house when we heard his sister crying in her room and I swore to her and Bobby that I would fix things! You should have seen her, she was heartbroken!" Lori told her and this caused Sam to look on in disbelief and then even angrier.

"Oh boo-hoo, the little bully is sad that her victim doesn't like her!" Sam said in a mock sad voice gaining Lori's fury. "You should have seen Lincoln, Luna! All his bruises and black eyes that he had been sneaking into my rockstar make up kits to try and hide! I only wanted to give the bully a piece of my mind but Mum and Dad told me that they would take care of this. You are saying HE was the bad guy for not taking it and that he should have known that his bully was picking on him because she liked him and it would not have been a healthy relationship anyway!" Sam told him with a glare as she helped Lincoln up.

"Come on guys, let's go home and I will treat you all back here some other time." Sam told Lincoln as Luna came up to them.

"Lincoln, Sam I so sorry about how my sister acted! I admit that I was on Lori's side when she was gleeful about finding out her boyfriend's sister had a crush but finding out the reality was that my best pal's brother was being hurt by her..." Luna told them apologetically as Sam shook her head.

"Don't sweat it Luna, how about you help me get my brother home. Our folks will want to talk to your folks when they hear about this." Sam told her and they reached the door when Lori angrily began following. However she was stopped by a security guard as there was the angry manager pointing to the busted arcade machines that she had threw Lincoln into making her gulp.

"Looks like Lori will be in more trouble now." Luna remarked and Lincoln smiled thinking about his cool sister had a just as cool future girlfriend even if her sister was scary.

I admit that I am a sucker for fics that have a friendship with Lincoln and Sam or have them as honorary siblings with the best one that I can find being Only One Afternoon by TheHeartofLavender though it has my fave Loud sister Luna taking the jerkass ball.
