Done a oneshot like this before.

17 year old Lincoln Loud was finishing up with his final class for the day with most of the classmates squealing about the upcoming Prom. His best friend Bobby Santiago next to him looked and saw Carol Pingrey the most popular girl in the whole high school looking at Lincoln. Bobby then pointed to her while looking at Lincoln who sighed and said "Bobby, I am sure that I am the last person she would want to go to Prom with. She is like super popular and I am the weird guy who reads comics and likes ghosts. I am better off just staying at home for Prom."

Bobby shook his head, Lincoln was practically his bro and was so smart in a lot of areas but when it came to Carol crushing on him, his head became so thick you would break a military grade drill on it. He could understand not seeing Bobby's little sister Ronnie Anne crushing on her since she insulted him a lot but when it came to Carol.

"Lincoln, she has been crushing on you ever since we both remember." Bobby told him speaking as if he was trying to explain that 2 and 2 equalled 4.

"What evidence do you have?" Lincoln asked and Bobby was open mouthed:

11 year old Lincoln had seen Carol having her friends gush about the medal that she had won selling the most cookies in her scout troop. "Well done Carol." Lincoln said with a smile as Carol was red faced.

Lincoln and Carol was partnered for a parental egg project and had gotten an A for it, "You would make a great mum someday Carol." Lincoln told her and she blushed.

The previous month Carol was freaking out telling her friends that she had misplaced her diary in the school, "Carol, I think this was yours as I found it in the library." Lincoln told her and she squealed as she got it back. "Plus I think you got our surnames mixed up." Lincoln told her as Carol was red in the face with her friends snickering as she had signed the diary on the cover as belonging to Carol Loud as in to practice what will hopefully be her future signature.

Lincoln was exiting the classroom with Bobby only to be met with Leni and Luan, "Lincoln I thought that it was like such a nice gesture but still you may not like it too much. Can you please promise that you won't be too harsh on Luna." Leni said and Lincoln didn't like where this was heading.

He then saw his 3rd sister who was at the high school with him Luna along with her band as they started a song with their instruments out in the hall as Lincoln's class watched. Luna began singing that this was a message from her brother and it was directed to Carol, asking her to go to Prom with him much to his horror.

Before he could say anything Carol was jumping in joy saying "off course! You didn't need to be shy Lincoln but this was a sweet gesture!" Lincoln was pulled into a hug and saw the cheering classmates and students in the hall with him knowing that turning her down now would forever destroy his reputation in school.

She let go as Luna went up to Lincoln patting him on the shoulder saying "don't worry about thanking me brah..." Lincoln was now slowly becoming red in the face with annoyance and steam in his ears making Luna run away.

Bobby sighed as it was time to enact the Lincoln Is Mad At His Sisters For a Stunt Protocol, he then called his mother saying "you think that Lincoln can come over for a while, I don't think it would be safe for his sisters to be at home before he cools down." His mother understood as this was not the first time such a situation had happened.

It was the night of the Prom and Luna grounded by their parents for the stunt was spending the time playing checkers with the family's middle child Lori, "I literally don't know why you thought this was a good idea. You know him longer than I did and while I agree it's stupid off him to think that he's not good enough for any girl, there was no way he was going to accept this." Lori told her and Luna was undeterred.

She had heard that later Lincoln had managed to get Carol alone to explain that Luna had done it without his permission, she was sad by this and admitted that she would understand if he wanted to cancel but he decided to go through with it. Might be a good time and Carol was a wonderful girl.

"It was for his own good, Lincoln has done so much for us all and he deserves all the happiness he can get." Luna replied thinking that how Lincoln went with her to her first concert which made her love rock and roll, supporting her and her dreams. The door opened and they saw Lincoln go through the door in his tuxedo and the Prom King crown much to the joy of his parents as they went to ask him how it went.

"It was great, Carol helped me with the dance and I knew she would be Prom Queen but I didn't expect to be King as I didn't put my name down..." Lincoln replied and he was then red in the face refusing to answer as Rita asked if they kissed.

"You totally literally did kiss her, didn't you!" Lori shouted out as all the other sisters came rushing down the stairs crowding Lincoln demanding details.

Not a fan of changing ages for ships but think it would work with this AU, plus I admit that I have grown to like the Total Loud Island version of Lincoln with Dawn in the story.
