It had been a few days since Violet was born and she was currently sitting on the kitchen table watching as Stephanie and Jade were having a friendly duel. Stephanie grinned to her sister taking two cards, "Okay Jade, here's this! Xyz Summon, Madolche Puddingcess Chocolat-a-la-Mode!"
She placed the monster on the mat.
"That isn't good." Jade frowned.
"And now Puddingcess sends back Salon while my Chaetau adds it to my hand, and I activate Salon." Stephanie grinned to her.
"Oh you two dueling?" Atem asked walking in.
"Yeah, we're showing Violet the game." Jade nodded. "Right little sis?"
Violet turned to Jade before giggling and clapping seeing her big sister.
"I see." Atem chuckled hearing that, "So what's going on now?"
Jade sighed. "Now, Puddingcess Chocolat-a-la-Mode beats me."
Atem chuckled hearing that, "As always Madolche is tough to beat if it recylces it's resources."
"Yeah, you have a point." Riley mentioned walking up behind him and kissing his cheek.
"Hey beautiful." Atem smiled to her at that.
She smiled softly at that as the rest of the family walked into the kitchen.
"So is it your turn?" Rose asked Riley.
Riley chuckled at that. "What do you think Atem, tonight good for you?"
"Of course." Atem smiled at that, "If that's what ya like."
Riley smiled. "It's a date then."
"That aside I wonder what kind of Duelist, Violet will be." Atem admitted turning to his now youngest child.
"We'll have to wait and see." Rose admitted picking her up. "Lunch time Violet."
Violet smiled before reaching to Rose's chest. Rose sighed softly holding her to her chest before turning to Atem. "Oh that's right, there was a letter for you."
"There was?" Atem asked blinking, "Who's it from?"
"I didn't open it." Rose admitted.
Atem nodded before heading over opening the letter checking to see. Atem read the letter before smiling to himself, "Why not. Been a while since we done one together."
"What is it dad?" Timmy asked curiously.
"Uncle Yuto is challenging me." Atem explained with a smile.
"Uncle Yuto, wow." Timmy smiled.
"He said he has new cards which also augmented well with Shay's Raidraptors, and was able to beat him." Atem admitted to them.
"That sounds like it could be fun, give us a minute to get dressed and then we can head over." Riley smiled only for Samantha to blush before running to her room.
"Sammy?" Andy asked seeing that.
She paused and blushed. "Um... I was talking to Skye yesterday about... something."
"Is this about your new modeling?" Andy asked.
She shook her head. "Um... it was about... a way people who are dating can duel... sometimes."
"Well don't let me stop you sis." Andy smiled to her.
She nodded walking into her room.
A few minutes later...
The Family appeared in Heartland City after getting dressed.
Violet looked around in excitement at the bright colors and lights.
"Oh yeah, she hasn't been to the Xyz Dimension yet." Cole recalled.
"Well now she can." Atem smiled seeing Violet's excitement, "This is one of the five worlds we live with Violet, and this is the Xyz Dimension named after the summoning method Xyz Summoning which you seen several of us use. This place is called Heartland City it's capital."
She didn't seem to hear him as she looked around in excitement.
"Ah I'll tell her later." Atem chuckled.
"We all will." Rose agreed with a smile.
"Come on let's find Yuto." Atem smiled to them as they looked around.
Eventually they found him with Shay at a nearby park.
"Yuto! Shay!" Atem called with a smile waving.
"Doing good. Violet has been a good girl." Rose smiled holding her daughter.
"Oh is that right?" Shay asked. "Sounds like someone deserves a present."
"What do you got in mind?" Riley asked him curiously.
"A stuffed toy, we'll talk with Lulu and figure out something." Shay answered.
"Well Yuto, I got your challenge." Atem smiled to Yuto.
"It's been a while so I figured why not?" Yuto grinned. "Of course I don't plan on going easy on you."
Atem nodded as they all arrived at a square for their match.
"Watch Violet, daddy's about to show you how he's super strong." Andy smiled.
Violet watched in awe.

"Yeah, do you think other decks could do that too?" Cole asked curiously.
"Maybe, we can ask Declan about it." Riley smiled.
"Well here's a new one." Yuto grinned, "I activate Raider's Knight's ability! By using an Overlay Unit, I can rebuild the Overlay Network with it to summon an Xyz Dragon, Raidraptor, or Phantom Knight that's rank is 1 higher or 1 lower."
"Wait what?" Atem asked blinking.
"That... wow." Rose whispered in awe.
"Uncle Yuto's amazing isn't he Violet?" Samantha asked with a smile causing Violet to giggle happily.
Raider's Knight entered the Overlay Network as Yuto grinned, "Darkest Cloud to call it's foolish enemies! Use your treacherous fangs to spark fear to your enemies with your blood-soaked talons! Rank-Up Xyz Change! Rank 5, Arc Rebellion Xyz Dragon!"
At that a huge dragon different then Dark Requiem appeared roaring loud.

"Looks like dad has a pretty good chance to turn the duel around." Jade mentioned.

"Well that nearly got the crowd to my opponent's stead but this is still the fiendish performance! My turn!" Atem grinned drawing looking before calling, "And now I use the Pendulum Scale with Scale 8 Okojiki, and Scale 3 Kiyoki!"

She nodded at that before her eyes widened. "Who's this cutie?"
"This is Violet." Rose smiled, "Our new daughter."
"Hi Violet, you're super cute." Sally smiled causing Violet to giggle happily.
"I honestly always can't believe how big your getting Sally." Atem admitted with a smile as he, and Yuto walked over.
Sally blushed but smiled at that.
"Are you now 15?" Andy asked curiously.
"Yeah, I am." she nodded.
"Well your dad nearly got me on his second turn." Atem admitted, "He, and Shay sure had gotten stronger since those cards augmented both their Decks."
"That's true, Arc Rebellion is amazing." Lulu nodded.
"Oh Atem?" Riley asked him.
"Yeah?" Atem asked turning to her with a smile.
"I think Violet wants to see Ashley's card again." she told him.
Hearing that Atem blinked before summoning Noble Archfiend. Violet reached for the monster again. Atem smiled, "Yeah she likes the card. Auntie Ashley is always around even after death."
"True, she is." Rose agreed with a smile.
"Still..." Atem sighed, "I wish she would be here right now seeing how far I gotten... If I can bring her here, and now somehow."
"If only that were possible, but you know she would be proud of the man you've become." Shay told him.
Atem smiled softly with closed eyes hearing that before saying, "I'll be back."
He walked off transporting somewhere.
Later...
He walked to Ashley's grave with a bouquet placing it down saying to her, "Auntie... I know you will be proud but... I just wish you can be here right now... Alive, and well with me, Naoto, and everyone else..."
"Atem?"
Hearing that he looked over. A very pregnant Naoto was behind him with some flowers. "I suppose I should have expected you to be here."
Atem rose up admitting, "I was wishing that she would be here with us right now... If only I could've saved her from back then."
"You were just a child, there wasn't anything you could have done." Naoto frowned before hugging him. "I'm sorry Atem."
Atem hugged her back.
"How is your family doing?" she inquired.
"We're doing good. Violet was born a few days ago, and I just had a match with Yuto. He had new cards that connects with Shay's Cards, and nearly took me out in one move." Atem answered looking at Noble Archfiend.
"Nearly taking you out implies you still emerged victorious?" Naoto guessed.
Atem nodded simply.
"I'm not surprised." Naoto chuckled before wincing.
Atem looked concerned seeing that taking Naoto's shoulder, and left arm carefully, "You okay?"
"I'm ok, it's just close to the due date." Naoto answered. "It took some time but Souji and I are... well as you can see we're expecting."
Atem nodded hearing that, "So what's it gonna be?"
"A girl." Naoto replied.
Atem nodded hearing that.
Meanwhile in the High Heavens, Tyrael ever since Diablo's attack was stopped had been observing Atem's life, and was watching figuring out his past. He was high regards for him that he wants to repay him however he can, and from finding out about Naoto he figures to try to also repay her as well. All this time he can't think of what but he soon gets an idea he told a Angel Guard, "Find a Spirit here named Ashley James, and bring her to me."
The Guard nodded flying off as Tyrael turned back to the wayward pond seeing the two humans talking to each other. Soon he heard footsteps entering as he said not turning around, "So you must be Atem's Aunt."
"Yes, you wanted me?" Ashley asked curiously.
Ashley hasn't changed much obviously but now has a halo over her head to show she's deceased.
Tyrael mentioned her over gesturing to wayward pond allowing her to see both Atem, and Naoto together in front of her grave. Seeing them Ashley's eyes widened and she put a hand over her heart.
"All this time ever since Diablo had been stopped, and the things he had endured along with her journey through the Shadow Realm I tried figuring a way how to repay them for their efforts... But I finally have an idea how." Tyrael explained it to her.
"You do?" Ashley asked him.
"Yes... Normally we don't do this but since their are a special case, I am willing to make an exception. Allow you to spend 1 day with them." Tyrael revealed to her.
Ashley's eyes widened before looking back. "Could... could I pick the day?"
"Of course." Tyrael answered, "When would you like it?"
She closed her eyes. "When Naoto's child is born, and she's recovered."
"Hmm..." Tyrael looked over as they listened in.
"So when is the due date?" they hear Atem asked Naoto after making sure she's alright.
"Assuming everything goes according to plan, ten days from now." Naoto answered calmly. "Of course it could be a few days earlier or later."
Atem nodded before turning to the grave, "Auntie Ashley... I hope you are seeing us now from where you are. Just know me, and Naoto will always love you as both a daughter, and a nephew... And we wish you would be here with us."
With that said the two walked off from the grave as the pond dispelled the image. Ashley wiped tears from her eyes at that.
"If it comes to the thought you can always request that. It's what we can do for their deeds." Tyrael told her.
She nodded. "Just... tell me when the time comes, and thank you."
Tyrael nodded as Ashley headed out.
Back in the Mortal Realm...
Atem walked with Naoto talking to her, "And Adachi? Has anything happened with him?"
"He's still in custody, though it's entirely possible he'll be released soon." Naoto answered calmly.
"Well if he is released then we will be ready for him if things get wrong again." Atem admitted, "At least for you, and the Investigation Team to do."
"Actually, he's been a model prisoner and Souji trusts he's a changed man." Naoto pointed out.
"Well still we can't be too careful." Atem admitted, "Maybe take him to a tour here in Paradise City or so."
Naoto nodded. "Perhaps."
