"Yes I am, so is Lily. I can sense that you are one as well. I know that as soon as we shook hands." I smiled and looked at my wrist to see that Dray's initial's had been dimmed and Kurt's were darker; under the letters was a heart shaped lock
"Yea I am a veela, and like you I have your initials and heart shaped key. Harry I have to ask, are you a carrier? My inner veela is pulling me to you; but you must know that as you are my forever mate- you won't be able to be away from me for long periods of time or you will become sick. How long ago was drays passing? We will have to fully bond as soon as possible. I know this is happening fast but who are we to go against lady magic and I won't have you getting Sub sickness?" The handsome blue eyed healer explained.
"I am a carrier; But I don't know how I could be your forever mate. I was under the impression that people could only have one lifetime that I met you I am sure to have one anytime. I haven't had a heat since my Dray's death and that was about seven months ago. But honestly I feel fine"
Kurt, placed his hand in mine, and smiled. "Harry, I don't doubt that Draco was your mate, but I think that he was not your one true mate. There is many types of soulmates I believe that he was a best-friend soulmate that blossomed into more. I can run a scan that could tell us for sure or we could just leave it." He told me.
"This is just so much to take in, I still love dray he was there for me when no one else was. Nothing will change that, please do the scan." I just had to know. He took out a special paper and pricked my left ring finger the placed two drops of blood on the paper. The paper glowed as printing appeared and Kurt read it;

"This is absolutely much to take in, but who am I to defy the faits." I gave a grin.
"Don't worry I will help you through need to know that I have a year six old son, I adopted two years ago. Long story short, I had been working in the children's wing of St Mungo's when the Aurors brought him in. his family had been killed by rouge death-eaters. They should have been caught by now; I felt such a deep connection to Andy that I contacted a worker that was in charge of his case. I believe that her name was Ginny Longbottom. Anyway she drew up the needed papers and here we are two years later." Kurt moves closer.
"I know her she is one of my best friends, well her and her twin brothers are the closest thing to family I have. Everyone else turned their backs when I found out that Dray was my mate." Closing the distance between us, our foreheads touched.
Our veela's screaming at us to kiss, we couldn't hold back any longer. Kurt placed his hand on the back of my head and planted a loving, passionate kiss on my lips. All I could do was to melt into the kiss and kiss back with everything I had. We broke the kiss when I felt a tug on my pant leg- I looked down to see Lily sitting up in the bed.
"Daddy I think the healer really likes you; you really like my daddy don't you?" she asked.
"What makes you think that we really like each other?" I ask.
"Cause, the way he looked at you and he kissed you the way papa kissed you." I had a feeling she was right.
"I do really like your daddy, Now peanut, I need to keep an eye on you till morning ok? Just to make sure your potions are working. Harry I want you to go home and get some rest; Mel will stay with Lily."
"I will, just call me when I can pick her up." I lean down and tuck her back in the bed. Kurt walks with me to the door.
"I will see you in the morning well rested. Draco was one lucky guy; I just know that we were meant to be together as well." He gave me a quick kiss on the forehead.
When I got home, I went over the Dray's picture that hung on the bedroom wall. (It was a living picture)
"Dray I have found my lifetime mate, the test I had done showed that you were a best friend soul mate that change to more. I hope you are ok with this."
"I knew that you two were destined to meet and be mates. My veela showed me a vision of you together. I had a feeling that we weren't lifetime soulmates but I could not help falling for you Harry. I just want you and Peanut to be happy. I will always be there for you." Picture Dray smiled then walked out of the frame to go to another, most likely to visit with Ginny.
It wasn't long before I was fast asleep.

I came out of the room, and saw Medi-witch/nurse Berry at the nursing station. "Hey Kurt have you see Mel she should be sitting here watching the patients not me, it's her job." She snapped looking up from her phone.
"Nurse berry, you are breaking the rules. You are to address me by my title and two; you forget that Mel is not only head nurse of this shift but she's your boss not the other way around." I told her (this wasn't the first time).
"Fine if you won't do anything, then I will go over your head and report her to Wes. I should be head nurse not her."
"Rachel if you kept your attitude in check you would be shift manager of the cancer ward. But if you must know I have asked Mel to care for only one patient. The girl in room 2 Lily Potter." I told her.
" Why should she get special treatment? There are worse off patients that need tending to." She snipped.
"I warned you before about undermining my authority of this ward. If this keeps up I will put you on report again. We all know how that went. Now I suggest that you take a walk and check your attitude. If you need me I will be checking on little Shelly in room 3 (she had an asthma attack and was getting a breathing treatment) I really hated this time of year I always saw more cases of Asthma and allergies.
