Jack Apparated in the yard of Ruff and Tuff's home; groaning at the water he stood in. "Come on, Uncle North." He complained to no one.

He walked to the house and saw Rapunzel in one of the windows reading a book. He smiled and said to himself, "Always at a window, aren't you, Punzie?"

Rapunzel walked away from the window, setting the book down on a chair, and saw Baby Tooth in her cage. She smiled at the thought of seeing Jack and went to the stairs. "Ruff! Tuff!" She yelled.

The twins popped out of their rooms.

"What do you want now?" Tuff asked agitatedly.

Rapunzel rolled her eyes. "When did Jack get here?"

"Jack who?" Ruff questioned.

"Jack Frost, duh." Rapunzel replied.

"He's not here," Tuff said mockingly.

Rapunzel quirked a brow, slightly irritated. "Are you sure? His stuff is here."

"I'm pretty sure we would know if a teenager with white hair was in our house," Ruff joined Tuff in the mocking.

Tuff chuckled. "He looks so stupid, but also really awesome when you think about how he got it."

"Right?" Ruff asked. "He got his soul sucked out by Dementors." She groaned, throwing her head back. "God, I wish I knew what that felt like."

Tuff scoffed. "Why? You would look awful with white hair."

The two then argued with 'Nuh-uh's' and 'Yeah-huh's' as Rapunzel walked away.

"Those two are always at it, aren't they?" Jack asked, standing in front of Baby Tooth.

"Jack!" Rapunzel ran and hugged him.

"Jack!?" Tuff, Ruff, and Merida all yelled.

Merida bolted out of the room she was in, jumped down the between the stairs, grabbed a handrail three-quarters down, stopping her descent, and then landed safely on the ground floor. She hugged Jack and scolded him, "Think you can just lock yerself away in yer room like Rapunzel? We were gettin' ready to bust ya out, just like we did fuh her."

"Aw, how sweet," Jack joshed and the three shared a chuckle.

Ruff and Tuff made it down and hugged Jack too.

"Why didn't you tell us you were coming?" Ruff asked.

"Didn't know I was; Uncle North just dropped me off."

"Wow, what a saint Nick is," Tuff rolled his eyes. "What's next? Is he just gonna start breaking in to our houses once a year?"

Ruff went to touch Tuff's face.

Tuff smacked her hand away. "Stop that. What were you doing?"

"You have toothpaste on your mouth," Ruff replied.

"I don't need you to help me with things."

This started another argument between the two.

Later, Jack, Rapunzel, and Merida were in the guest room for Jack, burning a floating ball of newspaper.

"When did you get here?" Jack asked Rapunzel.

"A few days ago," she said. "Mom and dad almost locked me away in my room again, but luckily Aunt Elinor convinced them to let me come here with Merida."

"Ay, they're all worried about things not being very safe," Merida brought up. "Which is why we're here in the middle of nowhere."

Jack rubbed the back of his head, asking, "What about the others?"

Rapunzel answered, "I think they want to keep the ni-eight," she quickly blinked tears away, "of us separated until we're back in Hogwarts."

Jack scooted next to Rapunzel and put his arm around her, trying to comfort her without crying himself.

Merida walked over behind them and put her arms around both.

Jack and Rapunzel started to cry and Merida gently shushed as they wept.

The next day in a small town, rain pelted Gothel's hood as she chased her sister.

"Fiona!" Gothel yelled at the redhead walking away from her. "Do not do this. This dodgy little rabbit cannot be trusted."

"The Dark Lord trusts him," Fiona fired back.

Gothel groaned and the two hid as children ran by.

Once the kids passed by, the two women went around the corner and knocked on the door of a home.

Wormtail answered and brought them upstairs to Aster Munds' room.

Aster put down his newspaper, told Wormtail to leave, and used his wand to slam the door shut in the man's face.

After getting Fiona some tea, Aster said to her, "You really shouldn't be here, Mrs. Krei; last I checked the Dark Lord had forbidden you from speaking of such things."

"He told YOU?" Gothel asked, surprised from the revelation.

"Don't doubt me, Gothel." Aster replied. "I have been deceiving one of the greatest wizards for years now."

Gothel snorted as she rolled her eyes.

With some agitation in his voice, Aster told her, "North is one of the greatest wizards, to doubt that would be foolish."

"I do not doubt you, Munds." Fiona said.

"You and Hans should be honored," Gothel told Fiona.

Fiona politely smiled to Aster. "Hans is just a boy."

"As am I," said Flynn as he stepped into the room.

Gothel backed into a corner.

Flynn smirked at the older woman. "Go ahead, Gothel. Roll up your sleeves and show your baby sister what I've done to garner such a reaction." He then set his sights on Fiona. "The Dark Lord's mind will not be changed, but you can rest assure, Aster and myself will take care of your son."

Fiona's smile faded a touch as she looked to the floor. "Thank you," she said. She then cut her eyes at Gothel and stood. "Hans' protection is why we're here," she told Aster.

Flynn chuckled. "The Unbreakable Vow." He smirked at Aster and leaned against the wall.

With less confidence and malice than usual, Gothel said to them, "We want to make sure you won't hop off into your hole when your promises are tested."

"Get out your wand, Whetsell." Aster sneered.

Gothel smiled and pulled out her wand.

At Pieces of Modern Magic, the joke shop owned by Fred and Tuff, the Eight finally reunited.

Anna and Elsa were looking at the love potions on display in the shop.

"They really work," Tuff told them.

"But from what I've heard, Elsa doesn't need one," Fred added.

Elsa grinned. "Excuse me?"

"Aw, don't be shy," Fred said. "Most people know you stole Henry Naveen from Tiana."

Jack, out of sight, sighed when he heard about Elsa and Henry.

Tuff slouched, letting his arms hang loose. "Man, that guy really looks like a prince." He straightened back up and pointed a finger at Elsa. "Wait a minute, what happened to you and that Stabbington brother?"

Elsa grabbed Anna's hand and told the two she was not interested in talking to them about her love life.

"Wow, that was rude," Tuff said and put his hand over his heart.

Later, all Eight were outside of the shop walking down the empty alley of Diagon Alley.

"I'm glad Fred and Tuff have their shop open," Hiccup brought up. "Everyone needs a laugh right about now."

The others agreed, and they walked to Porter's Wands.

They looked at the destruction and decided to step inside.

"Well, now where are kids going to get their wands?" Astrid questioned.

Hiccup sighed. "I'm sure there's another wand shop somewhere."

"Yeah," Anna started, "but it won't be anything like Porter's."

A beat of silence passed by, being ended by Kristoff.

"Hans and his mom look like they don't want to be followed," Kristoff pointed to the two outside.

After looking around to make sure no one was watching them, Hans and Fiona darted down an alley.

"Come on," Jack said when he grabbed Rapunzel's hand and charged outside.

"I'm coming too," Merida followed them.

Hiccup and Elsa protested, but didn't follow.

The three pursuers followed Hans and Fiona to a shop called Borgin and Burkes. They climbed up a building right in front of a window for Borgin and Burkes. They watched Death Eaters go inside and Hans, along with a hooded figure, touch what seemed to be a large wardrobe.

Before they could see the hooded figure's face, the curtains dropped down over the windows.
