Author's Note: Last chapter. This one was kinda rushed because I just didn't feel like working on this story anymore. Besides, I'm already planning the upcoming sequel to this story. So look forward to that!

Chapter 12

Reunion/Rengia The Flame Hashira

"So, you fought a descendant of Akaza?" Sabaki said after Rengia explained everything. It was the next day. Rengia was preparing herself for the long journey back to her hometown.

"Yep." Rengia said.

"So, what are you going to do about it?" Sabaki asked her.

"I don't know." Rengia said.

"Where are you going?" Sabaki asked as he watched Rengia walk out the door of the Headquarters estate.

"To see my father, of course!" Rengia said with a bright smile. "And to have him see someone he hasn't seen in a long time."

Inside the Rengoku Estate, Senjuro was cleaning around the estate. He went outside to clean the outside of the estate when he saw Rengia standing in the gate of the estate.

He smiled and he ran over to Rengia. They both embraced each other.

"You came back." Senjuro said happily.

"Just like I promised." Rengia said.

They both got out of the hug.

"Dad, there's someone I want you to see." Rengia said.

Rengia smiled as the spirit of Kyojuro walked into view. Senjuro's eyes widen as he saw his older brother standing in front of him.

"Hello, Senjuro." Kyojuro said warmly.

"But how..." Senjuro looked from Rengia and then back to his brother.

"Apparently I'm a reincarnation of him." Rengia said.

"A rein... really?" Senjuro said, tears starting to form.

"Yeah." Rengia said.

Senjuro walked up to his brother. Now older, Senjuro was almost as tall as Kyojuro.

"I always thought that one day you might show up again. That everything that has happened was just a dream. I missed you so much brother." Senjuro said as he hugged his brother.

"I missed you too Senjuro." Kyojuro said as he embraced his younger brother. "But now you know that I will always be near."

Rengia watched them as they had their moment.

Back at the Headquarters, Kiriya was announcing something important. The Hashiras, Giyu, Sanemi, and Tengen were there. Rengia, Sabaki, Yi, Mina, and Senjuro were there too.

"Hashiras and young Demon Slayers, someone new will soon be among our ranks as a Hashira. Someone who was brave and strong. Someone who went up against the descendant of Upper Moon Three."

Kiriya looked down at Rengia. "Rengia, please step forward."

"Hashira, I present to you, our new Flame Hashira, Rengia Rengoku." Kiriya announced.

Rengia smiled with relief for she finally completed her goal. Behind her, Yi, Mina, Sabaki, and Senjuro cheered.

"I knew you could do it." Senjuro said warmly to Rengia.

"I couldn't have done it without you Dad." Rengia said. "And I couldn't have done it without you either." She turned her head to to see Kyojuro beside her. He smiled.

"Rengia." The voice of Kiriya spoke. Rengia turned to face him. "Now that you are a Hashira, I have mission for you. I hope you are prepared for this task."

A train horn was heard. Rengia and her friends are standing in a train station.

"Are you sure about this?" Sabaki asked Rengia.

"Yeah. I'll be fine." Rengia said. She has a worried expression.

"Of course, you will! I have no doubt!" Yi said. Mina nodded in agreement.

Rengia exhaled deeply. "Alright. You guys ready?"

"We're going where you're going." Sabaki said. Yi and Mina nodded.

"Alright. Let's do this."
